[Music] celebration [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] my [Music] in the name of the father of the son and of the holy spirit amen the lord be with you and with your spirit good morning everybody good morning father brothers and sisters during this holy mass and we pray for those people who are sick the litigate 19 we pray for those people who are abroad our ofw's our same men and we pray also for our families brothers and sisters to prepare ourselves worthy for the sacred celebration please bow your head and let us now ask god to forgive us of the sins that we have done and committed you were christ's action of safeguarding the church through the power given to peter the first reading a reading from the book of the prophet isaiah thus says the lord shebna master of the palace i will trust christ a straight forward question was asked by jesus to his disciples who do people say the son of man is is cristo did they really know the lord was it clear to them who jesus was how firm was their faith in jesus brothers and sisters it was peter who responded with conviction you are the christ the son of the living god matthew 16 verse 16 peter did not only confess his faith in christ with his church founded by christ our church my dear friends as the true church founded by christ this church has four important marks one holy catholic apostolic is as he said and i will build my church singular hindi plural only one church holy mahakapateen this is a holy church because jesus himself is holy sh catholic meaning to say that this church is universal acts chapter 9 verse 31 the church throughout the whole world apostolic meaning to say that the apostles were the foundation chosen by jesus when he built his church at cal pedro i'd say amen brothers and sisters throughout the history the catholic church has always been persecuted yet it remains strong and alive our catholic faith has never been shattered despite the many trials that our church has experienced amen matthew chapter apostolic church yo who is jesus christ for you brothers and sisters as christian catholics like peter let us answer this question with the truth of our life meaning to say that we must bear witness in christ success m because when someone sees jesus in you this is an affirmation that you become his witness to others world war ii ulila are you jesus regardless of what race caller or belief others may have ipa in a christian today and always we are challenged that as members of the catholic church instituted by christ we have a mission to live our faith and to live exemplary christian lives by making a difference to the lives of others especially to people who have blessed in life to the least to the last and to the lost being i am proud to say that i am a christian catholic amen god bless and became man for our sake he was crucified under pontius pilate he suffered death and was buried and rose again on the third day in accordance with the scriptures he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the father he will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end i believe in the holy spirit the lord the giver of life who proceeds from the father and the son who with the father and the son is adored and glorified who has spoken through the prophets i believe in one holy spirit amen the lord entrusted the keys of the kingdom to peter let us pray to the father that our faith in christ will build up the church in love for every petition we will say remember your church lord please repeat remember your church lord may pope francis and the bishops who have succeeded peter and the apostles in the ministry of shepherding lead us in sound doctrine and morality in these times of trouble and uncertainty we pray remember your church lord may the church rely on the risen christ who has overcome the world as she confronts human weakness scandal evil and death we pray remember your church lord may the government and civil leaders neither abuse their power nor resort to violence but rather see themselves as god stewards and instruments to do good and defend the rights of the poor and the weak we pray remember your church lord may all teachers catechists students and lay workers profess christ as the only messiah and proclaim his gospel through their work and prayer we pray remember your church lord for all missionaries who have left home country and family to proclaim the gospel to all nations may the lord protect them from all dangers strengthen them in their loneliness give joy to their communities and fulfillment in their apostolate may the lord reward them in this life and in the life to come for their sacrifices and generosity for the kingdom we pray remember your church lord may those who have grown weak in body or spirit through years of pain may have a heart that is strong with joy and trust in god we pray remember your church lord lord we also pray for our sponsors during this holy bread of life and the chalice of salvation giving thanks that you have held us worthy to be in your presence and ministered to you humbly we pray that partaking of the body and blood of christ we may be gathered into one by the holy spirit remember lord your church spread throughout the world and bring her to the fullness of charity together with francis our pope honest to our bishop and all the clergy remember also our brothers and sisters have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection and all who have died in your mercy especially those who've died because of calvin 19 welcome them into be healed save me lord that i may be saved yes lord in the name of jesus we beg you in your name we believe that every sickness will now find its healing because you are the greatest position of all and nothing is impossible with you jesus during this pandemic crisis heal in me whatever you see needs healing yes lord please continue to guide us guide our government leaders our church leaders and empower us with your will lord s foreign keep us strong and healthy answer our prayers in our hearts make us compassionate especially to people who are poor who are sick and who are down trodden help us to be always humble and give us always the purity of our hearts the purity of our intentions thank you father god thank you jesus we give you the highest praise in this holy eucharist that we celebrate i bless your holy name brothers and sisters receive the miracle healing of god say amen amen receive your financial prosperity in the name of jesus say amen amen and let us now go to the blessed mother mary hail mary full of grace the lord is with you are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your one jesus holy mary mother of god pray for us sinners now and at the earth amen let us pray complete within us o lord we pray the healing work of your mercy and graciously perfect and sustain us so that in all things we may please you through christ our lord amen please please be
