[Music] amen why don't we stand and lift our hands to the lord here and just lift our voices to god here this morning father we love you so very much lord jesus we thank you for your kindness and your mercy thank you lord jesus for what you're doing thank you for what you're doing oh god in jesus name in jesus name in jesus name in jesus name in jesus name praise god amen thank you brother talbert and thank you to the musicians the choir all of our tech uh people everybody that's taking care of the sound i think we ought to give them a hand god has blessed us so much um with wonderful people all around us uh people that know what they're doing and pastor doesn't know all the tech stuff but i'm glad they do and they've been such a blessing and i want us to continue to pray for them continue to pray that we don't have any issues with any of the cox communication any of our internet you know connections especially mondays and tuesdays sundays have not been as bad but monday and tuesday night that thing tries to disrupt i think we had a lot of clapping of thunder tuesday night and uh pastor broke the pulpit accidentally i just hit it one too many times and that glass came off and landed right on my foot and um amen bible school training i just kept on preaching it was hurting like the dickens and i i told him tuesday i don't i don't know who the dickens is but it hurt like that amen and i i had our people pray for us after service and uh thank the lord they didn't even brutus didn't even bruise so thank god so i was thankful for that [Applause] and was able to uh think wednesday or thursday night get out and walk i don't know 12 13 000 steps and then friday night walk 22 000 steps which is about 12 miles something like that 11 or 12 miles and i'm trying trying to be healthy honestly i'm doing it for a few reasons one because i love my wife and son and my family but number two i love y'all and i want to be healthy and i don't want you all to bury me early amen so i'm trying i'm out there walking meeting all my neighbors like are you still out here i'll be walking it's midnight but i got to get my steps in because see that little meter clicks over to zero at 12 o'clock and it makes me feel like i didn't do anything so i got to walk as many steps before that 12 clicks over amen but some of my best prayer meetings have been out there walking at night and uh thank god for the lights that come on you know not walking in the darkness but um i want to give you a testimony i texted yesterday felt to do that and god is really moving in a very unique way because i don't talk about giving as often as we have in the last few months but i think the lord with the pandemic and everything going on uh you know god told jerusalem to give before titus destroyed it and the ones that kept everything lost everything and i just messed with y'all but god told jerusalem you need to give and they didn't give and they lost everything because titus came and burned everything to the ground now you figure out who titus is i'm not going to tell you y'all got real quiet right there my point is when god moves on his people in this dimension we better respond and uh i felt that last night and again i don't my wife and i don't always talk about what we give because that's between us and god but especially if we're moving in that direction we want to be a leader in that and be out in front say look pastors given sister hate goods given so we gave a thousand dollars a piece for me and levi and my wife so three thousand and then i thought i'm gonna do another 500 and then another 500 something like that i think it was four or five thousand this week and that's a lot of money that's a lot of money but i'm watching god do things um that is impossible for man to do and i said that last night we have over a hundred and eighty thousand dollars in our building fund right now and when july started three weeks ago we had about 95 or 96 000. so you need to think about that and so over 90 plus thousand dollars came in just in the last three weeks and um 75 or 80 000 something like that and that's amazing it's amazing but it doesn't stop there somebody texted me this morning said pastor we'll give five thousand somebody texted me last night said we'll give a thousand and then before i left the building last night to go home somebody wrote a twenty thousand dollar check and that just it really affected pasture really effective and so you know the comment they made was we want to give uh for our future we're investing in the future and uh so as last night when i texted we had 180 000 the checks hadn't even cleared yet and that puts us at about 210 000 somewhere around there and so that fast so i say thank you to the lord number one and then thank you to y'all because god's using y'all to do that and so god's gonna bless you for that and we're not gonna just throw that money away we're trying to build and uh you might be saying why are we building in the middle of all the chaos because people are gonna need a place to go and we're gonna need room amen so anyway exodus chapter 20. i wanted to give you all that good report and so just from last night to today i think that's brother bo somebody help me what's that 20 25 24 that's 29 30 that's thirty thousand in less than twelve hours from the time i texted from the time i got home that's i don't know what to say and i know the lord has spoken to us that there is a million-dollar offering out there in a 500 000 and i pray that everybody obeys what god's telling you to do and i had several people said pastor if i had the million i'd give it i said me too me too because i want my family blessed and i want our church blessed amen exodus chapter 20 turn your neighbor and say pastor loves you he's gonna try to stay off your toes turn the other neighbor and say that's not true he's not going to stay off your toes but he does love you amen exodus chapter 20 we're going to read three different portions of scripture here and are y'all hearing that ringing y'all here in that ring we got a little ringing up here that may just be me i don't know sometimes i feel like i'm preaching with a ring so i may just be pastor but exodus chapter 20 starting with verse number 19 and they said unto moses speak thou with us and we will hear but let not god speak with us lest we die and moses said unto the people fear not for god has come to prove you everybody say god's come to prove you that his fear may be before your faces that you sin not verse 21 and the people stood afar off everybody said they stood afar off and moses drew near unto the thick darkness where god was and the lord said