[Music] welcome back to another daily video my name is joel from roomie official and today we're going to be looking at the scariest songs ever we will be listening both to obscure artists that specialize in scary music and to famous artists you will not expect to be on this list but they are and some of them are very disturbing let's get started stupid okay so first off we have a fixed twin come to daddy sounds scary to me among other things apex twin are known for their weird and disturbing music videos okay let's go [Music] hey [Music] okay so some of the stuff was definitely scary some of it i think has been lessened by the fact that we have like tech talk and snapchat and stuff now a lot of the face morph stuff looks kind of silly let's see what happens next [Music] what's for this video i came across something special this is a short clip from a song called frankie teardrop [Music] in the 80s there was a popular challenge called the frankie teardrop challenge to complete this challenge the participant had to find a spooky area during night time and listen to the full 10 minute track alone i know you're going to seriously struggle with completing the frankith challenge so i'm gonna give you a chance to skip it yes please somewhere in this video i've hidden a jump scare if you manage to not jump or scream when that jumpscare happens you win and you don't have to listen to frankie teardrop this jump scare can happen at any time you only have one chance good luck because you're gonna need it all right let's go on with the video i'm really sensitive to jump scares as you've noticed from the loud volume sorry i need my scary voice i need my whispery voice for this video but yeah this means that i will be on edge for a jump scare like for a long more time like eight more minutes to this compilation for me to watch i know how much it is in the video but let's do it i guess okay so next up is the police every breath you take a song most of us have things were considered like so creepy like you could kind of scare people with in between things between male and female i feel with the rise of the trans movement and stuff this is a lot less creepy but he still freaks me out just merely meant something in general [Music] i don't know about you guys but even though you know it's not maybe the type of knockers you'd want to look at it's hard to look away you're very free of the when people say free the i don't think they mean that they're supposed to get off the memories but that's apparently what they did next up we got slipknot 505. this is more of a disturbing audioscape than it is a song for the first half there is audio only second half includes visuals which is scarier interesting ah [Music] ah that was a bigger reaction than i thought it would be okay so that was jonas's jump scare um i guess i'm gonna have to watch the scary thing for 10 minutes i guess uh anyway as far as the question for that i thought it was scarier without the visuals the visuals were kind of goofy now i'm gonna get back to my scary voice but um you guys feel the scary coming back it's interesting how scary visuals have evolved so much over time that just looked silly now okay next up we got maroon 5's animals another pop song that should be listened to closer okay let's have a listen can we just notice the similarities between his back and the piece of meat over there actually maybe they did a swap maybe this is actually a piece of meat and this is adam levine's back who knows the little scary thought there for him [Music] yeah that's a little bit of a scary lyric maybe i don't know i feel like they're trying to do the same thing sting and the police did with uh every move you make thing just like a stalker song but yeah i also like when i've heard that song just the adam levine room five song i've always felt it just sounds like i'm coming for you baby you're so hot or whatever but you can't hide from me you're too hot but maybe it is a scary song i don't know probably yes okay next up we got tom waits's what's he building this song with a spoken word feel is not to be listened to alone in the dark so please listen to it it's keep close to you and your mind and all this stuff but i have to agree that was kind of creepy sam you gotta get that neediness checked because you should let them leave if they want okay think about it next we have eminem's kim this song's topic is disturbing worn sensitive viewers okay so this is joel from the future it's about domestic abuse so keep that in mind if you don't like that american rapper eminem which appears on his 2000 album the martial matters lp the song reflects intense anger and hatred towards his then wife kim mathers and features eminem imitating her voice and ends with him killing him and latin putting her in the trunk of his car he wrote it along with 97 bonnie and clyde when he and kim were having martial problems and kim was preventing him from seeing his daughter haley despite its controversial graphic content is often highlighted as one of eminem's most memorable songs yeah i can see that it's fascinating to like kind of let your darkest desires or darkest impulses out in a song but you wouldn't do it in real life you can't like still living that out or fantasizing about it in a song it's interesting and messed up obviously let's move on i'm back i don't have much faith in you joel so i assumed you failed the last test as well since i'm really really nice i'm gonna give you one last chance to avoid the frankie teardrop challenge for me i'm about to play you a short clip from a 52 minute long record this solo project was made by one of the most famous musicians of all time after listening to the clip you have 10 seconds to guess who made this hellscape of a recording [Music] [Applause] i'm going to say it was david bowie is it bowie is it bowie oh people always get mad but i said that wrong anyway i'm going to say it's him john lennon oh yeah that makes sense john and joker released a series of incredibly bizarre albums as the beatles won down but while two virgins and wedding album at least had some slight levity at times going to do the frankie teardrop challenge since it's not a good idea to go outside right now do it in your studio with a blindfold on that way you can focus on the sound and feel the isolation and
