The one MISTAKE holding you back from HIGH ELO - Valorant Educational Guide

[Music] all right everyone today I'm going to be showing you the best setting no one really utilizes the setting that will help you climb to a mortal or ascendant pretty quickly first off the setting I'm talking about is of course the shift key that makes you go from running like this to shift walking like this what's so important about that is when you're running like I am now in the top left you can see a little circle on the mini map and that shows you where the enemies can hear you meaning on the very front top border of the Border or of the circle that's where enemies can hear me running currently using the shift key is beneficial for a couple reasons but I'm going to give you three main reasons right now as to why I think the shift key is holding you back in your games now for one a lot of low players I see they lean too hard onto the shift key meaning they'll be shifting all the way through here even when they're peeking they'll be Shifting the entire time and that isn't beneficial because when you're shifting you go slower meaning when when you're moving around the corner when you're right here when you're shifting around the corner like this when you are right here the enemies can see the right side of your body they can see you peeking out through here but of course you can't see them like this they can't you can't see them now shifting what that does is it makes it so that that effect happens on every corner you peek instead what you want to do is you want to use fast movement to peek so you're peeking pretty quickly right so it's a lot harder to shoot now the second reason is that they too easily give away information about themselves while they're around the map meaning round is about to start barri is up right here can't go past it round starts they immediately Sprint out here gun out looking around running through main the entire time right and what that does is if you look up the top left with the circle you can see that anybody on site anybody around here even even maybe in Market they can hear you're running that means that they'll call for their team to rotate over here and you guys will be met with a pretty big defense because they'll already know that you're there now one thing I recommend doing is Shifting up at the start here and making them push you making them push up on you maybe making them use a sad Dart break it waste youtil so then you can go out pretty quickly while they're kind of on their heels still and the third thing I see lowo player consistently fail is using the shift key instead of using it to trick opponents they use it for personal reasons what they really should be using the shift key for is let's say you have four of your teammates lined up on a and you know usually that'd be like a pretty obvious a hit however if you if they don't make any noise and you sprint through main you're shooting throwing a cloud you know whatever making tons of noise especially low ELO the enemies are going to hear all that if they're posted up around here they're going to hear that they're going to call for their teammates it's B rotate over and your teammates on a should have a free sight they can walk R it yeah I think if you master those three main benefits of Shifting and disadvantages of Shifting then you should be able to at least rank up a couple ranks because when you have more information than your opponents it gives you a pretty good chance of winning any fight you set your mind to
