John 5 let's rehash a few things we're not ignorant  of his devices he walks about like a roaring   lion seeking whom he may devour that that's  the stuff we know about him but because the   Bible is clear that he is a deceiver that he's  a tempter and then he's a liar that means that   he's going to be sneaky about some things  and those are the things that will not be   before our eyes they will be masked they  will be hidden behind something in most   cases they'll be hidden behind something  that on the surface you even the elect may   be okay with but that is rooting at its  core it's tainted it's vile it's satanic and so this lesson is about  covering some of the major   aspects of the human condition  and and humanity as a whole those are so fly I'm sorry for that I'm  sorry the saying before I was rudely interrupted he does we're covering aspects of humanity the major  areas of life the major areas of our lives and   Satan has an agenda for all these these aspects  of life these areas of life but I want to read   this verse because race is race is a sensitive  issue it's definitely a hot-button topic and   it's not dealt with in the church world it is  not dealt with on Sunday mornings and ladies and   gentlemen still to this day Sunday morning  is the most segregated hour it is the most   segregated time so it lets you know that the ills  of racism and Prejudice are still with us today and so it's something that we're gonna  constantly have to deal with constantly   have to combat there aren't too many voices  especially in the church world that want to   address these issues so somebody has to say  something somebody has to say something in   another generation apostle price was bold and  courageous enough to do with this almost twenty   years ago and so when you look just I have to do  is look look at the media look at what's going on   in the media especially across the country and  you'll realize it is still prevalent today so   I want to use this verse as an example of some  of the terms that I'll be using because you may   hear a term and you may think that I mean it  in general you know like if I just say people   who am I talking about I'm not talking about  every person on the planet if I say people lie well Who am I talking to am I  saying everyone lies everyone   makes it their aim and their goal to lie no  so I want to use this verse here John 5:16 John 5:16 which reads for this reason who persecuted Jesus and who sought to kill him  and why because he had done these things on the   Sabbath all right the verse reads for this reason  the Jews persecuted Jesus and sought to kill him   the Jews who are we talking about here we sell out  every Jew every Jew sought to kill him no because   Jews walked with him his disciples were Jews so  all of the Jews did not seek to kill him but but   if but we can take this one verse proof text and  say in a general sense not isolating anyone the   Jews killed Jesus the Jew sought to kill Jesus  and eventually the Jews killed Jesus and that's   a very general statement and the implication what  you could walk away from that is that I'm saying   that all Jews sought to kill him and therefore  all Jews killed him but no just like people   lied doesn't mean every person lies all right for  this reason the Jews persecuted Jesus and for this   reason the Jews sought to kill Jesus doesn't mean  every Jew persecuted Jesus and every Jew sought   to kill him because Jews walked with them and they  didn't seek to kill him nor did they persecute him so if I make statements like white people  or black people doesn't mean I'm talking   about everybody as a matter of fact you  should know first off you and living in the   society that we live in today you should  know what I'm talking about when I say   what I'm gonna say now in 2015 guess what  still exists yeah racism still exists but   but what what are the what are the causes of  racism these things still exist in 2015 today white supremacy still exists it does all  right now remember John 5:16 it's obvious   we're not talking about everybody but the B  concept and the way of thinking still exists   today it's still alive today and the black  people viewed as inferior still exist today and where does that come from is that biblical  is that the nature and character of God how is   it to make it even worse how is it that in the  church world white supremacy is prevalent and black inferiority is still prevalent within  the church why is that and if you're yellow   red or brown you're not left out what does  God have to say about race does God have to   say about culture does God have to say about  ethnicity well let's look at four verses here   starting with Acts chapter 2 verses as  of the day of Pentecost had fully come the day of Pentecost had fully come those in the upper room were filled they began  to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave   them utterance and acts 2 5 says of this and there  were dwelling in Jerusalem dwelling in Jerusalem   Jews devout men from where every nation under  heaven so what this is telling us is that everyone   living in Jerusalem were not born in Jerusalem  there were those from other nations that came   to Jerusalem Jews those are the Jewish faith of  other cultures and ethnic backgrounds and it says   they were dwelling in Jerusalem devout men from  every nation under heaven when you look at verse   7 it says the latter part look not all these who  speak galilaeans how is it that we each hear in   our own