unto moses thou shalt thus thou shalt say unto the children of israel ye have seen that i have talked with you from heaven amen you shall not make with me gods of silver neither shall you make unto you gods of gold i'm going to stop there for the sake of time job chapter 20 as well and verse number 26 job 20 and 26 all darkness shall be hid in his secret places turn to your neighbors a secret places a fire not blown shall consume him it shall go ill with him that is left in his tabernacle and now second chronicles chapter six verse one it's also first kings eight and twelve but it's the same scripture uh so we'll just read second chronicles 6 and 1. then said solomon the lord hath said he would dwell in the thick darkness the lord has said he would dwell in the thick darkness now this morning i titled it don't ever ever ever ever ever ever ever be satisfied but then i changed it in the middle of preaching and i will title it this morning the dimension of the dissatisfied the dimension of the dissatisfied let's put our bibles down ask the lord to help us father we love you so very much lord and we take divine dominion and authority over every principality every power every ruler of the darkness of this world every spiritual wickedness in high places and every strong man lord that is within the spiritual jurisdiction that you've given unto us lord we bind them and we break their influence by the authority of the word of god and by the authority and power of the holy name of the lord jesus christ anoint our minds and our hearts and our spirits and our ears to receive your holy word let it fall on good ground let it take root and let it bear fruit worthy of you lord let a spirit of revelation and understanding and insight and foresight be multiplied upon us in the name of the lord jesus christ father touch my mind and give me clarity and loose my tongue and cause me to speak as your oracle and your mouthpiece only allow me to say what you want me to say father and we'll be quick to give you all the praise and all the glory and all the honor and everybody said in jesus name let's clap our hands to the lord one more time you can be seated in the fear of god there are three different references here there are actually more than that but i'm just using the three for the sake of time today there are three different references to god dwelling in a thick cloud of darkness that god does things in the darkness amen the bible also says in the book of genesis that in the evening and the morning were the first day and the evening and the morning were the second day god always starts creating in the evening amen he always creates things starting at evening time because it gives him the privacy he needs in order to reveal in the morning what he's been working on all night that's why it says weeping may endure for the night but joy cometh in the morning so the weeping is because god is dealing with you and working on you but joy comes in the morning so there's a revelation of the morning if you can make it through the night so if you're able to make it through the night season your morning season will be a whole lot better and a whole lot nicer there's joy waiting on you but you have to endure the night amen it's what he said weeping may endure for the night but there's always a but in god's economy if you will then i will if you'll do this then i'll do this satan tried this but you tried this but there's always a but in god's economy in other words he will always respond to your level of digging in or your level of response as well so it even begins in the book of genesis and i'm trying to hurry here when he talks about the evening and the morning with the first day he does things and creates things in the evening hours he does things in that quiet time while everybody is sleeping for two reasons one it gives him time to work in darkness and he can reveal his masterpiece in the morning but number two it's for your privacy because you don't want god operating on you in public with all the lights on you want god to turn the lights down in a thick place of darkness to be able to deal with you and to deal with all of your sin and deal with all of your idiosyncrasies and things that you've put in your spirit things that shouldn't be there and so god in his kindness and his sovereignty will take you to a place of darkness in order to fix you in a place where nobody can see you and so when he does reveal the morning and the next day you're all better there's health that's there now things have been dealt with your spirit is right things in your mind are right but god is so kind he allows the darkness to come in order to deal with things so that he can reveal you to the rest of the world and to the church the next day amen and so going back here to moses in the book of exodus chapter 20 part of the issue here is that the people of god have come to moses and said you know you're not the only one that can hear the voice of god we can hear the voice of god and if you go back and study that some of the main culprits were miriam and aaron which were the brother and sister of moses and i said this this morning i'm not picking at my family that's here but it's always dangerous when family starts to pick at you as the man of god in your life because even god gave miriam leprosy for seven days and made her sit outside the camp and the entire nation of israel didn't move for seven days because miriam opened her mouth and said i hear from god too and so it's very dangerous to start competing with the individual that is referred to as the man of god or the woman of god in your life there is no competition there there shouldn't be a spirit of competition there i do not compete with my pastor i still don't compete with my pastor as far as i get in god he's always higher as far as i go in god he's always hiring he called me yesterday and i was saying papa what do you think about this what do you think about that why i'm acquiescing to him because he's the man of god in my life and if he's the man of god in my life god's given him insight to things i don't have amen so it's dangerous and even one translation says that they went to the bathroom and spoke against moses and so i told him this morning i said the devil may not go to the bathroom with you but god will y'all catch that here in just a minute there's some places even the devil's like i'm gonna wait on you outside but god's like no i'm gonna come right on in walk through the door i'm fine i'm use i've been changing diapers a long time he said amen so there's some places you should just be careful but they were they thought they were exempt