The Deltarune Iceberg Explained

hello everyone uh delta taylor here uh today i'm going to be going over the deltoon iceberg i actually found a couple icebergs online that i was planning on using but then i just decided to change course and actually make my own the reason why i did this is because i thought that the two icebergs weren't that good they have some good parts of it but they weren't over all that good and i felt like i can make something better so i took the better aspects of those two icebergs i found online i basically added like the better things to my own iceberg and i added like a couple other things i thought like we're missing from the two icebergs here so here's the iceberg i'll be using again i made it if you want to make your own video of this delta and iceberg feel free go ahead i don't really care personally you don't have to credit me or anything you can't if you want i i don't really care also if you happen to not know what iceberg is it's basically just taking like a media property like a video game or movie or something like that and basically just talking about information about it it could be like theories like straight up facts about it and the higher the information is on the iceberg the more known about it is and the more lower the information is on the iceberg the more obscure it is now so by the way i apologize if i didn't organize this degrees because like i said i made by myself i wasn't quite sure how to organize it and if you want like me to cover more about delta rooms i feel like i covered the majority of stuff but if you want me to cover a bit more that i missed please let me know and i'll gladly make a part 2 if enough people want me to and let's just get right on into it [Music] jello's voice lines as we all know jebel is a tough and optional boss you can fight in delta and who's very weird and you can find in card castle the whole jebel's voice lines thing refers to how jebel has many voice actor lines in both english and japanese in the game and i'll play them for you i can do anything chaos gaster's theme in deltarune w gasser is probably the biggest mystery at all of undertale because he somehow disappeared from existence and his mysterious persists and death turned by the many instances you can hear of gasser's thief mainly in the dark world but you can also hear in other places as well i'll list some examples of gaster's theme and alter it and i also play a few instances for you some examples include another hymn scarlet forest card castle and chaos king although some examples one heard or obviously connected the gaster's theme some other songs are a bit more subjective depending on how you hear it keeping this in mind i'll play a few examples that were made by the youtuber media modis i'm gonna link their channel description and here are the examples [Music] [Applause] [Music] the prophecy i'm sure we all know this one that's why it's on the sky level uh this is the legend that rousey tells you the star of the game about how a human a monster and a prince from the dark will come to save the world the harmony of light and dark were ever to shatter only they can seal the fountains and banish the angels heaven which saved the world the legend also talks about how another fountain along with the original one has appeared which is shifting the balance of light and dark towards the darkness side the strange thing about this prophecy is that we don't technically complete it the only thing we do is seal the second fashion so chris and susie can return home i know banis whatever the angel's heaven is but we maybe will do that in the next chapter but who knows mennoton's house in hometown you could find a house so that kind of looks like napstablook if you knock on the door someone answers saying i'm afraid no one's home right now darling now why don't you prance on home this is obviously meditating here since darling is something mettaton says a lot undertale and the shape of mettaton towers also looks a lot like the shape of their house in undertale so if you knock on the door again melatonin realizes that you want to talk of them but then they say why would you want to talk to a nobody i guess in this universe or whatever this is mettaton doesn't have a show and no one knows about them like they do in undertale super smash bros reference when you return to hometown and you talk to tori at your house about azrael she says remember that video game you and azrael used to play what was it called super smashing fighters this is quite obviously a reference to super smash bros and also on a side note toriel goes on to mention how azure loved the green lizard from that game when he was little and then they had a birthday party based off of the green lizard and that green lizard is quite obviously yoshi fanath reference in front of the ics pizzeria in hometown you can find and talk to a tire looking burger pants if you talk to him about co-workers he'll talk about purple guy where he says man that guy you gotta actually does that guy even work here this is quite obviously a reference to the purple guy from for now since he talked about a purple guy in a pizzeria that doesn't work there the bunker in hometown you can find a bunker with red doors in the southernmost point of the town when you're going towards the walker the music stops and when you're there you can hear a disturbing sound coming from inside the bunker if you speed up the sound by 666 percent the sound file from undertale called emmy west's underscore smile can be heard many people believe that this means that w the gaster is in the bunker because the sound file must underscore smile and the number 666 are strongly associated with him the man behind the tree a scarlet forest if you go back and forth between these two areas shown you can find a secret room with just a tree if you click on