Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
The interior looks really nice. Yeah, the steering wheel and the infotainment system really show their age, but the seats legitimately look like they could be from a modern Mercedes and the wood trim is just beautiful. And I'm not one of those people that look at a car from 15, 20 years ago and say "wow, this still looks modern today" just because these were modern when I was younger and I never really moved on from that.
Also, the chrome wheels look really unfortunate by today's standards, but I guess that's what people wanted in the 2000s.
Wow that car is in beautiful condition. The leather and interior trim is almost flawless. I thought I knew about all the weird German cupholders but somehow I'd never seen that one!
The sunroof cover has holes in it for airflow. This allows you to vent the sunroof and have airflow while keeping the cover closed so you don't get blasted by sun. BMW and VW do essentially the same thing.
Probably the most reliable AMG behind the C43 and C55. The facelift E63 is the complete opposite somehow.

MY TIME HAS COME!!!! Yes Doug!!
Did I miss something or did we not get the exhaust note in the discussion about the exhaust? :(
Honestly, the transmission always seems to be the weak point for AMGs. My 7 speed is the weak point for me. Not sure about the new 9 speed, though.
Wow, it looks like it's a week old
Nice condition, terrible color. These looked best in black or silver.
Ahh the ol' underseat drug and gun storage.
I think those holes in the sunroof shade are to allow airflow when the sunroof is in the TILT or VENT position while the shade is closed. I would guess the top of that cover is plastic (instead headliner material) so it can withstand a bit of dirt and moisture if you have the shade closed and the glass vented.
This allows you to mostly shade the interior from the sun while allowing air to vent out the top. It is probably useful for keeping the car cool when parked.
