Terraria, But There's No Immunity Frames...

in this video i play terraria but here's the catch there are no immunity frames immunity frames take place when you get hit giving you a short amount of time of invincibility before you're able to get hit again so mere slimes can be just as deadly as some of the bosses in this game will i be able to defeat moonlord stay tuned to find out [Music] alright let's get started guys i'm just going to chop down some trees for some wood to get started but yeah there's no immunity frames so that basically means like when i get hit there's a short window of um of time where i can't get hit anymore so if you remove that then let's just test it out right here hit me slimes yeah um that happens so enemies don't have immunity frames and so do i i do not have those as well okay so this is going to be a really hard challenge for me but obviously it's going to be really fun so i'm just going to figure out which weapons will be the best i'm guessing like slow projectiles maybe like a mage class like those books but yeah we'll just test around some few things and see what works best so yeah let's see what's inside this chest okay we got a spear um this could be really good all right let's test the sparrow on this slime wow okay that's really really strong so i did about like four hits i think four hits in just one swing that is that is wow that really um surprises me dead okay now this vulture i am very scared of this vulture uh let's just go for it please don't kill me okay okay you know what it's not bad not bad at all but i feel like if i let it get too close to me it's just gonna obliterate me might as well just collect some cactus while i'm here make some cactus armor see the thing is i the cactus armor could be really good because um i feel like the immunity works like that if they hit me for like a lot of damage then it'll all get transferred over to them as well maybe we're just gonna have to test a lot of things out first i am so scared to go down yep just keep walking slime or keep bouncing i mean ah oh my god that was scary oh oh no oh my god okay almost died there oh my god that scared them oh that scared me that scared me made my heart jump a little god damn it okay we go back oh is that a diamond tree oh my god it is okay that means we can get the best pre-hard mode hook pretty early on let's just replant some of these oh god please don't jump on me okay we're good um i thought i killed the baby slimes as well but since they were like kind of darker color i couldn't really see them because i guess we can just go straight into the jungle now because i know there's a bunch of loot there with a lot of chests and life crystals as well oh my god i'll take anything honestly i'll take i'll take a shotgun oh no sorry not a shotgun a boomstick that's what it's called i'll take a boomstick there we go all right perfect okay i'll take that we can make the uh lightning boots now ow yo you see what i mean just a second and it did it did 120 damage i knew i knew that was gonna happen i don't know why i stayed there my fault and we go get away get away oh god no i can't even get back down all right so the jungle might be a bit too dangerous for me and above ground it seems i'm just gonna dig straight down from here and hopefully i can find some good loot okay we got some rubies which means king slime five attempts all right boom yo we take those we take those as long as it wasn't like a flare gun then we're good there you are oh god i can't see the black slime oh another heart statue and the extractor yes oh my god it's the dune rider boots and we got a desert mine cart haven't seen that one before all right we're just gonna do a bit of extracting first just to see what we can get because i haven't played um terraria 1.4 in such a long time so maybe they added something new not really sure i'm gonna test something with the bone javelin if this ends up piercing uh then i'm gonna go down to the desert and get some more sturdy fossils and make the full armor set if it doesn't then we'll just stick with what we have for now um oh okay i did not know they stuck onto enemies okay never mind then i think this would just be better okay let's let's test out the bone throwing knives now uh since the bone javelin does not work so hopefully this will pierce enemies all right let's see okay this one works uh so let's go and get some more fossils or sturdy fossils and then we can make our full fossil armor set and then we can kill the king slime and the eye of cthulhu all right we got 66 now that enough 15 20 yeah should be enough okay and then the helmet perfect and we have a 20 chance to not consume ammo very nice but i think i'm going to need more than 180 so i'm gonna have to go back down let's turn all of that into the knives all right we have a thousand bone throwing knives i think we're ready now so let's go get our gold our rubies then let's make gold crown okay we can make two slime crayons i'm just gonna explore what's down here just in case if there's any like life