Tears of the Kingdom but Zelda will never be saved

hey there friends how's it going I wanted to take a look at the new Zelda I've been pretty damn hyped for this game it's going to be relatively spoiler free I'm just going to be in the starter area but just because I'm in the starter area doesn't mean there isn't time for Goofs gaffes and Chaos oh this is great news for my social life I just started and I'm already done look at my health oh and by the way I found Zelda so we're definitely done people have been falling ill they're coming into contact with the Gloom drifting through these Caverns oh we should go in okay so here we go into the black fog okay yeah we're really doing this imagine if we were down here investigating some dark mystery but it turned out this dust has just asbestos that would really suck it would really really suck to be a bodyguard for like a princess that has no caring of your well-being you're not hurt are you link not noticeably but my lungs princess my lungs okay I'm starting to think this might be worse than asbestos but I'm going deeper into the basement yeah princess what you got here is uh out of my expertise you're gonna have to bring in a professional ah the joys of being servant to a princess do we want to move ahead okay or not yet implying that it will be okay later so I may as well go now I really think we should just bring it up with Zelda that her basement is kind of weird yeah that's what you get we're being a hoarder Zelda you're lucky I'm still protected oh man no I'm not done the game anymore now I actually have to play it oh I gave it a little paper cut it'll be called as a draw ER I think how do you know what names that's what you're concerned about I was more concerned about the blood squirting powers to be honest with you okay I think my tattoo is infected that's that great I found a really cool sword that's awesome I'm totally not pissed that I had a really nice one and loads of Health Bears a second ago they can cut little Vine sticks so that's pretty awesome okay there's stuff turning but unfortunately I stayed up till midnight release so this is about what the inside of my brain looks like right now it's not operating on all cylinders oh my stamina is low too must have been all this best us I thought it was gonna loop around to those cogs again but I don't think I am I think I just genuinely missed out on probably some good loot for this point to the game but don't worry I got our cake leg where it's so in right now look at that everyone wants to look like that all of my friends want to look like they're in The Flintstones oh daylight here we go you see who needs outside I was thinking going outside today but no this is so much prettier well time to just click the jump prompt without looking down just to see what happens all right equal to my own my tree branch broke alright I'll take your tree branch then is this just a Rumba that's what the symbol looks like it looks like a mop you're a weird looking Rumba oh it sucked up the pure celain now I have a map find Princess Zelda I accidentally took I mean I took a capture so I wouldn't forget wooden stick I don't know seems a bit opay a tree branch with an added grip and excellent balance doesn't sound really fun oh sorry I didn't see you there I'm stealing this you may practice targeting on me if you want oh yeah sure I must protect myself I think I'm the bad guy really does like jumping from extreme Heights doesn't he when I was going saying that I am non-ironically nearly called link Zelda I wasn't lying when I said my brain wasn't functioning to enemy time the demon would immediately surrender rauru source of the right arm that's all the context I'm giving you why not visit the shrines on this island I don't know if that's a shrine man I think that's just a rock the shrines yes I'm sure they are the key okay that's convincing enough for me see you later I'm gonna have a lot of accidental pictures I'm not used to this controller at all unfortunately for link his little tablet is the exact same as the switch so if I'm playing as him I'd assume he's just as clumsy I'm sorry Zelda I wanna save you but I'm just a boomer I can't do it uh my first death was almost killing myself that would have been very fitting wait so magic rock is up there I'm over here is that a grind rail anyone have a skateboard or anything am I legit just supposed to run across this I'm definitely not but I feel like that's what I'm gonna try and do anyway oh god oh no oh this is really bad I didn't even make it off the island oh I broke my long stick this far considering my first attempt was so bad the second one's actually like pretty astonishing I don't want to get cocky but I think I've made it I'm going to the end just for bragging rights if grab and move objects rotate them and stick them to other objects if I had this IRL I would be such a menace you know I didn't really like that ghostly guy but I'm starting to relate to our naming abilities are about the same in fact Ultra hand is a name I was considering for my first child I just love the lack of creativity it's like hmm well it's my hand and it's sort of ultra so I guess I'll go with that oh okay that didn't feel like I deserved the serotonin noise I didn't really do anything wait so I can just attach this anyway oh my God that's awesome and also useless at the same time like not the ability just the combination that I've done oh my God I want to make this work I want my awful bridge