because they were in a bathroom setting and god said i heard you speak against the man of god in the bathroom and he said call the assembly together amen and so the point of that story is that's where the setting you kind of get the setting of where moses is and he said i wish you were all prophets in other words i would my job would be easier if you were all hearing from god the way i'm hearing from god and so therefore they go to moses and said we want to hear from god too and so therefore he goes to the lord because he's the mediator the shepherd and god says you know what that's fine you can have them come and meet me but take them three days tell them they're going to fast and pray they're going to consecrate themselves i want them to wash their clothes i want the men to not come at their wives for three days and they're going to consecrate themselves and on the third day i will come down on the mountain and then you decide how far they get to the mountain before i kill them which is a very dangerous passage of scripture because you find out that god actually left it up to moses where to put the line and so the man of god has the right to put the line wherever he wants to put it and god will back it up when i say the line i am not talking about doctrine or holiness that is not what i'm referring to that line is pastoral preference because i've heard people say well i prefer to not preach the gospel that's not what god was talking about i've heard people misquote this scripture and say well god will back me up god will not back you up if you are scripturally wrong are you hearing me if you are doctrinally wrong he will not back you up he backs up his word and if you are preaching his word he will back that up amen and now that's a whole nother i'll have to teach on that later because there are men that have gotten out of the word and god allowed it for a season to give him a place to repent they never repented and he would have ch anyway long story i'll have to teach on that later there's too many variables in this short amount of time but he was making the point you decide how close to the mountain they get and i will honor it in other words there's certain things we cannot compare ourselves to any other church because there are certain things it's a pastoral preference it is not a heaven or hell issue it is something that god has dealt with me about in prayer and i prefer you not to do it does that make sense it's not a law it's a preference a law is acts 2 38 a law is there's one god a law is first corinthians 11. the hair issue is actually a law that's not a suggestion i know everybody wants to make it a cultural thing and i've heard people say well some cultures their hair doesn't grow as long as others i don't remember the bible making it an issue of that long in the i don't know why i'm on this long in the greek language means uninterrupted or uncut so it doesn't remind you it doesn't mind or matter what culture you are of it's uninterrupted hair and so don't let somebody tell you and say well god said long hair well you don't have long hair it's not about long it's about uncut that's a whole nother story so that's a law that's that's a commandment that's not a suggestion that's not up in the air and that's not up for grabs like well i think i'll preach this today and excuse it tomorrow that's not how that works but a preference would be like pastor prefers you not to go to the movie theater that is a preference it is not a heaven or hell issue i remember a few years ago i told somebody they asked me about it i don't think it's a good idea and then a few weeks later they had a shooting in the movie theater here in lafayette and so it's just one of those and i'm not saying god did it to make a point my point is you're dangerous anywhere you can go to a restaurant and somebody lose their mind the point is there are certain things that pastor just was taught when i was a kid and i feel like they're good principles and they still apply today and if you want a bible study on why i tell you not to go i'll give it to you but most of it's going to come down because i told you so also because i was a 14 year old kid and i know what they do in those theaters i might as well hit it right on out of the park instead of laying down the button running to first also you can say well they're playing moana moana's a disney cartoon but what did they play last week what are they playing in the theater right next door it's all in the same building and they've got horror movies and disney and all kinds of fornication and adultery and and you're just right there with the lights off enjoying it with 300 of your closest friends that you have no idea who they are anyway i gotta stop i gotta stop i've heard i've heard all the excuses well it's funner i'm sure it is pastoral preference some of you are like cancel those movie tickets people are texting their spouse we ain't going we're not going we're not going we're not going but that's a preference i'm trying to give an example that's a preference that's not a gospel doctrine it's because pastor doesn't want you to go okay there are some pastors that preach against the rodeo different things just things that i think pawpaw uh preached not to go to the rodeo here brother long before i came and uh we were raised going to the rodeo because brother kilgore loved the turkey legs but when papa was pastor here that's law as far as as far as he's concerned and so people have asked me can we go to the rodeo i'm like well call papa and then call me and whatever's in the middle we'll do that because i want to honor the past and still move on with the future you hear what i just said we're going to honor the past and honor paw paul because his conviction was genuine and you can't judge another man's prayer life until you've been in their closet on their altar i'm more teaching than preaching on the second session here but moses let the people know look we're gonna after three days we're gonna move on to that mountain and the bible says that god descended on the third day in a thick cloud of darkness there was thundering there was lightning the whole mountain began to shake there was fire it was a very fearful thing to experience and when the voice of god spoke it said it sounded like shriel trumpets in other words it wasn't a gentle voice that you would think would come from god it was so full of authority because see in the old testament god had not yet manifested himself in the man christ jesus when he showed up in the man of christ jesus he came meek and lowly but in the old testament he showed up in power and authority and