in your name in your name in your name i'm hungry for god this morning desperation for god i want to see what god is going to do in this house here today i want to see the power of god manifested in a very real and rich way you can begin to make your way back to your seats those of you that are here at the front and everybody else you can be seated this morning i am stand here this morning with a heavy heart i haven't experienced a lot of tragedy in my life thank god family's been protected i guess the closest you could call it would be mike savant be my second cousin your first cousin i didn't know him very well and i was too young to understand tragedy at that time but so forgive me if i'm an emotional wreck never had somebody close to me experience something so difficult so i stand here today with many more questions than i have answers but god is still good [Applause] i feel this morning i started in the car lex her car is in the shop right now so she was riding with me this morning and i was singing in my car he has been good he has been good he has been good been so good to me so blake we're going to look the devil in the eye this morning and believe that our god is still able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we could ever ask or think according to the power that worketh in us i've had this sermon on my heart for a few weeks and what we have faced this week with one of my dearest friends only confirms what i've been feeling and i'm going to talk to you this morning on the fruit of patience the fruit of patience we uh live in a world especially us that are so blessed to call the greatest country in the world our home the land of the free the home of the brave the great united states of america it is a wonderful country and we're blessed to live here but it's a fast-paced world we desire things to happen quickly we're the country of fast food restaurants drive-through services we want our products and services rendered and we want them now the only time that we have for waiting is whenever it's time to schedule something that we don't really desire something that's not beneficial to us we can wait for the doctor's exam we can wait for having to go to the orthodontist to get our braces tightened we can wait for the root canal to take place we can wait for those types of things but when it comes to other things we don't have as much patience we we can wait if if we have to go to the dmv and for anybody who works at the dmv i mean no disrespect but i don't want to schedule a time to go to the dmv because i don't want to go there and wait i don't have patience to wait we can't stand in line we don't like to wait in traffic we don't like waiting for our turn biting one's time is now more counter-cultural than it has ever been in our history our culture has conditioned us very well to have it our way right away we are living in the day where no matter if it tastes bad or not the coffee pot has now been rendered useless the teapot is now rendered useless you've got to have instant coffee instant tea instant hot chocolate if you don't have a cure egg you're outdated we want it we want it now our culture's perspective on waiting is so distant from what biblical principles would teach us let's be honest here this morning i'll be honest with you you be honest with me our human nature coupled with our societal upbringing upbringing can't stand the fact that we have to look through a glass darkly we can't stand the fact that we have to sit back and wait on god and be patient with god we don't like that our human nature our society and what we have been brought up in we want answers and we want it now we want deliverance and we want it now we want our prayer heard and we want our prayer answered and god i gotta have it right now our society and our human nature makes us that way very much like that annoying little kid that we've all seen at the candy store at the toy store in the mall where they go up to their wonderful parents and they're holding a toy in their hand i want this and your response is you have plenty of toys you've got a lot of toys at home you don't need this oftentimes that's our communication with god i want this i want to have this and his response is you've got plenty right now but what does that annoying kid at the store do we've all seen it start jerking on clothes crying whining why i gotta have it i want it now give it to me now they've responded with you can't have it because i said so but i need it we go from wanted to need i need this i need it if mom won't answer you go tomorrow i need it i got to have this why why why now now now mine give it to me and they say no and then we've all seen it if you haven't and lord please don't let this be my kid one day or i'm going to eat this message but they sit there i've seen them sit in stores like this and do this number why why roll on the ground scream cry somebody said they need a good beating you probably don't have kids you know it's the little kid i want it i need it i gotta have it now it's mine why why why why why why why all the time they're saying you're not ready for it that toy's too big for you you're not mature enough for it the timing's not right the season's not right your answer is coming one day maybe you can have that one day but now is not your time if we could only see the beauty of waiting on the lord and the power of patience and waiting on him we have so many scriptures that encourage us to wait on the lord david declares in psalm 40 and 1. i waited patiently for the lord and he inclined unto me and he heard my cry i'll get back to that in a moment psalms 37 7-9 rest in the lord and wait patiently for him fret not thyself because of him who prospers in his way that sounds like us doesn't it we get so aggravated at everybody else that's prospering and being blessed their prayers are being answered the blessing is coming their way their body has been healed their loved one was spared a tragedy while yours is going through it why god how are they prospering why are they being blessed goes on to say uh fret not thyself because of him who prospered in his way because of the man who bringeth the wicked devices to pass he tells us cease from anger and forsake wrath fret not thyself and any wise to do evil don't get so upset with god and mad