stock showdown at a Monroe Township New Jersey gas Co family putting this together Bell won the first race of the season with Mike Stanfield power Stephen Bell 3rd and the points in stout shot right the wind 817 9 at 164 by 1/10 of a second but Pete gas co jr. was on the hind legs all the way down the first 200 feet of a racetrack that was just spectacular Lea Pritchett Aaron Stanfield Lea on the left L Bandito coming out of the DSR shop just a couple miles away Kevin how was the crew chief the number one qualifier this could be the seventh second run Aaron Stanfield on the right son of Greg Stanfield and Stanfield racing engines he is looking pretty strong throughout qualifying in 18 to 14 out of 12 gonna need to get some on the starting line then outrun by just about 1/10 the 1 second by Lea Lea versus stage Aaron [Music] it's rich in 8.11 one ed 170 miles per hour what Imagi Joe Welch right side the car that ran in the seventh that had the time disallowed has also won the last two Glenn 810 going up against Arthur Archie Cohn Archie on the right hand side got his first win of the season and Sam tech factory stock showdown a little bit earlier sits second in the point standings Archie he has got the lead but here a lot of power on the top end but our Chacon is able to take the win 29th ow with a no 15 reaction time left first got there first david partin and leonard live assure leonard on the left side david champion series a year ago but to this point has yet to win a race and will not win a race no stop being David Clark started bringing up the concrete in the stage down the Mustang ladies and gentlemen put your hands together keep them clapping for the samtech factory stock showdown teams the winners have advanced they're going on to Monday at the big goal so for those who were following along and the samtech factory stock showdown you may be a bit surprised to see mark power grilling up here for this round overnight after the first round of eliminations there were was a detailed tech inspection perform the car that defeated mark pawuk was found to have had a technical violation therefore mark pawuk has been reinstated into the field that car has been disallowed and we continue on with the Eliminator now our ohayo challenger drag pack with a supercharged 354 cubic inch gen 3 heavy and let live assure out of Wilmington Illinois the Coppola PartsDirect supercharged 350 cubic inch LSX style engine in the nose of the 2015 Camaro parked our car is very fast he was the number two qualifier he had waited his way through the field and he is now gonna face down one of the faster Cobra the faster COPO Camaros in the country with Len Liveris car liberty now free stage a red light star forever sir acknowledged smokes the tires old that let me sir early mark flowers will go blazing the tires on the starting line it is a very interesting class it is it is you know as much outlaw style or drag radial dedicated racing goes on around the country this is any trees really kind of a radial based class almost every car in this class will have a radial style rear tire and they are having 3,500 plus pounds 1,500 plus horsepower and the power is going through effectively a 275 radial tire or if you really want to do at a nine-inch slick now we saw the results of trying to apply that horsepower to quickly as mark power flew the tire up now it's Jeff Turk and Archie cone coming up cone from Richmond Texas and a Jeff Turk from Yorkville Illinois in the Blackbird a giant starting line advantage but does the COPO have enough horsepower to stop the charge of Jeff Turk it does 816 beats and 813 archie cone bought himself a round victory with lightning quick reflexes on the starting line turn was 70 and Turk did have the quicker car but Archie Cohen with a running head start gone to the finish line first [Music] the next pair coming up now will be Kevin Skinner in the Mustang Cobra jet out of Grove City Ohio the Columbus join and clutch sponsored machine and layup the approaced rather from Danville Indiana the elbe and Edo 2015 challenger drag pack is coming in hot here in the race killed outside pre-staged and pre-staged [Music] as is the case here Kevin Skinner needs to be ahead by a significantly [Music] so many favors on the starting line is Lea Pritchett Eliminator of Top Fuel cars doctor training irreverent 7/7 of these conditions the racetrack 9 409 at 107 point 6 1 miles per hour Kevin Skinner outrun and Lea Pritchett is going to the semi-final round to face either Steve Bell in a Mustang there was a red light the other lane that let him come back and play some more the former pro stock racer in the Don Schumacher fielded drag pack and Archie Cohn out of Texas and hopefully this hierarchy hikes the phlegm in in his car hook the left 8:23 167 miles an hour and the cowboy who's first final round came here in super gas years ago is gonna have another crack at it this time in the factory stock showdown and will he raise his teammate that's Lea Pritchett mark and Leo were the one and two qualifiers and Stephen Bell he's got a couple of wins under his belt in this series and his red Chevrolet the car dealer out of Louisiana the top Fuel driver from right here in Indy and it's tire spin for Stephen Bell Lee I'll have another crack at nd you'll have to beat her teammate to do it 8:11 oh that's showing off 169 miles an hour on a hot racetrack well Kevin Helms you've already won the race take the rest of the day off let your drivers figure it out Stephen Bell spun on the starting line goes 859 at 166 miles an hour this is an all dodge affair a pair of challenger drag tacks with 350 for cubic engine pretty heavy walled with Whipple superchargers lined up side by side mark pawuk returned to the sport of drag racing with Don Schumacher racing this year to or a couple of seasons it was last year that they really caught the wind of how to run this thing the right way how to be competitive with it and how to bring the heat this is adsr team win any way you slice it both cars run from that core impacto equipment corporation that business mark Howard runs that allows him to go drag racing here with the drag pack leader Bridgette obviously a professional drag racer got to square off against the man who for many years raised professionally in the Pro Stock ranks and who has certainly picked an a-cup a lot quicker where I should say very quickly like you never left the seat the cowboy versus L Bandito Victor side pick your poison and pick your Hemi because one of the eases going to the winner's circle in goes mark power a mattress this is for the three years a Chevrolet performance us Nashville large power trying to lean on Lea's car powered a little spark at the end and Lea Pritchett collects the Sam tech factory stock showdown victory in the L Bandido challenger drag pack 810 with an 8 a 170 miles per hour for Lea Pritchard as factory stock showdown this is the car they call it bandido l Bandito this is the driver miss Leah Pritchett getting the job done get loud get crazy Lea Pritchett you have just won Indy are we going to Disney I mean you tell me you tell me oh I woke up this morning thinking they're too incredibly solid shots of winning the US Nationals today for one obviously in the top fuel car but to this Mopar factory stop team for Don Schumacher has been so incredible just tally it up we have been lo of every round of qualifying of eliminations of the US Nationals it's a I get to drive this car and I get and I get to work with incredible people none of which are right here they're all back because my guy that I ran in the other lane well the guy named mark pawuk cowboy the cowboy I ran him in the final we doubled it you know it doesn't get any better for Don Schumacher to create this team with Mopar really what we're trying to do is work with dogs work with Mopar and get those always back you know it this is Detroit at its very best and hands down we're trying to develop the fastest cars in factory in the world and I think that we're doing a pretty good job of it so that you guys can do the same thing too so I'm uh I'm honored I haven't been down this road before um but sportsmen but I want to thank absolutely everybody not only Mopar dodge easy spark plugs and the hoon against but my fuel team was out here I had Todd and Scott line me up because you know I'm splittin crewman with my with my with my other crew so I felt a little bit at home I want to get big thanks to them Todd Schumacher and all the fans