demonstration so his voice was booming then you move to the book of revelation after calvary after the resurrection and his voice goes from being gentle and from being that loud boisterous voice of the old testament that gentle voice of the man christ jesus but now in the book of revelation his voice sounds like the voice of many waters why does it sound like that because there's an echo when he speaks it's a multitude of echo it's a multitude like crashing waters crashing waves it's loud it's boisterous why he's going back to being was what he was in the beginning but he's now added himself in the body of christ jesus so when you see god you will not see a dove and see a spirit floating around you will see the man christ jesus with the fullness of god dwelling in him bodily but he will no longer be man he will be god who fused with man and became one and now they are going to be completely one it's not two separate beings that's why there's there's no uh understanding and a trinitarian concept there's only one god and his name is jesus christ and so whenever you look at christ or whenever you look at christ when you get to heaven if you get there amen you are to know that he is the one sitting on the throne i don't know why i'm on this but i'm here there's only one sitting on the throne and it is not god the father talking to god the son it is god period sitting on the throne in flesh of the man christ jesus but it was glorified after calvary which is why mary magdalene didn't recognize him because he looked different when he came and she thought he was the gardener i've been preaching on this for the last few weeks and i can't get away from it she did not recognize him and she was intimately connected to christ but he looked different after calvary because of glorification [Music] he was glorified that's why i said don't touch me i haven't been to the mercy seat yet amen and so this thick cloud of darkness shows up and here's where uh i preached this many years ago even here in our home church where i preached about the fact that and brother morgan's the one that taught me so i give honor to my shepherd he taught me this particular lesson about moses and the thick cloud of darkness if you study this out in that hebrew tongue you will find that god is telling moses i am not interested in the curiosity seeker in other words i am not interested in somebody living for me part-time i am not interested in showing myself to somebody who is not willing to seek my face and so therefore i hide in a thick cloud of darkness and if you really want to see my face you're going to have to walk through some dark places and some dark times in order to get to that glorious light but see the people of god told moses we don't want to go there you speak to god and you tell us what god is saying this is fearful we are afraid of him his voice sounds like shriel trumpets we can't understand what he's saying there's no clarity we're at the bottom of the mountain we're not that thick cloud of darkness we want no part of that and so therefore they made a deal with moses you go in there you talk to us and you talk to god and tell us what god is saying so therefore if you study the life of moses you will find that when that thick cloud of darkness ascended or descended upon that mountain the mountain of god and that lightning was there and that thundering was there and that fire was there and it began to shake that moses was not intimidated moses was not nervous moses didn't get lost he said you're in there somewhere i know i'm in some darkness right now but there's some glorious light about to be revealed to me and moses just kept walking through the light and you might say well pastor what if he would have fallen off the mountain that's the thing if you're willing to walk in the darkness with god god will make sure that your steps are ordered of the lord and he will not let you fall to the left or to the right or slip off the side of the mountain because just because you can't see where you're going if you'll hold on to his unchanging hand he'll walk you through that darkness until you see his face and that glorious light of revelation and understanding comes upon you that's why moses was the one that wrote the first five books of the bible or the pentateuch that's why moses was the one that saw the book of genesis exodus leviticus numbers deuteronomy it was moses who had a front row seat to when god created the heavens and the earth god looked at him and said son since you've walked through darkness with me let me show you where i came from let me show you what happened in the beginning and therefore it is moses who writes in genesis chapter one in the beginning there was god and the lord did this and the lord did this and the lord did that and he said let there be light and there was light moses was there for the first sunrise moses was there for the first sunset moses was there when the moon was shining in her strength moses was there whenever god said here's the stars and flung them like a curtain moses had a front row seat why because he walked through the thick cloud of darkness and said it may be dark for a season it may be a long night but there's some joy coming in the morning there's something on the other side of darkness [Applause] it's a reason moses saw that and god gave it to him so clear that he said by the way on the sixth day that's when i got my hands dirty and i made adam and moses is standing there in revelation because god took him back in time he's the first time traveler pastor where was the time machine it was in the cleft of a rock because moses said let me see your glory god said i can't let you see my face moses didn't ask to see his face he said let me see your glory but to god his glory is his face everybody wants his hand nobody wants his face his hands are his power it's five fold ministries gifts of the spirit but see that's where the things of god are the power of god but the face of god is his personality you get his expression so if all you have are his hands you're powerful but you don't know god oh i'm powerful in the spirit i can praise somebody through the holy ghost what does jesus look like tell me about his expression is he smiling today or is he upset because god has i'll mess with y'all here god has bad days and the fact that you don't know that tells me you don't know him i didn't say he had a nervous breakdown god doesn't have a nervous breakdown but there are days he gets tired of people blaspheming his name and cursing his name and going after israel and attacking his church and there are days see the bible says that there are certain