[Music] [Music] [Music] good morning if you don't mind let's start with prayer because what i'm going to share with you is really good information but i realize that i'm packing a lot of information into each sermon and i want to make sure that you get it i want to make sure that your vessels that are receiving this so if you don't mind pray with me father we just thank you for your goodness and i thank you lord that we don't have to wonder what's going to take place in the future because god you've laid it out in your word and father it's as clear as can be father i just asked lord that you would anoint me to teach this in such a simple and clear way and i pray god that you would anoint everyone here to have ears to hear what the spirit would say unto them and i also pray god that you would give us a sense of urgency lord we we don't want to be like those who missed your first visitation and in doing so miss the second visitation we know that we're the generation that's going to see the lord's return and help us to feel that sense of urgency to share the gospel to not only be prepared ourselves but to prepare others for the second coming of jesus christ we thank you for this in jesus name amen well for those of you who are visiting for the first time or if you're online visiting us for the first time you should probably know that we're in the middle of a series that's entitled the end times according to jesus and the focus of this series is supposed to be on the olivet discourse now the reason i say supposed to be is because so far we haven't even looked at the olivet discourse and we're seven weeks into the series but there's a good reason for that you see to understand eschatology you must have a good understanding of one particular prophecy found in the book of daniel and it's a short prophecy it's only made up of four verses and of those four verses the three are very important those verses are verse 24 25 26 and 27 of daniel chapter nine it's known as the seventy weeks of daniel now this prophecy even though it's only four verses is the key to understanding the mystery of the end times in fact these four verses are so packed with critical and useful information that without them we wouldn't have a clue as to what's going to happen in the future seriously too many pieces of the puzzle would be missing and we're talking about the most important pieces to the puzzle that's why some scholars refer to this prophecy as the backbone of biblical eschatology because it supports connects and ties together all the other prophecies and without it we would kind of be lost and that's why we've spent so much time looking at this particular prophecy now last time i gave you an eschatological timeline to help you visualize daniel's prophecy known as the 70 weeks and let me go through it real quick to help to help reinforce what you've learned so far notice that the timeline is divided by verses verse 25 verse 26 and verse 27 of daniel chapter 9. verse 25 tells us that from the time the decree is given to rebuild the city of jerusalem until the messiah officially reveals himself will be 69 weeks now the word weeks is translated from the hebrew word shabuah which simply means seven it can refer to seven days seven weeks seven months or even seven years depending upon the context but in this context it's referring to years so what this prophecy is saying and if you don't mind could you close that back door or someone back here so what this prophecy is saying is from the time the commandment is given to rebuild the city of jerusalem until the messiah officially reveals himself will be 69 seven year periods or in other words 483 years and there's 360 days in a prophetical year so 483 times 360 equals 173 880 days so what daniel was saying in verse number 25 is this if you counted 173 880 days from the time the decree was given to rebuild the city of jerusalem it would give you the exact day that the messiah would enter jerusalem to reveal himself as the true messiah now we know when the decree to rebuild the city was given it was given on march the 14th 445 bc so according to daniel's prophecy the true messiah would triumphantly enter jerusalem on april the 6th 32 a.d which is the exact day that jesus made his triumphant entry into jerusalem verse 26 tells us that after the 69 weeks but before the 70th week two events would occur first the messiah would be cut off but not for himself for us which is exactly what happened four days after jesus made his triumphal entry into jerusalem he was crucified secondly the city of jerusalem and the temple would be be destroyed which happened in 70 a.d 38 years after the messiah appeared and was cut off now because those two events were to occur after the 69 weeks but before the 70th week it tells us that there's an interval between the 69th week and the 70th week and how long is that interval how long is that gap of time well we know it's at least 2 000 years because when the babylonian captivity ended on july 23 537 bc the jews still owed god 2520 years of servitude in prophetical years it's 2483 years 9 months and 21 days and we know that the 70th week would not begin until israel's servitude was over so when was it over may 14 1948 the very day that modern israel became a nation is that a coincidence no the day israel's servitude was over was also the day that they became a nation symbolizing that the fig tree has bloomed and designating us as the generation that will see his return we are the final generation verse 27 tells us that the 70th week begins when the antichrist negotiates a seven year peace treaty with israel that's what begins the tribulation listen to me the 70th week is the tribulation and how long is a week seven years that's how we know that the tribulation lasts for seven years verse 27 also tells us that in the middle of the tribulation the antichrist will break the treaty and he'll commit the abomination of desolation in other words he's going to enter the temple he's going to sit on the on the mercy seat and he's going to proclaim himself to be god at that point he turns on the jews in order to exterminate them killing over two-thirds of the jews in the land of israel