a tree text pops up saying he is behind the tree if you interact with him he offers you something and if you say yes gives you an egg after you receive the egg tex appears saying well there's not a man here many people believe this to be gasser since gaster is often referred to as him and one of the models people think is gasser it's called mystery man hence the man park so there's also that as well if you put egg in capital letters and translate to wingdings and translates to left arrow up arrow up arrow which is kind of roughly the path you take to find the room in the first place also as told by me in the comments section or my undertale iceberg if you bring the egg to asgore's fridge in hometown you now have two eggs and by the way thank you for that whoever commented that i believe your name was lavos father alvin on the angel father alvin is a character you can find right in front of the town's church which is in the southern part of the town you can talk to him about fruit juice but if you decide to talk to him about nothing then father alvin will say let the angel's power light your way taking this into account this must mean that the town's religion is based off of the angel from the prophecy told to you by rousey the angel that you have to banish at the prophecy foretold twitter messages this refers to the strange tweets at the until twitter account and toby fox's twitter account made before delta's release first toby fox tweets it's cold it's as if everything has been developed in a black wind you didn't realize it yet but it seems that there is someone who wants to talk to you then the undertale twitter account continues the weirdness of toby's tweet with toby also retweeting all the following tweets i'll read from the other tale twitter account at the entire twitter account says welcome have you been looking for me how wonderful i have been looking for you as well i have something something i want to show you something i think you'll find very very interesting but it's not complete yet no it is far from complete thus i have a in 24 hours then toby fox just has another tweet where he basically just reminds us to return to the undertale twitter account tomorrow if you have complete undertale and that he wants to make something new beginning with our feedback all the tweets i just read or described were on october 30th 2018 which is the day before dalton came out these next tweets i'll read are from october 31st 2018 starting with the nhl twitter account saying thank you for waiting so long after all you and i we both have been waiting such a very long time so to be here finally on the verge of connection it's quite exciting i look forward to creating a new feature with you now show yourself delta room these tweets are just quite obviously teasing delta but many people believe that gaster is the one talking to us here the most obvious proof of this is a tweet that reads something i think you will find very very interesting which is a reference to his this next experiment team's very very interesting line from entry number 17 in undertale also everything is spaced out which is kind of how he talks during entry number 17 undertale and the final proof is that everything is in capital letters which is proof because of you to translate solving into wingdings by typing capital letters like i did for the egg which i talked about previously it translates to wd gaster's form of wingdings i'll provide an example on screen if that doesn't make sense to you torio and asgore's divorce one very weird thing about doctor and isn't explained is the divorce between toriel and asgore and undertale they separated because asgore is trying to kill children to get their souls since their human souls and the free monster kind from the underground and this greed led to both of the toriel's children to die in deltarune asgore is a kind man selling flowers and both dreamer children are still alive so what exactly happened here a popular theory is that since asgar sells his flowers for free the family finances were affected obviously tori would probably divorce asgore because of this because with no finances the living conditions of the family will become affected and especially the living conditions are the children and we all know that toriel cared a lot about the children but so far we don't have the answer to this question we can only guess [Music] you can see the manual the manual is an item given to you by rousey after you complete the training dummy fight or if you refuse to trade a manual could sometimes be used in battle but you can't see it however cut content from the game shows you originally able to read the manual this video by f-ser shows that you can hack this cut content in the game and read it the manual tells you the controls how to use the menu and some notes from rousey as well it also shows a section where you could have written some notes yourself the cut content from the manual actually shows some undercut content as well like a dog command and a talk command toby voiced jebel after doing some research no one actually knows who voiced javel since there's no listening for jebel's voice actor on behind the voice actors the deltarune wiggy or idm b many people believe that toby fox voiced jevel since the voice signs are in both english and japanese and toby has recently learned japanese this is a theory and has been confirmed but many people just assumed that toby voiced shovel and stored his voice to what is now kind of like how he destroyed his face in the photoshop cloudy fight in undertale rousey spoke to chris in secret i believe this refers to when our perspective switches from rousey and chris and their cell to what susie is doing after she escaped herself how eventually she helped chris and rousey escape when twoze is about to arrive to free chris and rousey our perspective