during this week of spiritual emphasis thank you for coming on time to start our worship service we will stand and then sing our theme song i invite the praise team to lead us [Music] [Music] foreign all your visions [Music] oh [Music] is [Music] [Music] says be joyful [Music] is [Music] your voices get your voices [Music] let us pray our father who art in heaven lord we thank you for a wonderful opportunity of life that you have granted us it's not because we are better or we know better in fact it's because of your message that we are not consumed and we have the right to say great is your faithfulness father as we are gathered there to worship you we ask for the double portion of your holy spirit may your holy spirit hover around the church even in the tents outside may any obstacle that the devil tries to hinder this service going on be stopped in jesus name we ask lord that be of your human servant touch her mouth touch her brain cells may whatever words that he shall give unto us be words that will build us open our ears open our hearts to receive your word may the words of our mouth and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable in the soul of throne this is our humble prayer in jesus mighty name amen i want to kindly request those of you who are coming in please come in quickly and have your seats as we continue with our service i want to bring to your attention the following announcements the champions wish to welcome everyone to our worship services this evening may you all feel at jesus feet since this is the beginning of the week i want to emphasize on how we have to go about it and i want to remind the students especially as we begin our week of spiritual emphasis and then the company meeting please take note that this week is exam three week a test free week what do you say students yes the reason is to give you opportunity to concentrate on spiritual matters this week and having said that we need to keep time when we come for worships here we don't have to waste time on the way so that we also take our time going to class and time is precious especially this week so please take note of that one and when it is chair time come to the church when it is class time go to your classes thank you very much for paying attention to this announcement worship program continues tomorrow morning from 9 00 to 10 am kindly keep time there will be a baptism service on 9th october all those who wish to receive jesus through baptism are requested to register with the chaplaincy someone has lost 500 kenyan shillings around the entrance of the [Music] [Music] praise your name [Music] good evening saints you know the temptation is always the temptation is always to say happy sabbath church now i'm excited about today's topic and i noticed yesterday we might have started a bit late and finished a bit late but i thank you for the patience of the saints let's see what progress we can make tonight amen and so the topic of tonight i'm excited about it i'm sure you'll be excited about it too it's simply the price of virginity the price of virginity amen now i had asked my dear melody to be my reader today but we didn't seem to have time to give each other the verses so i'll try and see what she can do for me and what i can do while i'm up here shall we pray father in heaven as we approach this very heavy topic i ask for clarity and i ask for the presence of your holy spirit with each one that you take from this pulpit and give to each person according to their need in jesus christ's name amen the price of virginity now if you read in second kings chapter 6 verse 6 you remember the story of elijah and he had been requested by the young prophets or the student prophets to come over across the jordan so that he could be with them as they were setting up camp and setting up their homes and he agreed and we all remember the story of how one of the young man borrowed an axe from his friend and that ex lost its head at some point while he was using it the eggs or the the the wooden pot was dislocated from the ex-head and his biggest worry was these x's were very expensive you remember iron those days was very very expensive so he was mortified and he went to the prophet elijah and he said alas for it was borrowed amen and the thing that elisha said is what excites me he didn't say i will prophesy because i'm a prophet is somebody there with me he said you show me where it fell ah is somebody there with me if you are having a problem with your spiritual life today you show me the way it fell why because it all starts with way itself in fact you know where it fell you know sometimes we pretend as if we don't know why we have problems in our lives but if we just look back you know when you started sleeping with that boy hey it did not start as an abortion it started when you went behind a bush somewhere where the pastors cannot see you you know where it fell hey somebody's not there with me so today we want to start with where it felt in fact this whole week i am here to tell you the things that will stop you from going to heaven i don't want to talk about grace and mercy and love is somebody there with me i want us to speak straightly so that if you don't make it you know where it fell now i'm going to start with um the book of matthew chapter 13 our topic the price of virginity matthew chapter 13 verse 10 the brief history of this story is uh the disciples that started in ministry with christ and they observed christ's method of working you know his uh the way that he was carrying himself around they noticed that there was a specific