[Music] [Music] [Music] well just over 8,000 miles from home we find ourselves back here at our Racing Club for the Arabian drag racing league behind me we've got over 15,000 horsepower with the Pro mods we've got dragsters we have a special treat del Worsham brought his spare money car over from Orange County to put on a show for the locals so we got [Music] we've got a lot of awesome racing in store for you guys we're gonna go check out some of the pits first show you some of the teams that brought their cars over here for the winter the conditions here at Qatar Racing Club are perfect the weather barely changes the track conditions are amazing so a lot of guys like to bring the cars over here for some ideal testing conditions so we're gonna see some big numbers some big horsepower run into our good friend Badr who we hung out with a couple years ago you remember him from the the license-plate video down the pearl and you've got your z28 behind you that you've been working on for years and we finally get to see it yeah so I put that car when I was in state you know for my bachelor degree so I bought it in 2007 stock dealer you know go to school to it put exhaust headers filters for the cam for the converter and I'm like time to build a race car I've got a truck since then just starting you know the build and now there was the biggest project for me so for 27 yard a single turbo 88 GTX 55 this built started in the state K is the shall see the the the cage and everything garage then I moved up from the state I came to Qatar because I'm originally when I came here I continued to built here and a trip speed performance power shop so I finished the wiring here plumbing everything the final touch and oh yeah I just finished it last month and what car looks good definitely exciting still it's never a dull moment with a pull my car because you don't know for the most part this car has been really great to us as far as going straight and even good but there's always that these things are a wild ride I learned my lesson in 2010 I didn't get out of it when I should open I knew better and I put it on its roof oh geez yeah this car here we always 2600 pounds and it even scares me when I think about it from a standing start just go on sixty P in 0.9 under a second coming from standing start so it's the Jeep g-force leaving us like three and a half G's leaving in this weight of a car it's a pretty good fit and you're doing you're doing just eight mile over here yeah just eight mile here and a quarter mile that goes 251 it's been here it's going to 201 201 on the a12 and what et's are you ready 372 is the best we've run here so you're doing 200 miles an hour in less than four seconds yeah I can't fathom like getting used to that kind of thing guys hoping to do today and qualify an elimination of ET wise mile-per-hour well right now we're hoping to SEP directed we would like to do that I mean Todd when is 69 yesterday we'd like to beat that he did what he did 69 with a nine I don't remember what it was it was 69 with something maybe 68 just you're trying to beat the red okay well it's great to talk to you great to meet you I've been over
