Tarnished Isaac - THIRD LEVEL of Characters!?

what is up everybody my name is hudson welcome back to the binding of isaac repentance today we're going to jump into a mod that you guys have been asking for first jump into this red door this mod adds a whole new section of characters called tarnished characters believe there's only isaac and magdalen maggie so we're gonna jump in and play isaac we have to defeat delirium as the tainted character in order to unlock the tarnished one isaac has less options and more control and starts with the blighted dice really the blighted die isaac has the same eight item limit has tainted isaac however he holds the blighted diet in his q slot this allows him to reroll one of his items he currently holds into two items and he can pick one of the two upon use the blighted dice is turned into a broken die broken die will consume any pedestal item isaac touches except for the item spawned from blighted die and quest related items when not fully charged isaac can also use the broken die when not fully charged to re-roll one of his items at the price of adding a broken heart one fully charged the broken die automatically turns back into the blighted die there was a lot packed into that but uh i think we got it i think we got this oh all right so what's that wild card again so unlike tainted isaac we're not getting multiple we're not getting one uh item pedestal that's switching between multiple pedestals instead we have two pedestals here we get to pick one of these and then we can use our blighted die but do i have to like have that item selected i don't know tim what do you have to say great great addition q's not working so it does look like i have to have it selected which is a huge pain because i'm about to drop my card right now and then go to select it and then do the thing there we go these are both pretty okay i'm gonna go with compound fracture here so it's kind of like re-rolling except for you re-roll and you get two options right it also okay ow it sounded like i wasn't gonna have control over which one i was re-rolling but because i can go up here and press control and switch whatever switch to whatever item select whatever item i want it does seem like i do have control over that oh by the way we have a broken die now in the lower right it looks like a clam or something boss time haunts got the trinket that gives me two bomb drops every time i drop a bomb and i've got a golden bomb yay how did you dodge those bam help [Music] i cannot touch anything when i don't have a full charge on my blighted die lest it get heated take my soul heart top secret room eternal heart i guess we got something on this floor i suppose don't touch anything wait till you're flipping blighted dies charged up maybe even just uh don't even use it until the very very end right that would seem like the play here flight of die charge i don't have a key oh no you guys got keys can i have it no i can't even go into the shop and buy a key there's a key damage upgrade little dammy uppy half off soul heart gonna want that card too item room has got balls now if i want to get rid of aries of course the updates to aries they're they're good right i don't think they work on the blood donation machine if i'm walking as fast as i could possibly walk uh i negate damage but if i want to re-roll it i should definitely definitely wait until after the boss item otherwise it's gonna eat it again got him eight ball probably want to go angel room with this right i don't want to give up health i wonder if i reroll the eight ball in this room here if it would give me two boss items like is it room dependent because then i could have just walked into the deal with the devil and gotten a free deal with the devil item choice of two of them give up two more hits for one card maybe is it gonna be a good card ace of diamonds can't exactly use that right now can i turn this into money i guess what a waste let's reroll the eight ball go it did give me two boss items should have done this in a secret room i don't know where the secret room is these are both turds take the money i guess and then re-roll it as soon as i possibly can all right hate this we'll keep trying you can do it you can nope you hate there it is um oh thanks definitely not i don't really even want to touch this one i can't use my blighted dye i'm assuming to re-roll active what is this room what is this nonsense never seen this before in my life i don't even need to go in there oh great thanks now it's fully charged and it turned into the blighted die but it's empty so i have to charge it again is that what you're saying in order to reroll stuff really if i take this item does it reroll everything now or does it re-roll at the start of the next floor i don't know grab this for now use it open this shop this option seems super underwhelming but early should be okay we'll reap the benefits of it until we feel like we have enough consumables that we want and then i'll reroll it into something else super powerful that it re-rolls into the room's current pool double bomb hollow fight fire with fire oh oop oop got him and an angel room no way and this piece of crap wow my blighted dice is ready to go so what we're gonna do here is we're gonna walk into the angel room oh holy brim holy shot holy friend and holy that's bet no that's pretty okay i guess i'm gonna go holy brim on this one gives us flight plus holy brim flight's gonna be huge on this floor then we'll get rid of the money turn into two angel items fingers crossed yeah never mind then tears are still pretty good we're doing just fine you guys we're doing just fine it's okay do that i'm gonna do a little bit of this i got that same thing bud now you can see how it feels taste of your own medicine so it doesn't look like it pulls in the item pool of the room unless it's just specific angel room specifically angel room that it doesn't work on i don't know let's go ahead and use this newfound flight though get everything i've ever dreamed of and uh touch this to turn my broken die into a normal die again and forgo five charges on this thing i don't want to take this item anyways perfect stars card removes all this passive item ignoring starting items uh that'd be compound fracture i don't want to lose compound fracture but it does the same exact thing spawns two random items in the current room's item pool i want to see if maybe my curse room is open or sorry my my angel room is open and then if it's shut we'll go to our secret room get rid of compound fracture and see what else we can come up with still open no secret room is an excellent second choice and go spirit shackles basically like a holy mantle but a little weirder than that oh i get to keep both of them oh of course i could use my wild card to do it all over again and get rid of my damage upgrade for two more items am i gonna do that bam that's called the death certificate though epic fetus death certificate probably you know what it was i think maybe i took my boss item and i used my blighted dice my blighted die so it gave me two more boss items it wasn't because i was in the boss room anyways maybe i should take epic fetus and then i could eat that out what do i