people the bible says that joshua ministered unto the lord he ministered unto the lord god told moses his problems pastor i don't think you can prove that i'm so glad you said that moses get out of my way i'm going to kill them all they're all stiff-necked why is he telling moses that god had a bad day one too many quoras one too many merriam's she put her tambourine down and started talking that's a message when mama puts the tambourine down make a mental note when she puts the tambourine down and stops worshiping she'll start talking anyway talking will get you in trouble but he begins to talk to moses said hey it's been a rough day i'm gonna go ahead and kill everybody and i'm gonna start over with you and moses was like lord comes he was the first psychologist before sigmund freud the perverted sigmund freud that's on the internet he had mommy issues go read it amen long story sister gill's probably listening somewhere she studied all that she's gonna be like pastor this yeah i know i know so here's moses the first unpaid psychologist didn't get paid to do it and god sits on the couch and moses uses reverse psychology on him and he said now lord tell me what's going on well i'm tired of this tired of that tired of this tired of that tired of this they're stiff neck they're not listening they want to go back to the garlic and the leeks instead of to the milk and the honey and so moses has to spend that time brother talbert talking to god and talking him out of his anger i feel like i've lost some of you right here and so moses tells the lord now lord you need to repent what would all these nations say about you let's look at your reputation now does it sound familiar because i've given some of you all the same speech only i don't have a couch you'll sit on it's just a chair with some coffee what would all these people say about you if you got this far and decided to walk away now all this warfare all this living for god and then just one day i'm done i'm offended i'm hurt my feelings are hurt i'm done living for god and you're gonna have to stand before sweet little saints of god were poor that never missed a service never missed their tithing never missed their offering never missed a prayer meeting never missed a day talking to god and when they get to heaven it's going to be them that we're going to be looking at saying they're the real heroes preached that before just hit me again right there but moses has to talk god off the couch and say you need to forgive all of them because if you do this all the nations of the world are going to say you had the power to bring them out but you didn't have the power to take them in and god's like you know what moe you're right think you got a point now here's what's interesting god knows the beginning from the ending knew that moses would talk him out of it and so that's why he went to him because he knew that moses would take the time are you hearing me right now to console god [Music] the bible says that lots of people brother tallbert i said this in the 9 a.m they know the laws of god they know about the spirit of god but the bible says of moses he knew the ways of god in other words he knew god's psyche he knew his personality he knew his heart and he knew his spirit and he understood how to navigate god's emotions so it is possible to know all the rules and regulations and not know him now if you love me keep my commandments jesus said this so you can't disregard the rules and regulations because those commandments are not suggestions he didn't say if you love me keep my suggestions he said keep my commandments those are orders and so you have to keep those commandments that's a part of your expression of love to god but you can love god and not know god i'm trying to hurry you can actually say lord i love you i love you and it's genuine you love him but you don't know him if i were to give somebody many of you the microphone and say tell me something about god you would say well he's sweet he's kind that's the big three he's sweet he's merciful he's kind he's long-suffering and then you start talking about the church you're going to tell me about the church but you're not going to tell me about god because you know more about the house of god than the god of the house and here's how i know this if you knew the ways of god there are certain things you're going through that wouldn't be causing you to be completely falling apart because there is darkness before revelation and the holy ghost dealt with me about this and he said there is a and i preached it this morning i changed the title because the lord actually spoke that to me while i was preaching in revelation this morning talking about the dimension of being dissatisfied in other words moses was not satisfied with the bottom of the mountain experience he was saying i want more of god and he was willing to pay the price through the darkness to get to the light and because he was willing to pay the price you have those first five books of the bible and moses walks with god so much so that the bible says at his death there was not another prophet that arose like unto moses where god spoke to a man face to face as he does his friend moses was more than a prophet he was more than a great pastor he was a friend of god so much that god defended him without him asking this is not even the same feeling as it was in the 9 a.m it's almost like a different vein altogether and god's dealing with something here this thick cloud of darkness though is where a lot of our people are and they are very tired of the darkness and of the confusion but if you will just stay on the journey and keep looking the bible says if you seek you shall find if you knock it shall be opened unto you all of these things are in the word of god he's going to make sure that if you seek you're going to find if you ask you're going to receive if you knock it's going to be opened unto you to him that seeketh he findeth to him that asketh he receiveth and to him that knocketh that is opened unto him so therefore the key phrase there is that you have to keep pushing you have to keep praying you have to keep knocking on the door you have to keep asking you have to keep seeking if god doesn't answer you the first time you need to pray again well you can say pastor i've fasted for three days and nothing happened fast another three days pastor i prayed and nothing happened pray again because if you'll keep praying and keep fasting and check yourself and make sure your heart is right with god then everything you're asking for will be pushed through because what god will do is he'll start sending angels