with god that you want to go do evil don't get so upset with everybody else who maybe god is blessing don't go do evil for evildoers shall be cut off but those that wait upon the lord they shall inherit the earth don't worry about everybody else who's being blessed don't worry about his prayer being answered and her prayer being answered and their family being blessed don't think evil towards them don't have wrath and anger towards them don't think any evil towards them because if you will just wait patiently on the lord you're going to inherit the earth isaiah 40 31 they that wait upon the lord he shall renew their strength they shall mount up with wings as eagles they shall run and not be weary they shall walk and not faint those that wait on the lord isaiah 26 and 8 oh lord we have waited for thee the desire of our soul is to thy name and to the remembrance of thee we have waited for thee isaiah 64 and 4 for since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear neither hath i seen o god beside thee what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him i like how the new american standard bible says the last portion of that verse who acts in behalf of those who wait for him god is going to act on the behalf of those who wait for him be patient with him be patient with god those scriptures that i just read they're from the old testament and when you read the old testament you see that there's 4 000 years worth of waiting waiting for a redemptive plan to come to pass for the coming of the messiah maybe when you read the old testament i should say it more like this while we can turn there and and glean so much from there a lot of it there's a lot of heartache that you read in there and there's so much you wish you could go back and fix for so many of those people let me say it like this when you're reading the old testament for most of it you see a people that are called by his name that are called out for him that are impatiently waiting on god they're impatiently desiring to see him do things it's proven when you see that they start asking for a monarchy instead of desiring the theocracy of god they start wanting to do what they want to do instead of what god requires they're getting impatient with god because they are getting impatient we find that they start setting up idolatry because they were impatient because they were impatient and didn't want to wait on god to fulfill his plan and they begin to sin and fall into certain things that god asked them and required them not to do we find that they are brought into bondage only to be liberated and then only to go back into bondage once again and liberated and in bondage once again why because they're so impatient don't want to wait on the lord in fact they were so impatient that they missed the very thing that they had been praying and seeking for for thousands of years they were impatiently waiting for some grand conqueror who would overthrow all of their adversaries instead of watching for a savior who would take away the sins of the world and they missed him completely you would think however after reading the old testament and after experiencing the power of the new testament and the power of jesus christ having the ability to have the spirit of god living on the inside of us having his name imprinted on our souls you would think that after he had conquered death hell in the grave that waiting would be over there would be no more need for patience right he's conquered the enemy i mean i've been baptized in his name i've been filled with his spirit i'm a part of the bride of christ i'm in the kingdom of god i'm a part of the church which is built upon the rock that the gates of hell shall not prevail against that's what i'm a part of right so patience is no longer necessary waiting on the lord is no longer necessary i'm a part of the greatest institution anywhere in the universe wrong we need as much patience with god now as we ever have we need to be waiting on god and his perfect plan and will for our lives like never before not getting frustrated with god not doing it our own way not doing our own thing but allowing god's plan to come to fruition in our life we have to be patient with god we have to put our trust in the fact that god is using this season of difficulty in my life for my good for my benefit and for his benefit i have to come to the realization every single one of us has to come to the realization because every single one of us is going through something whether your father is fighting for his life or whether it's something minor we are all facing something in our lives that's significant to us a trial a tribulation in the situation that we are going through we all have to come to grips with the fact that it is god allowed to benefit us and our ministry and our calling in his kingdom god is going to use every turmoil every trial and every situation that we have to walk through for our benefit he's cultivating us he's shaping us and he is molding us through everything that we are facing we have to put our faith and our trust in the process of god we have to have patience with him we have to wait on him this season that i'm going through is for my good that's hard to say paige i know that's hard to say but what i'm going through here today is for my good i've got to be patient with god i can't just always demand the answer from him and always demand god you've got to pull me out of this right now it's his timing it's his plan patience patience patience patience means putting your time aside and allowing god's time to work for your benefit that's patience with god i've got to be patient with him we're going to go through a portion of scripture here and then i'm going to come to a close james chapter 5. let's start with verse 7 and we're going to read 7-8 together be patient therefore brethren unto the coming of the lord behold the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth and have long patience for it let me take a break here for just a moment to interject something really quick when you find yourself struggling and having patience with god you just remember the patience he has with you and the patience he's had with me when i sit there in my chair and on my couch i'm saying why am i going through this why am i facing with this i'm losing my