the remnants that's left realized that jesus was the true messiah they repent they pray for his return and jesus returns to usher in the millennium and now you understand the prophecy known as the 70 weeks of daniel now this morning we're going to continue talking about the antichrist and i'm going to dispel a popular myth you see most scholars believe that the antichrist will be a european who rises to power within the revived roman empire that's the traditional and the most popular position among pre-millennial scholars but i don't hold to that theory and i'll explain why in just a little bit but first let's look at the traditional position to find out why it's the most popular position as i said most pre-millennial scholars believe that the antichrist will be a european probably an italian who rises to power from within the revived roman empire now this belief is based primarily on one verse and you know what one verse that is daniel chapter 9 verse 26 yeah part of the 70-week prophecy i told you it's a very complex prophecy and there were lots of aspects to it in fact this is one of the aspects so go ahead and turn with me if you would to daniel chapter 9 verse number 6 26 and follow along with me as i read this verse and after three score in two weeks shall the messiah be cut off but not for himself and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary now obviously the prince that shall come refers to the antichrist and if you want confirmation for of that just continue reading in verse number 27 and it tells us that this is talking about the antichrist but i want you to notice what this verse says it says that shortly after the messiah is cut off the people of the prince that shall come in other words the antichrist will destroy the city of jerusalem and the temple in other words the antichrist will be a descendant of the people that destroyed the city of jerusalem in the temple in 70 a.d now if you're familiar with ancient history you know that the roman legions under general titus destroyed the city of jerusalem in the temple so based on daniel chapter 9 verse number 26 most scholars believe that the antichrist is going to be a european and he'll rise to power within the revived roman empire because it was the romans that destroyed the city of jerusalem and the temple and for years i believe that too but i don't any longer so let me show you why i believe or i don't believe that the antichrist is going to be a european that rises to power within the revived european or the revived roman empire and in the process you'll see why i believe that the antichrist will be a muslim that rises to power from one of the countries in the middle east so turn back to daniel chapter 9 verse 26 and let's read it again and after three score in two weeks shall the messiah be cut off but not for himself and the people underline that word people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city in the sanctuary now the word people is translated from the hebrew word um and it's used to refer to a specific ethnic group in fact let me show you how this word is used in the book of genesis chapter 11 verse number 6. if you're familiar with the book of genesis you know that genesis chapter 11 is about the tower of babel god came down and he confused the people by giving them different languages because at one time all of the people spoke the very same language and they were supposed to disperse throughout the world but they didn't do it they clung together and they were going to build this tower so god came down and the story is recorded in the book of genesis chapter 11 verse number 6. notice what it says look he said the people there's that word people the hebrew word um the people are united and they all speak the same language after this nothing they set out to do will be impossible for them in other words the people who were building the tower of babel were from the same ethnic group they shared the same language the same religion the same culture and they were of the same race which in this case was dangerous so god had to intervene by making them speak different languages which is how different ethnic groups came into existence with different languages came different ethnic groups but my point is this the hebrew word um is used to refer to a specific ethnic group in other words a specific race of people who share the same language the same religion and the same culture now this is very important because daniel is telling us which ethnic group the antichrist is going to come from but he's not telling us what nation or what empire he'll come from at least not in this verse had he wanted to tell us what nation the antichrist would come from he would have used the hebrew word go e goi refers to a specific nation like israel or egypt or greece and had he wanted to tell us what kingdom he would come from or what empire he would have used the hebrew word memlakah because mamlika refers to a specific kingdom or empire such as the babylonian empire or the assyrian empire or the roman empire but daniel didn't care about that what he wanted us to know is which ethnic group the antichrist would come from so he used the hebrew word um now the reason this is so important is because it gives us insight into his race religion language and culture in fact let me give you an example to illustrate how important this is let's suppose that today after church i'm walking out to my car and i get mugged by two men and when the police come and they ask me can you identify your assailants i say yes i got a good look at them so the police officer says good what did they look like and what can you tell us about them and i say there were two men and they were americans now what have i what have i really told you about them nothing you see saying they were americans tells us nothing about their ethnicity the police don't know whether they were white african-american native american hispanic or asian-american they could be any ethnicity based on what i said now here's what's interesting the roman empire was even more diverse than america is in fact here's a map to show you how large the roman empire was take a look at this map on here i want you