THE NATIONAL TEAM vs NEW ABYSS (Genshin Impact)

today we'll be trying the new abyss but we'll also be trying a team comp i haven't really tried before and that is i guess what is known as the national comp uh i just saw an image of my discord asked a few questions i think we're good to go so this team apparently consists of shogun shanling waterdude and binny this is essentially just a ton of off-field damage uh bini for his attack boost shogun i guess as our main dps um you know typically i would have like sarah when i'm taking shogun as my main since you see six and all but wanted to try this comp and i also wanted to do the new abyss anyway so let's just so let's just do it at the same time they did mention that having everyone at 200 or so energy recharge would be good for this uh my shawling might not even be built my shawling could actually have staff of houma though uh i'm considering it because i know her her like pyronator can do a massive amount of damage let's get back to shandling because i'm pretty sure my other characters are more or less good yeah we have water dude here with 231 and is sacrificial benny might be a little low oh no he's at 214 yeah because he has a skyward blade tons of energy recharge in this team shawling being the exception maybe we don't need to get her over 200 since everyone is like kind of far above 200 we might focus a little bit more on damage for sean lin because i know she can do a ton even though she's like our only not 90 in this team i would still like to see some pretty big pyro hits in there well i guess we could give shawling two-piece sever just for some extra energy still a little low on the energy charge but uh her damage stats look pretty good pretty good 60 to 180 might be a little wacky but whatever i guess everyone is more or less ready to go a quick look at everyone's stats just if you're curious uh here's my shogun uh here is my shondling we just looked at actually so there's not much to see there here's my water dude here it's pretty standard you know high focus on energy recharge a little bit occur increase damage for whatever and then finally binny he has more query than great damage like it doesn't really matter that much i guess but since the circle it was the off piece anyway we're gonna go and even that out a little bit just for fun now he has 55 to 126 looks better to me all right we're ready to go so what's going on with this new abyss we cleared nine and ten i think for the sucrose showcase so 11 and 12. well this is already off to a good start we have 60 electro damage bonus uh so we're definitely gonna try and take advantage of that uh what else we got here so we're starting with the wicked torrents that's annoying cryovis made shouldn't be any issue though but yeah currently i'm thinking national team for second half because they won't be able to deal with the wicked torrents that easily chamber two a bunch of cryo i think they would be able to deal with second half decently well i mean there are quite a few electro dudes here as well but we will also have a good amount of pyro and hydro damage so this shouldn't be an issue either yikes okay and then chamber three national team i think would be much better for here but they could also i think deal with the flames and the oh my god question is can my geo team plus like ayaka take care of first half i think they can so i think that's what we're gonna go for just my general geo team here and i guess we'll throw ayaka in to take care of the torrent a little bit faster as far as rotation goes pretty sure it's shogun first then binny sean length and water dude so we're gonna have them in that order because i'm not really used to the setup i kind of want to have them in the order that i'm going to be kind of using them in the rotation and i think it's something like this well even though we are focused more on national comp we are also looking at the whole abyss so i'm going to have some comments for even my geo team here um but yeah we are starting with the abyss selector it looks like oh let me finish off this abyss mage real quick this was really just one abyss mage and one lector so not a big deal honestly if you do have a decent cryo with you so yeah this was really just one uh this mage and one lector so not really a big deal honestly probably gonna farm my bursts back here before we move on to the next chamber and then national comp so what are we starting with here whopper flowers so we're gonna do it like that benny boost uh shondling burst water dude burst and then water dude ease trying to stay within his ring and then we go we go to shogun burst and then we should have all this passive damage going insane um there aren't quite enough enemies here to see like numbers everywhere like i saw on that screenshot but maybe we'll see that at one point and then basically the rotation starts over we already did shogun e so we're gonna so we're just gonna continue on everyone's burst is always up because there's so much energy recharge in this team back to shogun to do her burst and wow that's actually really really strong okay okay so much action as well it's like you're you're never staying with one character for more than a couple seconds because you just are cycling bursts over and over definitely quite a fun team but anyway here we are floor 11 chamber two uh we have some cryo stuff all this doesn't really matter to a geo team they'll they'll equally destroy everything here we have water stuff we're going to go ahead and pop ayaka's burst i suppose i mean ayaka was mainly there just for the abyss lecture to make that go a little faster although that probably wasn't even necessary ending it off with the hydra mage again ayaka should be quite nice here back to national comp here uh yeah we do have a bunch of electro but whatever we're going to stick to the same rotation we unfortunately don't have shamlingsburg she is the one with under 200 uh energy recharge so yeah um and unfortunately it's kind of pointless to even do shogun burst here so whatever we're going a little bit off rotation just trying to do everyone's skills to get everyone's burst back for maybe the next phase jesus christ these things are tanky when you can't do bursts starting to think it probably would just be better all right here we go we can do a little bit now again just getting everyone's bursts ready oh oh god oh god everything is messed up water dude didn't have his ease ready yeah now benny boost is gone so shogun can't even take advantage of it all right let's go ahead and try this again i suppose although now we have just i'm not even going to bother using shandlings as we only have pyro dudes here we will go and use raiden burst though which is still doing