language in which we were born parthians  and medes and elamites Parthians pathya does it   exist today but if we were to find ourselves  in Parthia today we would be in northern Iran   northern Iran specifically so these are northern  Iranians and then you have needs needs a territory   that at one point in its history merged with the  Persian Empire and you have elamite s-- children   of allah these are children of Shem out of  which Persia came all of Iran is Persia so these   three specific groups make up Persia Persian  Jews in Jerusalem hearing Galileans speak of   their language in awe and they're amazed by it  because they know they don't know our language those dwelling in Mesopotamia Judea  Cappadocia Pontus Asia they're there   from everywhere fridaya Pamphylia Egypt and  the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene visitors   from wrong both Jews and proselytes Cretans and  Arabs look at this look at all these cultures Mesopotamia what made it the  Mesopotamian state Babylon a CAD Chaldea Judea from as far as Asia Egypt and Libya that's  Africa Cyrene that's Africa Rome that's Italy   Cretans that's Greece Arabs that's Arabia  and they all were one glorifying God because   Galileans in the upper room were sense this Bible the book that   you that you have in your hands was  used to justify slavery and what is   ax 10:35 say but in every nation  how many nations every nation who   who fears him whoever fears him and works  righteousness is what is accepted by him in every nation whoever fears him it doesn't  matter the nation if you fear him and you work   righteousness you're what accepted by him how  about Paul sermon on Mars Hill what does he   say here acts 17:26 what has he done he has  made from one blood that's enough right there   he has made from one blood every nation of men  to dwell on all the face of the earth and has   determined their pre appointed times and the  boundaries of their dwellings when we studied   Genesis 10 we'll talk about pre appointed  times and we'll talk about boundaries of   dwellings but one thing is for certain it has  nothing to do with prejudice once again he's   made from one blood and who and and where or  who can we trace one blood back to where does   this originate where does this start what  does this begin he is made from one blood   every nation of men to dwell on all the face  of the earth he is made from one blood every   nation of men to dwell on all the face of  the earth how about here in revelation 14:6 in the eschatological book of Revelation the book  of apocalypse the book of the end there will be a   time when this happens revelation 14:6 says then  I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven   and here's something you can learn Revelation  14 is clearly a time that is further ahead than   where we are now how do we know this because  in Revelation 14 6 an angel is preaching the   gospel and angels have not been commissioned to  preach the gospel min half men or mankind those   within the church have been given the Commission  to preach the gospel if an angel is preaching   the gospel in revelation 14:6 that means we the  church aren't here so this particular event that   we're reading in Revelation this would happen  after we are gone but what do we have here an   angel flying in the midst of heaven what's he  doing having the everlasting gospel to preach   to those who dwell on the earth you can even read  it like this to those who remain on the earth to   every nation tribe tongue and people saying  with a loud voice fear God and give glory to   him for the hour of his judgment has come and  worship Him who made heaven and earth to sea   and springs of water an angel will be preaching  the gospel to those who remain on the earth but   guess what the Bible is telling us there will  be those of every nation that remain on the   earth so it also tells us there will be those of  every nation that will be saved salvation is for   everyone there will be those out of every nation  that received the message of salvation and there   will be those out of every nation that rejects  the message but the message is for everyone so if God's not racist and God's not  prejudiced how did man become racist   and Prejudice we didn't get that from ABBA now  you can work the scripture well to validate it I mention the word earlier proof texting I can  take one text and say hi look at what this   says no let's not only establish doctrine  let's establish life on this one scripture   and one of the most dangerous things we  can do as believers especially those who   stand in the forefront and are responsible  for the Sheep is to take a verse out of its   context and have it mean what we wanted to  mean so what a Paul say in acts 17 he said   out of one blood out of one blood out of  one blood comes every man look at Genesis 2 Genesis 2:7 and the Lord God formed man  of the dust of the ground and breathed   into his nostrils the breath of life  and man became a what a living being   so here we have the Creation of Adam now  everyone comes from Adam so Adam comes   from dust and women come from a rib that  came from one made from dust what are we it's Genesis 3:20 that tells us  Eve is the mother of all living   so Adam and Eve are the parents of all  living so we can all trace our origin   and Eve now in Genesis 5 2 it says that  he blessed them and called them mankind Genesis 5:2 says he created them male and  female and blessed them this is after he   has already stated that man