"The easiest thing ever!" Brad Pitt on Deadpool 2, Bullet Train and *incredible* directors’ notes

[Music] let's ask the question we need to ask who came closest to actually hitting someone in the actual face no we actually yeah we all did that was the aim of the game just genuine contact just ask who got injured in this film and who didn't okay i i know you on your hand got a word right that's right that's right and what a little knee issue a knee happened but surprisingly enough with all the uh hitting and the balls that happened and this got out intact like but then you kind of feel bad because it's like god i could have said i got hit in the balls by brad pitt and then you're like it's not worth it i would and this sounds weird purposefully [ __ ] up just to go yeah i got totally decked by tyler durden done who is the easiest though of you three to make laugh to break i really thought you said to make love too and yeah i don't know man we all deserve man we always having a good time all the time here's the joy oh thank you brad anything you want to add [Laughter] that's it excellent and who forgot their lines most often because when i'm concentrating on trying to be punched by brad pitt i often forget my lines yeah to be honest i don't think i said one of my others one of the things so briefcase fighting in particular brad you do a lot of this just stabbed me what's the trick to clubbing someone around the head with a briefcase i think that was a hit you know dave leach had designed this thing where you know just whatever's in close proximity you know just grab what you can and get it try to get out alive yeah but there's some really inventive uh hilarious fight scenes in this thing big time knives flying everywhere when you're live the way you ruin mine dude i don't even know you and speaking of david leech are you guys aware that this man appears in deadpool 2 for like is that that are you oh yeah man like you get blown up right yeah and really what was shooting that like and how did they pitch it to you what was shooting that like much easiest thing i've ever done uh dave's an old friend of mine and he used to be in fact we met he he was my stunt double starting with fight club wow and all the way up till about 04 and then he uh went off and became a really good director which is rare rare i really i thought you're about to say something awesome which one goes surprising and you just said yeah two seconds work i'll be in front of a blue screen yeah yeah sure he and ryan called and like why not and that's the well they teach you at acting academy they go here's how you pretend to be electrocuted for three oh yeah yeah no i just had to yeah that's a good thing about brad man he'll show up you know he's down for him he'll do it so that's why it's so easy to work with them because you've got to sell being punched being shot being stabbed all that stuff yeah were the long conversations about the practicalities of no when you get hit in the shoulder it's more like can you show me that one more time when once again one second you've got to do the noise yeah yeah because they love that that's actually good guys sorry no there was a collaboration like david let us they let us play quite a bit but like because he has done this so long and understands the choreography of it all he gets in there man he really wants to make sure that you you sell it and uh there's no nothing greater than when you see him behind the camera like jumping for joy but now this was also during colby so he's masked so all you can see is like it's just this shoulder yeah if you see that then you know that you got the seal of approval well this leads me to my next question what is the most memorable bit of direction you've ever got across your whole career not just in this movie what if what notes have you been given i have i actually have an answer for this please um i worked with the director may i may remain nameless and he goes you know when a silic serial killer has a victim around the throat and chokes him till they pass out and then revives him so he can do it again do that oh my god i know god i know that director was too blunt yeah what scene of benjamin button was that wow can you top that good luck no all right right incredible scenes all right this is again across your whole career what mementos have you taken home and i love this question i'm obsessed with it but what have you taken back i rarely take i rarely rarely because you don't want to be done i mean just done with the stuff you don't want to see it again but i will take something every now and then fine if it means something like i took the watch from this one i'll take a gun sometimes okay okay you're being recorded okay come on you can be open now i'm like oh well since we're putting it all out there i mean uh what did i take um um i think i took the film [Laughter] smile [Music] oh [Music] and i have my sword from outlaw king when i did the the douglas the why that was unmemorable wow he's also supporting brad pitt yeah you got that here again it was almost it was almost as good as the mexican well look let me really let me really stay the port and this is a question for all three of you what is your favorite brad pitt movie have we seen brad pitt um you know what honestly one of my favorites was cool world goodbye you've done something extremely rare you see you're in a real place called the cool world i was like look at him making out with an animated kim basinger you know i've never seen it no i know what we're doing this weekend like i did i thought you were great brad well thank you love the show shoulder it was great it was great a bit of sick and it's a bit of stomach pain but that's how you know that you did a good job you how well i mean he touched me well i was very happy watching cool world aaron what have you got you really don't have no no i want to see you squirm i want to move on um oh just say all of them just say yeah oh yeah all of them yeah louise i mean there's plenty of options here yeah and i wouldn't do that so much you want to talk about range i'm trying to give him some help here i mean obviously it's in glorious bastards all right we've said it here we go all right all right all right we've talked about quite a few things but in the movie there's biblical bad luck like really epically awful luck for your character ladybugs supposed to be lucky you don't have bad luck really like job just spellboy falling off a rooftop i'm not even trying to kill people and someone dies i remember the suicidal bell boy you drove him to the hospital hang in there buddy bad luck right what would you say is the best bit of good luck you've had in your careers where you've gone okay meeting these guys sitting right here in this room now i'm gonna be sick aaron actually was he was over locked down he was building a treehouse and he actually fell off he backed off and fell off he backed off and backed up and fell off yeah for sure it backed off but that was preparing for the movie right that was why you did it yeah how far did you fall man it was really great 12 feet no no it's probably about it's probably about nine foot at least yeah she's alright there's enough to yeah fracture monika and still come to work man it is but it is being in this room with these guys and with this cast and doing this it really is beautiful it's one of the best things very nice um this movie has some amazing lines i'm going to say it and i know this won't be able to be put on air but eat a bag of dicks lady was just a real he's a pack of dicks lady i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm i'm working on it you know i actually brian had to correct me i think i said eat a box of dicks and go no dude it's a bag definitely a bag no dicks don't come with boxes man but you try but you gotta admit that when you can convince brad to say eat a bag of dicks you kind of that's how you know that i was like what's up okay thanks buddy does she eat them with a fork or a hat suck a bag all right great was there any room for you guys to come up with your own stuff you talked about the collaboration with the physicians tell me you were just whipping this out these guys were ripping like take after something new every take yeah but watch thomas the tank thinking here we go every take both of them yeah it's pretty ingenious what line are you most proud of that's that's you know maybe a little bit x-rated you look like every homeless white man i've ever seen hi you don't remember me you look like every white homeless man i've ever seen really you don't remember me no white white girl to yours oh my god that's probably one of the best ones and that's you yeah yeah we are princess princess club wow i'm genuinely really impressed with you thank you took that you on the train platform what what was the what was that phrase that you got to say the uh a tickety-poo yeah oh my god i'm not taking tickety poo man it's so legendary okay i'll leave you with this um there's some accents in this movie there's some skills on show we've got knife play we've got all this stuff what has been in your cv that you maybe regret putting in there that little white lie when you say yes i can ride a horse and then you go oh there you go and then you get on set and go oh yeah now i've actually got to do jiu jitsu now i had different i have a different uh take on this like when i had no resume and you gotta like you gotta fluff it yeah yeah i put in like the films that i was an extra in as like an acting part i really died on the beach i thought that you were about to say that you were a fluffer oh yeah no no i don't know that's what i i still moonlight as a [ __ ] what was that one um eat a box of dicks that was good oh yeah there you go sorry why i don't know if you crossed out and