switches back to chris and rousey and we see rousey say so that's why okay chris this is gonna simply just be the end of a conversation that rousey and chris are having to kill time since they're in like a cell but this goes so this could also be something that was hidden from the player purposely what did rousey tell chris behind our back i guess we will never know until maybe the next chapters or this could be insignificant the bird and the bell this refers to that weird bird that tries to attack you in scarlet force and the bell part refers to if you hit a nearby bell the weird bird loses his wings and runs off there's also an easter egg with this bird if you go left after you hit the bell there's this weird looking thing and if you talk to it it says these birds are pissing me off i'm the original star walker which is obviously a star wars reference deltarune is an alternate universe toby fox said in an interview that doctor isn't a prequel or a sequel it's a different story with the same characters this leads many people to believe that the only conclusion we could assume is that deltarine is an altered universe specifically a universe where the monster the human war never happened and with a few differences as well or it could also be an alternate universe where the monsters won the war some examples of the weird differences are that gerson a character who's alive in undertale is dead in delteron azrael is older than chris and if we were to like compare it to like cara and like ezreal and undertale since chris is like it's kind of like a replacement of car if that makes sense they were the same age around the same age but in deltarune azra was going off to university and chris is in elementary school another common theory is that gaster created the delta world in his experiments in undertale the main source of this is the dark darker yet darker line from entry number 17 in which many people connected the dark world in deltarune this could mean that entry number 17 was the creation of a new world that world being the dark world hence the darkness and shadow type lines in entry number 17 which is kind of what i talked about already this may explain all the gaster steam connections to the songs of dalton mainly songs in the dark world since if gasser is the creator of the dark world then of course there'll be a ton of connections to its creator including musical connections and other ones too like when you use your phone in the dark world it plays emus smile which is associated with caster not to mention how gaster was shattered all over time and space and some characters in the dark world like seeing the shopkeeper and rules cars i probably pronounced that wrong sorry they look a lot like gaster so they could be parts of gaster like how one of the gaster followers undertale is holding a part of gaster the dark world is a game this is a pretty popular theory that the dark world is just a game that chris and susie played in the unused classroom i found this image that you should see on your screen right now that describes how all the things in the unused classroom are places in the dark world a couple examples are the purple carpet that represents the field of hopes and dreams and the stuffed animal that represents seeing the shopkeeper also when you leave the dark world your weapon shows up as a petzl and your armor shows up as a bandage which is more proof that the dark world is just a game that chris and susie played and that's also probably the reason why there's a lot of connections to chess and cards in in deltarune because they are games they're not real right that could be another connection as well rousey knew our names this first time for some reason rousey knew the names of chris and susie without them telling him it doesn't make sense at all since the prophecy only describes who the heroes are and not their names the only way this remotely makes any sense is to be taken to the account the popular theory that the dark world is just a game that chris used to play of azrael and that chris introduced suzy to it that's the theory i just talked about this makes sense because rousey would be the equivalent of asriel in the game and azure will know the names of chris and most likely susie because azrael is rousey in the game if that makes sense if you believe this theory rooks and seam are based off of gaster i touched on this one already but this is basically a theory that seamless shopkeeper and rules cassar are based off gasser because of their similar facial features the most notable thing being the cracked eye that all these models share this could be more proof of like the gaster create the dark world theory since if gaster is shattered all over time and space then maybe rules cassard and seam are part of gaster since they share similar facial features rousey's horns i put this one a bit lower because i thought people won't know it but it's kind of simple if you talk to toriel after you exit the dark world she'll talk about how christie's have a headband with red horns on it but she doesn't know where the headband went people think that this could connect to the theory that the dark world is just a game because rousey has a reddish horns so chris maybe could have used the headband of the red horns on it to make the rousey character egg equals knight movement this is just simply referring to when you translate egg and all capitals to wingdings your result is left arrow up arrow up arrow which is the movement of a knight in chess this is actually some proof of the theory that gaster is the knight in deltarune and by the way we'll get to that later theories about the ending a very popular theory is that chris is cara which means this is a prequel but this doesn't really make much sense because we talked about earlier how tobey fox mentioned that this isn't a prequel but the similarities