and we thank god that once again he's allowing us the opportunity to come back and worship him notice what i said and worship him amen we invite you into the sanctuary of the greater rising star missionary baptist church 55-13 como drive in the heart of late come on texas ah this is the day that the lord had made and i tell you we're gonna rejoice [Music] [Applause] oh this is i will rejoice glad there is i don't know why we're gonna be sad yeah yeah because it's by the grace of god that we're still alive this morning now we ourselves by his blessing amen our responsibility is found in psalms 122 this morning thank god for bible's journey [Music] i am so privileged to be a part of this service today because on last honor the devil tried to take you out here i stand today saying the devil is alive hey man some of you almost been knocked down last week but you're here today amen isn't god good listen what the writer said i was glad when they said unto me let us go into the house of the lord jerusalem is built as a city that is compact together for there i set a stone of judgment the strong of the house of david pray for the peace of jerusalem peace be within our walls and six may have a blessing to hear to do it [Music] let us pray dear lord our heavenly father father of our lord and savior jesus christ lord we come to you today's hope we came to the father lifting up your name give you all the honor glory and praise father we thank you once again for waking us up alive let's see another day lord father we thank you for our life and our health father we thank you mostly for your son jesus christ who came to be our savior lord thank you lord for for protecting us and guiding us the father thank you to the father for allowing us to come once again to your house lord lift up your name in glory and praise father for without you nothing on this earth ever be done father we thank you for our life now how far we actually pray the father to continue to bless our church bless our pastor father father bless you bless and strengthen our pastor lord so let me continue to be a shepherd delete this you believe this beautiful flock father father we ask to pray that you bless the sick those that are ill those are the pains those are then dismayed father we ask that you bless their father lift them up with stresses on lord father as you should bless this world bless this country bless the state bless this county bless the city bless this community bless the church father and keep us all safe in your bosom lord keep us protected from this corona violence father father we ask that you continue to bless our leaders father bless them so they may use the right and proper judgment father to keep us all safe father we ask and pray that you bless those that are sick those that believe the father bless those families go on to believe man father asks that you bless those sick the sick the lord father night as we go through this day today as we praise you church for her family sister doris washington and toy would like the prayers uh brother melvin nelson let's keep all of our sick and and prayer we're asking for parents for the family of mother ali baker and the loss of her son in california those are all your announcements uh i think thought for today the will of god will never take you where the grace of god will not protect you thank you let us say amen amen we still yet praying for our bereaved families and if death has not come through your family lately you ought to be thanking god for we're yet praying for mother baker not only will her son be female eyes on the second but the granddaughter as well his daughter also on the second in california so we're praying for the baker family and we're praying for the walton family i received a call this morning that the young man otis uh passed away this morning and so we are praying oh dale i'm sorry odell passed away this morning and he had been sick and so many are leaving here that uh when you turn on the tv they don't mind posting how many folk that have passed away and everybody is not dying from covert amen we we had a friend a young lady that worked with us back in the day at johnson and johnson uh they said she played 18 holes of golf she went home and ate a good dinner she laid down and went to sleep and she woke up on the other side it behooves us to make sure that we have our houses in order let's say amen and you know one thing it doesn't care about how cute you think you are how much money you have what you drive one day you have to leave all that stuff back here amen uh but we're praying that god will take care of these families that are going through amen also i'm i'm praying uh reverend rosenthal is being installed in carolina today at a church let's say amen sister jackson and sister crockett them they lost their cousin yesterday in dallas and they like for our prayers uh reverend rosenthal called early this morning and he said we should have received an invitation but we hadn't received no invitation and can't get to carolina at two o'clock i don't have a jet a man nor a helicopter and i don't think i trust either one right now amen so he said to tell the church that he he loves us and uh for us to continue to pray for he and his wife amen amen and he certainly was faithful when he was here uh working here at the church amen amen that we just want to continue to lift up each and every one of you amen my sinuses have been kicking in and i know i'm not the only one they started last sunday they started draining while i was up here in the pulpit and uh if i take benadryl i'm gonna go to sleep amen so i i didn't take no benadryl this morning and i'll go as far as i can with the sermon if one of these preachers have to pick it up at the middle of it you'll know why let's say amen certainly i thank god that he allowed me another opportunity to win one of our daughters of our church last night sister aisha wilson a man waited last night at the mediterranean villa amen and uh i was just so elated just to be able to be there and and you know when you see all those that have grown up in the church amen and and they come up to you and they say pastor you still