I'm gonna be perfectly honest
I never realised Legally Blonde was a play on legally blind either
Mario party: the movie 6
Oh man, I've so been looking forward to another absurdly long Mario Party with this crew.
EDIT: Freeze Frame is J. Geils Band, Meg is probably thinking Duran Duran did that because of their song Girls On Film.
The moral of this story is the same as always.
Gavin is Gavin's worst enemy.
It's a tale as old as time, the fools think they can accomplish the impossible and get burned by their own hubris.
Fucking hell lol, I've fallen off AH a bit so I don't know if this was hyped up and announced, what an awesome thing to find in my sub box
When I saw it was Mario Party 6, I knew there were only two possible outcomes.
Michael wins.
Michael loses because a miracle takes his stars.
I was wrong.
There is another.
This was some good shit. I guess I'm in the minority because I do see comments whining that Michael shouldn't be in these because he's too good, but honestly this is exactly why it's fun that he is. I always root for him anyway, and I thought some of the early-game "gang up on Michael in last place because he's Michael" was pretty ridiculous, but you can't tell me that the energy would have been anywhere as high if anyone but Michael had those stars swapped to them. The dynamic of "we need to team up to catch him, but I'm going to keep pulling you down a little so that I'm the one who catches him" is what makes Mario Party, and that dynamic wouldn't have been there if Michael hadn't gotten those stars.
By the way, if anyone's still hungry for Mario Party content you should check out Ray doing a tournament playing through all the many Mario Parties with ChilledChaos, ZeRoyalViking, and Aplatypuss. They're playing several games in each edition and keeping track of each person's stars earned (with the winner of each game getting a bonus star) so there are some interesting plays based on bringing someone else's star count down or getting stars even if it wouldn't win the game, because it improves the tournament overall. Ray is the Michael of the group, naturally.
Great, they're back to doing ad reads for upstart.
