The owner of this car is probably the most meticulous car owner I've ever seen. His YouTube channel is just video after video of detailed work he's done on this car trying to perfect it. He daily drives it, 200k+ miles on it.
Makes me miss mine, but my 540i Touring is way more practical, if a bit slower.

Love my E39 M5 and E39 Soure FTW! Ryan is very very meticulous and I've used his DIYs quite a few times. My own M5 has an intro video up on the E39 Source channel, I need to do an update video one of these days.
If you were to ask me what the best overall car ever made was, this would be my answer, and this is coming from someone who isn’t a big BMW fan.
As fast as a then contemporary Corvette up to 150 MPH seating 4 comfortably in a car with understated, timeless styling.
I’d love one as a DD.
It really is crazy how large the 5 series has become over the years.
