The FREE Go Kart RIPS Now! Finally Getting All the POWER to Wheels!

hey guys mixer and in today's video we are back with the free go-kart now we got this thing we made a couple videos with it and then it just disappeared and you guys have probably noticed that and well that is because once we you know got off the old engine you know look through the old engine and put back on a new engine in order to get this thing to run and drive once again for the first time and I think it was like 16 years I'm still using the original clutch and the original belt and at first I mean it worked kind of but not really this belt is completely just shredded now it doesn't even hold traction I was able to drive it maybe like 10 miles an hour and it felt pretty good but then it starts slipping especially on the bottom end it took a while to get up that high and then now whenever I start up the engine the clutch like instantly engages and it makes a crazy noise and it's just starts driving on its own today I actually have a new clutch finally being delivered its average delivery right now but in the meantime just so we don't waste any time I want to go ahead and pop off this belt which won't take a lot because it's already really stretched out and I want to see if I can take this to a store that I have in mind and see if I could get a replacement belt for it and by the time we get back hopefully we have a new clutch and we could just pop this one off let me get back wait for the new one put on the new one throw on the new belt probably have to tension up and actually feel this thing this thing's power for the pretty much first time as you guys know we do having new chain on there so you shouldn't have to worry about any of that so let's just go ahead and pop off this belt real quick and we will get on the road [Music] it's like that the belt is off so before we actually get on the road I just want to give you guys a quick update with the Corvette so if you guys remember in last video this calper you know was leaking and I told you guys about it never stock that so off camera I went ahead I just got a new replacement caliper because the other one was brand new what a head and replaced it and several days later the tire is nice and dry there's no you know leaking coming down anymore and filling up the driveway this sides always been good but it's holding brake pressure with no leaks anymore so luckily the new caliper didn't end up weakening again and now this thing should be mechanically sounds for the road and then also a long side doing the brake caliper I also went ahead and took this tire back to the tire shop because as you guys know it was leaking they went ahead and checked it couldn't find anything but they remounted it cleaned up the rim clean the tire and then put like this black stuff on it to like seal the bead and it seems to be holding air now so that's also good [Music] [Music] stronger material than the black one so I guess we'll just see how this one works let's start heading back and I guess we'll start pulling the clutch already guys so we are back with the go kart and what I want to go ahead and do is just pop off the clutch and then I'm probably going to need to loosen up all the bolts that tension you know like the little bracket and everything problems gonna start off with the clutch and I guess we'll slip the belt around the back little pulley right back here so once it comes in we can just slide it right in pop this on and see how this thing feels [Music] often I have all this all loosened up so we can adjust it later but this belt as you guys can see it's so much nicer than the other one the other one I was able to like shake around in it and I mean obviously just for being worn out you can see the size difference this one is much skinnier and try rotted and this one should last much longer because the guys tell me that the red ones are a lot stronger than the black ones but guys with that being said I'm going to catch you guys back once the new clutch comes to the mail go ahead and install it and fire this thing up for the first time in a while I really haven't ran it because I wasn't able to unless I wanted it to drive through the fence but I'm definitely really excited to see how she feels with full power get into the wheels soon I'll see you guys then eventually alright guys so the new clutch just came in obviously much nicer than the old one so let's go ahead and just jump straight into it and get this Diesel [Music] so I just finished up tensioning the chain and the belt I think I got it pretty good so we're rolling it around everything seems to be pretty good so I mean with that being said I guess I'd go head fired this thing up we had a warm-up for a little bit and I guess take it for a couple spins around the yard and feels choked us on ignition on I'm gonna give it a couple of slow pulls like I used to in a couple weeks [Music] [Music] so this thing is ripping like I mean it's not like crazy fast but it feels really fast because this thing is really really bouncy and it does like to like kick at the rear ends and understeer like crazy but I was literally coming into this corner I'm sorry I kick up a rock and I was literally just skimming the very edges of these trees but it is definitely a lot faster than probably our last row with the old bow and the old clutch and everything but everything seems to be really good nothing fell off like a chain to the belt or anything like that so that's really good and I mean it stops on a dime I mean for a go-kart it's running perfect tires obviously are really really really bad I mean all four of them are just completely shot but at least it's got even tread wear but I even buckled up in this thing because it started to get a little bouncy so with that being said I mean the free go-kart is back to life and that's definitely the hardest that's been ripped probably since the nineties because when we drove it last obviously I did not drive it that hard but every guys with that being said I'm going to be ending off the video here like I was saying before with the Corvette just super soon that's even right Grammer but super soon that thing will be on the road it's mechanically ready now that the tires don't leak and it actually has brakes that don't weak as well and then once it's on the road we could go ahead and start driving it to paint shops and
