where will the Antichrist come from will he actually be a friend of Israel what will the mark of the beast actually come into play join us today for session five of our end times timeline conference with Joel Richardson and he's going to pull all of this together for us today watch this [Music] foreign all right welcome back to our end times timeline conference with Joel Richardson super glad you're joining us for this um we have been working our way through a timeline of the seven year period and we are on session what are we on five wow okay so we're just going to continue on we're going to talk a little bit about about the Antichrist before we do my friend asked me as we left last session she said so basically when they make this peace treaty like we talked about we may or may not even know this is happening like like is this how are we going to be able to distinguish like oh okay this specific leader because we're going to talk about the Antichrist this specific leader that's making this is literally going to be the Antichrist like are we gonna know that you know again I think I it's hard to say but I think we we may but we may not okay you know I think they'll probably I think it'll be a big deal I think it'll be for a period of seven years I think it'll be celebrated so it'll be like okay we just signed a seven-year treaty and that might click into where oh the Oslo Accords were specifically said as a seven year real yeah that's why that's why people went crazy okay and it was like wow this seems pretty important and which is interesting that it sets a pattern that someone could come along and we've already got this pattern in you know relative recent history of a seven-year Regional peace treaty the abrahamic Accords I could be wrong might even have like a seven year time frame marked in them I've not read through them in great detail um but yeah it's something that could slip unnoticed but I think it'll be pretty comprehensive you know I think it'll be like finally as it says peace and safety yay you know peace and safety in our time sudden destruction comes upon them so I think if we're paying attention um I I never want to jump the gun you know this is that this is that this is that peace treaty bad bad but by the same token yeah the abrahamic Accords these are things like this are definitely something we should be paying attention to but they're not they're not it but again they're setting the precedent they're creating the pattern for what the scriptures are pretty specific about okay all right number 26 from your books it's clear that you believe the Antichrist will be a Muslim so talk about why you believe he will come from the Middle East and not Rome yeah so you know obviously I've written a few books on this and I could do a whole weekend just talking about this but in short um the Bible is and always has been okay this book and this you know I always make this point Americans sometimes get it this book is not primarily about America it's primarily first and foremost the context is Jerusalem Israel in the Middle East that's where everything happens that's where everything culminates this is an israel-centric book so and there's a that means there's a geographic context to all of these battles and so forth so when we look at the words of the prophets every single verse every single verse throughout the entire Bible that names names of the Nations that will be under the Antichrist that will invade Israel every single one is either a North African or Middle Eastern nation a Muslim majority Nation the Nations that immediately surround Israel and there's actually not a single verse anywhere that mentions a non-muslim-majority nation in the context of either following the Antichrist invading Israel or specifically being judged when the Lord returns he names names Nations regions tribes every single time it's a Muslim majority nation and it says the Antichrist will also come from that region the sort of turkey Iraq Syria area so I mean that's kind of the foundation for it is just like the Bible says he's going to come from this part of the world not Europe does that mean Europe won't be involved doesn't mean that what I always say is where the Bible is silent we need to be really careful but I could get into the history of how the church has come to believe that many of the prophecy teachers I think wrongly believe that Rome is where he comes from it's just a misunderstanding of really a couple verses Daniel 2 Daniel 7 Daniel 9 26. through misinterpreting those couple of texts and ignoring all of these other like literal clear direct passages that so many of them were the prophets named names we end up with this very European sort of perspective and it makes much more sense understanding the Israel centricity that it's Israel's neighbors that ultimately invade Israel and yes European nations could be involved but the Bible never says which ones and so we need to be very very careful there and there's so much more that we could talk about you can just look at the Theology of Islam and go yeah that pretty much lines up exactly with what the Bible describes with regard to the the religion the belief system the the um of the Antichrist like it says we're beheaded in the last days right do you think that Pope Francis and his crew are going to start beheading us what do you think Muslims would be more likely to do so you see what I'm saying I mean it's part that's actually part of their history and this type of thing so it just it fits hand in glove is the point and um there's been different people that have believed this down through history but I've probably been the most comprehensive in laying out the case for this if you want to read more about that my book Mideast Beast so you've got Islamic Antichrist out there lays it out lays out what Islam is expecting for the last days and I show that they're sort of their prophetic Messianic figures that they're looking for are basically the