to notice that it goes through most of europe you've got you've got here spain this is france this is england this is italy up here is germany you got all of this you've got you've got of course italy now you're over here into macedonia which is greece and all of those countries then across the black sea you've got the asia minor which is turkey you go all the way up to the caspian sea afghanistan all of those stands you go all the way down through this is the fertile crescent by the way so you go all the way from judea and lebanon and syria all the way up into uh iraq and iran to the persian sea then you have all of north africa yeah yeah sorry about that but here's the thing that i want you to see to say that it was the roman empire that destroyed the city of jerusalem the temple tells you nothing nothing but daniel wanted us to know which ethnic group the antichrist would come from so he used the hebrew word um not go e not and again the reason this is so important is because it gives us insight into the antichrist race religion language and culture so which ethnic group destroyed the city of jerusalem and the temple in 70 a.d does anyone know well to answer that question i need to give you a history lesson on the roman empire and its military before the roman empire actually became an empire it was called the roman republic and in the early days of the republic before it grew into this mighty empire the majority of its soldiers were from rome and the nearby regions of italy in other words they were italians that was their ethnicity they were of the same race religion culture and language but as the empire expanded it became impossible to fill the military with men from italy the truth is there just wasn't enough italian men to serve in the military throughout the empire so caesar augustus made some sweeping changes to solve the problem the first thing he did was he placed all of the italian soldiers into an elite military unit called the praetorian guard their job was to guard the emperor and the tents of the generals and then each legion within the roman empire was made up of citizens from the provinces in which the legion was stationed so different legions were made up of different ethnic groups depending upon where they were stationed plus each legion had a small group of praetorian guards to protect the tents of the generals and the roman commanders now when israel rebelled against rome roman legions were sent in to put down the rebellion to stop it and after they secured the northern part of israel they moved south and they lay siege to jerusalem five legions were involved in the siege of jerusalem legion five from judea which was made up of arabs syrians and legion 10 from syria made up of syrians legion 15 from syria also made up of syrians legion 12 from asia minor in syria which was made up of soldiers primarily from syria and a few from what is now eastern turkey in northern iraq and legion three from syria which is also made up of syrians now as you can see four of the legions were from syria and one was from judea and you can also see the majority of the soldiers were syrians so what people or ethnic group destroyed the city of jerusalem and the temple in 70 a.d yeah syrians so according to daniel chapter 9 verse 26 the ethnicity of the antichrist is syrian now when we talk about ethnicity we're talking about his race his religion his language and his culture so the antichrist won't be a european who rises to power within the revived roman empire he'll be a muslim who rises to power in some country in the middle east now listen to me because this is important you can't look at the modern country of syria and say that the antichrist is going to come from that country because in daniel's time at the time of jesus christ syria covered a large a much larger area it covered the eastern part of modern-day turkey all of modern-day syria and parts of jordan lebanon and almost all of iraq so all we know is that the antichrist will come from that vicinity and from that ethnic group now here's what's really interesting in the old testament the antichrist is referred to by a number of names in fact he's referred to by a number of different names in the new testament and every one of those names are a descriptor whether it's son of perdition or even antichrist that's not his name antichrist tells you about him anti means against and christ of course the messiah he will be someone that's against or contrary to the messiah yeah now what's interesting in the old testament the antichrist is commonly referred to as the assyrian yeah in isaiah in ezekiel and in the book of micah the antichrist is referred to as the assyrian in fact he is referred to more frequently as the assyrian than by any other name in the old testament did you know that which is just further confirmation that the antichrist is going to be a muslim from the middle east not a european from the european area of the revived roman empire now whenever someone proposes like myself that the antichrist is going to be a muslim and he's going to rise to power from somewhere in the middle east scholars immediately raise two objections the first is based on second thessalonians chapter two verse four go ahead and turn there and follow along as i read this verse paul is talking about the antichrist and this is what he writes he referring to the antichrist will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called god or his worship so that he sets himself up in god's temple proclaiming himself to be god now most people assume when they read this verse that the antichrist is going to literally say i am god and of course islam teaches that there's only one god and allah is his name so no muslim would ever claim to be god and if he did no muslim would ever follow him in fact they would execute him for committing blasphemy so according to most scholars second thessalonians chapter 2 verse number 4 is proof that the antichrist won't be a muslim in fact he can't be a muslim because paul said that the antichrist is going to claim to be god and no muslim would ever do that but is that what this verse is really saying no no not at all and i'll show you why i say that