I just couldn't stop watching you longer broken-hearted so glad I came here [Applause] [Music] God would I can see that you want me come over to me [Music] you've got that some dance with that don't come easily is what I need [Applause] [Music] [Applause] this is what [Applause] this is what we got [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Wow our hero was all excited and vibing then you turn around George I wanted my first round with Delta obviously and I know I hear that I heard the nerves in your voice obviously I'd love to know about your singing life and what how long you've been doing this I'm just in Tukwila sana I'm 24 years old and I'm from the Sutherland Shire in Sydney I've been singing since I was seven dancing since I was even younger I went to a performing arts high school for my senior schooling I've been trying to work really hard to make a career out of music there's been a lot of opportunities where I've felt like I've been so close and then something doesn't work out been told by people that you know oh you're gonna go you're gonna be a star as they all say but yeah it's sometimes there's a lot of empty promises in the industry and it's it's hard to take at times we've been better and watch to get really down about this so it's really hard for us to to try and inspire her again and get it a picker self up and just keep on going you know I've put a little bit of a deadline on myself in terms of having a recording artist career you know I'm almost in my mid-20s so I feel like it needs to happen sort of soon I want to buy a house I want to have somewhere to live in the future yeah the entertainment industry is an emotional roller coaster and you know she's human like like the rest of us I do have self doubts and is my voice unique enough there's so many cool people out there like people with the coolest voices and they have the coolest tones and I'm I don't know if I'm like that I don't know if there's something special about my voice so if someone turned it that would be great because hopefully that would mean there is I've been singing for a really long time I've gone through a lot and I really just wanted to come here today just to see if I can give it a shot and see how I go and that you did you know you got everybody [Applause] Neffe I mean whatever your highs and lows are I would love to be able to talk through that because we've all gone through ups and downs you know right now we've bounced stuff we're about to have a fantastic journey together oh really [Laughter] what would you have done had no one turns their chair I kind of gave myself a little bit of an ultimatum I feel like I'm 24 I'm kind of on that 24 you're a baby no I feel like to be a recording artist there's just so many amazing young people coming out of nowhere really and I just feel like to be recording artists and to put out the music that I would want to put out never underestimate experience totally being young is great experience is also important and how you become a better artist is through experience there are no rules anymore you know what I mean like we live in a different time where actually the listener the person who loves music the most is making the rules and I think that that's such a powerful time in music like we're in an age of social media and shows like the voice exists and artists like yourself come here and showcase your talent that's the state of music that we live in today and it's exciting and it's vibrant I think that what what we would need to do as coaches is to kind of really encourage your confidence and make you realize that you have a chance but the good news is you're through that's the best bit yeah ultimately the decision is yours no pressure I want to thank both of you so much for turning but I think I'm gonna go with Delta my first knock out group is to Center Michaela and Amy this is a very strong female knock out feel like we're all so different like it's gonna be really really interesting to watch you very much are the three of you a very different artist you've all got your own space so it's all about being the best version of you the theme I've chosen for you all is pink so artists with the great authenticity which is a strong woman that's what I want with you three Jacinda I'm gonna start with you I have worried and struggled and have self doubts about how interesting my voice is to listen to and as soon as I walked into the knockout room all those insecurities flooded back in what about us because I'm scared why are you feeling emotional what is it I'm just feeling the pressure I like I'm feeling nervous about being up against these guys as well because we've all got different tones 12 voice and like you have to break through this because I need you to face yourself yeah I need you to face everything about yourself and it's gonna hurt the only way to get you to fly is by facing facing every single little thing that makes you cry just Center I get what she's saying about her voice but I also know that she's a unique individual thank you so pretty it's you know it's a knockout round and I can't be emotional I need to trust him myself that will be my biggest hurdle [Music] nice we can see in my time [Music] it's pointed up at the stars [Music] what about all the time you said you had the [Music] [Music] [Music] the person I'd like to take through is somebody that I really want to mentor and I really have a connection to I think that we could do great things and that's just in time for her first battle Delta has paired her two remaining female artists Jacinta Golisano and summer Smith we'd only two public performances - her name summer was one of the most impressive artists at the Knockouts and there is not as many women in this season as what we would have thought so you got to do it for the girls the two of you Jacinta has one of the strongest female voices left in the competition but it's her self-doubt that could prove to be her weakness you have to break through this because I need you to face yourself yeah when you see be committed to the song be committed to when you're singing Jacinta has the work ethic the look the voice but going into the lives you've got to have confidence you've got something to prove something to show Delta has said that she needs to see me believing in myself and I think if I can do that I can be that only girl on Delta's team similars I've got my two ladies I need a song by an epic diva yes so I chose Whitney Houston's how learner [Applause] it's also gonna be a little