Antichrist and the false prophet like to a T um to the point where even Muslims believe that their Messiah figure they call them the the Mahdi or the Mahdi they believe that he will come cause Islam to be the Supreme religion throughout the Earth he'll rule the world from the Temple mount for seven years you go that's what the Bible says about the Antichrist you go yeah that's the guy they're waiting for that's in their prophecies so so I deal with that in Islamic Antichrist if you've never read it is a good book in Mideast Beast I work through all the biblical texts Daniel 2 Daniel 7 you know Ezekiel 38 39 etc etc and lay out the scriptural case um to back that up so if you're if you're into that sort of thing you'll um you'll like the books that's a that's a joke as an author when um someone sends you a book and they go can you endorse this for me and you're like I like this guy but I just think this stuff's crazy is you just say if you're into this stuff you'll love this book and it's just Joel Richardson oh okay well that sounds good almost you know I'm teaching through Genesis right now and we're just at the whole Ishmael Isaac thing and and I put up last week your map the one that you do with all the black Islamic nations with Israel in the center you know and the first time I ever saw that when you were here just like it almost my heart just dropped because I don't think people realize that everyone's surrounding Israel is a Muslim Nation like there it just is there's and and it's and it is playing into exactly what you've been been talking about Jesus is coming back to rule the world from a very specific City it's called Jerusalem he's going to restore the Throne of his father David the Torah the law of God will go forth to the Nations the ways of the Lord will be taught the knowledge of God will cover the Earth as the waters cover the sea Satan knows this and we're waiting for some new religion you know like just one day um Oprah is going to send out the email and everyone's going to sign up and convert oh there's the one world religion no like Satan has been extending his spidery fingers around the Throne of David for the past 1400 years it's it's already right there it's right in front of us and it's uh growing rapidly yeah um all right and number 27 we hear a lot about the Antichrist and how he will rule the world the Bible says but may talk about that because and this is the the question because when when okay so you have the the uh trumpet and the bowl judgments and I mean there's some massive things that are happening like the whole you know um the whole world like yeah and you're just like okay does this happen to all the whole entire Earth or so try to make all this sense of all that yeah those are some tough passages which by the way since you guys live in Phoenix And discussing this should I store up food if I were you guys I'd make sure I have some water but that's that's just me um he's serious yeah so the the primary passage that people use to argue that the Antichrist will rule the entire Earth every single nation will come under his authority the really only verse is revelation 13 7-8 which is talking about the mark of the beast and it says and also it talking about the Antichrist was allowed it's it's the horn or the Beast was allowed to make war with the Saints and to conquer them now notice you know people say the Lord would never allow um you know his bride to get beat up you know you hear this type of thing it says the Lord will allow the Antichrist Authority to make war against the Saints and to conquer us Jesus overcame the world by being overcome we will overcome him by the blood of the lamb and we don't love our lives unto death like this is Christianity 101 embracing the cross it's offensive to the American therapeutic gospel right this is what we need to be prepared for but it says Authority was given to the Antichrist over every tribe and people and language and nation and all who dwell on the earth will worship him so that's where you get that now let me just say the Bible is filled with statements like this it's called Hyperbole and it doesn't all doesn't always mean all in the days of Caesar Augustus a decree went out into all the world that it should be counted did they did in the days of Caesar Augustus did they go to the Ming Dynasty and count no it was Rome but it says all the world uh there's other statements where um Daniel says to Nebuchadnezzar are you O King or the King of Kings the god of Heaven has given you Authority and power wherever mankind dwells or Beasts of the field he has made you ruler over them all did Nebuchadnezzar rule over the United States where they're not deer running around here at that time yes there were Beasts of the field he ruled over Mesopotamia you've got probably six or seven passages just like this okay so all doesn't always mean all it's just saying it's gonna his authority is gonna be massive it's going to be huge it's like it's over the whole world and you could even say he'll have followers in every nation and tribe and people everywhere but does it mean that every single nation is going to come under every government every military is going to come under his control I don't think so at all I think the only one that's going to rule the world is Jesus Satan would love to and he's going to have some pretty significant control but I think it's going to be a lot Messier and um yeah chaotic than we imagine you know there's going to be little enclaves down in Texas out here in Phoenix you know you know they might not even be Christians just like I ain't gonna take no mark of the beast you know like you're going to have resistors you're going to have followers there's going to be people all over the place right so let's look at a few verses though um yeah here's one where Cyrus the King of Persia says the Lord God Of Heaven has given me all the kingdoms of the earth no he didn't he ruled Persia so many of these right all the