look back at verse number four and i want you to underline the word proclaiming he the antichrist will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called god or his worship so that he sets himself up in god's temple proclaiming himself to be god now the word proclaiming is translated from the greek word upon like nume apodic nume and it doesn't mean to say or to speak so it's not saying that the antichrist is going to say or speak out i am god no it doesn't say that that's not what that word means upon diagnome means to demonstrate by your actions and behaviors or to declare by your actions or behaviors so this verse isn't saying that the antichrist is going to literally say i am god no it doesn't say that at all in fact what it says is the antichrist behavior and actions will give the impression from a jewish perspective and a christian perspective that he's claiming to be god but it won't give that impression from a muslim perspective and let me explain why i say that one of the arguments that muslim scholars make to deny the deity of jesus is that jesus never actually said he never actually came out and said i am god and it's true jesus never actually came out and said i am god but jesus demonstrated that he was god by his actions and his behavior first of all he accepted worship and no one is supposed to be worshipped by god remember in the book of revelation john doesn't know what's coming and what's going i mean all he's seeing is this vision and this angel comes to him and all of a sudden he falls down at the feet of the angels and begins to worship him and what does the angel do get up get up get up no one's to be worshipped but god let me tell you something nothing is to be worshipped but god money is not to be worshipped popularity is not to be worshipped power is not to be worshipped nothing is to be worshipped but god but here's what's interesting jesus accepted worship look at matthew chapter 28 verse number 9 and as they went jesus met them and greeted them and they ran to him graft his feet and worshiped him and jesus didn't say get up get up get up i'm not god don't worship me no no he didn't say that at all he accepted worship secondly jesus forgave sins which is something only god can do look at mark chapter 2 verses 5-7 seeing their faith jesus said to the paralyzed man my child your sins are forgiven but some of the teachers of the religious law who were sitting there thought to themselves what is he saying blasphemy only god can forgive sins is that true well yeah it's true i can forgive you if you do something bad to me i can forgive you for what you've done to me but i can't forgive you of your sins only god can do that thirdly jesus called god his father now today that doesn't seem that big a deal because we even pray our father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name when jesus taught that prayer it was like jesus you can't say that you won't find anyone in the old testament ever referring to jesus as father do you want to know why we refer to god as father i'm sorry you don't find anyone in the old testament referring to god as father do you know why we can do that because we've been adopted into the family of god through jesus christ who is a legitimate son god is his true father and when the holy spirit works in us and we accept jesus christ the spirit inside of us cries out abba god is now our father but that was a totally new concept when jesus thought this look at john chapter 8 verse 54 jesus replied if i glorify myself my glory means nothing my father who you claim is your god is the one who glorifies me oh my gosh that's that just created a big stir because by saying god is his father he's coming and saying i'm equal with god and last but not least jesus referred to himself as i am which is an old testament reference to god if you remember when moses is going back to egypt and he says well god who do i tell the children of israel who do i tell them sent me he says you tell them that i am hath sent you and most of us have no idea what that means but i want you to notice what jesus said in this old testament verse look at john chapter 8 verse 58 jesus answered i tell you the truth before abraham was past tense even born i am present tense see i am means you're on the prison it means you're everywhere at all times you go down there you tell them that i am have sent you i am everywhere at all times i am whatever they need jesus says this but the way he says it lets us know that jesus is claiming to be omnipresent because he says before abraham was even born and abraham was before moses well before abraham was ever born in the past i am in the present claiming to be everywhere at all times he was back there and he was also here at the same time simultaneously whoa so even though jesus never actually came out and said i am god jesus demonstrated it by his actions and his behaviors and the jews understood that jesus was declaring himself to be god by his actions and his behaviors and people that's why they sought to kill jesus look at john chapter 5 verse 18. so the jewish leaders tried all the harder to find a way to kill him for he not only broke the sabbath he caught god his father verified thereby making himself equal with god how dare he and then as christians have the audacity to come and go oh abba god our father people that was all new no no you can't do that you're making yourself equal with god we understand what we mean by it but when jesus was saying god's his father he was therefore thereby making himself equal with god and they wanted to kill him now here's what's interesting what jews and christians consider to be attributes of god muslims don't in other words if a man claims to be sinless and infallible jews and christians believe that he's claiming to be god because only god is sinless and infallible but muslims believe that the al-mahdi the islamic messiah will be sinless and infallible yeah it's true you see muslims believe in a doctrine called taharah and a doctrine called isma tahara means purification it's a process by which allah made the prophet muhammed pure and sinless and it's going to be bestowed upon the al-madi islam's messiah when he