way that he was doing things and they realized that whenever christ was with the crowd he would speak using parables and whenever he was with them in private he would tell them something different or he would explain the parables is somebody there with me and that was something that he was doing consistently and so the disciples decided to go and ask christ what was going on why did he use that as his modest operandi and verse 10 says and the disciples came and said unto him why do you speak to them in parables and he answered and said unto them because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven but to them it is not given hey is somebody there with me christ did an answer he didn't say no that's not what i'm doing he says i know and i'm talking to the crowd i'm speaking to them in parables but why i do so is because there are some people to whom the mysteries of heaven are to be revealed and there's some people to whom they don't belong now you see the people who crowded around christ were people with itchy ears people wanted to see some miracles so they could go back home and tell them what he did today and what he said today and what amazing thing happened so christ knew how to deal with the crowd but he said there's a special group of people who set themselves apart now the disciples had left a lot to follow christ there's somebody there with me that left families that left careers that left money they'd left businesses and christ says because you've made that sacrifice and i say today because you have made the sacrifice to leave your holes of residence to you it is given to understand the mysteries of heaven and so i want you to be ready today i'm not planning on telling you things that you already know is somebody there with me this whole week i'm hoping to give some expose of some things you do not know but things you will have to be accountable for on the day of judgment is somebody there with me right let's go on now the first thing i wish you to understand is that whenever god says something whether you like it or not whether you believe it or not whether it is convenient for you or not he means it not only does he mean it but everything he speaks has everlasting consequences is someone there with me every time you pray a prayer god has so much to consider before he answers your prayer because whenever god says something it has everlasting effects and it stands forever so before god allows you to pursue a certain course at a university he's already looking at your grandchildren is somebody there with me before he allows you to date that lovely young lady he is considering generations to come and he can see that that young lady will not be fit is not fitting the profile of a matriarch of a certain generation ah is somebody there with me so we need to be a little patient with god he's very careful he knows if he calls you a dog today you will become a dog and start barking everything he says has everlasting effects ah is somebody there with me now you might be wondering what i'm talking about right i'll give you a few examples when god instructed adam and eve in fact he instructed adam and adam then advised eve now he said in the day that you shall eat of this tree the fruit of this tree you shall surely die and a lot of people question how come they didn't die immediately how come they lived for hundreds and hundreds of years but we need to understand something that from the day that they disobeyed death became their reality they started a slow walk towards death and if you look at it i was just studying in the word of god uh if you go to genesis 6 3 it says and god said my spirit shall no longer strive with men right i'm going to reduce his years and his years were reduced to what how many a hundred and twenty now we see that from 969 already uh our our our slow walk to death began and by the time we entered genesis chapter 6 we were now on 120. if we go to psalm chapter 90 verse 10 this is when david is saying well immense years are what sixth core and what how many did he say essentially he said uh 70 years and by reason of good health it can go a little beyond that but we noticed that our lifespan was reduced again from 120 to what to 70 years a slow walk towards death and i was looking at statistics as far back as 2015 and i realized that the life expectancy in the average life expectancy let's say in any african country was about 57. are we together down from what 70 coming down here and during the aids pandemic the life expectancy actually came down to 27 in certain countries a slow walk towards death and now today we have diseases that we didn't have before in fact the diseases that are now common were called rare diseases before and now they have renamed them they call them auto immune diseases these are the diseases where your own immune system is fighting against itself and i'll just pass by here quickly to say in zimbabwe i think it was in 2013 when they were celebrating world's diabetes day what happened was they gave statistics of how many people was were known to be suffering from diabetes and they realized that it was about four million people in zimbabwe and when i went to research i discovered that diabetes mellitus type one is an autoimmune disease is someone there with me meaning something that zimbabweans are eating is confusing the immune system to the point that the immune system is attacking certain of their organs and they cannot fight those diseases because their soldiers are the ones that are killing their bodies is somebody there with me a slow walk towards what towards