world should be registered nope Okay so overwhelmingly when the Bible does get specific it talks about 10 Nations coming under the Antichrist and it uses the language of Kings or horns which represent Kings Daniel 7 verse 7 is a good good passage it says that this Beast which is symbolic of the kingdom of the Antichrist has ten horns in Daniel 7 verse 20. the meaning of the ten horns 7 24 as for the ten horns out of this Kingdom will come Ten Kings tells us what the symbolism means you see it in Revelation 12 verse 3 a great Dragon having seven heads ten horns Revelation 13 1 the Beast has ten crowns again Ten Kings Revelation 17 verse 3 ten horns Revelation 17 verse 7 uh ten horns I think that's eight times the Bible specifies the number of Kingdoms that will come under him as ten he is the eleventh okay some people say well this is going to be 10 the whole earth is going to be divided up into 10 sections because they're determined to to say Revelation 13 must mean every single last nation in the earth I go no it's talking 10 Nations 10 Kings It also says elsewhere I'm sorry there's some more in Revelation 17 17 12 and 16. It also says in Daniel 11 that there will be some Nations that will escape okay so it says the Antichrist will pass through overflow many countries he will come into the Glorious land that's the land of Israel tens of thousands shall fall but these will be delivered out of his hand Edom and Moab and the foremost parts of Ammon or the ammonites this is probably modern day Jordan it seems to be saying that Jordan will escape his hand so that right there is one nation that won't come under his authority what about Papua New Guinea what about Canada what about Argentina you know like the Bible doesn't we don't know we don't know any of these things what his influence will be in all the you know it's going to be different like I said in the jungles of Papua New Guinea and in the Yukon you know someplace up in Canada or in Alaska it's going to be different all over the world the epicenter of these things is the Middle East now we should be prepared no matter where we live because we don't know the specifics we don't know the details it could be much more Global than I'm saying but there's some pretty clear scriptural indicators that it won't necessarily be every single hesitation sorry that freaked me out so you got this little kid out there with a big tie-dye sweatshirt and blonde hair that she's dyed blue a little bit skateboarding and I was like man that little old lady can skateboard really good and then I realized it was like anyway um so if that's the way if that's how you you interpret it being mostly israel-centric with all the Middle East then what you're saying is then the first three and a half years when Jesus is talking about the wars and the famines and the you know the things like that you're saying that that will most likely be in that general area unless it does open up worldwide but there's that's going to be the center of it not so much yes that's the tip of the spear that's the epicenter but we don't know what it's going to look like on the peripherals right well well especially if you've got an Islamic Antichrist and you've and we know how much Islam has become a huge part of just the United States too so yeah I mean look at like antifa right now you know what I mean like it's everywhere you know you can say it's everywhere but they don't rule the whole world but you know it's almost like throughout Europe throughout the United States you know it's much different in Portland than it is in Phoenix but you've probably got some you know you know what I'm saying so it'll be kind of like that look at a couple more verses just to make this point because this is important you see the Antichrist gets all upset in chapter 11 verse 44 Daniel he said it says news from the East and the north shall alarm him he goes out with great Fury to destroy could this be Russia and China it's the North and the East maybe like we don't know but it seems that there's events that upset him it seems as though his authority is threatened and then you've got this one a lot of people Miss at the end of Daniel 9 verse 26 it says even to the end there will be War the presence of War means that the Antichrist like if he controlled every single nation there'd be no Wars right but it says there will be War until the very end the presence of War proves that there will be some resistor militaries the fact that there will be resistor militaries means there will be some governments that don't come under his authority so you know we need to take Matthew I mean we need to take Revelation 13 seriously with regard to the mark of the beast I don't know if it's going to be instituted every single place with you know digital stuff these days it's possible but we also need to be open that it might not necessarily be everything look it says whoever takes the mark of the beast Goes to Hell whoever takes the mark of the beast worships the Beast like they go together we know that the whole remnant of Israel is going to get saved so we can say Israel is not going to most of Israel won't take the mark of the beast you know I'm saying so there's clearly going to be um the the redeemed the reprobate that worship the Beast and they'll also be resistors there'll be all kinds of people all over the place and when I say resistors just think you know so there'll be all kinds of different people it's going to be messy life is messy the world is usually complicated every people are complicated the end times are going to be very it's not like we're going to suddenly cross this magic line and everyone's going to fall in line in either either you're satanic or you're not you know it's just that's just not the way life is it's going to be confusing it's going to be chaotic so the Bible gives us a lot of different data and we need to weigh it all and then just be prepared for all of the different possibilities all right um You