Super Cleaning The NASTIEST Smoker's Car I've Ever Seen! | INSANE Transformation of a Honda Accord!

hey what's going on guys and welcome to the video today's vehicle is a 2002 honda accord that is absolutely filthy on the inside and in desperate need of some serious deep cleaning so let's take a look around all right so besides the fact that it sat out overnight and is covered in frost everywhere it's clear there's quite a bit of salt buildup on the paint the wheels and tires are pretty grungy looking and it's a little hard to tell but i'm pretty sure there's a fair bit of clear coat failure on the car as the frost patterns just don't look quite right in some spots but moving inside now and i was completely blown away by the state of this interior besides the mountain of garbage and other personal items in here the center console is one of the closest that i've seen and full of cigarette ash the rear cup holder is filled with some sort of sticky goo the rear carpets are almost black from dirt and underneath the seats and it's packed full of garbage but just before we dive into things here take a second and make sure you're subscribed to the channel i post a new video like this every week so if you've got the bell on you won't ever miss out on one okay so despite this car not being in the best of shape we're still gonna get it looking as good as it possibly can so sit back relax and enjoy the transformation all right so just before i get started here i'm going ahead and running my ozone machine to knock down some of the smoke smell in here and then while i work on the exterior for a few hours the ozone will have time to dissipate and starting on the pre-wash rinse here and like i mentioned in the opening i suspected the paint on this car wasn't in great shape but i couldn't tell because of the frost but with that melted now i'm starting to see tons of clear coat failure all over the car and some rust around the wheel wells too so knowing that and i'll make sure to be extra careful around those areas later on when i wash and dry the vehicle and i also wanted to mention that once again i was able to record the customer's reaction when he picked up the vehicle and he was absolutely thrilled with the transformation this car made so make sure you stick around until the end to catch that [Music] [Music] so you probably can't quite see but the entire roof of the car had no clear coat left on it and it was just down to the base layer of paint so obviously this car is in pretty rough shape but that doesn't mean that my approach to detailing this card will be any different than any other vehicle i'm still going to go through my same processes and do everything that i can to get the car looking as perfect as i possibly can [Music] do [Music] moving to the door jambs and as i've said before the pressure washer is the easiest way to get them clean there is no need to be scared to do this on your own vehicle as if you spray at a steep angle and control the wand you can easily do this in a matter of a minute without a single drop going inside the car [Music] uh [Music] now getting the car covered in some nice thick foam i'll go around with my detail geek boar's hair detail brush to get down into all the crevices around the washer i'll spray on some apc and hit it with my medium green drill brush and then just blast them clean with the pressure washer [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] all right so moving inside now and before i can even do anything in here i need to remove all the garbage and personal items including an entire floor lamp and this little collection of stuffed animals so i definitely say this car had the most unique collection of personal items of any vehicle that i've detailed so far [Music] now with all the seats and the entire center console removed you can see there's still a pile of garbage that needs to be dealt with so i'll quickly get that all picked up before i start on vacuuming and if you're curious because i see comments about it all the time any loose change that i find is always returned to the customer because even keeping one penny of it would be theft even if the customer didn't have a clue it was there and you may also notice that i'm not wearing a mask today and that's really simply because the car surprisingly didn't smell all that bad and then after the ozone treatment earlier there really wasn't any lingering smoke smell at all [Music] [Music] working my way around with the vacuum and you guys can see these carpets are in really rough shape as the car has obviously gone without rear floor mats for a long time so seeing how bad they are and i'm not expecting to be able to get them looking brand new again after 18 years of dirt has been sitting in them but i'll still do everything that i can to get them looking as presentable as possible [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] all right starting on extracting the seats now and despite them not looking super dirty i think it's pretty likely that there's dirt hiding in there given how gross the rest of the car was and making the first few passes with the bissell now and it's clear they are in fact dirty as that water is coming through pretty brown [Music] so [Music] so [Music] fantasy starting on the back seat now and having it out of the vehicle is going to make it a lot easier to get at the back edge and down in the seams where it looked like there was some kind of sauce spilled in a few spots and some of you might have noticed that i always start extracting on the seats since they'll need the most amount of time to dry and i know i've seen some people ask recently if the bissell is able to get them completely dry and the answer is no any extractor you use will still leave them slightly damp so it's important to start on the seats because it would leave a really bad impression on the customer if they end up with wet pants on the drive home [Music] [Music] [Music] uh [Music] oh [Music] um [Music] first [Music] so [Music] um [Music] moving inside to the carpets now and after getting some carpet solutions sprayed on you'll notice i've switched over to my medium green drill brush and that's simply because it's clear the dirt and stains in these carpets have been here for a very long time and are going to need that extra agitating ability the green brushes can [Music] offer [Music] um [Music] so wanting to make sure i get this section as clean as possible i'm going ahead and repeating the entire process and knowing how dirty this carpet was i knew i needed to use a little bit more solution than normal to get it clean which makes it that much more important to keep extracting until the carpet is as dry as possible even if it already looks visually clean [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] moving to the other rear section here where the carpet is dark brown from all the dirt and i wanted to remind those of you who enjoy the extracting part of these videos that i posted volume 4 of my extraction satisfaction series over on look [Music] hey [Music] here's the bucket full of dirty and smelly water pulled from the accord gross [Music] [Music] now for this rear cup holder here which is quite frankly absolutely disgusting i'll obviously start by getting all the stuck-on garbage removed and this sort of thing is exactly why i always wear gloves when detailing because you really never know what you're going to run into but anyways after getting the garbage pulled out i'll use the steamer to basically blast the cup holder clean and then we'll simply wipe it down with a microfiber towel [Music] [Music] [Music] moving on to the center console pieces now and once again i'll start by removing all the stuck on garbage and then start blasting it with steam because that's really the best way to go about cleaning my favorite product and that's 303's aerospace protectant to uv protect and dress the interior and when it dries it will leave everything looking incredible lasting for about four to six weeks [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] okay so with what's left of the paint protected with a sealant i'll start on cleaning all the super dirty glass and as you may know i always spray my glass cleaner directly on my waffle weave towel so i don't have to worry about overspray landing anywhere on the vehicle and since this is a smoker's car there's quite a bit of grime built up on the inside portion of all the glass so the best way to deal with that is to just go over it a couple of times and if you're using a waffle weave towel you'll never have to worry about any streaks [Music] so
