Sentencing a 16 year old to 25 to life seems a bit crazy to me. He probably would better be kept in a mental facility. Otherwise they’ll release the most dangerous psychopath in 30 years or so. The European way u know

I was a witness in a court case which involved two 12 year old boys who were breaking into homes and stealing. They were actually placed in custody, so they were in the court house jail cell before the case started. They were in the back talking big and bad, basically said they know they can’t do anything to them because they were kids. First thing judge let them know when they came out was they heard every word. Judge did not take any pity on them.

On one hand he deserves it, but people get like 10 years for murdering adults who imo are worth more than 2 year olds (since they have friends, and people who care about them and like have already explained life etc) so I'm conflicted