just talked about the mark of the beast let's talk about that I I did do a lesson on that because people were writing me going you know the the kova the shot don't take the shot it's the the mark of the beast I'm like really like no so talk about that yeah covid was definitely not the mark of the beast I mean the the vaccines were not the mark of the beast um how do you say it this guy's not the Antichrist although he is an antichrist um but I I got vaccinated I had to to go to Saudi Arabia but I uh definitely did have some regret but that's neither here nor there um with regard to the mark of the beast when will it be established so this is very clear it is instituted at the same time that the Abomination that causes desolation is set up they go together so we think of the mark of the beast it kind of has this you know again this this Mystique in the Christian world so every time there's some type of new technology Christians go crazy uh people thought Social Security when Social Security came up that's the mark of the beast because it's a combination of different numbers whatever and then credit cards credit cards of the mark of the beast no but once they put the chip in it oh there's a chip in the credit card that's the mark of the beast no um you know it's a microchip and we're still we still got people that are afraid of you know microchips and this type of thing and then it's Sweden right now they're actually putting chips so they can just go and scan and you go that's the mark of the piece and look all of these things are very concerning from a uh sort of libertarian perspective government control like these things are all very dangerous like apart from the Bible but credit cards are not the mark of the beast social security number is not the mark of the beast the covet vaccine is not the mark of the beast um but the enforcement of all of these things is dangerous the more that government has control okay but what the Bible says with regard to the mark of the beast is whoever takes it worships the Beast the mark of the beast is not something that someone can pin you to the ground and go uh got the mark of the beast you're going to hell well you know like Satan found some little loophole in the whole salvation system well I believe in Jesus yeah you know like it's like a Nerf tag football game or something like tag we got you you're going to hell like it's not something you can take by accident it's not something you can be forced it's something that you must willingly take people go to hell based on their acceptance or rejection and denial of Jesus it's a spiritual issue and the mark of the beast is tied to the worship of the Beast it's tied to this thing that gets set up in the middle of the seven years um that you know it's the defining line are you going to worship this guy or not and if you don't they will persecute you they will go after you and so yes you could say unbelievers that are on the fence could take the mark of the beast out of pressure but it's not something that Christians you know will be forced or like well what if they force it on my children I don't want my kids to go to hell it's it's not like that it's you could even say the mark of the beast is a it's a doctrinal issue you know it's about accepting this individual as something other than uh accepting someone other than Jesus so that's important but yes it is in the middle because it's the abomination of desolation the mark of the beast the image of the Beast these things that get established on the Temple Mount they begin the persecution they begin the last three and a half years they begin the tribulation perfect okay I know we have a verse in there why do I not see it uh Revelation 13 yeah I mean it talks about it without it you can't buy or sell people go well you know if it's not primarily about the technology then how do you deal with this issue of look let me just give you an example I don't know what the mark of the beast is going to be it could be technology it very well may be um there's a story of a a Coptic Christian family in Cairo a few years ago during the um the Egyptian revolution when the Muslim Brotherhood took over for that one year when Mohammed Morsi was president and this Coptic Christian lived in a very Muslim neighborhood and he had a store he had a shop this was how he made his living well the Muslims became very bold during that year that the the Brotherhood was in power and they basically said to the guy they said we're going to stop buying from your store unless you convert to Islam if you don't convert to Islam you're gonna go broke you won't be able to feed your kids and in Egypt they it's really brutal um they'll actually kidnap young Christian girls and um this hat this has happened a lot like rape them and film it and then blackmail them and say if you don't convert to Islam I'll show your family the video and then they get all upset and convert to Islam once how does someone convert to Islam they say What's called the shahada it's a Creed there is no God other than Allah and Muhammad is the final messenger of Allah they say that publicly once they do that on their ID it says Muslim and then if you want to go back to being a Christian you're potentially subject to death penalty and so you know that there's no technology there it's say the Creed make the confession deny Christ and with tears in his eyes the father converted to Islam so that he could feed his family so you know it says they will receive a mark of some we don't know what it's going to be but we we can get pictures we can get an idea of what the mark of the beast could be like and again Islam already kind of has something that they have Sharia law they have whenever Islam is established in an area um you're allowed to be a Christian or a Jew if you're a subjected person you have to pay this tax um and then you're supposedly left alone it's kind of like the mafia protection thing you know yeah you got to pay us the