want with death certificate right now break the egg let's finish up this floor first i don't remember if it takes you to the next floor or if you come back to the same one i think you come back to the same one but just in case we don't let's do everything look up shots be done fine with that oh good good good good do it homie magic mush though why wouldn't i just take sacred heart anyways it's got also got homing plus the damage multiplier there's a golden penny back up there yeah like i'm gonna go get that thanks these are new items can't see because of the isaac thing but something coat health up 50 percent of contact damage you get will be blocked 56 wow randomly changes your health into different hearts charge into the enemy enemy hitting an obstacle after being charged will take extra damage enemy dive from hitting an obstacle will drop temporary hearts holding spacebar will allow you to hold on to an enemy holding fire key will start spinning it holding on to an enemy will deal double of your damage to it per second killing an enemy by holding it will drop some temp hearts i think how strong the d6 would be right now if i could continually re-roll stuff he's super good feels so dirty walking past all this good stuff there it is sacred heart am i gonna take epic fetus for now yes we'll reroll later unlimited bombs could be cool i do suppose i could charge up my blighty die psychic went into my key thanks these are things that i definitely remember and definitely make a lot of sense no i forgot next floor six room get real all right let's get rid of epic fetus go there's my sacred orb i'm gonna go with it of course it takes one of my eight positions right but hopefully we'll be able to fill the other six because no way sacred hearts leaving i would really really really like to find birthright for me so i can have more items i think birthright does that for this character actually i think it already it said what it did birthright gives me a higher chance of finding better items when i re-roll which is basically sacred orb runebag hmm library but with lamen that's gonna be a way that we can get uh more items without having to get more items small chance that it pulls from the current pool so let's go into our secret room see what's up give me some sausage bloody gust damn power shot speed down that actually goes well with homing slower the better bombino sorry about this mate another angel room placenta is pretty okay we just really don't need it right now angel room what you got active contrition tears up allows devil rooms to be taken after i've taken an angel room i'm sure give up aries for that that sounds fair and then use my blighted die on something maybe there's options go chaos i don't really want a whole slot for chaos to be honest but maybe but maybe it randomizes where uh my item pool will come from where my items when i use my my bloody die maybe we'll get a bunch of crazy stuff i guess we could take this to charge up our or die and then use this to get some tough love hey that's nice drop some bombs there fight this sucker those teeth are doing massive damage pretty good pretty good stuff here next floor what a run hop into my curse room quick see what we get with this rocket in a jar keepers can in our item room pretty good but not one of my eight i don't want to give up one of my eight for this try spirit shackled blighted dice to see what happens with chaos go sci-fly hard to tell if that was chaosed or not but i'm definitely taking scifly what a flip and run man and let's charge my id with that we use blighted dye here in the secret room you know what we could totally just use it on a sacred orb we don't really need it anymore we have amazing items let's get rid of it give me mom's knife look uh yeah i mean guys well come on come on now with this build what hearts that's boring i you know i just i don't really you know i'm gonna basically just cremate every single thing in the game already does mom's knife really change anything right now not to mention we could get rid of it at any point in time 20 chance to spawn batteries after clearing rooms that sounds pretty good since we have a 12 room recharge blighted die and a six room recharge book all right gish what do you got oops you had nothing little gish pass there's my battery problem with not charging normally is that we actually have to get a battery for our pocket active if ever i use my la megetal again with a battery before i can even start to charge my blighted day [Music] thanks rocket in the jar i want that but like no so underwhelmed with every other item that i can find not even sure why i'm looking anymore here's what i'll probably end up doing i'll stop using my blighty die altogether and i'll solely use my battery charges just on my lamejitong to get more passives i'm just gonna start ripping them i'm just gonna go best bud swarm protector adrenaline seven seals and mom's contact freezy mom fight we got not a whole lot just the mega satan go xl speed run bob's brain oh man steam sale nice on the womb cursed eye oh boy just gets better magic skin there it is oh you got me angel room what are you gonna offer me that's what i thought you don't even have anything you know let's go with an even six and six up we go i keep bombing myself with the rocket bombs man you know what chat you know what fine let's get rid of mom's knife let's see what happens see what kind of nonsense i can pull out of my butt go that's a holy mantle another library what the okay thank you chaos get rid of my holy mantle this is ridiculous 17 damage right now split shot parasite yo lost soul buddy odd mushroom 41 damage we just jumped up to actually it was only 41 damage because of our lusty blood that we have in our fires a goat head nice bombo moon question mark doesn't that take me to my ultra yeah it does it's so good isaac fights what do you got scifly it's just so good test a little lost buddy gave me soul art or eternal hearts rather boo oh speed plus damage growth hormone fire nice let's crown i get this kind of payout see what glitch crown would offer me bicycle baby maybe no blue baby fight what do you got nothing no hits basically just going to steamroll this look at that shred this guy oh that was hot [Music] just ripping just ripping through this right now i'm touching my fires i need those second face and go i'm not even sure it's worth it to go ahead and charge up my my holy brim every time maybe i just want to cursed eye shots like this so they charge up so quickly are we done we done yet because the split shot too you got to think about with the homing it splits and then they all just come right back in baby die machine has appeared in the basement delirium let's go this little buddy gave me this uh deflection shot instead of chaos at this point in time got it first boss found delirium good let's get out of the way he's probably gonna strip out all my fires away from me as he teleports around but he's already a third of the way done though dude you're getting rocked dude the power almost there oh my goodness what a run everybody story cube has appeared in the basement some new items that we're unlocking so there's more to this mod thank you so much for watching i
