special time for families, for Bobbie and I, our
family, and grandchildren are spread out in lots of different places all around the world. But something pretty much
every child can agree on is being excited about Christmas Eve, and in particular a certain
character in a red suit, let's continue to enjoy the
Christmas Spec together, and hey kids, keep an eye out, because we just might have
a special visitor for you. - 'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house,
not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse (gasps). Ooh, the stockings were hung
by the chimney with care, in hopes that St Nicholas
soon would be there. The children were nestled
all snug in their beds as visions of sugar plums
danced in their heads, when out on the lawn,
there arose such a clatter, I sprung from my bed to
see what was the matter. (bell ringing) The moon on the breast
of the new-fallen snow gave a lustre of mid-day to objects below. (dogs panting) With the little old driver,
so lively and quick, I knew in a moment, he must be St Nick. His eyes, how they twinkled,
his dimples, how merry, his cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry. He had a broad face, and
a little round belly, that shook when he laughed
like a bowl full of jelly. - Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, Merry Christmas. Ho, ho, ho. - But I heard him exclaim
ere he drove out of sight. (dog moaning) - Happy Christmas to all,
and to all, a good night. Bobbie to be praying for you when it comes to seeing prayers answered. Amen, she's been praying for me, praying for our kids for years, thank God. Praise reports. There's always great praise reports. Someone praising God, because they've got a great medical report after having blood tests,
and a scan on their liver, and so Carissa is praising God because of a new job offer.
- Wow. - Someone else, Ron, praising God for successful eye surgery. Joseph's got engaged. That's worth praising God for.
- Brilliant. - Christine, praising
God that after months of being in the UK, she'll be returning home to Australia. Someone praising God because
of getting out of the UK, and getting into Australia. Praising God, she'd been
granted permanent residency. Praising God that after
two weeks in hospital, his dad has finally been discharged. Praising God because of what
He's doing in their family. - So good.
- Praising God for the birth of their grandson. Praising God that their
mum's COVID-19 test came back negative. There's just a little
glimpse of the many prayer, and praise reports that
come in every single week. So as a church, we've
been working together with the community to provide
support for families in need through our Kilo of Christmas appeal, it's an incredible
opportunity to be a blessing. Thousands of families are
doing it tough in our cities and communities who have been
helped with food hampers, and gifts for children this Christmas. Thank you, Church, for your generosity, and thank you to all of our partners for helping us see these hampers and gifts get into the right family's
hands this Christmas. I pray, it's been a blessing to you. Well, Christmas and of
course the key message of Christmas is giving, and
the great example is Jesus, Who God has given to the world. God so loved the world, you, that He gave, and I wanna encourage you

betrothed, promised to each other, just like a marriage. God sent His angel to speak to Mary, - Mary, do not yield to your fear, (heartbeat thudding) you have been chosen. You will become pregnant with a baby boy. You are to name Him, Jesus. He will be Supreme. And He'll be known as
the Son of the Most High, and His Kingdom will reign forever. - But how could this happen? I'm still a Virgin. - The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the
Most High will cover you. The Holy Child you will give birth to will be called the Son of God, for He can do all things. Not one promise from God is empty of power for nothing is impossible with God. - As His servant, I accept

be afraid to take Mary into your home as your wife, because the child who

lived three wise kings, and their passion was to study the stars. Night after night, they watched in awe, charting and celebrating
the distant lights that ignited the sky. ♪ Whoa, whoa ♪ Yes, these were great
and wise earthly kings. And yet something was about to happen which would change them forever. For on this night, a new
star appeared in the heavens, beckoning them, heralding the
arrival of a new King born, but not just any king,
or even a great king, but the King of kings. The divine mystery unfolded
in the skies above them. And so, these wise men set out on unimagined paths, humbly following the star
to their new born King. The heavens now blazed a message. For eternity had whispered its welcome. Come, come and see Immanuel, God with us. - Nearby some shepherds sat watching over their flocks like they had done on
so many other nights, but God had now drawn near, and for these shepherds, this night was about to

it's an important question. Do you know Jesus is
your Lord and Saviour? You know we just heard,
do you hear what I hear? I wonder what you hear when you hear about this person called Jesus. For society they've boiled it down to, well, he's a person of religion, it's about rules, it's about regulations, but I wonder if you truly know the message of Christmas is about this person, Jesus, who represents for each and
every one of us new beginning. He represents for us a brand new start. See, we've all fallen short,
we've all missed the mark, but God in His grace and His mercy sent Jesus for each and every one of us, so that we may know new life, that we may know Him as our Saviour that we may not have religion,
rules, and regulation, but we would have relationship. So my question for you today is this. Do you have a relationship with Him? If you don't, I would love
to lead you in a simple, powerful prayer of
asking Him to your life. Maybe at one time you made this decision, but you know in your
heart you've walked away. Well, today could be
that brand new beginning you've been wanting in Jesus. If that's you, say this prayer after me, Dear Jesus, today I give You my life. I choose You as my Lord and Saviour. Forgive me of all my wrongdoing. You are my Lord, I wanna follow You for
the rest of my days. Today, I surrender all. In Jesus' Name, Amen, Amen. Well, if you prayed that