bit more of a ballad version I've rearranged table I know because I want them to be able to find their own space in it there's a ball no he's the world and I need to know that I'm taking a female singer that's also an artist my ID takes me to the clouds up I'm nervous to face summer her voice is amazing and I really get in my head and I do compare myself to other people this is literally like my worst nightmare What's Wrong nothing nothing I'm good it's hard it's hard it's hard to go up against uh no you're just very good are you kidding it's amazing I was just like fool getting into that knew that you actually killed it I do worry my voice isn't unique and I've struggled with the thought of whether I'm good enough if you compare yourself to anybody else you may as well walk out I don't ever want Delta to think that I'm ungrateful yes you're both girls you're both got beautiful faces gorgeous voices that's about it the DNA of what makes you special is totally different from each other everyone's amazing here everyone can sing and it's scary what makes you great is not what makes summer grow what makes summer great is no what makes you great even though you're in a battle you cannot look at each other as if this is your competition because let me tell you there's a bigger competition at hand and that's within yourself I don't know yet if just syndecan rise to the occasion I believe it in my heart she can but she has to show me [Music] there's a boy I know he's the one that dream mom oh my god I love this already oops my ID takes to the clouds up [Music] ah can't get me [Music] helos me know [Music] [Applause] the person I'm gonna be taking through two lives the person who is dedicated and I believe people will just fall in love with her and that's just simple I'm so excited that I'm here I'm done with the crying I just want to really enjoy every moment so this is like a celebration for me so I'm really I do like to have a little bit of a cry I have a lot of feelings but now I'm just gonna tell myself just have fun and enjoy it because this is gonna last forever I've chosen end of time by Beyonce the key to this song is confidence which is a huge thing that I obviously struggle with but I think that's why Delta's given me this challenge how would you feel if we took out that chorus and did a dance break scary I'm nervous about dancing I'm not gonna lie I'm so scared I could fall over if they put me in heels that wonderful we're gonna I'm choreographing the performance that's right Australia Delta had ice cramping skills I loved it I'm really are you just showing up there you've got all the Congress we're singing dancing at the same time it's you look like a true pop star up there you look like an absolute star superstar and team Delta all of you are safe tonight the lives is all about timing you run to perfection every single dance moves that I taught you was really on point yeah and just Center is now on everyone's radar in a good way what do you think we want to do this week I don't know a salute as well I've chosen some code for you I read it aura and lanes I love this song all right let's have a go beautiful Justin just got a huge challenge this week I'm giving her an up-tempo pop song but I'm asking her to slow it down and make it a believable ballad what do you think I'm gonna say to you right now I need to feel it I'll connect to it connection yeah the first step to connecting is keeping those beautiful eyes open if you are pushing through your face yeah it's not actually working for you yeah I mean yeah like if you proud of my performance but a little bit disappointed to find myself in the bottom two how do you think they just sent to the walks through the blinds would have handled last week oh the old Jacinta would have definitely probably broken down all the doubts would have come flooding back in I would have thought not good enough um but I I'm proud of the way I handled it I'm glad because I I'm so excited to stay the course I don't want the old Jacinta creeping in this week I want to have fun yep shake it off by Taylor Swift we are gonna have so much fun shaking it off let's have a go my concerns are completely letting go I put up some walls I'm nervous about how I'm gonna be viewed i I need it to feel effortless free fine we need to loosen up a bit okay so come with me come with me Jacinta was really stiff when we started seeing this song I've got a surprise we're gonna have some fun I really need to send it to just shake it off and have fun so I'm gonna take it to a dancing lesson to do that with a slight twist I'm taking Jacinta to retro sweat I found out that we were doing an 80s retro class immediately I just worried about what people gonna think and that was I think Joker's quick she wants me to not care about what other people think so it looks like this we go front back side going into live show 3 I've just got to relax enjoy myself just have fun [Applause] ended up in the bottom two do you think she can avoid the double elimination this week I hope so because she deserves that that was a great performance really well done we were shocked last week and your sing off was unbelievable and it provides supposed to be here good work Delta you actually thought your Center should have been in the top two not the bottom two I did I feel like I'm hoping that this week people will get their phones out and vote for our beautiful girl because she just such a superstar hard worker and I'm so proud of the journey that run together we talk so much through this you know each week and last week it was a real it was a real oh goodness okay well we just got to shake it off have fun and go out there and just you know just entertain everyone and give them a lot of love and I think that I'm so proud that the old jacinto who I first met would have would have really broken he came back tougher and when you get knocked down you get back up and you go out even hard and that's what you did tonight and the third artist singing off tonight is also from Team Delta and is Jacinta I'm nervous knowing that I am innocent between two other artists it's a whole extra amount of pressure tonight I'm singing the winner takes it all by ABBA because I feel like my whole life I've been the person who is always just miss out and I want to be that winner for once I don't want to talk about the things we've come to though it's hurting me no history no tax [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] the first artist who did not secure enough votes