crazy oh and then an electro yeah unfortunately we're gonna we're gonna go ahead and use shanling's burst we're already down to six minutes so we gotta hurry up here now unfortunately we will not have it for chamber three hopefully we can get through it anyway and yeah here we just have a bunch of uh electro hounds which i'm starting to think the national team may have still been better for the first half nothing i can do about that now except just to try and get through it anyway it has some pretty nice aoe when the dudes are clumped up so oh yeah that was fast as hell okay didn't need electro for that and then we have both abyss selectors i don't even know which one to start with so i'm going to start with this one okay that one's down we're going to go ahead and get this one down as well i'm still not super comfortable with the pyro lector and what is really required so i'm just going to keep the rotation going more or less okay the pyro one is down already for this one we do need a bunch of pyro we can basically just focus on doing binny and shondling no one else will really do anything we can of course pop like water dudes ease off whenever okay yeah that actually worked out really well we still had like eight and a half minutes that was only chamber 11 however so so after looking through the three chambers i think i'm going uh national team first half geo team second half because we have the golden wolf lord in second half geo will probably be good and i think they could handle these guys down here as well and for all this ruined stuff in the first half i think all the elemental stuff would be good and then there's the thunder guys at first which is you know electro is good for that we're also going to take kokomi with our geo team this time because uh the golden wolf lord you know doesn't care about shields so let's see how this goes here just going to start with a bini boost uh this let's get water dude oh wait we have to use burst first i'm dumb as always and then uh raiden burst oh that didn't crit unfortunately uh but yeah they are dying pretty dang quick here let's go ahead and start it over miniboost yeah shondling i guess we'll need some more energy unfortunately it looks like just start off with another shogun burst here see if we can get it under a minute that would be poggers 906. stop moving ah nice 903. all right cool next we got uh four of these little dudes uh just going to be smacking them with ito seeing if that does the trick we did start with two entire minutes so i assume we'll have enough time we'll go ahead and just do a coco me just for a little bit of extra clam damage i guess we don't really need healing right now but whatever oh my god these guys are tanky as all hell i'm gonna see if i can kill this one without doing ito's burst again because he well he doesn't have it first of all and i would like to save it for the next chamber if possible yeah i think that'll work uh very close though 13 seconds left i believe now we have the ruined dudes yes unfortunately in this scenario we have to do the burst a little bit in a different order because uh they didn't have them already um but we only have two here oh wow okay that was done in 19 seconds holy hell uh that was that was pretty crazy we can take our time with uh mr well we we might need our time here i know he's just floating around most of the time so uh it's kind of annoying can do a little bit damage with kokomi i guess maybe the first half was so easy because yeah you need a bunch of time for this guy yeah we are getting some pretty good hits off on him here though oh wow but yeah he's gonna take a while he's already getting the weird shields out so yeah i don't know if that's going to work uh yeah he's not staying down long enough oh god now he's doing something else oh but he's so close to dead kokomi can you can you kill him the rest of the way please i don't know when he's gonna come back down so oh now he's doing the tornado he will come down after this so i think if we don't die we'll have enough time probably but dang it's a really good thing we uh killed those ruin guards in like 20 seconds all right chamber three time i don't really know what to expect with this one we're just going to try our best oh well there's only three of them so let's just spam everyone's burst and hope for the best ah raiden is not critical oh wow but i think two of them are dead already oh my god this team is freaking insane i don't even know what to say i mean obviously benny water dude they're very good supports shoddling insane in the right comp and this is apparently the right comp christ and then we have this i mean it could just be first half is much easier to compensate for the difficulty of second half maybe that's it they are acting a little bit differently than usual um usually they would have jumped over to the other side by now and then there they go but it was much later than usual i i don't know why in particular i'm focusing on the cryo one i usually focus on the electro one first but there's no real walls for them to attach onto and i know the electron was doing that so oh no defeat the what oh yeah they work much differently you have to kill them both at the same time okay oh yeah and they get like half of their hp back i was not aware of that we'll probably need to retry this one i can imagine also they keep deleting my uh bursts which is major annoying well they're both decently low health right now i'm trying to keep them all right there goes one come over here do not move yes okay hey that worked out even though he kind of messed up the first time there was enough time left because that uh i guess what is known as the national com just completely obliterated uh the floor before just like on chamber two i don't know man that's pretty insane to me but there it was probably one of the easiest times i've had with chamber 12 perhaps thanks to the comp maybe it's just i don't know the while the golden wolf lord was i mean in general i think just takes so long to kill so you really need to get through those two big ruined dudes quick um but yeah i think besides that wasn't too bad i am a bit of a whale as a disclaimer so me saying it wasn't hard doesn't mean anything to most people thoughts on national comp very cool very strong actually quite fun as well it is a little tricky and abyss unless you have a bunch of characters because it uses like the best supports ever sean ling actually having that 200 energy recharge probably would have made that whole process a lot smoother because she was usually the one lacking her burst and uh yeah but you know it worked out most the time anyway just overall really solid comp i enjoyed myself make sure to tell me what you think though
