The FREE Pit Bikes Supermoto Tires are ON!

hey guys mix here and today's video we're back with the free pit buy build series it has been a little while since I've recorded a video with this pit bike and that is because most of you guys know we ran to the issue with the whole supermoto and a stock rim matchup problem it was just a whole big mess I couldn't find supermoto tires that will match the stock rims on this 2003 Honda XR 70 I brought them to a shop as you guys know and one of them did not fit at all and another one they said wouldn't fit but I was looking at this thing and I could have sworn that this thing if I tried hard enough will fit and thank God I thought that as I have some awesome news to show you guys so I didn't record putting it on because it was just it was the tightest tire I've ever put on in my life but some of you guys might be able to tell behind me this is the rear rim to the pit bike and it has the supermoto tire on it I am so happy I got this on and I didn't pinch the tube which is awesome as I usually am very notorious for you know pinching them but this thing is mint it is rock-solid I ended up yesterday and it's still holding air so that is so awesome I was so stoked when I got that thing on bad guys can see next to it I got a package in the mail because this is the rear rim and the front room doesn't have a tire so I went ahead and ordered a new one and I'm almost certain that this one will work I'm really hoping that does still gonna unbox it now and test it out here we go I'm really hoping that this fits I contacted the company 50 stunt as I've told you guys before and they told me that this tire might work so I went ahead and ordered I can already tell this is way way better whoo nice this box inside get the wrapping off of this they seems wrapped tight and it's gonna take a while but oh this is a nice time this looks like it of definitely work [Music] air is finally out and check this thing out this is a nice tire that's an IRC and r-77 and I gotta go get the front rim and kick it for now before we try and take this on and I'll compare my first front tire to the one that we have now alrighty so here is our first front tire and here's the one that we have now so how'd you guys could tell there's quite a bit of a difference there and this one obviously looks way better here's the front tire I just put it in the tire just to show you guys yeah how badly I messed up on ordering this I'm gonna take it out of this one now and a place on top of this one and hopefully won't look like this already so I just took out of the old tire and I'm just gonna lay down here oh yeah that fits perfectly around the crevices and the width looks perfect so that is awesome so now let's get to installing that tire onto the rim already so we have a little bit bad news it's not a big deal though when I was just about to start putting this rim on I saw that didn't come with the tube and I went and checked to see if I have any other tubes and I do but this one also has a leak in it but it's not big deal I can order one and maybe have it here by tomorrow we'll see I was hoping to have it all on today better right guys I'll catch you guys when we have the tube alrighty guys so we're back with the tire tube and it's actually like an hour later luckily a local store had them which is awesome so we can get to putting on the rim onto the new tire and I'm probably not gonna be putting them on today tomorrow I probably will because the Sun is beginning to sit but still I really want to get it on today and also tomorrow or today depending on the daylight I'm gonna take off the swingarm and paint that up yes I'm gonna paint it I have a really nice paint for it but anyway guys let's get started with putting on this tire [Music] all righty guys so the tire is on it was really really easy install way easier than the rear tire that's for sure but I'm gonna fill it up now hopefully didn't pinch the tube now to figure out it was a pretty clean install all right it's pretty hard all right here we go that's it the tire is done hopefully it holds air I don't think the yeah the to pinch at all but it is this is awesome so it is starting to get a little dark and I don't want the quality get all grainy on me you guys know how it is gets dark it's all grainy and stuff gonna start packing up everything now and I'll catch you guys again tomorrow when we will be getting this thing looking better on the swingarm when this thing will have super motor tires installed and we can finally progress with this build and putting on all the street legal stuff and get this thing registered so guys I'll catch you tomorrow alright so we are back into the next day and I have the two tires ready to go and the front tire is holding air same madness pressure as I left it yesterday so that is awesome and that they both axe was ready to go but before I start putting on the tires I just want to pull up the swingarm sand that down a little bit smoothing it out and then paint it quick and then while that's drying we can put on the front tire and then once that's Drive go put it back on and then put on the rear tire so let's get started with that and we'll start with taking off the swing arm and I will get it ready for paint [Music] swing arm is off and what I'm gonna do is just take the Sandy brick go at it a little bit and once it's smooth I'm going to use this paint which I've used for several builds and it all came out great I know a lot of you guys don't want me to paint it but it's gonna look better than how does right now so let's get started we're making this look better just got done with the first coat on it and it looks pretty good so I'm gonna let this dry it's like it's over 90 degrees out today so we shouldn't have to wait too long before