patience god just remember that every day this old sin wants to wake up this whole flesh wants to wake up and commit sin and there's some day that i may be jealous or i may have envy or i may have strife or anger and i'm gonna have to look at god and i'm gonna have to say forgive me god i haven't been living like i should and his grace and his mercy and his patience with me is gonna see me through so when i find myself struggling with having patience with god and his plan for my life i better remember the fact that i'm nothing but a low down sinner that's been saved by grace that he has patience with every single day of my life he has long patience for it until he received the early in the latter rain be also patient establish your hearts for the coming of the lord draw nigh let me bring you some good news here today ladies and gentlemen the lord is soon to come jesus is coming soon i just have to be patient i just got to wait on him jesus is soon to come that's what we all should be living for the fact that my god is coming back to me i'm living patiently for that day i'm living patiently for the day when this corruptible takes on incorruption when this mortal takes on immortality i'm living patiently for that day i'm having patience for the day when there will be no more sorrow there will be no more pain there will be no more death there will be no more hurt there will be no more tragedy i'm living patiently for that day i'm having patience here this morning because there's a day coming when the lord is going to descend himself from heaven with a shout with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of god and the dead in christ shall rise first and we which are alive and remain shall be called together to meet them in the air and we're going to be with the lord and so shall we ever be with him [Music] i'm having patience for that day i'm being as patient as i can you know when you hear people talk about streets of gold and walls of jasper and gates of pearl and a mansion that's got my name on it i'm being as patient as i can i'm waiting for that day that's the very first thing i'm patient for is the coming of god the coming of christ but just because we're part of the bride of christ we have that blessed hope that complete redemption is coming once again or a second resurrection is coming again should i say i'm looking forward to that that doesn't change the fact that we're going to face difficult trials and situations frequently in this life so let me read this portion of scripture a little bit different here this morning let's look at it a little different way i understand that it's talking about the coming of the lord and to be patient for that but let's read it like this let's read it like god is about to pull us out of our trial and situation he's on the brink of pulling us out of our storm he's about to come his coming is nigh he's ready to pull us out and to see us through he's just waiting for us to reach the point where we are going to be more beneficial to his kingdom and he's wanting to see how we're going to respond to these last tests these few last little mountains we have to climb in valleys we have to walk let's read it like that if you will is that okay it takes a little bit of imagination i know what the scripture is trying to say but let's look at it like this be pray be patient therefore brethren because the coming of the lord is coming he's about to pull you out be patient because he's drawing nine if you go on to verse nine it says he's standing at the door the judge is standing at the door so he's coming his coming is now he's ready to see you through he's ready to pull you out he's at the door he's about to open the door to your deliverance and your freedom he's there he's he's about to do it there's just a few more little valleys you got to go through it a few more mountains you've got to climb so let's read this portion of scripture that away for just a moment if you will and let's look at what we are told to do paul tells us be patient be long-suffering if you will what must we do and it tells us in verse 8 strengthen your heart establish your heart get your heart strong let me say it a different way we've got to be spiritually strong if we want to make it through these difficult trials and situations that god is using for our benefit and we don't want to just wide our way through it of god get me out god get me out god get me out and we want to see the complete benefit of while we're in that storm we've got to have an established heart we've got to be strong spiritually so we've got to strengthen our heart why is this important because a weak heart can't make it through that trial and storm a weak heart cannot stand the long test or the race that is run with patience i mean this in no disrespect to people who have walked through this valley in life and what i'm about to bring up so please don't get offended but there's a reason you don't see heart attack survivors winning marathons it's because their heart's not strong enough anymore it's been through too much it's too weak to make it i read an article in preparation for this sermon that said people who have had heart attacks should not exceed 30 minutes of exercise every day if they do any more than that they're setting themselves up for another acute event in their heart a weak heart can't stand that long run anymore that difficult run anymore you've got to have a strong heart you've got to have a heart that is established we have to make sure that our hearts spiritually speaking are not weak anymore because this is a grueling race that we are running this is a difficult situation that we are walking through your situation is difficult to you my situation is difficult to me and a weak heart is not going to see me through my situation and allow it to be beneficial the way that god intends it to be beneficial in my life i've got to get my heart strong i've got to be spiritually in a place where i'm strong enough to see the benefit of waiting on the lord and being patient with god okay my heart needs to be strong gent that's great preachers a lot of times but tell us what we need to do but not how to do it here to tell you how to do it how can we strengthen our hearts this morning how can we be spiritually strengthened paul goes on to write romans 1 