look the same i say i guess i do since y'all say i look the same i haven't grown no hair but i guess i still look the same but they they reminisce they say who we will never forget rising star and these are for some that are out of california let's say amen and uh it was just a blessing to be there and and to witness that event of seeing young people that grow up in the church amen uh getting married and i i tell everybody that i'd rather do a wedding any day than a funeral but that goes with life amen and they really celebrate it amen they had a grand celebration and after the wife and i just got our plate and ate we tipped out because sometimes people don't like to get really down because the pastor there but you pay for what you you get and i realize i'm not at the church that's your money you paid for amen and so you i just expect for you to go on and do your thing amen and my reception sister brooks and i we we did our thing amen i'm not gonna come back and preach a sermon about you up on the floor dancing amen cause my foot was moving down under the table as some of you be honest with yourself you hear some songs it start moving you amen amen and if it ain't moving you i'm i'm sorry but but i i still know some of that back in the day stuff amen i just didn't get up and take my my uh handkerchief and started you know waving it like that then they invited everybody out on the dance floor i know they were waiting on me i'm talking about them cell phones deacon wins and then they said we want pastor brooks to come up and we want him to bless the food now some of them had gotten ready they had them phones ready they thought i would go get out there and shake a leg like i did on the fourth of july and then all of the world would have saw pastor out there on the floor but i was just blessing the food amen amen i share that with you because you know we know each other and i was in the room with the groomsmen with the groom and the groomsmen and one of the members walked in when i said they said it's a drink over there he came in he said oh pastor you say a drink i say water over there if you're listening to me jeremy yeah i'll put you under the bus hey man i said you just can't wait to get that on you so so pastor pastor enjoy when you invite me to whatever facilities you have is at your house i'm not coming back and i'm not going to down you because you were having yourself a good time somebody say man we can be so critical sometimes uh there's nothing wrong with dominoes nothing wrong with cards hey man it's when you start putting money on the table amen but dominoes help you keep your brain going amen and my wife says she's a good domino player but sometimes we play at home i beat her some of y'all ought to try all right all right this is the last sunday of september and for some reason god kept us here [Music] i said for some reason god kept us he kept us here and if you're excited about still being here i'm gonna give you at least 60 seconds to get some praise on you can tell the lord lord i just thank you cause he kept me look at your neighbor i'm glad i'm here look at your sick lives we know god that you still yet are healed [Music] you pray for those who are in bereavement knowing that god you're still in control we thank you for our journey thus far [Music] we praise you for how you kept us and allowed us to see another blessed lord's day so right now in the name of jesus everything that we're going through somebody already been through it [Music] healed the cancer patients heal the diabetics heal those that are hooked up on ventilators heal those that are struggling with the copay in the mighty name of jesus by your stripes you said we were healed from the crown of our head down to the soul of our feet it's in your hands touch us all one by one touch us all one by one and god will forever give you praise we'll forever give you the glory and the honor in the mighty name of jesus the people of the lord said thank god amen and amen [Music] come read your scripture [Music] he blessed our hearts on wednesday night [Music] dressed like a little young man [Music] and he read with authority [Music] [Applause] and read with some power [Music] the bowser says train up a child [Music] see if that bible has it [Music] in the beginning god created the heaven and the earth and the earth was without form in a void and darkness was upon the face of the deep and the spirit of god moved upon the faith of the waters and the god said let there be light and god saw the light that it was good and god divided the light from the darkness and god called the light day in the darkness he called night in the evening and the morning for the first day [Music] let's say amen why don't you give us a prayer give us a prayer dear lord thank you for staying i thank you that you allowed us to make it to your church to your house on time i pray i pray that everyone will have a good day today i pray for those that are the seekless in jesus name i pray amen [Music] praise the lord some people might wonder what will happen to the church when i leave the church is still going to go on [Music] somebody say amen amen thank you for the prayer and thank you for the reading of god's word when we see all of our young people growing up parents don't worry you put something in them one day you'll see them coming down that dusty road they'll be coming back to the house of god but you got to put it in while they're young somebody say why they're young because you know when we start growing up we get the big head i'm 18 now i can do what i want to do now i never did leave the church i've been in the church all my life so i know i know that god can keep you but there's some that love to just get out an adventure but if you give them time they eventually come on back down that dirt road somebody ought to say amen you ought to claim yours back right now say i claim it in the name of jesus amen you have to speak those things that will be that can be amen thank god for all of you who woke up this morning just to come to the house of prayer on the 26th day of september time is moving forward i said time is moving forward god is trying