death now i said when god says something he means it amen when he said talitakumi the young dams or what a rose is somebody with me the day that he cursed the fig tree and he said you shall no longer bear a fig tree a fig in your life when they returned in the morning what had happened to the fig tree and so everything that god says in the spirit responds in the physical when he said let there be light what happened there was a light that you could see i hope you are following me very closely now let's go to our go deeper into our our topic when i converted from just being an adventist to becoming a christian adventist and i started reading the bible you remember i told you from genesis every time i would reach a verse i didn't understand i would stop there and i would pray and say god explained this to me i don't understand it and so as i was reading i read genesis chapter 3 16. okay i'll ask melody to please read that for me genesis chapter 3 verse 16 is a very common uh common verse and i want you to follow me very closely as i was going through the bible i got stuck on this one genesis chapter 3 verse 16. yes unto the woman he said and to the woman woman he said so just wait so god spoke to the men right in fact he spoke to the to the to the to the to the serpent spoke to the man and now we are there talking to the woman and so what did god say to the woman i will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception in sorrow sorrow thou shalt bring you shall bring forth your children that's the first one is somebody there with me so god said this is your punishment i will multiply your sorrow and your conception and in sorrow you shall bear your children number one number two and thy desire shall be to thy husband and your desire shall be to your husband number two number three and he shall rule over thee now i don't know how many people think that the women were given one curse do we hear three things there you shall have pain in bearing children your desire shall be unto your husband your husband shall rule you three things hey is somebody there with me i said god said there are some people that i wish to reveal mysteries to so that it can help you in your walk in this world amen and i said god i'm a bit stuck if yes i can understand about the pain in bearing children but i don't get the part about my desire being for my husband and him rolling over me if i'm going to desire someone and if he's going to be given authority over me so that what he says i have to follow then i need to know who my husband is hey you're not there with me church i need to know that person who's called my husband because i need to be careful who he is what if he's a dictator what if he's a tyrant somebody that what if he's a mercenary i need to be able to choose carefully i need to know who my husband is and i pray and i said god you reveal this to me i don't get it i don't understand and as i was studying the word i got to john chapter four now please open with me to john chapter four i'm very much aware of our time so some of it we will not read if we go to john chapter four if you read verses 15 to 18 i ask melody to read that is where our story is today john chapter 4 15-18 what does it say the woman's safe unto him yes sir give me this water right that just stop there we all know the story of the samaritan woman right a lot of people a lot of preachers call her a prostitute why because she is known to have slept with more than one man and i say yeah you call her a prostitute that's fine but lord have mercy if i compare that woman and her six people with the women in this generation in this very auditorium she's a saint are you there with me church i'm not going to ask people to count their numbers eh shame that woman she's referred to as a prostitute so i wonder what we call you and so christ says give me some water to drink she says no the jews and the samaritans don't get along we don't even give each other water so sorry i can't help you then christ says if you knew the gift of god amen and him whom you are talking to you would ask for living water so that you will never thirst again and now what did she say sir give me this water give me this water so i'll never have to test again uh-huh that i first not yes neither come either to draw neither to come to the well jesus safe unto her uh-huh go call thy husband and come heather and call your husband and then come back what did she say the woman answered and said sir i have no husband no husband jesus christ to her uh-huh thou hast dwelt you are correct you're right uh-huh i have no husband when you say you have no husband why for thou hast five husbands you have had five husbands and he whom thou now has and the one you have the one what husband that you have is what is not it's not thy husband your husband stop there hey is somebody following what's happening here this is seems it seems like a like uh like a paradox of thoughts go and get your husband crushes christ the woman says sir i have no husband and he says oh yeah even though i asked you to go and get your husband i know you don't have a husband because you've had five husbands and the husband you have now is not your husband i are not there with me church now if you understand this i said i was asking god who is my husband and if you watch this closely you will see that christ was speaking in the spiritual while this young lady was speaking in the physical and the conversation made sense that way is somebody there with me so christ says if you knew the gift of god and him you are talking to you would ask for living