has been created in  the image of God and man is like God created in   His image and likeness he says he created them  male and female blessed them and called them a   mankind in the day they were created if you  have a traditional King James it does not   read a man kind it reads a domme it reads  Adam and the Hebrew for Adam or mankind is   Adam here's what it means ruddy ruddy is  defined as red-faced this the etymological   meaning of the word ready red faced reddish in  color right he's made from dirt dust clay so   it makes absolutely no sense for there to be  any portrayal of Adam as white now watch this   we're gonna deal with some very touchy things  like Adam wasn't white and Jesus wasn't white Moses wasn't white Noah  wasn't white shall I continue now of course in today where there's so much  more love and acceptance I am probably an   enemy of that I'll be I'll be deemed an enemy  of that because I'm dealing I'm dealing what we   like to sweep under the rug and so my thing  is this how dare we portray a false image a false image of what or who God or any of  his spokesmen look like I'm sorry I have   a problem with things like this go back and  watch all biblical movies starring Charlton   Heston like the Ten Commandments or go back and  watch Ben Hur but I'll do you one better today   in 2014 2014 the movie Noah was produced  the entire cast was white the entire cast   was white even the Ten Commandments had  been hard had some other color in those   films but the entire cast of manual is  white how did that happen if somebody   wasn't white don't make them white what's  this if they were black don't make a balk it's gonna be quiet for some weeks I'm telling  you right now my board some weeks but let's go   over this one more time out of out of how much  blood out of how many Bloods how much boy one   blood out of one blood came all men that began  with Adam who was ready that began with Adam   who is reddish I mean we're gonna we're gonna  have to deal with white supremacy we're gonna   to deal with black supremacy to because black  supremacy arose to counter white supremacy right   so white supremacy would say what black people  are inferior and black supremacy would say why   people are Devils we always have to do extremes  Jesus isn't white he was back we have to go all   the way to the other end of the color spectrum  don't we do to make our point and in doing that   we still create some fallacies by definition  once again the father of humanity was reddish now I want to define race from a source that I  want that name it's a dictionary but I won't name   which one anyway from a particular dictionary race  is defined as this each of the major divisions of   humankind each of the major divisions of humankind  I want you to hear this out listen carefully   having distinct physical characteristics people  of all races colors Creed's a group of people   sharing the same culture history and language an  ethnic group the fact or condition of belonging   to a racial division or group the qualities  or characteristics associated with this a group or set of people or things with  a common feature or common features   I'm going to read those again each of  the major major divisions of humankind ok well let's first ask the question what what or  who are the major divisions of humankind having   distinct physical characteristics well  it's true people have distinct physical   characteristics does that mean they're of  a different race a group of people sharing   the same culture history and language so  according to this definition if you share   the same culture than you're of the same race  if you share the same history you're the same   race if you shared the same language then  you're of the same race the factor condition   of belonging to a racial division or group  the qualities or characteristics associated   with that a group or set of people or  things with a common feature or features but let's look at the definition  according to biology let's look   at the definition according to biology a population within a species that  is distinct in some way especially   a subspecies that's interesting isn't it  but here's the definition I like and for   whatever reason this dictionary decided  to put in parentheses non-technical use and yet this is the definition that makes  the most sense each of the major divisions   of living creatures so that would mean that  the human race is distinct from other races   however these are the races don't consist  of humans because all of humanity is a race how about this a group of people descended from  a common ancestor you're absolutely right Adam   that's what a race is I don't know now we're gonna  we're gonna dig deep and talk about where this   comes from how did how did how did different  cultures and and complexions and languages   determine that someone is a different race yes  you may be of a different cultural background   you may be a different ethnicity and you may speak  a different language but it doesn't mean you are   a separate race to imply that humans are divided  up into different racial groups would be to imply   that the white race is different from the black  race which is different from the red race which is   different from the brown race and different from  the yellow race now I submit to you that brown   red yellow black or white they all are a part of  one race now allow me to bring the geek out of   myself and give you an illustration that I think  it is you'll see this I am a