to tell us all something and he may be trying to talk to you right now in second kings the 20th chapter amen in the first verse thank god for those who standing and i must applaud those who came for prayer on wednesday at 12 noon there were seven of us that were at the altar seven is a number of completion so god's work was completed somebody ought to say amen and then we thank god for wednesday night for those who came out i as we pray to our father and our god and he is still in the listening business in the book of second kings the 20th chapter it says in the first verse in those days was hezekiah sickened to death and the prophet isaiah the son of amos came to him and said unto him thus saith the lord set thy house in order for thy shall die and not live verse two [Music] then he turned his face to the wall prayed unto the lord saying verse 3 i beseech thee oh lord remember now how i have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart and have done that which is good in thy sight and hezekiah well sore and it came to pass verse 4 about isaiah was gone out into the middle court that the word of the lord came to him saying verse 5 turn again and tell hezekiah the captain of my people thus saith the lord the god of a david and father i have heard thy prayer i have seen thy tears behold i will heal thee somebody say i will heal thee on the third day thy shall go up into the house of the lord amen you may be seated i want to talk about getting your house in order getting your house in order look at your neighbor and say neighbor i don't know about your house but i'm gonna get my house in order you pray for me and i pray for you if you pray and pray right i'll preach and sit down but i believe after i get through with the sermon rob nolan i'm a dude holding on yeah i'm gonna try that it's still in my spirit happy to see reverend and sister williams here today and what i say in front of your faces i say behind your face i can see in front of your face i say if i was revving in sister williams them i'd be supporting my son too y'all ought to give him a hand if you can't support your own child who you think gonna support let's say amen happiness to see reverend and sister peppers amen brother nolan and dr brooks we happy to have them happy to see sister brooks this morning and all the deacons and all the visitors getting your house in order did any of you know that it's getting late in the evening and the sun is going down many of us are facing so many crises in our lives there are people stressing out every day and every morning i wake up i say lord thank you because i'm not on a breathing machine i still have my mind mother married it i know who i am i know who i belong to i know where i started from i know where i'm headed i just don't know what's gonna happen in between uh how i'm gonna get to the end to see my father's face somebody catch that on the way home because in this life we have our ups and we have our downs if every day was sunshine we wouldn't know how to uh expect the rain do i have a witness but i'm here to let you know that it's time for us to do an observation in our own lives to make sure that we have a relationship with our god it's not about just coming to church some people it just in your blood to get up on a sunday and come to church but it's about your salvation do you really know that you know that you know that you'll save that if the lord came right now and and the trumpet sound and and the dad would get up and and here we are in the church and you look around and you still sitting here did you get your house in order you see it's dangerous to walk around and play with god do i have a witness did you not know god sees everything he hears everything and he see what you do day by day how is it that that that many of us can shout and sing together but we can't love one another some wrong with with that picture ah we have a thing that you know anybody that comes to our house our family that comes at five o'clock sister brooks asks you out amen after church they come and and they sit down they eat amen and she'll look at the clock and she'll remind them you have about ten more minutes and and when five o'clock hits she say well it's time for you all to go and the reason why sister teal she said it's time for you to go it's because she has to get the house back in order somebody gonna catch that on the way you see when when our children come they they want to lay on the pillars amen they want to get out of all the blankets because they say they're cold and the dishes are all in the sink hello somebody then ate up all the good food and and and and i just wait until it get close to the time when sister brooke says time for you to go but the reason behind that she says now i got to get up the next morning and go to work and i have a certain standard the way i want my house left when i leave now some of you some of you if i came and made a visit to your house i wouldn't get no further than the living room maybe the porch because the house is not in order to have a witness that's why people say call me before you come because they want to make an impression on you see the lines in the carpet somebody gonna catch that on the way see how everything is sitting so nice when you walk in but all when you get ready to leave you walked on the carpet you messed the pillars up and and and most of women want their house back in order and she don't mind saying now honey will you raise your legs up so i can vacuum up under you somebody catch that see i'm in my recliner i'm trying to relax but she's trying to get her house in order the reason why we come to church sunday after sunday is because we trying to get our house in order somewhere between last sunday and this sunday there was some flaws in the house i'm not talking about in your physical house i'm talking about your spiritual house because you gave a lending hell to gossip don't y'all get quiet instead of praying you were gossiping hello somebody instead of you trying to help lift somebody up you were trying to time down my bible tells me we all have sin sister adams we all have sinned and come short of the glory