to work it's perfect oh come on come on man you can do that I've seen you do the wildest come on this is one of those things that I'm just insisting on doing wrong because I'm stubborn okay here's one of those railings this is what I feel like I should have been doing on the way back I I don't feel like I should have just ran across it yeah definitely you can combine these things to make something right so for example we stick that on there and then I simply drop it like this yeah that's perfect okay here we go and now I hop on yeah okay that's pretty cool I still think the first way I did it was much cooler though and also I'm pretty sure I missed something up there but I've decided that I am okay with that a crystal that glows with a light that purges ancient evil why would you give that to me are you saying I mean should evil like the evil part I get but I'm not old ah if you visit and complete two more shrines you should be able to open the door to the Temple of Time okay well let's get started on my rock collection then there's my next one is that one yeah I think that's one okay so I can just attach these and then I can lift that and then just drop it there right perfect I thought I was gonna smash myself for a second and what's this other ability I have amiibo oh no thanks I don't want it should have left it in the shrine imagine you go to an ancient Shrine solve a puzzle risk your life and then it's like hey you can buy my merch if you want to so can I connect anything to anything I want to connect one of those robots to this thing and use them as a bridge okay this feature I like this is really neat now I have very very long stick drop that there like a glove yep that's fine how come I can go down that massive pole over there but I can't just walk over a log I'm just gonna take your stuff and uh peace out I I know you probably teaching me about archery but let's face it I I don't want to learn I'll just complain about not knowing how later it scared away the birds he was hunting as well I need to reach my friend hmm maybe you could be helped by me this is awful where's my friend oh okay I was implying that we could be friends but whatever all your friends over there I mean I could try I guess can I oh I can grab you float it's not that hard to make a boat there we go yeah look at that oh the top fell off wait no it's going by itself come back hold on I may as well just swam you're gonna make me look like an idiot and I was doing a good enough job of that myself come on grab it excellent well I guess I'll take out my frustration on the locals look at it over there it made it the entire Way by itself without a captain there we go I got another log and you know what I don't need a sale I got God on my side or whatever that disembodied voice was earlier okay maybe he's not like on my side like I wouldn't say he's against me but at the same time he's not gonna help me not to worry I have a perfect plan because I don't really need to build a boat I just need a little breather is all yep I sure am a genius I'm just playing a different game to everyone else I think yep and then we'll rotate that around I'll fall off that's all part of the plan imagine how much cooler this could have looked if I just made it onto that boat not to worry this is also equally cool and fast the thing is I'm sure there's another way across like I even picked up a leaf I could probably use as a fan but I've committed to this now and I'm going to see it through see yeah that this is fine I don't know I guess I'm just a genius oh yeah the temple I kind of forgot why I even came here I was too busy on my side quest ah you just got to do that every time aren't you okay now I have fuse attach something to an equipped weapon or Shield to enhance it you can undo the fusion but that will destroy whatever has been attached oh my God this is about to get wacky I made big tree branch now now I'm happy okay turns out my big tree branch isn't big enough to knock this down look at how it's welded together okay so can I fuse this okay there we go that's fused yeah Boulder stick okay so I've got an arrow and then select to attach and I want to attach fire thingy and then hit that boom I get treasure I sure hope it's tree branches oh it's a key out of here I'm taking this with me I want some souvenir out of this place oh nearly gave myself brain damage oh my God how am I supposed to get my rock up there there we go I will save my rock oh an enemy huh good thing I brought my rock oh no wait he also has a rock ow and a gun okay that seems unfair to bring a gun to a rock fight okay what a dramatic still The Rock about to collide with its face and me dead on the floor oh they made me start again the consequences to my actions don't bother making the noise I already got these serotonins okay you know what I should do I should actually learn to fight that would be a great idea because sometimes in these games I just end up cheesing my way through it like I was attempting to do and then I don't know how to play [Music] there we go I beat it fair and square but really badly so I I need to learn more about the combat Oh I thought it was celebrating me picking up another rock oh my god there was a long stick up here the entire time so could I take this long stick and then try and put some of these spikes on it oh wait should I use my thick stick that is a thick stick there we go oh my God that looks like a beast they're like this is a lot of hubbub for attaching