a fan of an author   by the name of Tolkien JR Tolkien who created the  second most read book of all time behind the Bible   the Lord of the Rings part of this universe is  another very well known story called The Hobbit   now within this story you actually have different  races and for there to be different races on this   planet our planet or our situation would have  to be likened to Tolkien's world in Tolkien's   world you had the race of min it didn't matter  the color right it didn't it didn't matter the   cultural or ethnic background you had a race of  men then you had a race of elves elves are not   men and men are not ELLs they're different  races and then you had a race of dwarfs and   he had a race of hobbits and he had a race of  goblins completely and totally different races   but they occupied the same middle-earth the men  the race of men were not classified as different   races amongst themselves because of difference  is this is one race the race of man if we were   to be invaded by aliens their craft breached  the Earth's atmosphere blanketing the sky of   darkness and from this craft they sit down an  ambassador to stand before the UN so that they   could present their argument and their case for  living on this planet if the UN were to accept   that we would have another race on our planet  but but until that happens there's only one which of course will cause us to look  at what race ISM really is okay watch   this although ideas of race are centuries old it was not until the 19th century  wow that's pretty late it was not   until the 19th century that attempts  to systemize racial divisions were made ideas of supposed racial superiority and  social Darwinism reach the culmination   when who wants a crack at it when  did it happen when do you think   the ladies and gentlemen that ideas  of supposed racial superiority and   social Darwinism reach their culmination  when do you think that happened come on I haven't heard it yet say it again somebody's  not slavery come on you guys are saying everything   except okay it's during their time at the 19th  century right so don't go back too far we're   talk about the 19th century okay let me award it  to you this way which which which group or people   group is to is to general of a statement which  how about this rich people group that purported a   specific ideology about men or humans say it again  who specifically in Germany ideas that supposed   racial superiority and social dominant Darwinism  restart what the culmination right not its   origin guys right reached its culmination in Nazi  ideology of the 1930s and gave pseudo-scientific   you might know a pseudo means false fake pseudo  scientific justification to policies and attitudes   of discrimination exploitation slavery and even  extermination right reached its culmination   theories of race asserting a link between racial  type and tell and intelligence are now today they   have been they've been discredited they have been  scientifically discredited and this stuff still   exists how ironic that science has proven that the  the false views of different ethnicities that some   may be smarter than others and some dumber than  others that has been disproved but there's still   an air of supremacy and inferiority in the land  theories of race asserting a link between racial   type and intelligence has now been discredited  scientifically it is accepted as obvious that   there are subdivisions of the human species but  it is also clear that genetic variation between   individuals of the same race can be as great as  that between numbers of different races so of   course the the term race for the most part is used  amongst people as synonymous with maybe ethnicity   or culture so when you hear that word race don't  think of the definition we've already established   think of how most people view race most people  you come across outside of this place outside of   your your circle of comfort and those that you  know most people consider those of a different   color a different race they consider those of a  different background a different race but that   comes from from programming you know is just like  there is improper biblical programming where we   have a view of scripture that scripture doesn't  validate we've actually never researched it yet   we've never looked into it to see if scripture  actually said this but we've been believing it for   so many years that for us it is doctrine and it  is dogma and when one rises up to challenge that   which we have been programmed to believe we get  mad watch this you're actually getting mad at God   and getting mad at scripture with scripture can  blow a hole through or theology yet you still been   with theology what does that tell you about that  which you believe how ingrained in you is it how   deep is the root and it's not just in the church  world it's it's it's in the secular world just in   life as we know it there are things that we have  been programmed to believe and when you hear one   person say something against it whoa whoa wait a  minute back off now hold on that can't be right   that's not what they said we're gonna talk about  day two because Dave well I'm telling you they if we can find where they live if we can find  where they hold their meetings if we can find   where they do their business if we can expose  them isn't it interesting that you can't find   anything in scripture to support prejudice  you can't find it you can't find anything   in scripture where