of god by god it is hyphen in power aren't we glad he's powerful aren't we glad he looks beyond our faults everybody in here has a fault [Music] you just won't say nothing about it right now but we all have some faults we haven't did everything the lord told us to do love ye one another as i have love you you can't love who you want to love you must learn to love everybody and just come in the church don't exempt you every day i'm trying to get my house in order when i get my hearing straight i try to get my eyesight my vision right they have a witness because we all ought to want to see some good in everybody do i have a witness somebody probably sitting there right now trying to figure out what pastor doing with that purple boat hello i put it on because it was given to me would it match anything or not i put it on cause it was given to me and i know it's gonna die but sooner or later i'm gonna enjoy it because it was given to me somebody said given to me you see just because we are believers don't exempt us from sicknesses all of us have a date with some type of illness if i took a survey today i'm how many of us on blood pressure medicine i just raised my hand because i want it how many of us taking stuff to help us sleep sign us you take one thing and somebody said go get zurich you go get that and this still ain't working you gotta take something else you woke up this morning you had a back pain you don't know where that pain come from because you've been suffering with your knees and then you say oh lord then when the knees stop something start wrong with your feet then when you get your feet in order something wrong with your hand then we all say well we all got signers allergies are kicking in i don't know about anybody else but i've been saying lord could you just send down a little rain because i found out brother william william if the rain come it's gonna wash it all out i'm trying to keep my heart right i'm trying to get keep my vision right i'm trying to keep my hearing right because i don't want anything to separate me from the love of god do i have a witness the bible says hezekiah the son of ahaz king of judah he began to reign in the third year of his reigning and it says he was 25 years old when he began his reign he was a young man he loved the lord anybody in here love the law his mother's name was ally the daughter of zechariah and the bible says that he was trying to do what was right in the sight of the lord we've been in this cove for going on almost two years now how many of us have straightened up our lifestyles people dying down the street up the street behind us in front of us people that we know and it hasn't registered in your mind yet that you need to start trying to get your house in order because your name is gradually going up on the ladder do i have any witnesses out there and and i said you think it's jokingly but i'm just as serious as heart attack if you are so saved and you ready to go you can have my spot if i'm next i i'm not i'm not i'm not in a hurry to get to him i'm going but i'm not in a hurry do i have a witness ah the lord knows all about us he looks at us and he he looks on us and and and here the bible said that uh hezekiah trusted in the lord how many of us are still trusting in the lord even though we have to master that shouldn't hinder your praise i have a witness even though i got a mask on i still can shout hallelujah i still ought to be able to clap my hands i still ought to be able to shout some joy and let people know that i'm on the lord's side is there anybody else in here on the lord's side that's a good side to be on in this day and time lord i got to get my house in order i see that there's a lot of trouble in the land i see god that people are just going haywires seem like our government is going crazy seem like those in high positions don't know what to do seem like that we are just in trouble sometimes but i see hezekiah a man that loved the lord that the bible say the lord was with him but god remembered him even in the time of his illness hezekiah got sick ah and the bible say he was sick unto death we have some members on our church role that we call sunday after sunday and i tell every sick person whether you're watching by live stream or here in the sanctuary don't you give up on god don't you give up on the one that has the power to speak whatever is going on in your life and tell it to move thy yonder he has the power to heal you right now the house of witnesses in the house hezekiah sick and and and he always he he prayed to god the bible said that he turned his face to the wall and he prayed unto the lord now you see when you turn your face to the wall and you start praying you forget about all your fame and fortune you forget about that lexus sitting out there you forget about that brick house you have out there you turning your face toward the wall because you want some serious business now you sick and you're not feeling well you only have one other hope and that hope is to cry to the lord how many times have you turned your face to the wall and cried out to god and and told god god here i am another one of your soldiers because see you're not the only one that's talking to him do i have a witness you're not the only one that's calling him up i know if i'm calling him up william's got to be calling it if rob williams is calling rotten peppers got to be calling if rum peppers is calling brother nolan has to be calling but when he calls the lord when he turn his face to the wall the lord sister jackson the lord said i have heard your prayer isn't it good to know when the lord has heard your prayer some start turning on the inside don't have a witness seem like that pain that i had it moved out that stress that i had lord how am i gonna pay this bill and he sent you a payment through the mail does the exact amount of what you owe somebody come on now believe us it's time to get your house in order don't play with him because he's not a play pretty you're either real or you're unreal hezekiah i just say hezekiah the lord said he's heard your prayer hezekiah went to sand remember me lord all the good that i've