comes now how many of you know the almighty is the antichrist yeah isma is what protects who allah has made pure from sinning or doing anything that would cause them to lose their state of sinlessness so basically it makes them infallible or in other words it makes them incapable of making a mistake or any error so when the alma d comes he will claim to be the sinless and infallible savior of the world which from a christian and jewish perspective is blasphemy for only god is sinless and infallible and the savior of the world and that's why we believe that jesus is god but from a muslim perspective that's not for me that's a part of their doctrine when the al mahdi comes he will be the sinless and infallible savior of the world and he will lead a world revolution that will set up a new world or order based on sharia law and no other religion will be practiced in the last three and a half years of the tribulation yeah if you don't worship the beast the image of the beast if you don't take the mark not only can you not buy and sell but you're going to be put to death in the last three and a half years of the tribulation that's what other prophecies tell us so from a jewish and christian perspective the al-maldi will be proclaiming he's god when he claims to be sinless and infallible savior of the world because only god is sinless and infallible so he's making himself equal to god but from a muslim's perspective that's not making yourself equal to god in fact islamic eschatology teaches that the al-mahdi will be sinless to hara and infallible isma the second objection to the antichrist being a muslim is based on daniel chapter 11 verses 36 and 37. go ahead and turn there if you don't mind and follow along with me as i read this passage of scripture notice what it says and the king shall do according to his will who is this king well if you go back and read it in context daniel's talking about the antichrist and the king shall do according to his will and he shall exalt himself and magnum spy himself above every god and shall speak marvelous things against the god of gods who's the god of gods will you know the god of god yahweh our god and so prosper till the indignation be accomplished for that which is determined shall be done neither shall he regard the god of his fathers nor the desire of women nor regard any god for he shall magnify himself above all now the argument against the antichrist being a muslim is that verse 36 says that he will exalt himself above every god and if he exalts himself above every god that would also include allah and no muslim would ever put up with that but the problem with this argument is that it doesn't take verse 36 in context with the verses that follow you see in verse 38 daniel gives one exception so let's read verses 36 and 37 again except this time let's keep it in context and let's read verse 38 also notice what it says in the king the antichrist shall do according to his will and he shall exalt himself and magnify himself above every god and shall speak marvelous things against the god of gods and shall prosper to the indignation be accomplished in other words a set time three and a half years for that which is determined shall be done neither shall he regard the god of his fathers nor the desire of women nor regard any god for he shall magnify himself above all but in his estate shall he honor the god of horses and the god whom his fathers knew not shall he honor with gold and silver and with precious stones and pleasant things do you see that he'll exalt himself over every god except one yeah verse 38 says he'll exalt himself over every god except one the god of forces and that god he will honor so if we read the whole passage of scripture and we don't take it out of context we find out two valuable pieces of information concerning the antichrist first of all he'll exalt himself above every god except for one the god of forces in other words the god of war and violence that's what the word forces and and the hebrew means it means the god of violence the god of war which is who allah as you've seen on the news islam is not a peaceful religion it's a violent religion they'll say it's a peaceful religion but you have to understand only in the house of islam is it peaceful if everyone would just submit to allah then it'll be a peaceful religion but if you refuse to submit to allah then we must kill you that sounds like a peaceful religion no people allah is a violent god that's why he's known as the god of forces the god of jihad in fact i'll just say this if you're ever out in public and you see a group of muslim men yelling allahu akbar you better start running because something's going to happen a bomb's going to explode they're going to go and try and beat someone they're going to burn something down yeah what is all the who art boards anyone know allah is great when i took a group over to israel i didn't say anything but i got a little scared when we got on the temple mount but i never i never said a word when we were up on the temple mount you know the the muslims are control of the temple might even though the jews have taken control of the city they allow them to have that so for so long the jews are not even allowed to go up there but when we were there a couple of jews were bringing up some children who were jews and when the muslims saw that man they started going the women are going and the men started saying allahu akbar and all of a sudden they started congregating and it was kind of like okay and even our guide he didn't tell anyone i was probably on the news like okay we got to get out of here and sure enough there's violence on the temple mount after we left and everyone told our group while we were there that there was violence on the temple mount but when i heard allah bar allah is great let me tell you they serve the god of violence the god of war the god of jihad that's allah and secondly second piece of valuable information verse 37 says that he'll have no regard for the god of his fathers instead he'll honor a god his fathers knew not now who is the god of his fathers well the word god in verse number 37 is translated from the hebrew word elohim which is