are like pretty like noticeable because chris has like a knife and like their eyes blew red and he didn't see their eyes for the entire game until that cut scene but you had to take into account what toby said this isn't a prequel this is most likely false another theory that's not really as known is that the whole ending cutscene was just a nightmare the ending cutscene could be a nightmare because that would explain how chris suddenly had a knife in his inventory and how the sound effects and the room layout were a bit off what i mean by this is that the the birdcage randomly being lit up and chris's steps somehow echoing on a carpet floor also javel says to you from now on a nightmare will awaken your heart in the shadow of the night's hand jevo is referring to all the three heroes here which could mean that susie is suffering from the same thing that chris is the knight's hand might imply that chris and susie are being possessed by a knight in their sleep somehow however i don't think toby would pull the o was just a dream thing on us because there's literally a joke about it in the game also as far as we know we have control of chris and delter in chapter 2 from toby fox showing us details about it [Music] error handling messages if you try to edit the save file on dot rune an error screen shows up with the annoying dog in it which is kind of similar to what happens in undertale in the case of deltarune the annoying dog is sleeping and the game's name actually changes from deltarune to dogger roon and this song plays [Music] gaster made the warped doors warp doors are used in doctrine to warp to different places in the dark world and this writer post theory suggests that gaster actually made them the person who posted this noticed that the door for stanza's room and uttertail looks exactly like the warp doors in deltarune if you actually take a look they literally have the exact same model they believe that since wd gaster sans and papyrus are only not their fonts that they are connected somehow especially since sans has gasser blasters during the genocide fight this person also believes that gaster created the cover-up machine we see in santa's secret room and undertale i would like to post in the description if you want to see more about this theory gaster related unused dialogue there's some unused dialogue in the game that actually fits the description of wd gaster really well the first one says is that a cut on your face or part of your eye the gash weaves down as if you cry the pain itself is reason why people believe that this is associated with gaster because of his cracked eye and also like the whole like the pain is the reason why it's kind of like a dark line and as we know gaster is heavily associated with darkness through like entry number 17 we talked about darkness the second string of unused dialogue says you can't read these symbols or maybe it's the handwriting some people think this refers to gaster because he speaks in wingdings which is basically symbols are really hard to understand unless translated the second string of the unused dialogue is actually very similar to text from sans to secret room and undertale when you interact with the blueprints found there text from that reads you can't read the symbols they're written in or maybe it's just the handwriting both of the strings that use text i just talked about the deltarune and the text from undertale are a heavily associated caster or heavily speculated to be gaster spade queen this got a short one but i feel like people might not know about this one so i put it a bit lower like there's some people who think there might be a spade queen coming in in one of the future chapters of deltaru jumbo mentions how the knight will be responsible for the return of the queen there's also the fact that there's a spade king already so where's the spade queen the queen will most likely be weaker than the king because if you go off cards and chests a queen is weaker than a king and the king is the king of spades so it will be the queen of spades and the queen of spades is weaker than the king of spades but this queen could also just be another queen it could be a queen that has to do with chess and in chess a queen is more powerful than a king jewel doesn't say spade queen he just says queen so we could assume that it could be another playing card maybe queen of diamonds or it could be a like a chess piece like the queen chess piece which is more powerful than the king and i'm going off of chess card games and other stuff like that because it's a big part of the dark world so that's the reason why i go off of it deltarune is a survey this is a theory that deltarune itself is a survey this actually makes a lot of sense because the intro to doctor and is pretty much a survey since it asks you many questions like your survey would deltoon has an application on your computer is also called survey underscore program which is some more evidence oh so if we go back to the tweets from naruto twitter account one of the tweets says at that time i'll ask you a few questions and another tweet says then using your responses we will approach its realization obviously this is what a survey is asking questions and seeing responses so i honestly agree with this theory because it's practically confirmed by this evidence unused ass thrasher battle this refers to the point in the game where susie and lancer want chris and rousley to create a machine to thrash their own ass man lester's easier than blowing the machine up people think that there was originally supposed to be a battle of the athlete that you created since there is an unused sound file called thrash rating and i'll play it for you [Music] that sounds a lot like a boss theme doesn't it this and an index for an unused doom tank enemy in the game files has led people to believe