saying push those prayers through get those prayers through all that warfare that's there they're walking through a thick cloud of darkness but they keep on pushing because the spirit of moses can come on you and you can say you know what he's in there somewhere i know he's in there somewhere and i'm going to keep walking until i find him and if you'll keep walking till you find him god will bring you out of the situation you're in because that's the price of revelation i got to hurry even moses are going back to job job said and i've got to hurry i'm trying to hurry job chapter 20 verse 26 when he said all everybody say all darkness shall be hid in his secret places that's not singular it's plural in other words there's not just one secret place there is a multiplicity of secret places and there's multiple places that god has but most people never get to those places because they're just satisfied with living for god on level number one they know where all the jumps are i'm using game references here like super mario brothers when i was a kid we prayed that our prayed that we played that we didn't pray that we played that when we were kids and you played it enough that you learned brother sahati i learned all the where the mushrooms were and how to get bigger and see now y'all are like pastor's being carnal no there's a good spiritual principle here i learned those levels where i could do it with my eyes closed but then when you get to level two now everything's in different places and these levels have different places they have different secret places for the one-up now you got to jump over here and these coins are here then if you get 100 coins well i'm just having flashbacks right now you get those coins and you get a free man but you got to learn where the little secret places are why how do you do that by repetition you play something so long you'll learn where the secret places are you can pray so long god will start saying here stop here jump here stop here jump here there's a free man there's this over here there's a blessing [Applause] here's a revelation here's some understanding this is why this isn't working this is why she's backslid this is why your finances are locked up this is what's going on this is what's in your heart why because you found the secret places and then there's even something called the warp zone why am i preaching on the super mario brothers you can actually warp from one level and skip five you better hear me right now there are secret spiritual warp zones in the spirit that you can actually stumble yourself into and say hold on how did i just go from level 2 to level 10. what happened you found a secret place there was darkness there but you found a secret place and when you found the secret place you got moved into something you may not have been prepared for but because you were seeking the face of god you were going after the face of god you were crying out to the lord god said i'm going to give you something that's going to push fast forward on your growth but the problem is most people get on level 1. acts 2 38 a few holiness scriptures i'm living for god no you're not you're existing for god you're existing and the holy ghost is saying i got more there is a dimension of the dissatisfied and he tells job they're secret places but all darkness is in those secret places in other words if my people are willing to walk through thick darkness there are things i want to show them but i can't get anybody to walk through the darkness long enough to survive the night they always pull out of the trial they always remove themselves because see in the darkness it's very lonely because there's other people in there but they don't know you're in there because it's so thick you can't hear them you hear a faint sound every now and again to give you hope and you're like hold on somebody else is in here too but i know it's not the lord that must be one of my brothers and sisters they got lost in here with me but if we'll just keep moving towards that voice of god because there's always a voice of god it may sound like shriel trumpets at first you might be like man that's really loud man that kind of hurts he just dealt with my flesh he just dealt with my spirit something in my mind that shouldn't be there and if you'll listen in that thick cloud of darkness god will begin to do surgery on you and start dealing with things and so by the time you get to him all these things that you've been struggling with will start being dealt with and when you come out on the other side i know i'm repeating myself but i feel to say that again when you come out on the other side there'll be a revelation and there'll be some understanding that'll come to you and our people are living way below way below their potential i'm trying to close solomon when he was doing his dedicatorial prayer of the temple solomon's temple there in jerusalem it says in a thick cloud of darkness okay and he said and god is in it god is in the thick cloud of darkness see solomon went through a dark time job went through a dark time moses went through a dark time but they came through it that's why they can write about it do you know what would have happened if moses job and solomon would have said this is too much too much darkness you wouldn't know who they are you wouldn't know who they are because they would have never made it on the other side to write about their experiences and some of you you're about to walk through this on the other side i'm telling you in the holy ghost god's trying to tell you you're just a few steps from darkness to light and you've been in there so long that your eyes have adjusted somebody hear me your eyes have adjusted to the darkness but you're about to have a blinding experience of light that comes and all of a sudden the iris of your eye is going to start focusing and all this light's going to start filtering back into your brain and back into your psyche and you're going to look around and say man i've never seen the world this way before i've never seen the church this way before i've never seen the ministry this way before i've never seen the word of god this way before i've never seen jehovah god this way before i have never seen the faith his face is so beautiful why didn't you tell me sooner why didn't you tell me it would just take some time to get there because god is not interested in the curiosity seeker he wants all of you and that's why he weeds people out and says if you want me come get me i'm here if you want me climb the mountain there's always a climb cnc by the time you climb the mountain your muscles are tired your spirit