SWAT Operator vs US Marine Fitness BATTLE

today we're here with ken he's a swat operator  from south florida and matt he's a us marine at   camp pendleton these guys are going to be going  head to head on three different fitness events   number one the battle bunker obstacle course  number two an all-out sprint and number three   a 50-pound uphill sandbag carry just short of a  half mile let's see which one of these guys come   out on top hey hey easy easy we'll settle this on  the course okay we'll settle this on course hey   guys what's going on my name is matt mcdonough i'm  a us marine i'm a 3531 motor transport operator   i've been in the marine corps for four years now  and i'm here to show this swat operator what's up   what's up guys my name is ken i'm an air force  veteran and a current swat operator out of south   florida today i'm going to feed this marine  some crayons how do you feel about it how   do i feel about what how do you feel about the  competition oh ken's going to win how long has   ken been training for this ken has not trained  for this ever but ken doesn't like to lose so   go now i haven't even done the intro obstacle  course event one point sprint one point but the   end the sandbag carry is two points okay so you  guys could win potentially up to the sandbag carry   carry two points and then the sandbag carries  the finisher so we could have a tie first   up event number one the winner of this event  gets to go home with ken's girlfriend brittany   that's not a thing that wasn't in the waiver   then i'm eating the rest of your in and out  fries just kidding so winner of this event   will gain one point matt are you ready yeah this  should be at least eight points are you ready   yeah but my command and go you guys are gonna  proceed three two one go over the bunny hop   this is very competitive very competitive kent  makes it up first matt follows up right behind him   here we go to the cargo net oh no ken's got  this that's over opposite sides gentlemen   good job climb it's going to be interesting  can slight lead all right ken come on all right all right let's go ken comes off with the net first matt right behind  him matt this is a very very close one very close   matt just a few seconds behind can easily catch up  ken trips a little matt just behind him currently   at 51 seconds he's gentlemen right here are  cruising ken makes it across the rope swing matt   makes it across the rope swing felon obstacle  20 burpees focus on these tires do not fall   do not fall let's go there we go matt right behind  ken i feel like he can do this faster ken's on to   the horizontal rope climb good job matt come on  you gotta you could easily come back right here   ken approaches it first ken is scooting come on  matt good job gentlemen one minute 29 seconds   this is crazy come on matt you got it ken goes  for the barber i crawl let's go come on matt   almost there gotta break the time ken time 147  come on matt you still have a chance to score   come on you got it this is gonna be  a quick finish ladies and gentlemen   very very quick time matt gets snagged a  little on the exit both gentlemen did that   very very fast beating my score by about  30 seconds ken congratulations one minute   47 seconds is that the record time it was  not we have a 133 i believe or 134. matt   one minute 57 seconds that was quicker than  last time i think i haven't run this good job   they beat me for sure hey i gotta take her home  yeah let's keep it pg we'll have to blur that   kiss out this is a family channel yeah good job  gentlemen rest up a little bit and it's time   for event number two that was good really good  number two an all out sprint three two one no   they're off oh wow they're actually pretty even  so far oh my god matt's winning all right now i   might put some memo oh goodness gracious what is  happening right now matt's coming out in the lead   matt does it matt congratulations i'm shocked ken  you you always win what happened oh ladies a lot   of instructions i thought i was going to fall matt  came out on top yeah you dusted me yeah that was   a good race that was the longest sound that was  long i had to cross over the left side all right   ken and matt event number three your job is to  carry the sandbags you'll be racing each other   from here all the way up to that water tower right  there it's going to be good it's about half a mile   so take it a step at a time pace yourself breathe  just be the other person this is your final point   it's a tie breaker between you guys so whoever  wins this is going to win the entire competition   how do you feel about it about it four  miles i don't get paid enough for this   you're getting paid uh yo all right i'm gonna go  the top of the hill over there when i honk my horn   you guys go way too far we're not going to hear  that yeah you will dude that's like six miles well   if the sound is a little echoed or delayed you  guys will hear at the same time just call wait   are you gonna sit down here is she standing here  no you're staying down here you're doing it with   him no i'm not we're up here at the top of this  hill i just tracked it with my truck it's about   point three nine of a mile so a little bit  shorter than half a mile still a very very long   distance they are way way down there i'm here with  brittany she's gonna be cheering on ken or matt i   mean i don't know who she's cheering yeah at this  point it's whoever wins so i'm gonna honk my horn   three times on the third honk these are these  guys are going to begin let's do it you ready   yeah are they ready i guess i don't know maybe  i'll ever be yeah not as ready as i was 10 minutes   ago but probably more ready than i'll be in  five minutes getting a lot colder right now all right see brittany do they go he's  just been honking we just can't hear it   no they're standing there with the bags in hand go they're not moving they look confused  i'll be honest it's not that loud they are oh yeah they're going okay they're good  here they go it's starting off quick uh it looks   like ken's in the lead by a little though but  ken's trying to face himself so it looks like   ken's gonna lead by a little bit he's making a  good time i can see he's trying to pace himself   he's running yeah matt's rabbits i don't know  oh this is gonna be good well yeah i'm sure   matt doesn't want to lose i'd be right beside ken  too miserable holding my back ken's got probably   about what a five foot lead yeah it's very small  though i mean that could be made up in any second   i feel like the real test is gonna be like right  here barack's in it with the camera is straight up   running behind it this footage is  going to be terrible so we apologize   it's okay though kenz yeah ken took the  lead yeah ken took a pretty good lead   but this hill right here is super steep here we go  nice switched good come on matt let's go oh matt   ken's still running i don't think ken realizes  that matt stopped ken's just kind of now he's just   matt has kind of stopped i feel like  i'm on amazon you were on an amazing   race that's what it feels like again my  legs can't do it bro he's gaining on you turn around and look matt's trying to on top of the head approach come  on matt that is rough i can't do that kenneth's   finishing up come on matt come here here we  go wait seven seconds stop with this hill   doing good looking good smelling good there we  go this is the killer right here finish strong   ken does it victorious congratulations that  was rough good job did it feel like 50 pounds   when you uh when you put it down  it felt heavy feel it felt heavier   good job come on matt that was pretty brutal you  got it i thought it was right on me the whole way   i know did you hear me yell he's gaining on you he  was he was holding he was holding up a little bit   come on matt you got it this is the finisher  come on champ almost there you got it buddy   right here matt complete oh shh well there  goes the drone how you feel ah that was   impressive both of you guys ken came out  on top matt finished as well good job okay   this is what we call battle hill here  at the battle bunker good job impress   both you guys ken's not even breathing he's not  even consuming oxygen that was the hardest break   off i've ever had the hardest what the hardest  break off i've ever had breakfall military career   really i'm broken off right now like i'm dead look  at how far we came down this hill all the way down   we we clocked it at point three nine i  think all right guys there you go two point   you done i'm done now all right guys there you  have it two points for ken one point for matt   both of you guys did an incredible job thanks for  coming out here