chapter 11. paul says i long to see you that i may impart unto you some spiritual gift to the end that you may be established that you may be strengthened that your heart can get strong that you can get spiritually strong let's go on i'm going to come back to that first thessalonians 3 2-3 and sent timothy our brother and minister of god and our fellow laborer in the gospel of christ to strengthen you to establish you to comfort you concerning your faith that no man should be moved by these afflictions for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto let's go to first thessalonians 3 10-13 night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face and might perfect that which is lacking in your faith now god himself and our father and our lord jesus christ direct our way unto you and the lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another toward all men even as we do toward you to the end to the end this is why i'm praying that you may be established established strengthened your heart's unblameable in holiness before god even our father at the coming of our lord jesus christ with all the saints romans 8 25 but if we hope that we not see if we have faith if we have hope that god's going to pull me out of this then i'm going to have the patience to wait for the deliverance of god so let's go back we read in romans how can i strengthen my heart the spiritual gifts as i preached a few weeks ago are given to edify one another paul is saying i wish i could get to you and i wish i could get spiritual gifts flowing in all of you because it edifies you it strengthens you that's why it is so important that we are part of the body of christ and that we allow as we did this morning the gifts of the spirit to operate because that establishes us that strengthens our heart that gives us faith to go through the situation and the trial and the turmoil that we are facing that's why it's so beautiful to be joined together with a body of believers who allow the gifts of the spirit to operate because it establishes us it strengthens us paul goes on to write in thessalonians about timothy i'm sending you church at thessalonica a pastor the pastor is given to us we're a blessed people to have such a great pastor he has been given to each and every one of us he's the angel of this church that is an overseer and is a watchman on the wall he's a comforter he preaches words of encouragement he preaches words of faith he sees us through our trials and tribulations he's one of the only pastors i know of what is considered a mega church that still has an open door policy to each and every person that is a pastor and that's our pastor and it has been given to us to strengthen us that's what helps to establish us that's what strengthens our heart when he gets up here and he pours out his soul you better have your ears open to what the pastor is saying you want to tune me out you want to tune the evangelist out you want to tomb whosoever you will out great when he gets in the pulpit you better have your ears tuned to what he's saying because it's going to strengthen you it's going to establish you and see you through your storm and your trial and situation so the gifts of the spirit strengthen us establish us our pastor strengthens us and establishes us and the prayers of the saints and your prayers will establish you nothing like the power of prayer that's why i was so important when i read a few minutes ago about david who said i waited patiently on the lord and he inclined unto me and he heard my cry in the midst of your patient waiting on god not impatiently waiting not demanding that god do something patiently waiting on god with a strong heart then you can cry out all you want to then you can say god i gotta have you i gotta have you in this trial in this situation but even if you don't move god even if you don't pull me out i'm gonna have faith in you i'm gonna have patience with you i know that you're doing something for my benefit and my good i am established and i've got a strong heart and i'm just waiting to see the deliverance of god the spiritual gifts are given to us the body of christ to edify and to strengthen us we've got a pastor who edifies us and ministers to us in prayer prayer prayer praying for your situation interceding for what you're going through having others praying with you having others interceding for what you are going through the prayers of the righteous availeth much this will equip us to endure any situation that the devil tries to put in our path if we are strong spiritually if i've got a strong heart if i am edified by the body of christ if i'm edified by the ministry of my pastor if i'm edified by the prayers of the saints and if i'm praying and i'm established and i'm strong i'm equipped to handle any situation god would want to see me through just got to have patience in him let's continue in james chapter 5 as i'm quickly coming to a close 9-12 what else can we do or not do i've told you what to do in the midst of waiting on god and your trial your circumstance and situation here's something that is given to us not to do grudge not one against another brethren lest ye be condemned behold the judge standeth before the door so he's at the door and as we're reading it for this message purpose he's at the door ready to pull us out of our trial and situation our circumstance and what we're going through and he's listening to what you're going to say the new american standard bible says it like this excuse me don't complain one to another don't go up to somebody and just talk about how bad it is all the time look at what i'm facing look at what i'm going through it's a never-ending process of god wanting me to go through this and go through that god's standing at the door ready to deliver ready to see us through but he's seeing how we're going to react in these few moments these last few moments of what we're facing in this trial that was given to us for our benefit for our good as he shapes us and molds us we're at the very end he's ready to pull us out the judge is at the door what are you saying what's coming out of your mouth it is likely that if all we're going to do is complain about it we're going to stay in it a whole lot longer if all i'm going to do is complain about what i'm facing and going through