protection money protection from who you know you never know um type of thing and it's it's very similar it's called the Jizzy attacks but in any case like we don't know what it's going to be but it will be creedal it will be a statement of faith that ultimately denies Jesus and it will be tied into an economic system the ability to you know enjoy livelihood and provide your family these type of things and so you can see why the pressure would be intense but it's not something that will people will will do unknowingly you know accidentally whoops I had no idea I thought it was just to protect grandma from getting coveted you know nope you didn't re-watch the right YouTube video you're going to hell no that's that's not what this is uh the previous one I know that that one on Revelation 13 16. so he causes all the small and the great the rich and the poor the free men and slaves to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead which by the way ironically when I got the coveted shot I asked if they could give it in my forehead no just kidding they said sorry shoulder I was like so um and he provides that no one will be able to buy or sell except the one who has the mark which the mark by the way is the name of the Beast or the number of his name so the mark itself seems to identify with the Antichrist whatever his Doctrine is you're wearing the badge you're saying I got the Hat you know I'm I'm a supporter make America great again whatever it is you know you've you're on board you're on the team and so there's you know there's a lot that's tied there okay uh and we've probably talked on touch a lot of this but 29 is will this start the chain reaction in Israel and the worldwide or maybe just persecution of Christians there so it's this halfway point mark of the beast is this something that will now press that forward yeah so obviously as we've discussed this is when the real tribulation breaks out but I think it will break out worldwide um I think it will break out worldwide you know again just look at the atmosphere in the United States not just in the United States but throughout much of the world right now like the hatred the animosity um you know people are afraid to put up a political sign in the yard because they're afraid their neighbor might vandalize their house right like how many people can identify with that like I don't even want to put a sign out because I'm afraid my next door neighbors that I generally get along with that they might egg my house or scratch my car like that's these are things that you know we're going through right now and this is in the Civilized world um I think that whatever starts there is going to Fan out throughout the whole world and I think there's some scripture that supports that but let's just start here notice that the geographic center of it first is Israel when you see the abomination of desolation spoken about the Prophet Daniel standing in the Holy place he goes again let the reader understand let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains he doesn't say like if you're in Phoenix like head over to the Apache no what's what we're the really cool mountain range you guys have the Superstition yeah like so when you see the Abomination head to the Superstition no it's not just like random mountains like if you're in Missouri go to the Ozarks if you're in North Carolina go to the Smokies he says when you're in Judea flee so it starts out with a very geographically centered thing this is where it starts but there's other passages which I do think are clear that it will be quite Global again it's going to be different everywhere um but let's look at that so he says then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death and you will be hated by all Gentiles by All Nations for my name's sake so it really is about those who hold to the testimony of Jesus and say I'm not going along with this system maybe it will be some wonderful economic system that promises to you know like right now look at Elon Musk is he a hero or is he a villain everyone like so right now the left is furious because he bought Twitter the left are going nuts we're leaving Twitter and he's like I support freedom of speech and so the writer like I love this guy Elon Musk well then did you see what he dressed up as on Halloween he puts on like this like like gladiator costume with the goat head with an upside down cross on his chest if you look right now you know he on Twitter it says location he says hell um some Muslims said God bless you and he says uh this was a few months ago and he goes um they said something like well I will pray that you find your way to heaven he goes I don't want to go to heaven I want to go to hell because that's where most people are going you know so is he a hero or is he a villain and this is the thing is you know there could be some system that's put in place that it could look wonderful all the Libertarians and conservatives might be like this is awesome it's going to set us free from government control and you know like Putin in is he a hero or a villain right now he's strangely like I grew up I was a first of all I was a you know super Boston Democrat with like this Idol of John Kennedy on my family mantle but then I after I got saved I became conservative and so I was like a Reagan conservative so for me Russia communism was bad now you have all these conservatives that are like Putin's great because he's invading Ukraine and they're just an outpost for Klaus Schwab and the globalists so he's a good guy and I'm like is he though do you understand I'm saying like well he's against homosexuality and so Christians should like him and I'm like and he's invading and killing people and so like you can see how the church could be very confused at the like is the like is this whole mark of the beast good or is it bad or you know what but there's a coming a point where when you refuse to be part of this system because you go I'm holding on