you saw the qz was gone yes right so you can ascertain that like these people are from that QC they kind of took over fedra doctor was obviously part of not federal but he was on like the government side of things so that lady's brother got Beat to Death okay by fedra and she's mad about that looking forward and it's because that people were snitching on each other now why they were killing them were they I don't know I don't know what the connection so so Henry what they're looking for Henry yes Henry snitched on the brother I guess which we don't know if that's because they got beat to death and so Kathleen's looking for Revenge killing doctors yeah she's a perfect like I'm sorry she seems like a typical Karen well I think it's because it was in the line where he was like if they're not federal if they're not mercenaries like who are they and he was just like people like it's just she's just a regular Lady it's weird she has so much power yeah how did she rally everybody when they're in the forest like he also said people to like Ellie he's like what are we afraid of here people yeah um yeah the number two guy with the beard and the gun and [ __ ] I understand that well I'm guessing from the show he's just a soldier who's taking orders and [ __ ] but I'm like there's apparently a giant [ __ ] Goomba toad mushroom up under the city right now and I feel like yeah that's priority number one I don't give two entire [ __ ] about finding Henry for your [ __ ] revenge like we got to eat we got people protecting [ __ ] like if you're gonna be a leader I and I know that he they got a structure I assume but like I don't know she [ __ ] up hard I think he sorry just on that he seems really loyal to her so she's done something to win these people's respect right and obviously if they were the cattle before and now they are the then bomb the building if that's your people like that's yeah they might not be Feast board now I'm just saying that he looks like apprehensive of the decisions that she's making still so he might say something but she's done something to earn the rest yeah I hope they do go into that because like I I'm sure I'll have returned to hope you know I'm sure all of these people have like lost somebody so yeah I would also be going was like hey sorry about your brother but also my entire family's dead so I don't really give up well but I think that also the Revenge might be a uniting factor for them because they probably all lost somebody to fedra yeah but then I don't know so do we I don't know if I trust her side of the story like I need to hear from Henry and Sam what happened because now that he's a black dude and it's Black History Month I thought about it right away like was Henry the kid or the dad because she said Sam's not gonna let Henry starve oh no she said Henry's not gonna let Sam even if it's the worst case and like if let's say like when Federer was in charge before I'm assuming Kathleen led a resistance to overturn them Sam was on their side or Henry sorry Henry is on their side and I'm assuming he had to wrap them out because the bad people were literally gonna like kill Sam or something yeah and like I don't know you know what I mean like it's probably not a morally it's probably a morally gray situation like you rather them out but does he deserve a dive for that no I played this so long ago I completely forgot about these two characters I I honestly did too for a while yeah this is exciting but yeah killing a doctor bad move yeah yeah yeah yeah especially because for her she was like in the dark to help him ah it was very short-sighted thinking because the implication was if the doctor can't help him right now the doctor is not abused it's like seriousness ma'am ladies the doctor will be valuable later right that would be a really interesting dynamic in an apocalyptic show if they had to keep a doctor alive and he was a complete piece of [ __ ] but he would like keep them alive too because he needs them to protect him like keeping just just keeping a doctor alive because he's a doctor he's an actual doctor like doctor we can teach it to other people and he's like no but you have to yeah to teach on his skills there's no like there's no Med schools like just a completely evil dude that everybody wants dead but they can't because he's the only I mean the surgery spoilers for breaking bad but I think but I think people's tolerance for getting around that people's tolerance for [ __ ] in the apocalypse like supersedes The Logical need to have that person stay around I think it's like well we're just gonna shoot you because you're you're just a huge dick I'm not gonna deal with this right now yeah people are more feral in Apocalypse in the in the game you know you've seen that show uh the cop in that the you know the black cop he played Henry in the game okay say that I'm kind of sad that we didn't get more tests I feel like they killed her off too soon because like I remember back like how emotionally impactful like Bill and Frank was and it seems that for Joel Tess was like a very important person in his life and like I'm looking back at episode two and I'm just kind of like this didn't affect me whatsoever yeah and now that I'm learning you know from just like stories like who she was and how important she was to Joel I don't know I wish I just wish that they kept her around for longer because I think that the loss would be much more impactful that's Idaho hope we get like a flashback or something yeah yeah they have a good opportunity now that we're getting two parts with this story I think they have a good opportunity to do that that's kind of how it goes in the game too like you don't have a whole lot of time with her but then they kind of but like with Mark I was saying like I do feel you're saying wish we did have more test time because I I felt like that initially but what I felt like I'm learning now is when um when Joel said bye to test like not bombing they didn't like hug or kiss or anything she's like exactly you just the spirit right I think with these flashbacks they're trying to show us that like they both are mentally and been preparing for these moments and stuff and there's like it's not a dire and this is that like I still wish she hugged her kissed her or something like it's just that serious super glad that he didn't do either one of those things yeah I feel like what one she was infected so we should be worried about that but two we're implying like anime time and I think if someone was like they're gonna be here in a minute and then they're actually here in a minute that for me it makes the dire situations in any the story actually dire anytime anybody in anime is like the bomb's gonna hit in 30 seconds you know what I mean but that did give me that word and it is sad emotionally that they weren't able to make that like uh you know to say their goodbyes but I think that that also like is kind of the point is that and then like you know I think that when he gets to like Frank and Bill like it's gonna hit him harder yeah even though he's not gonna obviously talk about it that they got to say their goodbyes and they got to essentially have the most romanticized death in the apocalypse you could ask for and him and tests were never gonna have that chance because the