done you see some folk don't know how to do good because they've been doing wrong so long but every believer know that our god is an awesome god he'll never leave you nor will he forsake you do i have a witness if it's early in the morning it could be the noonday and sometime he shows up late at night but when he shows up my god leave evidence that he's been by do i have a witness has a car i remember i remember how you serve the people hezekiah i hear your sincereness in your prayer i tell you what i'm going to do since you're laying right there i'm gonna give you 15 more years to your life ain't it all right and you're all right i know he's all right because one day i was laying in a hospital and i let everybody go out of the room and i turned my face to the wall and i said oh lord i know i'm one of your children if you raise me up you don't have to worry about me no more if you just give my life back i'll serve you until the day is done and you wonder why i'm at the church house even before i hit the pulpit monday night at the church house tuesday night at the church house wednesday night at the church house thursday night at the church house but early sunday morning get up roll myself make my way to the house of prayer because he should surely been good he healed my body and i know he did isn't he all right won't he do it can he do it yes he will he'll come and see about you he'll have not only 15 he'll give you more years ahead of your life he's all right [Music] my god your savior he died on the cross so we could have a right to the tree of life i'm so glad i said i'm so glad that the lord heard my cry when my wife was sick i turned my face to the wall lord healer i thank you jesus cancer-free [Music] daughter had a mask in her stomach and we took them all and prayed on and the next day she went to the doctor and the doctor couldn't find that nest but you got to get your house in on you got to make sure that the lord knows who you is and i'm glad that i've had my lups and i had my doubts but through it all i held on to god's unchanging and i made up my mind corona you can't stop me from praising my god do i have a witness high blood pressure you can't stop me from praising my god cholesterol you can't stop me from praising my god is it anybody else in the house [Music] side with me that you go hold on hold on talk to god let the lord fix it for you and i'm a witness he'll fix it look at your neighbor and say he'll fix it he'll fix it for you [Music] now i'm going to sit down when i sing this song [Music] amen but i'm a hold on to see what they're gonna be amen [Music] ditch you better take two the trap yourself just might be for you put it in my heart you can't change it wrapped in my soul the world came home i'm holding it i'm [Music] listen i remember the day remember the hours god came to me with his holy power wish it could have been that when i came through the church was on fire with the holy ghost too know for myself i've been changed into heaven to shine my name put ronnie [Music] [Music] oh i'm holding holding holding holding trusting waiting believing waiting hold on hold on hold on hold on and i'm holding on [Music] wow [Music] thank you lord thank you lord [Music] if it ever was a time america needs to clean up the house my heart goes out for those people that's still under the bridges the people that are standing on the corners i don't care what side of town you go they're standing there saying can you help me [Music] we're in a terminal [Music] everything that we were taught that was wrong man trying to make it right now but god told me to tell you have no fear these things will come so the bible can be fulfilled god said he turned people to be fooled the very lit and they turned to a replicated mind you better make sure you stand with jesus and not with man hello somebody we thank god for all of our visitors today we trust and pray that god has blessed you in a mighty way see when we get to heaven it's not going to be a section for the colors when we get to heaven we all going to be together somebody ought to say amen [Music] it's some good in every nationality [Music] and god has not left forsaken us and people will test your faith but let me tell you something don't let nobody disturb your joy [Music] and if they ask you about a mask ask them why they're driving around with a seat belt [Music] i'm here to say today god gives us an opportunity to clean up our houses y'all don't look at my house until you get your house cleaned don't talk about sister mary's house when your house is not clean because you can see so much dirty sister mary you might need to clean your window hello somebody [Music] god had blessed us this opportunity none of us know who will be here next sunday but while you have a chance i thank you all to give god the greatest praise by giving him applause so my members some of our members have been tested for coving and they have taken shots and they haven't been around anybody but they still contracted it we're praying for those families we thank brother brooks for keeping our church sanitized but let me tell you the the best sanitizer is the blood of jesus because he said in his word we are covered by the blood so as we leave this place today i don't know where you're going you're going back to your home when you walk in just say thank you jesus see sometime we get too sisters and and all of a sudden the house went dark my wife didn't even know this i said oh i know i paid to let the bill but it was just boom and for 10 minutes that was no electricity can you picture people for you some months no electricity i walked outside the whole side of where i live no electricity and while i looked up toward heaven i heard my air condition unit come back home within 10 minutes i walked back in the house and i said god i thank you the electricity had come back home but just that quick y'all [Music] just a just a snap and we all could be sitting in darkness so give god praise while you can [Music] and if you on his side you don't have to worry he said he would take care of us everybody's standing right now everybody's standing [Music] let the church [Music]