God backs it now you  can find it you can find it I mean did   not Egypt enslave the children of Israel  so you can find it but God's not for it   God's not behind it God doesn't support it  God doesn't ordain it God's not backing it   and yet within the world and sadly within  the church these prejudices are still alive   and well and they're even flourishing  there's subtle now but it's flourishing alright go to Genesis ah let's see I don't think I  wanted to go to teens just yet let's let's look at let's look at  forward Genesis for alright we know   the account Cain and Abel sons of Adam  and Eve probably twins most likely can't   prove it with Scripture but if they were  twins then it released it it magnifies   the account because Cain did what he  slew his brother all right he killed   his brother why did he kill his brother God  respected Abel's offering more than Cain's now the thing that I take into consideration is  this the Bible says Abel brought the first born   Cain just brought an offering from the ground  I didn't say anything about first and we know   how important the first is to God so think about  this Cain just brings a random offering from the   earth but Abel brings the first God respects  his offering or receives his offering over   Cain's alright what happens on the inside of Cain  right jealousy all right so this is proof that if   jealousy is not dealt with it can end in murder  the loss of life all right envy jealousy wrath   murder you should you should be very careful when  you even use those terms loosely girl I'm jealous   of you right well how did you mean that well you  you didn't mean that you were jealous but words   are containers seeds can be planted with words  if you say something long enough we'll start   believing it so Caine is jealous of Abel because  his offering was rejected enables was received   and that jealousy then turned to wrath and guess  what Cain takes his brother's life then lies to   God about it and I my brother's keeper I don't  know where he's at and yet God says that the   blood of your brother is crying from the earth I  mean all of that if God could hear the voice of   Abel's blood from the earth what did it sound  like and if he could hear the voice of Abel's   blood crying out what did the Messiah's blood  cry out he kills his brother and what happens   well God has to remove him and mark him when you  get to verse 16 you read about the family of Cain   now here's the question everyone else verse  17 says Cain knew his wife who was his wife   because up until this point the Bible doesn't  tell us about any other people Adam Eve Cain   and Abel that's all we know about and now Abel's  gone so when it came get this wife from the best   explanation now some people say all there were  other humans now the Bible doesn't give us any   implication that there were others so here's  what makes the most sense in unnamed sister as   a matter of fact what would make the most sense  is that there were many unnamed children of Adam   and Eve the Bible doesn't see fit to tell you  every detail of someone's life does it I like   to use Abraham as an example how much Bible  would we need if God recorded 175 years of   just Abraham's life how much Bible would we need  if the if God wanted to record all 969 years of   Methuselah slice how much Bible would we need you  need a lot of text so the Bible's not giving you   a play-by-play of what's going on in every Old  Testament patriarch and Old Testament Saints   life it's not doing that so therefore it can be  and we're speaking from silence because we don't   have scripture to back it up but it can be implied  that Adam and Eve had other children Cain goes   out from the presence of the Lord verse 16 4:16  and dwelt in the Land of Nod on the East of Eden nod literally means wandering so where did Cain go  to the land of wandering on the East of Eden and   it says what Cain knew his life now we won't we  won't go through every name in the genealogy but   we see a genealogy here and this is a genealogy  that goes up to verse 24 now here's all out   here here's here's the only thing I'll say about  Cain because I don't want to deal with him under   the umbrella of race but in another phase of the  lesson but but here's what Cain brought to the to   the world at the time he brought a very advanced  civilization once again Cain means Smith's metalsmiths blacksmiths coppersmiths silversmiths  can produce an entire family an entire lineage   of Smith's what are Smith's their builders  their engravers their motors their fashion   errs in other words Cain's family was in  the business of masonry build a very very   very advanced civilization know what makes a  civilization so events well well you have two   things working for you number one sin had  just entered the world CC sin entering the   world while it cost an immediate separation  spiritually from God and man or between God   and man the effects of sin took some time to  affect the earth on top of that Cain lived in   a world where the firmament still existed  right that visible arch in the sky so the   firmament was an extra layer of protection that  we don't have today ladies and gentlemen if we've   got the atmosphere doing what it does but in  Cain's day he had both the atmosphere and the   firmament no no dr. Willy dies in form at seven  miles 11:00 I'm sorry not 7 11 to 11 miles from   from Earth to the top of the firmament 11 miles  and in this firmament everything was big right 28 28 pounds per square