healing tests were just like they're really just like Fighters and stuff I mean just but they were prepared for 13 years yeah it's a 13-year relationship I uh I think it's purposeful in the way how abrupt it was first off because you said it's more realistic but a 13-year relationship you know like would you say bye to Marketa in that way even if it made the most sense to get the [ __ ] out he didn't want to show anything because like right you throw yourself in Courtney apocalypse I wouldn't just abruptly say bye even if it were the logical thing to do and people were at the door I would have one moment but like Joel refused to do that so I think it's just showing and how abrupt chess as a character was is showing us the point of view kind of of Joel just not wanting to deal with it because you're saying goodbye that's 30 seconds you have to run out of the building before the building I think it was in the look because of two words if you live in a world like this I am and if you did what Tess and Joel did I'm sure you've had this conversation yeah something for Preparation and I'm sure every single day they tell each other like you you know it's I had a look you're right it's an unspoken thing where it's like any day we could die so like I'll be damned if in the apocalypse I turn and then I kill you like no you gotta go yeah like it's gonna be [ __ ] up I wasn't complaining about like how test went out necessarily I think that was well done yeah what yeah this was good uh we live in the midwest so a good old road trip really home um I do enjoy their Dynamic together and how it's building I think that they're doing a really good job at kind of setting it up slowly over time and I like that he was like I understand we know that Jones killed innocent people and like yeah it's shitty it's the apocalypse I feel like he played the fifth he played through if he would have said yes it wouldn't have been as loud as him saying exactly what he said was just the most definite but like I mean that [ __ ] weighs on him and he's like it's unfortunate that you have to deal with that as a kid and like she was like does it get easier and he's like no and I do think that if you allow it to get easier that like it just turned you into like you know you start losing your Humanity this uh for sure when when they arrive at the bridge and they saw that it was barricaded like that that was not a coincidental just wreckage there it was better yeah like I feel like seeing that you should have just kind of found like a detour around the city but you remember because you know that's right yeah so probably I mean then I mean there's no way you can if there's people in there then then there's no gas do you think they would have done something like I know in the game he says he ain't even hurt and runs him over but do you think this group would have done something to him they seem to have some uniformity in the game they're like it seems crazy enough that she'd be like where is the burnt bodies in Boston that was the protocol that's true but like this was like out in the street and it seemed more it might just be that how they like that that's true yeah like Hey we're gonna I don't want to your head bring you in who are you but they let with their they LED with dishonesty and that's the reason why off the bat like we're already in the [ __ ] you didn't have to homie didn't have to do the whole fake like if they would have came up and be like hey hey hey hey like guns down like we're just here to talk like figure some [ __ ] out yeah I think they had a lead with that lead with waving a white flag instead of yeah oh my God I'm hurt I can't trust you do anything else that's it thank you thank you well I'm hurt oh yeah oh yeah they were pretty ready you're checking the cinder blocks and also Joel was on the other side of that too he's in the same thing killed innocent people like he told Ellie like you in the pot like I'm Joe I'm sorry I'm them I'm not gonna like stop and whatever I'm gonna start shooting I don't trust you you know the fifth on that one also Brian bro Brian's death I'm so sorry like that whole thing first she stabs him he's like he's like starts calling for his mom to start saying I'm Brian he's I'm like oh God he put a name on him I'm like stop that's another thing they do really well in the game is the NPC dialogue yeah like they're not just random people dying they'll just like one person will die and he's like me yeah so they even got the NPC dialogue down [ __ ] I have said this before and I will say it again if we are doing gang [ __ ] and you die I will be sad later but I will probably not be upset in a moment yeah our job is to do gang [ __ ] we're shooting at other people you get shot I'll be like we're gonna we're gonna take care of that emotionally later but right now I want to mention uh two more things uh one I really really love the visual storytelling in uh Henry's Hideout like with all the drawings super dope and then the whole uh I want to talk about Ellie's gun Arc it's it's that classic story of like a parent being like don't do that because I because I said so but then the kid's gonna do it anyways and now the kid is gonna do that thing and keep it a secret from me because you said don't do it instead of like had he just been like honest or like he could have just been like you can't hold a gun but I will prepare you for it you know like here's how you use it like he could have done that ahead of time it's just like you can't tell the kid no they're gonna do it and so that's a gun you might as well be honest with them because if they're gonna do it and keep it a secret then that's how people that's how people but it is the apocalypse he don't know her he don't know her capabilities as a child give away their position all that it's like different rules out here that's true but also he doesn't have tests anymore like he's always had that person to watch his back and now he's gonna have to start trusting Ellie they're traveling to the West Side Wyoming is so long and empty already bro I feel bad for them they have to drive through the worst state in the world Kansas you know how annoying why they didn't take it up north how the [ __ ] are they in Kansas if they're coming from Boston no no shades of cancer so they're going this way and then that way no they're not going 70 west coast I'm sorry I was thinking of whistling so far yeah yeah but Wyoming is in North Colorado so [Music] it doesn't matter which way you go might as well just go gonna have to go in yeah I think that there would be more guests on the off-roads with the occasional like gas stations where a lot of people probably wouldn't have gone to compared to the city gas station but they're like 20 years deep into this year I feel like everything has been hit here's the thing y'all listen to Chris Johnson here in the apocalypse if you want to go to the DC route and get a bike bicycle bike no thank you they are running of course can't feed a horse um the Tesla [ __ ] that [ __ ] yeah supercharger stations all around 2003. yeah I know I got a way Razor scooters what are those shoes can you imagine this downhill getting away from zombies the next episode a group of teenagers with Heelys come and circle around here it's the bottle kids why did the chicken