water so that you do not thirst anymore he was speaking in the spiritual there's someone there with me she understood him in the physical cell give me this water so if i drink it i will not test again and i will not come back to this well in the physical and he says in the spiritual go and fetch your husband what husband spiritual husband and she says well i'm not married no one's ever come and paid dowry for me i have not waited physically sir i have no husband hey and he says yes you are correct physically when you say you have no husband you're a single woman but you've been around a bit and watching with my spiritual eye huh god still speaking in the spiritual watching with my spiritual eye i can tell in the heavenly records where everything is recorded with terrible exactness that you have had five men and five men are written against your name and there is a man who is husbanding you now you are also not married to him ah church you are not there with me understand something that there's a record in heaven where women you have bedded men who have husbanded you are recorded there against your name and one day christ shall come and you will be there married to elder so and so hey are you there with me and he will say go and get your husbands how come you are standing there with one man but in my record here i have 13 men where are they hey mr so-and-so i see that you are standing here with the lady and you say lord the lord the lord is a man of one wife and the lord blessed him with four children he'll be asking hey what about the other women because they are still written against your name when i see in the spirit because when i said whatever you bind here on earth is bound in heaven i was not joking ah some of you have even forgotten those boyfriends you have even forgotten the names of those girlfriends and you think because it was a one-night stand it doesn't matter to god but if you read in the book of ecclesiastes chapter 3 verse 14 you will understand that god says everything that he does is everlasting and everything that is recorded will be there forever and you will be accountable for it in fact if you go on to verse 15 you will see that god says ah let's read verse 15 this one is a fearful fear for one what does verse 15 say that which have been that which happened yes is now is also considered for now and that which is to be have already been and that which is to be has already been and now listen carefully and god refers and god requires that which is passed the kings of the past they may be passed to you but god requires the things of the past he has it in his record ah judy are not there with me that is why david said do not remember the sins of my youth i will not be able to bear it ha why because the default position is that god remembers so you have to ask him to forget because his record is there ah is somebody there with me church now watching my time let's quickly go back to genesis chapter 3 verse 16. i said everything god speaks in the spirit has an immediate physical response and god said unto the woman i will greatly increase your labor and your sorrow in sorrow you shall bear your children your conception and your labor in sorrow you shall bear your children is there any woman here who does not know that there is pain in childbirth none whether you're chinese whether you're tall or short they have a degree you don't the pain is universal is somebody there with me and you shall have a desire unto your husband we've just realized that husband according to god has got nothing to do with whether somebody paid dowry for you any man who husbands you is your husband any woman you have wifed is your wife is somebody there with me it is there in the heavenly records and i have been sad when i see the statistics of divorce in the world i can't say in any country before i would say in the west but now it's just as bad in and i wonder why what is the cause of the divorces that are happening is somebody there with me church and i realized that no we need to see where it fell it fell somewhere we need to go and retrieve the ex-head for the simple reason that you have this lady in a white gown gliding down the aisle ah and you have this man in a black suit or white suit whichever way and his standing leg smiling the poor man does not know that he's getting uh uh he's getting into a okay in china we call it barika in in in english we call it polygamy he's getting into a polygamous or polyandry marriage because this woman is walking down the aisle she has seven men following her in the spirit a church you're not there with me he also has his own train huh of 17 women i'm speaking conservatively and somehow that marriage somewhere should work a miracle should happen where you have 24 people in the home when i just become a christian i learned from pentecostals about soul ties and i didn't know what soul ties were but then after discovering a little more i realized no that's what god said that a man shall leave his father and mother and shall cleave unto his wife and the two shall become what one flesh is somebody there with me that tells me that the biggest bond that is created between two people when they come together is not sexual it is spiritual and a lot of us are getting into things we do not understand understand something when you have sexual relations with a young man or a young woman you are opening yourself and your family spiritually to them let me give you an example you might not be understanding me i have a friend of mine who once dated you she she she's an adventist but she was dating a gentleman