The Official Build: Perfect Cryofridge Floors in Ark: Survival Ascended

hello everyone I'm going to show you how to make a cryo fridge floor today I figured out how to do it in the public test server but I was waiting until the patch actually came out to post this and I didn't actually get it to make the video in time but so I'm just kind of I'm not rushing this out but I'm making this the day of the patch so this is on not on the public test server this is on single player with official settings so you can make this an official the what I'm going to show you how to make today is this one where the cryo fridges are slightly coming out of the floor and you don't need hatch frames or anything to walk on these it's just kind of like a bumpy road and it works just fine and then if you prefer this where the chir fridges are slightly in the floor instead of out of the floor uh you just have to skip the first step that I'll show you on the other one the only difference between the high and the low ones the high ones here uh I can put down a wall between these and I can walk over the wall uh if you want to do this I don't know why you'd want to do it really maybe it will help with building or something but also you can just like make this stos and then make another three your rexes or something just looks nice cuz it's segmented uh with these you can still put down the wall but you can't walk over it you get stuck so that's the only like practical difference between these okay so this is the area then I build my cryo fridges in this is the basement not the actual like floor we're going to be walking on or where the cryo fridges will be at the the top of that will be this and I'm going to put the cryo fridges in these two rows right here and make sure this is the only ceiling or wall that you have in this area don't have like walls right here at all while you're building because it will obstruct the cryo fridges when we're placing them but we're able to put the ceilings and walls down after the fact so just make sure this is the only ceiling that's there because we're going to put the first cry fridge up against it and we're going to put the cryo fridges on tables and that was the lower cryo fridges that you saw and if you want the slightly higher ones you're going to have to put down quarter ceilings here first and then you're going to need quter walls which I have here and then you're going to put a pillar at the top of those walls and then you're going to lay a pillar down over those quarter walls or the quarter ceilings and you can get rid of these if you didn't put down the quarter ceilings these pillars laying down would not have a snap point and go ahead and just lay down pillars down the length that you want to put cryo fridges it's kind of hard to get the snap point just aim at the bottom of the pillar and then cycle through the snaps like I am I'm using Q on my keyboard I'm not sure what it is on controller I don't need this anymore and then go ahead put down a ladder to line yourself up and we're going to put down the tables now uh disable snapping and then look to see I'm naked look to see where this table is and and place it as if you're going to put a wall down at the end where the ceiling is and you don't want to obstruct the wall with the table so we're going to put that there and then we're going to snap the next table to it and what I mean is this table is not going to obstruct this wall so that's what I meant by that and make sure you're lined up while you place all these tables and go ahead and do the same thing for every pillar or Foundation okay we don't need this ladder anymore line ourselves up one more time on this ladder and get rid of it and then bring out the cryo fridge finally uh disable snapping I think snapping is usually on to start and then get as close as you can to the ceiling right here and you want to be really sure you're as close close as possible it won't mess anything up but it'll just look nicer and by nicer I mean like a pixel nicer okay place down the first one and now it's easy peasy lemon squeezy here just enable snapping and start setting them all down I got them all down I like putting walls right up against them it looks nice when you're viewing or looking down at the cryo fridges like this you're not seeing a bunch of nonsense like over here you'd see beaches and whatever else is under your floor so just put walls around them then we're placing down our ceilings or our floor per se not really our ceilings they are ceilings and then it's all done and you can see it should be pretty perfect yeah it's like kind of touching the wall right there on that one and it's just kind of touching the wall on this one this one looks like it's slightly inside the wall but that's fine because these are slightly inside the wall they're literally perfect and you can just extend this any which way uh as long as you put down the tables and they have a base to stand on and I don't think it gets any better than this okay so