that originally you would have fought the ass thrasher the knight's story the knight is a character mentioned by many people in the dark world including the king devil seem a shopkeeper and the unnamed diamond king the knight was the one who created the new dark phantom which disrupted the balance between light and dark seem talks about the knight by basically saying there's originally four kings that ruled the dark world but one day a strange night came and three of the kings were locked away the remaining king then put him and his son into power and by the way the remaining king is obviously the king of spades we fight and his son is obviously lancer and he talks about that one day devil met a strange someone and that strange someone caused jello to change and many people believe and it's heavily implied by seam that this mysterious someone is the knight you can find the unnamed diamond king card castle the same floor where you are in prison it's basically off to the right side of the floor he's in prison with two other people and basically just says that like that him and the two other people in the cell used to rule alongside with the king of spades who you fight like it used to be like they all would rule but they got imprisoned and they said this happened because of the night because they say when but when the night arrived everything changed also if you beat jello through acting the general mentions how the lightners will have a nightmare awakened their hearts in the shadow of the night okay we actually touched on that line before if you beat jello through fighting him then he will say that the hand of the knight is drifting forward also the king says a lot of stuff about the night he's probably the one that says the most stuff about the knight the first thing that he says is quite simple he basically just says before the night has appeared like he's saying the knight has appeared he also talks about that the knight is the knight that pulls the fountains from the earth and that's basically just the reference how he created the second fountain that appeared as shown in the prophecy that rousey tells us and he basically also just says oh my knight i shall not fail you and for me he says my knight i kind of take that as the knight is like a higher being usually when you refer to like someone as my something it's kind of like they're a higher being than you like in medieval days it refers to like their kings is like my sire right or sire like something like that so that's how i personally view that that the knight is a higher being than the king i think we already told that anyway unused high quality animations this is kind of a joke because some of these animations look pretty bad but some other ones look a lot better uh for example this animation for the grass and the field of hooks and dreams and this unused sprite for chris looked pretty bad while some other animations like this unused animation for chris pulling out his soul at the end of the game look a lot more detailed than in the original version [Music] curse is spreading undertale this is just referring to how chris's overworld sprite and deltarune looks almost exactly like an unused human surrounding undertale the only difference being the unused human spread has blue pants while chris doesn't there's also a couple other slight differences chris is taller it looks a lot older than the unused sprite and the unused sprite basically just looks like frisk in other than that they pretty much look exactly the same most notable feature being that you can't see their eyes like they have long hair the angel's identity we don't know who the angel is but there are many theories a common theory is that the angel is noel who is a character from hometown many people think now was the angel because of the details of chapter 2 that toby gave us one detail was an image of the well in the dark world with long white sleeves which resembles the angel doll that she made at the youth group in delta in chapter one people connect us to the angels church and hometown and how they worship the angel also it is implied in delta in chapter one that noel's dad rudy might die in a future chapter because he is sick in the hospital and in the well who'll be overwhelmed with grief might want to escape from reality and she might end up joining chris and susie in their fantasy dark world if you believe that theory and tony fox even like showed us that she like is joining them in the dark world in delta in china too what you might do is something so drastic as to shift the bounce of light and dark just to keep this fantasy world which is the dark world alive for her also i forgot to mention that toby fox gave us a couple of music tracks that would be in delta in chapter two one being the wells theme that is called lost girl the name of this theme could suggest that she is lost after her father's death although there are some contradictions to this theory of like of the well-made angel because the angel is shown to be evil and powerful and as far as we know the well isn't powerful or evil so this might not be true and maybe the image of noel and angel costume might just be toby fox trying to throw us off the mystery of the angel another person who could be the angels of course gaster i forgot to mention in the wells angel doll actually had a lack of facial features which is similar to the design of gaster and also his gaunders from undertale caster also has a lot of connections to lucifer the fallen angel who became the biblical devil first off gasters associated with the number 66 or 666 which are also numbers associated with the devil gaster has also been described to have fallen into his own creation like how lucifer is the fallen angel also there's the fact that gaster could literally just be puppeteering the well as the so-called angel since the devil