[Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] welcome back to the dirt kitchen guys we got a pretty cool episode lined up this time around our first big ball four stroke a 20/20 husky Fe five oh one for Matt stays the same we've got the Pirelli scorpion their mix 32 tires front and rear other than that she's just a bog stock street-legal enduro bike my kind of bike and I'm feeling like I might have even cracked my personal best on the track we'll see what the GoPro says but let's get down to business our next special guest is charging through the Australian off-road enduro and desert racing community like a steam train he's represented Australia five times at the International 16:02 of which he's won the e3 class championship he's a former winner of the Hadar desert race and this year has wrapped up his second overall Australian Mavro championship and I tell you what I can't wait to see Daniel Sanders blow this track apart [Music] Chucky's welcome to the bar mate what do you reckon yeah she's unreal three reconditions super stoked we're here I suspect you're gonna lay down a pretty good time mate and when you do I think we might even treat you to a few laps of boost town what do you reckon oh I should media race coverage and all that but actually in the flesh see the level is operating at now well it's world-class truly world-class [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] you were flogging the guts in what sense or dealing with the track just a lot of pressure and behind me getting this last time so it's impressive to see what you require like these things out of the crane are fast they're seriously fast dirt bikes but it was clearly wasn't enough swinging off the back limiter everywhere the pace in the corners impressive what do you think of the stocker yeah it's good so the first decent ride on the on the new 20 so unreal good trail walking even on this fast suspension like if you can push it you know world-class riders can push it like this standard it's you know it's more than enough for the average punter and enough Tower I think yeah exactly it's more you know as a standard street-legal machine it's far more race bike than the most people that are buying it are ever going to use isn't it yeah sure look the last time I had really anything to do with a big bore husky was I rode the four day on a 5-10 te 5/10 back then and it was a clunky jackhammer compared to this thing how electric smooth are they off the bottom but it just builds into this it's like two different engines in the one black isn't it yeah you do with the especially the maps which they have on them standard now it's unreal you can go from aggressive and then the tiny one and then you put traction control on to so you can take this bike to any track seeing hard back wet slippery stuff they can conquer every what if you know heaven forbid your race bike got stolen it around and they just threw you a stocker how would you feel going into an hour icy round on this spot no not too bad even if I had the race boy here it wouldn't it be maybe two seconds quicker I reckon yeah not much just put some stickers and do the clickers under your eyes white spot spot anyone gotta get scolded [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] yeah you fed it to me you know what I think the dust worked in my favor oh yeah dude further ahead than I thought I would but [ __ ] you came past like I wasn't even on the truck yeah that was awesome good work welcome to burst down Jackie I know you don't need to be told what's going on here you'll be all over it but one thing I will say is you do have to be representing Australia at the Six Day in a couple of weeks so keep it clean point me the lines and give me some tips mang start over there [Music] [Music] looks like you're wondering what all the fuss was about my walk in the park for you yeah there's another day in the office mate I like the way you just cruise around now everything perfect and then applied speed to it all yeah just gotta adapt to it and 5:01 was always gonna be a good bike for you to just show up and ride around here how did you feel on it too compared to something you would race yeah I found it pretty good there real light the four-stroke sees those especially this 501 and throw it around there this track of you're strong enough it's all skill level on this track as well you've got to I've got enduro cross track at home I've been training on for years so it's you can't just get Joe Blow off the street onto this track and and adapt well but there the boy yes it works on real forests and suspension I'll surprised I've been really Road extreme stuff on it like this and you just pushing into logs and yeah until all the rocks and that and it wasn't bad at all even here off this double bit you can see you're over jumping one giving yourself no space or run up you're pretty much landing and preload cased into the next now all on a stock bike it really is a credit to the overall function of an enduro bike a oh here we go [Music] do you feel like you've been able to push to a whole new level of riding by just taking your fitness level basically oh you see all the you know Carmichael's and Reid and just Bubba Stewart on that they always train you know flat-out off the bike in there I just thought well that's what they're doing and they're on top so in our sport we've got to do the same yeah always worked hard off the boy it is fully trained and playing basketball and just doing my own thing as well just running cycling and all that now it's just pays off when you're pushing for those seconds like over say an off-road sprint laughs where you know you're battling with Milner and you're fighting over one or two seconds or three seconds or half a second it can just come down to perfecting every corner and when you you get tired you get sloppy do you yeah that's for sure at least it's just it's that close racing these days and we're pushing the limits of but no one else is done in Australia here and and in the world as well now so it's definitely pays off just putting those little one-percenters in yeah you know it's not time on the bike but it just helps of your strengthen those little sprint scenarios or your cross-country pushing that laughs they are shook you up that rosy pink funnier the cute pig it is tonight mate and you are in charge of the applesauce yeah so grew up on an apple farm you know 100 acres in the air Valley in Melbourne so spent my childhood slave around for my dad and uncles grandfather around there doing all the chores not much cuz I was mainly right of dead like that yeah still have a lot of fun around the farm help it out whenever I can and eating some apples making apple pies after sauce just you know all the rest stay out of trouble it sounds like you still absolutely love apples you know government in any way no no not yet still smash your yummy down big boar is on fire who needs salad when you've got a super pig and apple sauce this is the salad the apple sauce I'm just gonna kick things off at the 2012 for day which was quite a significant time for two things one that was me three weeks prior to the event bought that CR out of the paper in fast forward four days it wasn't so much the podium Denise rate among Toby Bryson Stefan merriment but check out the handy there must have had a pretty decent hell with to fit all laughing twelve studying not really studying but you still at school you probably didn't really have too much of a grand vision other than just making it to the next race yeah did you back there knows it was hard you just have to keep driving and pushing yourself forward and moving yourself away from you know your mates and socialising and just dedicate good life to to race dead advice and the cheaply got like the resultant Championships and stuff up one so missing all that bad stop side yeah yeah when that was also the top bit it's all I wanted to do and I know one of the prove