a stick to a rock this is how the cavemen must have felt when they did it first you know now that I think about it they're kind of hyping up this whole thing when really they could have just given me some Flex tape to attach stuff it came because there's something I failed to give you you came out of fear didn't you or it's a bomb of some sort [Music] energy cell designed to be worn a belt that can power zoneite devices I definitely pronounce that wrong there's the final Temple and I must get through this Cave System the robot told me and I'm guessing this is in the future and we just do whatever the AI tells us to do I mean I'm just a human who likes picking up rocks I should listen to the robot right oh no what the hell is that thing is it glitching out or is it meant to jump on the roof I'm guessing it's meant to if it was a different developer then maybe I would think it was a glitch oh finally I can cover up a little bit come on let's get monetized me being chased around my bats and the ghost is just chilling help me man you gotta have some ghostly Powers the rafts were crossing to the other side of broken transportation is on hold indefinitely oh don't worry I'm sure I can figure something out I hit it with a stick and it worked I'm genius that's how I repair my television you know I steal oh wait I thought you were asleep we may have need of these parts there are more materials near the water and dammit okay sleeping again let me just take this I love how link just freezes in place like their Vision relies on movement oh no it's floating away it's the boat all over again uh bad news I can't get up on it okay all right this is terrible news I might drown again how is it but the only way I die is by killing myself and it keeps happening wait so I can turn this fan on this would be a great hair dryer but other than that I don't know what I'm supposed to do with it I could try and go up but I don't really see many places to go up well I just threw it overboard by accident okay where is another one because I need to try and mix okay there is one here I thought I threw the remaining one just off the cliff so I'm guessing can I attach it to like this this is gonna result in like some insane Creations online oh I broke it and now it's taking off yeah just shoot me across like that that's perfect okay I'm gonna try and make it a little bit bigger this time instead of just the lazy way of One log okay let's give this a go yeah that's good I think oh no why are we turning why are you uh we got stuck in the Rocks didn't we here we go it's a yeah oh wait it's it's a manufacturing flaw actually yeah this thing just goes in circles I guess it's not in the middle let me fix that now we're talking all right go a little fella yes here we go let's at least get me close enough to swim right yes that's a healthy little bump oh getting a little bit caught in the waterfall there it's a little bit worrying but I'm gonna stick with my in my plan a yes I did it and I feel like I kind of did it right this time okay I'm thinking will this work on this track if I drop that there no way is this gonna work is it oh I'm excited already okay here we go oh it's like Minecraft except Zelda no asbestos oh there's something in the way I thought this would bring me further honestly in the time it took me to put that together I probably could have just walked it but oh well I think it just smashed the master sword oh well it's good while it lasted I'm just following the trail of sticks honestly if anyone was watching me they'd know this is how you trap me okay man it's just stumbled through that cave without learning any game mechanics about how to see in the dark pretty epic oh now that's the life hacker you see in the deck you just use magic okay we attached that on there and then hit with stick yeah epic I don't think it's the Sony device at all you know I think it's my stick if you believe anything is possible okay now we're talking we're getting up to the level of the final Temple oh what's this you need to reach your friend well enough falling for that one again make the reward better next time I don't know if I'm supposed to be making new cards and new things but I keep just bringing the same character around and putting it down I gotta say I wasn't sold on this gimmick when I saw it in the the trailers and whatnot and the game oh my God I'm still not sold on it I hate it no but what I was going to say is I actually enjoy it it's a really cool mechanic are you fortified against the cold yeah I'm also no I should probably learn I don't have clothing so I guess I'll just cook okay let's hope this does something useful I've not really thought about it all that much no not what I wanted okay what about if I cook all three of these spicy things at the same time huh ah just like Mama used to make wait that's cold resistance is that what I need it is cold right yeah okay yeah just like kabama used to make okay yeah this isn't really shorts weather to be fair I'm glad I had the peppers the hell is that thing you know what I don't want to know I'm just gonna keep going I don't even want to fight that thing I can't climb the wall because it's icy I'm just wondering like is it a good idea or a stupid idea to try and attach logs and just walk up there the line between genius and stupid is growing ever so thin okay no I think this is just plain stupid actually okay maybe I can climb these big tree roots instead oh trees they give us so much big roots