is a known tempter so if you believe the gaster symbolisms of the devil this is a pretty convincing theory but if you don't you might not believe that one at all the knights identity similarly to the angel we don't really know who the knight is there are many theories as well but we do know that knight is kind of the mysterious puppet master in the world of delton's dark world and many people believe that the knight could be gaster asruel or some other character the most convicted candidate for the knight in my opinion is rousey because when we first meet them they are alone in a town with a fountain and the knight can create fountains plus rousey covers his face from everyone in the game except chris and susie who are the only two who won't recognize what the knight looks like also the entire credibility of the prophecy lies on us trusting rousey and plus rally doesn't even fit the description of a prince from the dark in which the prophecy states but someone like lancer does that's because rousey doesn't have any subjects and we know how that got the start of the game rally rushes it off just basically saying oh i'm a prince with no subjects so i fit the description of the prophecy pretty suspicious stuff honestly many people believe that gaster could be candid for the night because of his connection to the castle with darkness in terms of entry number 17 from undertale and that he also seems like some sort of higher being if you take the twitter messages and the theory they talks you to start the game into account many people also think that he's the knight because of how the knight made jevel go crazy kind of like how the gasser followers act strange and have a different perception of the world like how jevel does and how scene basically said that jevel now has a different perception in the world because of the knight whoever this person wants two voices in the intro this is a theory that in the intro there are two voices speaking to you the first one who's asking all the questions and the second one being the person who says will now be discarded people theorize the first voice to be gaster and the second voice to be kara the first voice could be gaster because when you are building your body at the start of the game the sprites that you choose have the word goner in them in the game of house and they're also grey the song that plays in this first section of the game is also called another hymn and gaster is often referred to as him plus gaster's theme in the undertale game files is also called him and also another hymn has gaster's theme in it as i showed you at the start of the video the voice that toxie also talks to you in all capital letters and when wing music is translated to english it produces capital letters like i've been saying this voice also talks very similarly to the voice during the tweets made before doctrine and also the voice sentry number 17 and both are speculated to be gaster entry number 17 is pretty much gaster though because we literally see him talking wignings the second voice could be car because the font changes and the tone becomes negative and kara doesn't believe in choice and wants to destroy all worlds basically kara is taking away the choice that gaster is giving you if you take this theory into account then technically gaster is trying to create a vessel while kara is trying to destroy it and humans are more powerful than monsters so that's why kara can destroy gaster's vessels basically delterin is a power circle between gaster and car with gas we're trying to create and car try and destroy this is actually quite similar to the legend of delta in itself maybe the legend is actually referring to the power struggle between caster and kara and not the one the dark world but who knows a deltarune topo theory i included this one because i felt like no one will know what this is or not that much people would and i also didn't know this one at all but here's what i found the toppa is a thought form or being created from the collective thoughts of separate individuals and topaz originated from tibeti and voodoo's mythology this relates to delterin because it is pretty much heavily implied that the dark world is a game that chris and susie are playing and maybe chris and susie use topas to create things into existence like how chris made rousey because might miss azrael and that suzie might have made lancer because she want to have a friend and in real life she is a school bully who most likely doesn't have friends basically they might have made temples for stuff that you don't already see in the unused classroom like they won't make one for steam the shopkeeper because there's already a bear there they want to make one for the chessboard because there's already a chessboard there they also probably made topos for other characters and things that we don't see already being objects in the playroom like the king and jevel unused underscore slash underscore unused underscore gml one to ten this refers to a series of unused text dothroon and that's why i refer to it as one through ten the text read as follows where where am i hello anyone is is anyone out there someone anyone can you hear me it's dark it's so dark here someone anyone if you can hear me say something please if i had to guess where in the game this could have been i would have to guess it would have happened when chris and susie get trapped in the closet at the start of the game or when they fall down to that weird and dark place at the very start of the dark world gearson knows what's up this is a redder post theory that claims that gerson is going to play an important role in deltoon the theory goes off the one that the dark world isn't necessarily real but you can make it real if that makes sense like it's just a game the reason why this is connected to gearson is because he knew about the