is tired your mind is tired but since you've already made i'm talking to you right now since you've already made the journey uphill and you've already climbed the mountain your muscles may be giving out on you but just take a little breather get a sip of water and step into that darkness and say i'm gonna find you lord i'm gonna find you why because i'm dissatisfied i am not satisfied with where i'm living i'm not satisfied with my level of revelation i am not satisfied with my level of relationship with you i am not satisfied with what's going on in my family i am not satisfied in my prayer life i'm not satisfied in my ministry i'm not satisfied with what's going on why because you're trying to move from one dimension of being satisfied to the dimension of the dissatisfied and if you'll take that leap and say hold on there's a whole lot more to god than meets the eye and i don't want to be stuck over here and miss that revelation i'm going to walk through that darkness into his glorious light into that marvelous face of jesus christ and i'm going to get the revelation he promised me i could have let's stand i'm trying to close let's stand i feel like i need to share this i don't share this often i've said it a few times but i've had a few people ask me you know pastor tell me about your prayer life or what not and that's very intimate for me it's very hard to talk about but i need to there were a lot of things i had to break through as a kid a lot of spiritual battles and um i used to grab my we didn't have my lord i wish i would have had the little iphones when i was a kid and the little earbuds that have been so nice and have all my my sermons from brother kilgore and and my pastors on there and i could just press a button i didn't have that i had those cassette tapes some of you kids don't know what i'm talking about they're little white cassette tapes that you put in and it just starts rolling and they wear out after like the 400th time some of you are like is that on instagram no it's not you missed it but i'd get me eight or nine or ten brother kilgore brother morgan for the barnes for the ewing brother pew get their tapes for the tallbird not go to the church by myself late at night about ten o'clock nine o'clock at night while all my friends were playing video games probably mario that's way that's the 80s i don't know what they're playing probably something else in the 90s i can't remember i was too busy praying i didn't know sorry i didn't really play much back then dynasty warriors that's what it was yeah y'all didn't know i knew that did you i'm still flesh by the way um and i would go up there by myself and i'd stay and i'd press play and i turned the air conditioner on frigid and the whole church that church was massive too and it's a little church at night is a little different but now in here it's not his bags it's a smaller building but you get in a big building and it's dark all the way in the sanctuary and you've got i was upset upstairs there was a track that went around and there was a room i called it my upper room that's where one of the sunday school teachers were and i'd go up there by myself i'd put a tape in and i'd walk turn the lights off have a little lamp that was in there and i just prayed i didn't even know how to pray i just talked to god and listened to preaching and the power of god would move in during the altar call or during the preaching i'd start praying and i'd feel stuff breaking off of me and the tape would end put another tape in the tape went in i'd put another tape in and then a herbal bean i listened to all the verbal beans tapes had all of my dad's stack of tapes and i just listened to him by the hour and there were many times i watched the sun come up i was dissatisfied with where i was in god and so i took from the shelves of other men of god and said teach me about him and i'd listen to them preach and then it just something that anointing that was on them would get on me and i could see how then i learned and i'm trying to help somebody then i learned how to submit myself in the spirit not away from brother kilgore because you get in trouble submitting to another man of god and getting out from under your pastor's covering because then you'll start hearing voices that aren't god it's another lesson but i had god had to teach me how to stay under pappacai my pastor and listen to another man of god and stay submitted but get impartation pastor what does that mean i had to learn god would say open your spirit here what does that mean lord what does that mean to open your spirit relax he said physically just do this with your chest now yeah it sounds crazy to y'all but he was teaching me and i was like okay if anybody sees me they're gonna think i'm crazy but then up for the lamont i would feel a burning right here i said lord what is this that is impartation what are you imparting i'm imparting a prayer a part of their prayer life into you i'm imparting some of their experience into you and brother kilgore would tell those stories by the hour tell those stories about his his parents and the miracles and the signs and the wonders and i'd sit there on my knees and i'd weep and i'd cry and the spirit of travail would come on me and i'll just sit there and the tape would already be done and i just i got lost in prayer and then before i knew it five months had passed and six months had passed and then i noticed my prayer tongue began to change and then i noticed devils started showing up devils didn't show up when i first went to prayer but with those devils i don't know why i'm on this angels came and i'd feel this cool breeze like lord what is that he said that's my angel i said okay what's he here to do he's here to protect you so you could pray in this dimension okay lord what do i do he said well go stand over there write this on the chalkboard what was he doing he's teaching me how to hear his voice because i had never heard his voice i was in a darkness i was just like i know you're here i know i feel you but it's so dark it's so lonely and my friends are making fun of me and they're playing video games and eating at tgi fridays and they're flirting with the girls and they're calling the girls and they're hanging out watching movies and i they're just doing things and i they're just existing but they're preachers and they they're just they want it but that wasn't for me i said no no no there's more there's secret things that you've you've got hidden over here and and if you've got a secret place that means you've got somebody that would be hungry for a secret place or you wouldn't create a place that