and why god and why has this happened to me it's not happening to them look at what you're doing for them if all i'm going to do is complain it is highly likely that i'm going to be stuck there a long time but if i can find it in myself to say god in the midst of this i praise you in the midst of this i give you glory in the midst of this i give you all the honor in the midst of what i'm going through i know you've got the answer god i know you're going to see me through i know you're going to pull me out it's your timing it's not my timing that's what patience is all about putting my time on hold allowing your time to be for my benefit if we will praise god in the midst of our storms god's not going to leave us in that trial very long i pray that our hearts are strengthened i pray that we don't complain in the midst of our storm here's the last piece of information that i'll give you these last two or three verses of james 5 verse 10 take my brethren the prophets who have spoken the name of the lord for an example of suffering and affliction of patience turn back the pages of time go to this word and look at what i've done for my people in times past daniel still had to endure the lion's den before god set him free but he endured jeremiah was thrown into a pit and he cried his way through but god comforted him until he saw his salvation joseph was 13 years in a prison for a crime he didn't even commit seemingly forgotten about but he didn't complain he just endured he just kept going he just kept believing that god was going to see him through maybe not completely understanding that all the while god was preparing him to be second in command over all of egypt and to establish the nation of israel noah had to wait 120 years for a dark cloud to even appear going on only a few words from god on how to do it but he kept on enduring and god spared him hannah endured the attacks of the enemy for a long time until finally god heard her cry and brought her out of her situation and blessed her with an anointed prophet look back at what god has done look back at these old prophets and the people that have called on the name of the lord in times past and look at how god has helped them endure and seen them through to the end didn't always bring people out right when they thought they needed it right when they wanted it but he was always there helping them to endure the entire situation until they saw the salvation of the lord poor poor old habakkuk he had to sit there and witness the destruction of israel and judah and the only thing he was able to see was the future of what god was going to do he didn't even get to enjoy the fact that god was one day going to be a deliverer through the messiah he saw what was going to happen but poor old habakkuk just kept on enduring i see what's coming and i know i'm never going to get to live what's coming but i'm going to praise you anyway i may israel may go down judah may go down i see that one day you're going to see other people through there's a deliverance that is coming that maybe i'm not even going to get to live that's what habakkuk said i'm not even going to get to see the complete deliverance of god but anyway i'm still going to praise you i'm still going to trust you i'm still going to rely on your strength and your power to see me through my situation i'm coming to a close [Applause] verse 11 behold we count them happy which endure you've heard of the patience of job and have even seen the end of the lord that the lord is very pitiful and tender of mercy poor job we know it everything that he went through it got so bad that he finally got to a place where he said though he slay me i've lost everything my money my family my kids my wealth my health the only thing left to go is if god wants to kill me god wants to take my life that's the last thing to go i've lost everything else but if he wants to do that if he wants to slay me yet will i trust him if he wants to take from me my life yet will i trust him i'm just going to keep on believing that he's got something for me he's got a plan for me he's working something in me and we know that job was doubly blessed because he just kept on enduring he kept the faith he kept the trust in god he had patience with god he endured what god was putting him through and look how god blessed him he's going to do that for somebody here today verse 12 closing verse but above all things my brethren swear not don't curse god in the midst of what you're going through neither by heaven by earth by any other oath let your yes be yes your no be no lest you fall into condemnation what that scripture is telling us don't curse god don't get mad at god and don't make oats with god i've done it i've done it have you ever said god if you'll get me out this time oh i'll live for you like i've never lived for you before i've done it and if you're saying you haven't done it then i'm not going to call you what you are we've all done it god if you'll just pull me out this time you i'm gonna i'm gonna do this i'm gonna do that don't make oats with god don't swear unto god don't curse unto god with what you're going through just be patient with him just wait on him let your yes be yes and your no be no and be established be strong in the fact that god is working something in you that god has a plan for you in the midst of this season and this time and what you're going through let's all stand together his promise is going to come to pass in your life he's going to see you through his promises are yea and amen and he's promised me that he'll never leave me or forsake me he's promised me that no weapon formed against me is ever going to prosper that i'm going to come out then when i'm tried through the fire i'm going to come out pure as gold i've got promises to stand on and i'm waiting to see the salvation of the lord i've just got to wait on him i've got to be patient with him there's a fruit that's going to come out of this patience we'll close with this having patience with god waiting on god we get to the feast of the passover jesus is 33 and a half years of age he gives his life for the salvation of the world three days later he rises again hallelujah it's the first resurrection that he conquered for us and i can't wait for the second resurrection where i get to go to heaven with