to climb on Big Sticks to hit things with weird boat monstrosities okay we're finally here I'll make the noise I love it when you make the noise oh thank you move upward through solid material and emerge on top of it that sounds amazing I wish you just gave it to me when I needed to climb up this mountain final Temple I hope this is all I have to do I just shoot up through the ground and like yep now you can get anyone go save the princess Ascend okay did I Oh I thought I just smashed my head against it and died that is a really strange power I'm so confused how let's go to work I love the clunk it does when you hit it oh my God I found the best feature in the game it brings up a menu so you can just swap out your items instead of having to back out and drop something wait so could I just jump down and then use it on this taller one this is such a strange power oh what's this can I just oh yeah I love stuff like this I don't know why it's just satisfying and then I can smash that and then use this and just go straight up through that oh that's interesting and then I get the treasure excellent and then can I use it on this bridge I knocked down as well like what limitations does this thing have oh my God it doesn't have any it's amazing oh it does have one limitation and that is me okay that was a very easy Shrine I just had to smack my head against The Rock a few times and honestly I feel like doing that a lot recently the door into the Temple of Time should now open for you I don't suppose you have a power that I could get down a mountain with do you no didn't think so thank you oh God I missed well bye bye it would be hilarious if he gave him his Ultra hand and all those powers and then he immediately just fell off a cliff [Music] oh thank goodness they found some pants by just warping up through the mountain will this help yes okay I'm not freezing anymore what the heck is this thing it looks like I'd be able to fly on it but is that a stupid idea I've had a lot of those today no no wait I I just figured it out but we're not supposed to go yet we're not supposed to go yet no no no no no we're going aren't we okay well let's hope I make it then oh oh I think I'm actually gonna make it oh I was expecting to just plunge down and die but this is great actually I didn't even think it would go this far but it's bringing me right where I need to go it is bringing me where I need to go right it's not going to bring me off there into the distance oh oh I can lean it oh that is so neat okay we need to like nose dive here yeah that's perfect ow I'm amazed I didn't kill myself again yes I made it to the Temple of Time it's about time oh forbidden steak oh it is forbidden though as soon as I touched it it started acting up another Power reverse an object's movement until it goes back to where it was you can stop the reverse movement at any time so if I recall correctly I could rewind these cogs and then I could jump on top of them and make it to the top right this looks really dodgy but it's kind of working okay that was very dodgy I feel like I just skipped a section there I got a statue Smiles upon you yeah that was worth with it that was worth coming up here for that this door stands as a test of your own Vitality you're not strong enough yet to open it what the hell after all I've been through but there's one more Shrine on this island there you can get another blessing okay well they finally gave me a really really useful power the ability to fast travel so I can go right there here we are the final Shrine the ability to rewind I don't know this one Yep this one is going pretty well now the question is can it go upwards oh God oh God can it go up again oh man that's wild and I want treasure so bring me up this way yeah I like this I like this a lot I don't even understand what the mechanic is here but go back oh they need to be in that position but I don't really understand can I just cheese this one too I don't want to learn well I'm getting up here I don't think that's gonna help me oh I almost she's true okay let's try and use one of the other powers I just couldn't resist I'm gonna fuse you together so I am there we go that was easy see what I mean about making things harder on myself earlier okay I'm back I've been just staring at that symbol for the Ascend thing and I just can't help but feel it looks like someone getting abducted by aliens and they're they're scared you know I like it it paints a picture okay I got your shrines Now give me your blessing to open the door imagine the door was just a pull this whole time and I was pushing on it [Music] for that one extra heart and how fast they were all taken off me earlier from the asbestos well the demon but that's what I'm nicknaming it as well okay let's see if we can push this door open this time you've got to be kidding me okay for real this time come on you can do this all right he's doing it this time I don't know why I failed last time oh that's a lot of sweat for opening the door maybe he's just anxious what might be behind it all right and this is my reward Shiny Gold thing [Music] wait he got the sword back somehow didn't I smash that on a box Grace you're arming the glowing mist is that really a good idea we don't know whose side the golden mist is on well it accomplished something it made it a hammer day nice and clear so that's something link you must find me yeah yeah I I know the drill I just immediately that's very on brand well looks like I'm