delta in undertale in which i'll read to what he says in undertale about the delta he says hey you don't know what that is what are they teaching you kids in school nowadays that's the deltarune the emblem of our kingdom the kingdom of monsters great name huh it's as i always say all king fluffy beans can't name for beings if you talk to him about the emblem's meaning he says that album actually predates written history the original meaning has been lost to time all we know is the triangles symbolize us monsters below knowing circle above symbolizes something else most people say it's the angel from the prophecy if you talk to him about the prophecy he says oh yeah a prophecy legend has it an angel who has seen the surface will descend from above and bring us freedom lately the people have been taking a bleaker outlook calling the winged circle the angel of death a heartbreaker of destruction weighing the free us from this mortal realm in my opinion when i see that little circle i just think it looks neat that's the end of the quotes and delta and gearson is now dead but in the unused classroom there's a picture of a turtle sign alvin alvin being a father outfit in which we already talked about him this is important because gearson is a turtle the person who posts this believes that that gerson was a teacher in the in the now unused classroom who went to the dark world many times the left which made the king whom he befriended in the dark world upset and vengeful toward lightner's gear since the gravestone and deltoran describes that he was a teacher which is some more proof light is hope darkest dream this is another theory from reddit and this time this theory is about that light is hope and doctor's dream the person who posted this says this because during the legend of deltarune light and hope have text on the left side and dark and dream have text on the right side this person concluded that the light world which is hometown is a reality while the dark world is a fantasy this person thinks that even though the dark world is a fantasy the people living in it are still real and that chris and susie are able to enter the dark world because of the balance between my dark has shifted toward darkness this person also talks about how the dark world changes depending on the person going in it for example chris misses azrael doesn't want to be known as the creepy kid because he talked about the characters in delta when he's known as a creepy kid so what does the dark world do it has rousey who is azrael always being positive toward chris and has chris as the leader of the group another example of how the dark world changes depending on the person is the example of noel toby gave us an image of noel in the dark world as well as an image of a city in the dark road that we will explore in dalton chapter 2. this city is nowhere to be seen in chapter 1 but since the dark world changes depending on the person going in it it most likely changed because we are going to the dark world with noelle in delta in chapter 2. i'll link this post in the description if you want to hear more device underscore failure i put this one in like the lowest of the low because i thought this one was probably the most interesting out of all the stuff i discuss and i feel like not that much person found many other oddly named things like device underscore failure some examples of that are device underscore contact which controls the survey portion of the game and also device underscore goner maker which is where the data for the character creator is stored in this person noticed that these files appear to be totally detached from our experiences as playing as chris these things seem to be outside the deltoid world this person continued data mining and ultra and game files and they found some more stuff process underscore local handles the animation for the delta room logo after the chapter 1 stinger scene which i believe is like the opening the words process and device has led this person to believe that the opening create a character part of deltoin might take place inside of a computer somehow they also found many more other weirdly named things like audio image and place which technically aren't weird names themselves but they still sound like things that would be inside of a computer this led to the person to come to this conclusion in undertale save files spring from a person's determination you can't have more than one save file unless you have multiple souls like a mega flowey a person if one's full or no soul has only one save file first save files are powered by a mix of their own determination as well as the essence consciousness of the first fallen child which is kara this is indicated by the save files having the fallen child's name on them not frisk's name and by the game over screen being kara's dying memories the load slash reset menu screen of undertale seems to be completely non-digenic dog check is definitely absolutely non-energetic in deltarune the save files are related to a light that shines within a person which may or may not be the same thing as a termination the player character despite only being a single distant body soul has access to three save files via interfacing with the device this device allowed them to make contact with intercorporeal void entities such as gaster and kara the device also allows for gaster to handle situations where all possible hosts for the soul aka chris's party have died for the player character and the device is basically the medium through which the player character accesses game mechanics and entities that exist outside of deltarune's light world in delta in this dark world they also provide a diagram of what they're trying to explain through their findings and i'll be on screen right now by the way this theory is quite complex at least to me and i still don't