one of the biblical names for the one true god now what's interesting is elohim is always written as a plural noun but it's always translated as a singular noun now you need to understand something about the hebrew language in hebrew plural always means three or more not two it never means two when it's in plural why because the hebrew language uses a dual to signify two and it uses a plural to designate three or more now the reason i bring that up is because elohim is plural but it's always translated as singular why when it's referring to god our god because of the trinity the godhead is one but within the godhead you have god the father god the son and god the holy spirit not a duel three so when daniel is talking about the god of his fathers he's talking about the hebrew god the christian god he says he will not honor the god of his father's that word god is elohim he is not going to honor the christian god the jewish god in other words the antichrist won't honor elohim the hebrew god and christian god now he didn't use the name yahweh because he's emphasizing the trinity he wants us to know specifically that the antichrist will not honor the hebrew god or the jewish god instead he'll honor a god his fathers didn't know look at verse 38 again but in his estate shall he honor the god of forces and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honor now wait a minute if the antichrist is going to be a muslim and more specifically in arab why would daniel refer to elohim as the god of his fathers well let's look at the lineage of abraham oh i dropped it oh look at that this is abraham's lineage up here notice that abraham is not only the father of the jews but he's also the father of the arabs can you see that take a look at this abraham had sarah as his wife she gave the handmaiden to him so from sarah he she had isaac from isaac came esau and jacob through them the chosen messiah is going to come so israel is the chosen nation the whole purpose of genesis is to show us why god chose israel and that through israel the chosen nation will come the messiah so that's why they're the chosen people but that's not the only children abraham had when the promised child didn't come sarah took things in their own hands said here take hagar my handmaiden and so through hagar you had ishmael ishmael had all of these sons but it wasn't over when sarah died hagar had been sent away he married again he married katura katura had zimran jackson men and midian ishbak and chihuahua as his sons from jackson comes sheban de dan saudi arabia from midian comes the bedouins now here's what's interesting all of the beginning of abraham's children all of them worshiped yahweh isaac esau jacob they worshipped yahweh abraham was their father ishmael worshiped yahweh yeah zimran jackson medin midian ishbak shuah all of them worship too yahweh because they were the children the lineage of abraham and abraham didn't allow anyone in his household to worship anyone but the god who had revealed himself to them so i want you to see that abraham and isaac worshiped hillah elohim but so did ishmael and so did the sons of katura so technically the arabs serve a god their fathers knew not because the god of their fathers abraham and ishmael was elohim yeah also known as yahweh now listen very closely to what i'm getting ready to say 2 thessalonians chapter 2 verse number 4 and daniel chapter 11 verses 36-38 proved just the opposite of what most people think they prove that the antichrist will be a muslim who comes from the middle east yeah yeah it's all in the details people many times where we go astray is we read something we take it at face value we think we know what it means but when we go in depth we realize that is not what it means now this is very interesting because i want you to see the reason we spent four weeks on the 70 week prophecy is because it's the backbone of biblical eschatology if you understand this one prophecy that really consists mainly of three verses 25 26 and 27 of daniel chapter 9. you know more about eschatology than most biblical professors in seminaries yeah and it's vital because when we get to the olivet discourse jesus makes reference to daniel's prophecy several times and you can't understand the olivet discourse if you don't understand the 70 weeks of israel now here's what i want you to get we are the final generation god has laid it out in detail over 25 years ago in fact he laid out jesus first visitation from the time the decree is given will be 172 880 days 173 880 days and the messiah will officially reveal himself and jesus did and they missed his first visitation but he has laid out his second visitation and i tell you what i believe i believe the majority of the church is going to be asleep and all of these people we think are christians aren't really christians and they're not going to be prepared for the return of jesus christ i take that back they won't be re they won't be prepared for the rapture because it will come like a thief in the night the second coming we know exactly when he's coming when that antichrist signs that peace treaty and the temple is allowed to be rebuilt we know that's going to be seven years we also know three and a half years into it this antichrist is going to break the peace treaty he's going to go into the sanctuary he's going to sit on the mercy seat and he's going to proclaim himself to be god will he say he's god no no muslim would follow him he's going to say i am the al-mundi i am sinless infallible the savior sent from allah yeah and then we can count three and a half more years and jesus is going to return second coming second coming and the rapture are two different things we know exactly when the second coming is going to come by counting the days from when that peace treaty happens we have no idea when the rapture is going to occur because it's imminent and most christians will be caught i shouldn't say that true christians even if they're unaware will still be caught up but the ones who think they have plenty of time and have never made jesus lord they're going to miss the rapture every sunday i get up here and i tell you be prepared we are the final generation