was secret unless you wanted somebody to find it and then these revelations brother morgan's preaching during that time and he would talk about being uh in oatmogee oklahoma on saturday nights and at about nine o'clock on saturday nights in his bedroom in his living room actually downstairs he said the presence of god would walk in he said it was like jesus walked in himself and he said he would begin to talk to me and my family would be asleep through the whole night and i would do warfare against things but he would sit on the couch not just he would sit on the couch and he would talk to brother morgan and he would be writing things revelations and things he didn't know and he told me he said son many times i watch the sun come up on sunday morning go take a shower shave and get dressed walk to the pulpit and preach what god gave me saturday night and then he said i wouldn't even be tired i wouldn't even be exhausted why because i'd been in a secret place with god and i heard those stories as a 21 year old young man and i said if god will do it for brother morgan he'll do it for me so i took his tapes and i began to listen to those experiences i said okay god i want to go to that place and god will say all right now you're talking now you're talking my language because if you seek me you shall find me if you knock it shall be opened if you ask you shall receive and to he that asketh he shall receive and the he that knocketh he'll find and all of these things and so god was teaching me if you'll just keep pushing the door down if the door is locked knock on the door until i come and answer the door be that little woman that came to the unjust judge and said i want you to avenge me of my adversaries i hate to tell you church i am that little woman knocking on the door of god's heart saying i'm going to hear i'm going to knock until you open i'm going to knock until you answer i'm not going to leave you alone i'm not going to leave you alone you are stuck with me [Music] can take you to the place take you to the place i was preparing i didn't realize i was preparing myself i was listening to these things and i i'd get up to testify and this something would come on me like what is that he said that's my anointing i imparted it to you you didn't have it before and i'll never forget november 21st 2000 right after right after thanksgiving i'll never forget sitting on that front row on the left side and brother morgan was preaching about the result of a relationship and he was talking about i don't know why i'm on this but how you just started talking about and something hit me and i doubled over and i began to just kind of dive in like this i didn't even know it was called daviding yet because i was still learning i was in bible college and i didn't realize that's what the jews did but i was dominating so that's not something that you learn that's actually something that's so old it goes back to the jewish tradition from the days of old from those prophets that's how they would pray they would dove and they still do it today in israel and i'm not saying you have to do that but there's a natural instinct when that spirit of travail comes on you that's why you're doing that because it's something old you've tapped into something old you've tapped into an old well when you begin to move into those dimensions and i was sitting there just dabbing back and forth i said god i don't know what i'm feeling but i'm burning i feel like i'm burning alive on the inside and the power of god moved in and people began to shout and begin to dance but i couldn't stand up i was just sitting there and i heard over the microphone when brother morgan said what's his name and i heard brother kilgore say jonathan and uh pastor jim too jonathan hey good he said jonathan hey good come here and he said you told me i was gonna pray for you because see i had an instinct about three months prior i told him i said brother morgan sometime in this revival you're going to pray for me something's going to happen i feel it in the holy ghost all right son when the time is right i'll pray for you and he told me that night on november 21st i'll never forget it the longest day i live and he grabbed me by the jacket by my suit and yanked me all over that platform and he said you can't just sit here and live on the prayers of your mother and your father you have to lift your voice and say i know you gave it to my mother i know you gave it to me lord but you're gonna have to give it to my dad but you're gonna have to give it to me now because he has to be the god of jonathan haygood and not just the god of harry hey good and i'm trying to help you right now he can't just be the god of jonathan hey good he's got to be the god of brandon sheeran he's got to be the god of beau leblanc he's got to be the god of brother wilson why because it has to be personal called me out and my mother went into a spirit of travail like i have never heard her if you go back i've still got the tape you can hear my mother over 1800 people and that whale it staggered me i said i've never heard my mother pray like that i've heard her pray but there was something and it was like you know it awakened in her something him calling me out awaken an old anointing i asked her later said mom what was that she said i was birthing your father's ministry she said i had been holding on to it all these years but when brother morgan called your name said i had to birth it but see that's what prayer does that's what that travail and intercession does you birth something in the spirit that's not even available and she began to birth that she began to wail and when she did brother morgan said you start over there with brother kilgore with brother uh there were three men of god that were there and he said you're gonna they're gonna lay hands on you and their giftings and their talents and their spirits and their mantles and the anointing of that is gonna be imparted unto you and then you come over here to me and i'm gonna lay hands on you and everything i've got and that was shelly hendricks jim kilgore and brother james l kilgore and then brother morgan and they both laid hands on me all three of them but when i got to brother morgan he said thus saith the lord that's when my life changed pastor how did you get there i sought the face of god [Music] i prayed till my voice went out i fasted till i was so skinny my pastor rebuked me why because i was dissatisfied i had found a dimension of the dissatisfier i wanted more i wanted more i wanted more i still want more it never gets old he never gets old every day every day i want more i want more i