putting on the second coat and this is tape right here I just felt like keeping that sticker that was on there I know just it maybe it a little cooler I don't know but I'll let this dry but in the meantime let's put on the front tire this is definitely to be a little tricky to keep the bike balanced because uh you know you guys see how it's rigged up because it's hard cuz it doesn't have a skid plate so it's just balancing on the exhaust and like the bottom of the engine so it's all uneven but hopefully this will be a nice easy install and I won't have to worry about the bike falling over [Music] all righty guys so this took way longer the head met I had hoped but it is on and it looks sick I'm so happy my only difficulty was for some reason to break didn't want to go on to the little outdent onto the fork like it's supposed to but that took a lot of finagling and I have to keep the bike up and everything in it was just kind of a mess but I finally got it god it looks so good oh I'm focused there you go God look so nice so now what I'm going to do is throw on the second coat then maybe I'll do a third just cuz you know I was the swingarm could get banged up over time but then it is time for the rear tire oh just a little while later and I did do the third car I did it off camera crews because you know same as all the others but this thing is dry to touch now so I'm just gonna peel off tape quick okay now that the swingarm is ready and looking mate let's throw it onto the bike so we can get this thing all good to go [Music] the swingarm is on and it looks so much better i'm so glad that i did that it really really just helped the bike clear but it looks a little bit but now it's time for the moment that we've all been waiting for with the last tire then we're gonna take this thing off the stand and see how she looks so the rear tire is on and this is going to look so cool except we have one problem of course so i it's about two hours later from the last clip and i've been trying to get on this axle nut forever and the threads on here look fine the threads on the nut look fine it's definitely the right nut but i cannot get it to grab the threads so that is annoying so I could try and just find you know it's not a huge deal but I was really hoping that would be able to just be riding it around by now but I'm gonna keep trying and see what I could do so it is quite a while later again and that's because I have just been thinking and trying to get this axle to work and I got it to work for now I found this nut which is slightly bigger than the original one and I was able to thread it on as much as possible but that's as far as I can go and then I put a lock washer under there and it doesn't move back and forth anymore which is good what are we to go ahead and do is hook up the brakes right now throw on the chain and then set this thing down for the first time and see how she stands I'm not really going to bother aligning it because I most likely am going to either be getting a whole new axle for it or seeing if I can get those threads on the axle repaired somehow [Music] all right so the chain is on it and is actually a perfect tension the lineman actually really isn't it's actually pretty good on it which is awesome but what I'm gonna go ahead and do now is take this thing off if it's sketchy stand and sit it down make sure that nothing's rubbing at all now throw on the seat and maybe take it for a ride I just need to see how that rigged up action that's gonna hold up here we go and she's on the ground so this is on the ground and it looks so sick I was kind of worried about you know you know with the slightly bigger tires that I would rub on the frame or anything but everything looks really really good so I'll throw on the seat now that'll start her up and take over just for a quick lap around the yard I've not written this thing in so long so I just put on the seat so now I'm gonna fire it up I'm gonna guess it's gonna take 3 kicks [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] maybe the quote stuck actually try hitting the carb at the end [Music] [Music] thank she's not running right she always runs good what's up with this [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] well it's not perfect we got a couple bucks to fix but you know that's to expect when I you know where to build whether that's pretty good [Music] all righty so first little test-drive was a kind of success I mean the back tire honestly didn't feel at all wobbly I mean I honestly pretty tight on there even with that you know rigged up bolt for now other than that it felt good and that skipping and grinding noise you heard was the sprocket skipping cuz or the chain skipping because the sprocket is totally shot on it as you guys could tell there's like no teeth left the chains lined up nicely so it's not the chain misaligned so I just didn't get a new sprocket which I figured it would need anyway other than that she's got supermoto tires and it's back up running and driving just because a supermoto tires on it doesn't mean that this build is done we are far from done we got to make this thing street-legal we gotta get the headlight taillight blinkers brake light all good to go we need the license plate bracket we need everything to make sure that this thing will be able to become street-legal so we do have some touching up to do but we'll probably get to that in next video with this cuz I thought I'm probably gonna order some parts for it to really make sure that this thing will be mint but I'm so happy that we finally got those tires on it's been two weeks since this build episode so it had to happen soon but anyway guys comment down below on how you guys think the pit bike looks I think it looks amazing better we're guys thanks