him my first resurrection was being buried in the name of jesus christ and that's for somebody here today [Music] and i look forward and i have patience for the day where that second resurrection is coming where i get to enjoy all the amenities of heaven but [Music] three days later he rises again and shows himself by many infallible proofs for forty days forty days mount of olivet he's about to ascend tells his loving disciples that are still there go wait in jerusalem for a comforter something's coming there's a promise that i'm giving you that is coming there's a deliverance that's coming there's a salvation that's coming there's a redemption that is coming there's a answer to your prayer that is coming go terry in jerusalem so that's you can argue how many days it is since he's been crucified and resurrected took three days after the feast of passover we know the pentecost was 50 days after the feast uh or the pentecost was 50 days after the feast of the passover so he's resurrected three days later so let's say that somewhere between seven to ten days seven to eight nine ten days between for those of you that are great theologians you can come and correct me later somewhere in the seven to ten day period there's a group of disciples who enter up a room somewhere patiently waiting waiting waiting could you imagine that second or third day after he had already ascended where he said go terry in jerusalem the answer to your prayer is coming there's a salvation that's coming there's a comforter that's coming there's a redemption that's coming there's a answer to your prayer to your trial to your situation it's coming can you imagine that third day being there how difficult that must have been they're still worried about their lives they're accused of stealing the body of this jesus guy and hiding it somewhere they're still probably terrified that the authorities are looking for them the cares of daily life slapping them in the face but they've just been told wait patiently there's something that's coming day four five six seven seven to eight nine ten days however many days you theologically want to believe but something happened folks [Music] in the midst of their patiently waiting on god even in the midst of turmoil and crisis and that flesh that body of jesus that they relied on is not there anymore all they've got is just a promise and hope and faith that something's going to happen that god's gonna see us through he promised us something was coming something's coming they patiently waited and i suggest to you that they weren't just there sitting on their hands that they were praying seeking and establishing one another strengthening one another seeking that promise seeking that deliverance seeking that salvation and then something so powerful and beautiful happens when they got in one mind and when they got in one accord there came a sound from heaven as of a mighty rushing wind that filled all the house where they were sitting and it appeared under them cloven tongues like as a fire the promise showed up the salvation showed up the deliverance showed up the answer to the trial and the hurt and the pain showed up but there had to be patience there had to be a season of waiting there had to be a season of establishing themselves prayer and fasting and joining together and strengthening their hearts [Music] so i tell you all here today whether you're going through something super significant and huge in your life or whether it's something that maybe would seem minuscule to somebody else but it is super significant to you and you've been battling and you've been going through it and maybe you've even seemed a little whiny we all have i do it i would suggest to you here today establish yourself get strong in your heart get strong in your spirit and say god i don't know why i'm going through this exactly but i know it must be for my benefit and to the benefit of your kingdom and i'm going to patiently not impatiently but patiently wait to see what you're going to do in my life [Music] i don't know when my deliverance is coming i don't know when my prayer is going to be answered but i've got faith in you i've got hope in you i've got trust in you and i am patiently enduring [Music] if you're facing something significant in your life it's significant to you why don't you make your way forward if you're not facing anything if you're not going through anything [Music] then thank god praise god every day that you're not facing something [Music] we're going to strengthen our hearts here today [Music] i'm not here preaching that your deliverance is coming right now though i believe that though i believe your prayer can be answered right now your trial and situation can be fixed right now and i speak that and i claim that in the name of jesus but if not let our hearts be strengthened here today let our spirits be strengthened here today let us have a fresh revival of patience in our life [Music] here's what i want to do here's what i want to do one of the very first points i gave you to establishing our strength is the edification of the body the gifts of the spirit operating between one another so we're not going to pray for ourselves and our trial in our situation we're going to edify somebody else we're going to strengthen somebody else so that they can have the patience to make it through what they're going through so everybody that has come forward find yourself somebody find yourself somebody and join with that individual now you begin to pray for that person that god would strengthen them would strengthen them spiritually would establish their heart and let the gifts of the spirit operate [Music] in the name of jesus in the name of jesus [Music] let the edification of the body of christ strengthen you today [Music] let the prayer of the righteous avail for you [Music] i see you hallelujah strengthen us god give us the patience to endure to wait on you and your timing in your [Music] [Applause] [Music] you have been process with me god you put up with me and my problems in my sin and my circumstance god that i cause you've been patient with me i want to be patient with you i want to be long-suffering with your process and your plans [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] he's [Music] he's [Applause] [Music] oh [Applause]
