[Music] what's going on guys welcome back to the channel in today's video we're gonna be back to work on our mclaren 720s as you guys see in the previous video we got both of our doors saved which saved us over like five thousand dollars those doors are super expensive and we did go ahead and put the passenger side on and it turned out absolutely perfect check that out it's lined up beautifully this fender is kind of unscrewed because i just put it on there but check that out the gap looks absolutely perfect everything turned out amazing and the driver one turned out pretty good too we will have to still cut the hole in for the mirror which we will be doing that later but while we were doing all the sanding on the doors we did have a little bit more parts come in we actually got an airbag right here came all the way from the uk and they didn't have one of the leather ones our airbag was all leather right here but they did have an alcantara one so we went ahead and picked that up and i think it's going to match the dashboard really nice and it should go together pretty good and then we also got our coolers these are both side coolers that go on here you guys remember we did get all the plastics for the coolers there are back there but we are still waiting on the front frame rails and then we do have a rim also this also came from the uk it was like 1200 which isn't too bad but we are still waiting on those frame rails and once those come in we can go ahead and install all these coolers install everything up here because that's kind of what we're lacking like i could probably just take these brackets off our new frame rolls but i'd rather just put the entire new ones on there and we could probably use these for the other tub in today's video i really want to focus on getting this quarter panel primed in as you guys seen in the previous episode we pretty much had it all sanded we just had to add a little bit of filler work on there but it turned out pretty good so all we need to do today is basically sand this down shouldn't take too long get it in the paint booth and we also need to prime the rear bumper and the passenger side quarter panel shouldn't take too long so let's get straight to work so the first thing we're gonna do is basically just go ahead and sand these little spots that we added on and we'll send the entire quarter panel and put it in the paint booth and get it primed in come on buck we got work to do buck so [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] hmm [Music] [Music] [Music] so we got this entire quarter panel sanded it really didn't need much sanding we just had to sand up a little spot but it turned out really good we went ahead and did a little spray test with our wax and grease remover everything looks good now what we need to do is go ahead and pull that rear bumper off stand it up a little bit and now be also ready for primer here's the bumper right here we pretty much have it all sanded out i think it needs a little bit of filler in a couple of spots let's go ahead and take it off and get it sanded too so the only thing this bumper needs is actually one thin layer of glaze because i need to make this line a little bit sharper right here and a little bit sharper exactly how it is on this side i didn't think it was that sharp but you can see this line is pretty sharp and this one is awesome so i'm gonna go ahead and mix up some glaze throw another cut over there and sand it down [Music] foreign [Music] oh [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh [Music] so we got this bumper all sanded out and we made this line a bit sharper exactly how it is over there this gave me a little bit of trouble right here but we got it all out everything is nice and smooth and now all we need to do is take the bumper and both quarter panels into the paint booth and get them primed in look at all the parts in the paint booth now all we need to do is wipe them all down mix up some primer and spray them in and this is gonna be finally all the parts that we need to do any body work on [Music] [Music] do [Music] [Music] [Music] so we got the primer mixed up this is the same exact stuff we were using yesterday and let's go ahead and spray everything in [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so now that we have all the panels nice and primed and everything laid down pretty flat the bodywork looks pretty good too we also are going to block everything out we're going to wait for this to dry so grab some popcorn and enjoy so it's been a couple of days all the primer on the cart is nice and dry this came out beautifully and in the previous video we went ahead and primed in both doors now right now what i want to go ahead and start doing is basically wet sanding the entire car getting it ready for paint we also have to take off a couple of pieces like this a little brace right here that holds the door over here and then in the front end we do need to take off these vents off the hood they are the carbon fiber ones and we gotta take the vents off take the front emblem off and pretty much that's gonna be it i think well pretty much everything on the bottom is already taken off because that's how we bought it and on the front bumper we are going to remove this splitter right here and these little headlight bezels and i'm thinking i'm going to paint all this stuff black you can see it's kind of like a dark gray which i kind of don't really like that so i'm pretty sure we'll probably sand those down too and get all that painted in black but that's pretty much it and there is a vent right here on the side we're going to paint all that black i think it's going to look really good but we are also going to paint all the rims black we're probably getting powder coated or something like that and on the driver door we are also going to have to cut a mirror hole right here and the cool thing is we do have that other door so we can make a template out of paper and just put it on here and cut a perfect hole out and everything should line up but man this door turned out really good there's a couple of pinholes in the primer we are gonna have to fix that up just a little bit of putty but it turned out amazing especially inside here it was a really difficult repair because buck is kind of barking right now and he needs to stop sir we'll feed you later but it was a really difficult repair especially in here just a weird standing angle but everything turned out pretty good so now let's just go ahead and start sanding everything so the first thing we're gonna go ahead and do is take this entire bunker report we're gonna take the splitter off and these headlight bezels [Music] so we got both bezels off man let me tell you guys these things are a paint in the butt to get off but we got everything off without breaking any of the clips or anything on there now let's get this diffuser off and it'll be ready to start sanding [Music] so [Music] so we got all the parts stripped down off the mclaren front bumper right here this front bezel was pretty hard to take off but we got both sides off without breaking any of the tabs we also got this front splitter off and we just tripped down the hood too we got all this off check that out we got the vents off so now pretty much all we have to do is just go ahead and get everything sanded i know the sanding is like the worst part of uh any build it just takes forever but we're almost done all we need to do is sand these parts and it's gonna be ready for paint so we're gonna go ahead and start sanding these parts i'm gonna start off with the front bumper there's no dents or scratches on this thing so big shout out to first shirt hook this up with a pretty good looking front bumper and then after we sand this bumper we'll move on to the rear bumper and basically just continue sanding the whole car [Music] [Music] [Music] oh [Music] thank you [Music] thank you [Music] [Music] [Music] so we did a little bit of sanding we went ahead and sanded the hood the both front and rear bumpers and honestly guys we're not going to sand the rear quarter panels on camera i'll just do all that off camera because i know it's kind of a lot of sanding for you guys and you guys are probably getting bored of that but we do have some good news check this out we got both frame rails and the front reinforcement bar finally came in so we pretty much have all the parts right now to get this car running on the road like we're gonna have to take these rails off probably even drop the subframe back down and once we do that we can also put on the tire rod the shock put all this stuff on over here and this thing will be basically on the road so that's gonna be super exciting for next video we also got the rim and the tire we can put that on and we're gonna try to test drive this thing in the next video so stay tuned for that so guys i'm super excited finally we're gonna be able to get this thing on the road this is the last video with all the sanding all the body work is done once we get all that wet sanded we can go ahead and get this car or all the pieces in the paint booth cool thing is we're not actually going to put the car in the paint booth we'll just put all the pieces the only thing we have to take off now off the cart is the doors get all that painted in so if you guys enjoyed today's video go ahead and hit that subscribe
