The last of us update 1.1.3 now compatible with fsr 3 mod AMD /NVIDIA (uniscaler),mod+ guide

hey everyone welcome back on the channel welcome back to another uh EP 3 update video we're back with Last of Us version 1.1.3 so as many of you know that this patch 1.1.3 brings official episod 3 support in this game but that is Another Story Another M CU like if you enable the frame generation from the setting like I have activated sub three uh quality and with frame generation the frame rate will show you that it's boosting but the input latency and the smoothness of the game will remain the same like uh it's running on like 30 FPS or something like even if you use dlss and quality without the frame generation the input lag will be better than this one so yeah we have uh fixed this uh with the new mod called un scaler or uni scaler whatever you say uh so yeah I'm trying to keep this video as short as possible but first i'm just showing you the frame time graph look at the frame time graph at uh this corner and also you can notice the jitteriness and lagginess in the video too if you are playing on like 1440p or 1080p quality so yeah let's fix this I'm not going to show you the dlss gameplay CU When I switch to dlss the game just crashes on itself so yeah uh so first we'll be needing this ZIP uh you can find it on my Discord onare for t now don't skip the video uh we got few things to talk about uh so if you skip this tutorial part don't say me later that the mod is not working so first we're going to extract the mod into the desktop where is it there now after opening uh you will see two folder we don't need to maybe read these two you will see two folder one is St nvx and one is UN scalar mode so basically you will be needing this un scalar mode uh this is just an optional nbx like if you are an AMD card user and after pasting the mod you are facing crashing issue only then paste this NV GX and run the enable signature override uh so yeah keep that in mind on NV on amdgpu but if you are on like uh Nvidia GPU I think the nvx will be needed or won't be needed so yeah let's begin with the tutorial uh so first we're going to copy everything inside the UN scalar mode not C copy okay after copying we're going to go to the installation directory of T my hard disk and ssds are getting full uh so yeah after that we're going to go to the installation directory and now uh while inside the directory where the launcher and T is located we're going to paste everything right here now after testing uh there is no need to edit any tweak or anything cuz by default we will be using FS 3 and Fs 3 is compatible with like most of the graphics card so yeah we're just going to run the game and see how the mod works so it will take a little uh more time uh rather than usual like other mod will start the game instantly but in this mod it will take a little bit time there like 10 to 15 seconds okay we're back in the game and uh you can already uh see the smoothness I don't know if you can see it in the video but I can already feel the smoothness uh in the game so yeah it's fully working I have to say but also I will talk about few things uh so don't skip the video just yet uh like uh I will try to switch I don't know if the game will crash upon itself or not if the game crashes I'll restart the game and uh resume from that position so right now we are using the FSA 3 quality with the frame generation and it's very smooth you can also use the ntl ising tool like if you disable the FSR 3 super resolution uh and you just use the anti lasing to uh Native FSR 3A with that frame generation on you can use this mod to wait if that crashes I'll restart okay the game did not crash that's a very good thing uh so we are back in the game and this is the best setting for the like quality with performance like you will get a little bit lower FPS uh like uh 80 70 to 80 but the quality will be uh very like higher like you can see that railing that was flickering earlier but I'll show you like if we use the where is it if we use the fs3 quality mode there if you use the fs3 quality mode with the frame generation you can see that this railings are little bit flickering over there I don't know if that game capture can show you uh but yeah it's a little bit flickering over there but if you use native FSF 3 aning uh that is the flicker is now gone and it's super stable like it's native you know so native is always better than FSR and dlss in terms of image quality so yeah you can use uh both like FSR 3 um Quality or whichever you choose or you can also use the uh what do you say the native uh FSR 3 upscaler like native F 3 aning and with that frame generation but with dlss you won't be able to use the frame generation uh if I switch to dlss the game will crash so yeah I'm not switching right now I'm just showing you showing you this uh two options so yeah do try this and let me know uh how is the performance and how is the input latency for me it's super smooth like no lag uh here and there and it's very smooth this folder go to The Last of Us installation directory uh where is it there uh and in here you need to test everything and then you need to run the enable signature driver override and click on okay