was not an adventist in fact not only was it not an adventist they used to visit the witch doctors what do we call them here huh those ones so him and his family used to visit and uh he would tell her oh no you know we went to see the we call them gangas or sangomans right and should be like oh you know i don't believe in that you know church doesn't believe in that so it's like ah you're saying that but these people they can see that's what you would say to her these people they can watch they can't see so she says well i don't believe in all that right so one day he went he came back and he said oh i went with my mom and whatnot and today the sangoma the wish doctor was talking about you and your family and she says what what did he say and the young men said well the man was saying that there are some people in your family some uncles who are fighting your family right who are actively trying to destroy you as a family and now you see my friend was a bit shocked she was in trepidation why because it was true but she had not told what her boyfriend about that to say we have problems in our family yes there are uncles who are like this and uncles were like that she had not said anything to him and she knew what he was saying was the truth and she could not understand how come he knew or this sangoma knew about what was happening in her family without her involvement it was only later when we were given a lesson on spirituality and sexuality that she understood that the minute that she opened her legs to her boyfriend she opened her soul to him and he had access to information in her family in the spirit you're not there with me church sometimes we get involved in these things and we have no clue what we're exposing ourselves to and what we're exposing our families to the devil getting access to you you see god has that hedge around you the same hedge that he had around job ah you're not there with me church it's not a silly thing and it's not a small thing when god says i will never leave you nor forsake you that i have my angels that encompass around those who fear me i are not there with me church and you decide to open the gate church are you there with me and your desire shall be unto your husband did you know did you know that whenever a man and a woman come together before the act the man produces a hormone called dopamine and that gives them the drive you can ask for a car he'll buy you he'll promise to buy you that the need is so urgent you can up twist him for anything but during the act and immediately after the act when that opening goes and the act is done the man wants to go outside for some fresh air but the woman is somebody there with me the woman now during the act produces oxytocin and immediately after that's why after she wants to cuddle she feels i love him hmm and that oxytocin is the same hormone that is produced when a mother is breastfeeding it causes bonding there's someone there with me it causes bonding that's why it's hard for women to cheat huh it's not because they are holy it's a physiological thing nature goes against them are we together she starts to feel feelings for this particular man and so when christ said your desire shall be unto your husband whomever has husbanded you you start to feel that desire now i don't know if you guys have noticed something that whenever a boy is chasing a girl ah he chases her i tell you and he chases her and he chases her but once they have sexual relations who is now chasing who now she is calling to say hey you have not called me you don't know how i slept what if i felt ill in the evening and in fact once two people come together in sexual relations even if they break up you give them 10 years they can pick up where they left off ah is somebody there with me now when god said your desire shall be for your husband he said it in the spirit but he made sure that physically it became or it took effect there's someone there with me and he will rule over you watch when a girl gets pregnant huh who is chasing after who so are you going to marry me so what's your plan but before that happened she had a choice and that's why when god said he will rule over you it's important for every lady in this room that you know where you hide your jewels you can't give them to every tom dick and harry ah church are you there with me if i have a pot of gold i would not leave it in a tack shop outside the gate i would go to the reserve bank there's someone there with me and i'd ask them to put it in a vault that is safest from thieves church are you there with me if you knew that any man that you give your jewels to he is counted for as a husband if you knew that every woman you give your strength to is counted to you as a wife and you shall be required to answer for those people you know i've seen in families someone just wakes up annoyed moody and the husband think what's the matter my dear but no it's husband number four who got into an accident somewhere and somehow because of the connection that remains it's affecting her mood she doesn't even know it hey you don't know nothing about spirituality people are you there with me and we meddle with things that we don't understand now as i come to a close i will not read this unfortunately our time is up but if we look at the example of amnon and tama do you remember that story where amnon was lovesick for tama and tama begged him to say please go and speak to my father he will give you he will give me to you and amnon forced her we all remember the story that tama after being forced she wouldn't leave amnon's home and he had