today is we're watching the matrix yeah first one i'm so excited yeah i i'm really looking forward to this because it obviously it's one of those super famous popular movies that everybody references and everybody knows about yeah um and it's again one of those films where the first time i watched it as a young teen i didn't understand it because oh okay okay language barrier right i had no idea i don't know because i remember it was just a lot of people talking really moody but i didn't know what they were saying i didn't really get it because they were talking if i recall kind of vague okay or like using a lot of metaphor metaphors which like just went right over my head you know oh barrier problems yeah yeah and it made no sense to me so all right well you're trying again again um i'm on a mission to actually watch all of um keanu reeves movies right because i do i i love him because he is such an amazing human support fellow canadians that's the word kiana rooves is canadian you found all the energy they would ever need where human beings are no longer born we are grown watch them liquefy the dead so they could be fed intravenously to the living humans are batteries but we make terrible batteries into this easy neo the guy with the glasses said that like he doesn't know who shot first or whatever so it's like there's a war between the ai and yeah or there was and then the ai-1 as long as the matrix exists the human race will never be free those i don't think anybody else watching this knows but i work and develop ai and uh yeah they're not gonna take over the amount of training for it to just recognize a dog as a dog and a cat as a cat is ridiculous let's do something a little more fun how about combat training what does this say it said um jiu-jitsu i'm going to learn jiu-jitsu wait so they're like uploading yeah things 10 hours straight he's a machine yeah that must be crazy though to be like um oh save so much time oh yeah i know kung fu what you must learn is that these rules are no different than the rules of a computer system then hit me if you can but kung fu just really means doing something over and over again until you're really good at it so you can literally just have kung fu of doing laundry or comfortable making food oh that's that's nifty okay so that's why she could do crazy [ __ ] is that like it was a program uploaded right plugged into the matrix but still yeah i don't know like and maybe that's why she's called the oracle and because she's like just powerful yeah well that's what i'm trying to figure out because oracle means foresee the future yeah instead only try to realize the truth there is no spoon it's like people who innately have the ability to see through the the fake world smell good don't they and don't worry about the days wait is she an oracle because the simulation is created and the simulation is written and her brain is powerful enough to see what's next in the program does that make sense does that mean is that right would you still have broken it if i hadn't said it so maybe like everybody just has story lines and she knows them somehow i i don't know i don't know if anything i said made perfect first world where none suffered i believe that as a species human beings define their reality through misery and suffering which is why the matrix was redesigned to this the peak of your civilization 1999. you know what's crazy though if like this movie came out in 1999 it's like y2k when everyone thought that the computers weren't gonna like roll over and work yeah that's a great year to release this movie the future is our time so maybe that's why the oracle can see the future because he said the agents at the first matrix right so maybe the oracle is somebody who survived the redesign of the matrix several times what do they want the leader of every ship is given codes to scion's mainframe computer well there has to be something that we can do there is we pull up oh that's his choice so they need a plug never send a human to do a machine's job in either case we have no choice but to continuous plan to deploy the sentinels they've got morpheus in a military-controlled building even if you somehow got inside those are agents holding them human beings are a disease a cancer of this planet you're a plague and we are the cure lots of guns that's two money guns zoo this prison this reality whatever you want to call it i can't stand it any longer it's the smell you're stink every time i do i fear that i've somehow been infected by it wow he is terrifying oh god oh his eyes once zion is destroyed there is no need for me to be here do you understand oh [ __ ] so like the sentient programs are stuck in the matrix trying to yeah clean it up and they're like prisoners just like who's changed oh okay so here's my thing is how in the matrix and of all these guards and the cops and people how many of them are attached to living people in pods in the real world i would imagine those all are right oh i love her outfits yeah and his too oh man oh you know what no cancel that the people that are in this building are probably all um sentient thing programs because this is the building that morpheus is in right but then why not every single one of them just be you know these swat teams or agents why did they have like those kind of bumbling guards at the front right um okay maybe the the guards wearing the white were real people but all these guys aren't so they're only killing a few people yeah only [Music] it's got style i'll say that i really like it i feel like i need to acquire an outfit like that oh i definitely recognize this yeah i've seen this image before oh [ __ ] ow dodge this oh my god the stage where they're like not quite in there but the eyes and mouth go black that's so terrifying [Applause] oh no no yeah no that's that's a real 100 there's no way in 99 they can do graphics that real that's 100 real stunned that's not that's you know that's green screen but yeah those other shots are you serious 100 oh man i need to show you some old jackie chan movies or crazy stunts oh okay okay okay um yeah on patreon squids but they've got like a bunch of eyes like spiders do [Music] so creepy oh my god they're just tearing it apart oh he got shot oh my god but there's two more movies is it like speed two where keanu's not in the sequels it better not be speed two he's gone i feel like everyone's dead like what are they gonna do against those guys the oracle told me that i would fall in love you can't be dead i love you [Music] no just says no that is amazing he is the one oh so he sees the code underneath then he can change it at will yeah or i don't know or just he knows what yeah neos found the console commands maybe he needed to die to like get to this [Music] oh god oh i see what happened okay where's that that's an emp i didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end i came here to tell you how it's going to begin i'm going to show them a world without you whoa okay so it's like he's calling everyone else in the world or something and it's gonna free the world [Music] wait i'm just trying to think of all the fight scenes oh the fights were amazing i really i yeah i get why they were all referenced all the time right um they were very very stylized yeah yeah well everything in this movie stylized from yeah yeah green there was like so much slo-mo used i mean for obvious reasons because like apparently he can pick bullets um and what so now so now he can just like warp the matrix around himself so he flies everywhere well okay yeah i mean there's there's two movies after this so it seems like the agents are no longer a problem for him right so yeah because he just dispense all of them in the next movie and then the rest of it is just outside robot fighting i mean i guess we'll have to find out yeah well cause like um his ability inside the matrix does it carry outside does it carry over right once he's not in the matrix he's just a dude yeah i wonder oh my god yeah that's if he's not giant robots outside yeah if he's not plugged in he doesn't know jujitsu right because it's a program no no i think the program is maybe like literally downloading knowledge to your brain but only your matrix brain not your human in the real are they not the same oh they're not the same thing i don't know i don't know [Laughter] either way that was so much fun oh my god yeah no for sure for sure also i just like seeing seeing the outfits i like the outfits anyway