to Jesus the whole world's going to hate us and so again I'm just throwing these different things out there to say we don't know exactly what it's going to be but we can speculate we can see how the whole world will hate us if we refuse to be part of it why are you ruining everything we finally have a system in place that works for everyone because I don't want to renounce Jesus because to me I'm not going to be part of this this Antichrist system I'm not going to make the Antichrist an idol I'm not going to be part of that you know you stubborn religious people they will deliver us to tribulation actually put us to death so I think it will be Global but yes it begins at the epicenter the locus of all these things in Jerusalem and it seems to have we need to at least be prepared that it will reach the ends of the Earth so but ultimately again we don't know we really don't know my has robbed for those of you know Rob he he loves Elon Musk just because we have starlink in our house now and it's kind of changed our life because we live in the middle of kind of way far out there now can anyone get a starlink modem well you can't you have to sign up for it and like it took us a year to get it but it might be faster it depends on if it's in your area could well I guess I could ask Rob could he get if let's say I had your modem because they put up starlink in Iran and I smuggled it into Iran would it work I don't know you call Elon on that no and then tell him about Jesus Rob prays for Elon every day he's like I'm going to make sure that Elon gets saved he goes to heaven I'm like oh that's really sweet um he just has to partner with that prayer that's that's the problem um so anyway but I don't know the answer to that but that's a really good question because I think you have to we're trying to get them into Iran for the underground church but it's like an area like so ours is like a specific area and you have to have a specific address that goes up at that particular thing so anyway but I can I have good internet now so yay that's great um good internet I'll renounce Jesus as long as I have higher faster Wi-Fi now I'm just kidding but my kids or Bible study see yeah see she's all about Bibles my kids are like yeah I can I can watch videos faster [Laughter] next we're trying to go off of Matthew 24 . uh the says the whole gospel will be proclaimed to the whole world so what what does that mean Matthew 24. so yeah ultimately the testimony of Jesus will be proclaimed until the very the very end so Jesus makes the statement so you've got Matthew 24 13-14 the one who endures to the end will be saved and this gospel will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to All Nations and then the end will come now let me just throw something else out I just thought of this because it's really pretty powerful this is the finish line that a lot of Christians are saying we just need to finish the proclamation of the gospel and then Jesus will come back and that's kind of true but you've also got another very critical Finish Line that very few people talk about that we also have to cross and that is Revelation 6 when he opened the fifth seal I saw under the altar The Souls of those who had been slain for the word of God so they were killed because of the word of God and for the witness they had borne the word witness in Greek by the way is Markus it means martyr they because they they open their mouths they were Witnesses they were martyrs so being a witness and being a martyr is one in the same and then they cried out with a loud voice and they're like Lord how much longer until you come back and fix everything you know until you avenge our blood verse 11 they were each given a white robe and told to wait a little longer until the full number of their fellow servants their brothers should be complete who were to be killed as they themselves had been so not only do we have to finish the proclamation of the gospel and then the end will come we also have to fill up the full number of Martyrs no one likes to talk about Revelation 6 verse 11 everyone focuses on Matthew 24 14. these are both the finish line that we all collectively will cross and I would argue that they are integly interwoven okay there is we are called to live a life that testifies to the gospel why why do you why why'd you quit drinking why'd you quit drugs my brother just said just hit 20 years sobriety right um I'm at about 31. why did you quit doing drugs because the gospel like our lives bear Witness but there's nothing more powerful there is nothing more powerful than yes when you live a life that you lay down your life you go I could have all these other things but I choose not to because I believe in the resurrection I believe in the rewards of the age to come but there's nothing more powerful than when you lay down the one life that you have willingly and you say I believe in the resurrection being a martyr there's nothing more powerful and you know so people the pre-tribbers will say God would never allow his bride to be beat up before the wedding and I go guys this is going to be the church's greatest opportunity in the history of the world to Bear witness concerning the gospel collectively the whole church will have the opportunity to lay down our lives and say I believe this stuff I believe these things that I'm saying and nothing demonstrates it more powerful than actually laying down your life willingly okay so how will it be proclaimed it also you've got not just the church is proclaiming you also got these two characters called the two witnesses there's a lot of questions in terms of who they are I will grant authority to my two witnesses and they will prophesy for 1260 days so the last three and a half years they're prophesying um it says during the days of their prophesying they have you know so they're prophesying but they also are bearing witness to the gospel obviously they're not just saying like you know the lottery number