to call his servants to throw her out and to buy the door behind her and her issue was now that you've had me you can't let me go and you ask why could he not let her go and she said because this thing in chasing me away is worse than you raping me is someone there with me i want you to go and read that story again and why would she say that because she knew that because she had been had she was no longer available to any other men for marriage and it was clear to her brother absalom as well and when she left amnon's home she tore off the laces that the children or that the princesses wore to show that they are virgins she was now announcing to the world that i am no longer a virgin in fact i am no longer available i now have a man who is my husband somebody there with me but she had been raped she had not agreed but still that's how much is important to god and you're not there with me church and absalom took her stayed with her for two years and if you read the end of the story you will notice that it says he planned to kill amnon and he did and his cousin his friend when asked by david the king david he said uh absalom had planned this from the day that he raped his sister now why did absalom have to kill amnon he had to kill amnon in order to free his sister to get married to someone else and that was the price of the virginity of tama is someone there with me dinah will remember the story of dinah and sheikham she agreed from the reading i don't see that she was forced the men even wanted to marry her after they'd had sexual relations is someone there with me but we all know the story that then happened what happened simeon and levi planned to go and kill the whole tribe of sheikhan and they did and when they were asked by their father jacob why did you do this their answer was they why did he treat our sister as a what as a harlot this man wanted to marry her are you there with me yes things happen but he had good intentions but those good intentions did not save the fact that it was hallo tree hi church are you there with me so we have people here who are married who had first had sexual relations then they decided to get married afterwards church of god that is still harlotry are you there with me saints you do not try to save your sins by getting married to the person that you are promiscuous with it is socially acceptable but according to heaven it is too harlotry is somebody there with me today let me end it there isaiah chapter 4 verse 6 says my people perish because of lack of knowledge don't meddle with things you don't understand some people i'm not going to tell you about hiv or stis i'm not here to tell you about protection i'm not here to tell you about heartbreak i'm here to tell you about the answers you're going to have to give to god when the time comes is somebody out there with me i'm talking about the spiritual wickedness you're opening your life to without knowing huh is someone there with me i'm talking about your vulnerability in your ignorance now i know that where we are here we have people who could actually be in sexual relations illicitly there's someone there with me whether it's pre-marital or extramarital i'm going to invite you as we close to stand hey you know i once had this sermon at the church and i said everyone who has a girlfriend to everyone every even if you're a married man if you had an extra marital affair and i went there i said even if you're a woman if and if you you know and i said everyone please stand so we pray there was a great trembling in the church eventually i said everyone stand up and they all stood up with a great sigh of relief and we prayed for the culprits amidst the crowd and the next day i remember when when the vestry the elder said hey my sister had made life hard for us but we thank god that grace abound it hallelujah so i'm going to ask everyone to stand as we pray father in heaven we come before your mighty throne a fearful fearful topic indeed where it seems that sex is cheap and that there are no lasting consequences to our actions the children have stood up we have men even men with high responsibilities who have not been faithful to their wives and they formed ties they were not aware of we have ladies who are serving in the church who are in promiscuous or have been in promiscuous relationships we have young people who because they started they don't know how to stop i pray jehovah each person knows where they're coming from i know where i'm coming from each one of us knows where they're coming from oh lord in heaven that record that is there in heaven that is recorded with terrible acceptance i pray that father you may delete it in the name of jesus that each heart that is confessing today that this is what i have been doing but i want to stop and start a new life today give me strength because i did not know this mystery that whenever i am with someone that what i bind here on earth is bound in heaven and it is recorded by the angels with terrible exactness i pray jehovah that you have mercy on each and every one of us that you may give us a chance to start again yes someone can start again the young man can stop demanding from the young woman the young woman can stop demanding from the young man help us lord lift us up onto higher ground onto a higher plane where we can claim righteousness for we know that today the highest form of worship we can give you is sexual purity and so help us as young people help us as elderly people that we may conquer the temptations of the evil one and break those ties divorce us from our past and help us to walk
