below zero and i thought oh what can it what harm can it do and i've let it in the house when i came back from work it was like a fecal jackson pollock [Music] with the upcoming release of the netflix film the gray man it's always fun to look at some of the funny behind-the-scenes moments from the cast and crew and get some anticipation going for this film starring chris evans ryan gosling and anna armas these celebrities do have a good funny bone in them so let's go ahead and jump into it but before we get into it some quick trivia what is the name of the indie rock band ryan gosling started character will be an inspiration for halloween costumes how does it feel knowing you're going to be the inspiration for so many halloween costumes oh good that's the goal that's the goal when you play a character especially a villain you want to make sure that it somehow makes the halloween stage he also revealed that he named his mustache you know chris ran mustache first into this role and you know it was a lot of fun to play against him he must be lloyd what gave it away the trash dash it's just it leans lloyd you had the stash in this film so do you like the stash do you not like what do you want from us i mean the stash in this movie i think is a little more groomed did you grow attached to the mustache and did you give a name for it i did metaphorically physically literally yeah yeah so it's uh yeah yeah i mean it helped bring the character to life ryan gosling was asked if he got back at chris evans as he accidentally hit him on the first day of shooting now chris evans said that he accidentally punched you um on the first day and i say accidentally in quote remember that um on first day of set did you ever get him back and was it accidental that's a good question you'd have to ask him i don't know yeah we saw you there with chris evans now is it true that he actually clocked you with a prop your first answer what happened you'll have to ask him honestly but you know being actor is it's a great job you know you you get free health care you get free meals they drive you to work and every once in a while you get hit in the mouth did he say i'm sorry he did he also explains why you should always have skittles on set you always have skittles on set you know what the the the advisor that i had on set who's like kind of as close to the real gray man as you're going to get told me you should always have skittles on you because it's a great source of energy all right they don't go bad and he answers the question of who he thinks would win in a real fight between him and chris evans if you and chris evans really have a fistfight who do you think would win you know it's not really fair because he has all of the avengers in his corner i've got barbie in my corner which you know i mean which never underestimate barbie i'm a huge fan of yourself such an hour i'm a fan of yours now too so oh we'll see you down the road chris admits that you don't want to get in a bar fight with anna with how much she had to prepare for the role as well i'm going to tell you right now don't mess with honor i've seen it it does not surprise me the least i've seen i've seen anna do too many moves now and look anna's great at what she does she's phenomenal what she does uh but we just did another movie not this film uh but but she was unbelievably prepared for it and you'd watch her throw these punches and kicks and you think oh my god and filming for this movie took many months of planning of props and set design so everything on screen like anna said took more time to shoot and train for than the time it took to watch it on screen go okay set and action [Music] so [Music] the cast has such a closeness with each other though especially with anna and chris as they had previously worked together in the film knives out funny enough chris evans was originally considered for the lead role and declined it to play the villain it sounds like he likes exploring his opportunities with playing various different characters in the film there's a moment where chris's character lloyd hansen refers to ryan gossing's character 6 as a ken doll which they obviously did on purpose to poke fun and secretly promote the next film he will star in barbie you insultingly call ryan gosling's character a ken doll i do but like now he really did play kim look see so lord knows what's up he can see into the future you know how does it feel now knowing you you beat up ken right well we beat each other up you know i feel like it's kind of an even match my friends [Music] the idea is to create a franchise and build out a whole universe with ryan at the center of it gray man is a spy film for fans of the winter soldier the grey man is similar in a sense that we're trying to embed it in a very modern current environment that we're facing in a global level in terms of spy networks and the cia according to deadline the script by joe russo was recently polished by avengers and game writers christopher marcus and stephen mcfeely a previous report also revealed that the movie will be netflix's biggest film budget to date ah and for our trivia question dead man's bones is the name of the band that zack shields and ryan gosling is in from the start of 2007 to now the inspiration for this team came from their obsession with ghosts and the haunted mansion in