this week is going to be thus inside you know they're not just throwing out random information they are declaring gospel truth and then you have this one I saw another Angel Revelation 14 6-7 flying in midheaven having an eternal gospel to preach what does this mean you've got an angel that appears to be flying through the sky preaching to the Earth like what is that and I love this that you go what is the gospel it says that he will preach the gospel to those who live on the earth to Every Nation tribe and tongue and what does he say what is what is the first words he say fear God fear God like there's not again let me just say this I'm preaching it's a little off topic When Trials come when pain comes the natural reaction as we try to self-medicate we try to anesthetize we say you know I'm going to lean a little bit on whatever it might be alcohol weed drugs illicit relationships pornography just whatever binge watching Netflix maybe you know like you name it we try to anesthetize and this is just you know this is the sin that's so easily entangles let us cast aside every encumbrance and the sin that so easily entangles all of us and when the tribulation comes the whole church is going to be wrestling with these things and we need to walk in the fear of the Lord there's nothing that will get you to walk free from drugs alcohol pornography illicit relationships there's nothing better than the fear of the Lord that says there's consequences for every action that I make and this type of thing so it's I think it's powerful that the angel is declaring listen Church fear the lord don't listen to this shallow therapeutic American gospel that never talks about hell that doesn't talk about the fear of the Lord that just tells you how to live and your best life now that doesn't talk about laying down your life it doesn't know what he talks about martyrdom it says remember the fear of the Lord it is pure it's the beginning of wisdom and so it's just a beautiful thing sorry that's a side sermon but there's multiple ways that the gospel will be proclaimed but it will be proclaimed right up until the the very bitter end that is just what you talked about the therapeutic no one's talking about following Jesus what what do people do I actually had people come to me last night and go I don't know where to go to church now like because no one's really teaching you know truth they're not they're they're they're just the whole therapeutic and they're like I really want to grow in my faith so but there aren't that many churches out there that are I mean do you have a lot of them where you are or look there's so the last thing I want to do is be the guy that comes and then gets all the Christians to stop going to church no no it wasn't like that it wasn't like that at all no but sometimes I do like constantly Fai Dalton and I we get emails people are like I love your stuff I can't find a church anymore I'm so angry at church they're not teaching the truth like I would far rather go to a church where I disagree with a bunch of their stuff but they're still serving the poor they still have the the um Celebrate Recovery Ministry they've got marriage you know they're they're still doing some good stuff like don't stop going to church but there's a lot of other ways you can find folks that have the same passion as you get together on Saturday morning eat breakfast together open up the word come to women's Bible study find like-minded people who aren't living necessarily shallow and don't be judgy right because the bottom line is we're pretty shallow too right like we all are we can be um do you understand and like so don't assume everyone that goes to the church are all shallowed just because the message is 30 quick minutes and it's in and out and it's massive and it doesn't really go deep but there's plenty of churches that are going deep um and you can find them and in fact many it's amazing I I've observed the past couple years it was the churches that were smaller that went deep and they grew during covid the mega churches shrunk you talk to the pastors of not look I'm not opposed to mega church some great mega churches out there some really solid giant churches large churches but a lot of them that were preaching that super you know in and out assembly line Christianity again quick Snappy little 30-minute sermon you know blah blah blah you know get your kids checked in everything's good yeah we've my wife look it's hard when you got kids and stuff finally it's hard we took our kids to this one church and I was like man they got this system like this whole thing they got the donuts they got the coffee they got the donuts for the teens um I went in and and time to wake up and they had the whole system for the kids and I was like look at this it's like it's like Disney World for the kids and I was like they got it going on immediately after we left we went first time visitors the pastor sent us this video personal video from the pastor hey Levi my kids were I hate to say it in a business but but then I go the only thing they didn't do I said to my wife this was a few years ago the only thing they didn't do was actually give our kids money my daughter goes no dad look kids bucks and they have these like prizes or something I was like oh my gosh so anyway it's just funny American Christianity is funny I don't think the early Apostles had like uh playgrounds yeah but anyway find Believers that are doing it open the word of God get into prayer there's there's a Remnant everywhere you know even Elijah he was like I'm the only faith little one left and the Lord's like all right Peewee like I got 6 000 Reserve you're not the only one but sometimes in this age it feels like you know you look out you're like God all these people are falling away my kids are you know like on it you go like I feel like I'm the only one it's like look there's there's always going to be a Remnant sometimes it's hard to find but [Music] foreign