crystals maybe oh you know i could get the um the pitched fork i think that's what it's called i have some bombs here bom bom boms let's just hope i get it the undertaker that does not pierce i don't think yeah it does not okay let's just break one more oh yes oh it's not the pitch for the rotted fork nice i like that negative 10 percent knockback all right let's see how strong this weapon is and it's a lot bigger too oh yeah oh yeah i'm gonna have so much fun with this yeah let's summon the king slime all right three two one nice we got it okay perfect all right so now let's try to get enough lenses so we can fight the eye of cthulhu all right you know what i actually have a better idea uh i'm gonna fight the brain of cthulhu instead because i think it might be easier uh synthetic since i can just like kill the the cells or whatever the eyeballs floating around the brain um almost instantly perhaps and we can still get up here we go go go go go get up get up get up hey where are the okay please don't kill me we're good we're good okay throw it down now jump up this is actually really scary because these things can actually just one shot me okay oh oh god okay okay that wasn't so bad let's collect our loot and now we can make our chrimtain no deathbringer pickaxe oh goblin army's approaching oh we can make the meatball i've never seen this actually before is it like a um like flail oh it is oh it's a flail [Music] wait isn't this one gonna be really good then oh the goblin army's here already run let's see how good this thing is ah wait what does this not affect these guys oh no okay over this one okay this one does that's very strange all right i'm gonna start collecting these spiky belts and hopefully they work hopefully they work as well let's see now oh yes they do work and toss a lot of them on the ground there we go oh a meteorite fell oh we can make the space gun and the meteorite suit because i know for sure that the that the um the space gun pierces that's gonna be really good all right i think that should be enough let's make our meteorite bars and then space gun the meteors helmet suit and leggings damn i look bad okay before we fight skeletron i'm just gonna go to the sky islands real quick and um see if we can find like the lucky horseshoe or even the fledgling wings i'm hoping for that one the most it's gonna be a shiny red balloon right oh yes let's go let's go okay okay all right let's go to the dungeon now kill skilltron get the cobalt shield and then wall of flesh all right we should be good now what i'm thinking um i don't think the space gun is going to be really ah i don't know like the bone throwing knife might be better but we'll see we'll see let's just do this for now have these two narrow each other so i can just switch out whenever all right but maybe okay hold on maybe i should fight the eye of cthulhu first just so we can get the shield i think that would be better all right let's go back kind of baited you guys my bad three two one go [Music] okay the only bosses that are like thick then [Music] the space gun is good and you're dead please oh god okay that wasn't so bad that was actually really easy okay i think we're gonna have to wait until the next night because it's almost daytime so meanwhile we can just dig now we need some obsidian so let's go over here okay molten pickaxe first then the imp staff annoying no uh can we make another one godly much better yeah we should be good three two one okay so far so good okay gotta be careful now um why did i do that who knows oh there he is okay rocky boots and workshop oh wait we can make lightning boots right away i just remembered egglets and anklet of the wind there we go all right all right it's night time let's go back to the dungeon and then we can finally kill a skill tron round three go [Music] oh oh my god almost died there oh my god where is it right let's open up this chest oh my god and we've got the shadow key and the cobalt shield you know what that means if we can get the dark lands in the shadow chest we're set we're actually set alright let's see how good we might not even need the shadow lines this water bolt is insane let's see if we can find any more shadow chats right here hellwing though does this pierce not sure let's see okay that was scary the voodoo doll almost fell into the lava eva now at least i know the hellwing bow doesn't or it does pierce so we have so many good weapons i love it now if we can find the dark lance that would be perfect okay shadowlands i saw it i saw it give it to me ah i'm burning dark lance okay never mind i don't know why i said shadow but we don't talk about that three two one go oh my god look at look at the health look it's health fire oh god it's already dead let's go back up a bit back up back back up oh my god i had eight hp eight hp oh ho ho yes let's go human heart firecracker okay we got the firecracker i don't know how good this one is got the sorcerer emblem perfect all right let's go test this out it might just hit only one time one monster show hello all
