hey me me be me yes yes i feel god in this house i don't know about you but and the bodies the suffering pain rabbit in the body sickness if you would get up and come to the altar this morning because hebrews let us come boldly unto the throne of grace that we might find but i stand and they need to pray 24 hours a day we need prayer god we need prejudice so happy to see all of you god our father god i make us god i created we call on jeopardy for the lord our physician the lord our healer we call on our sustainer this morning we call on the god of our savage you know what we need even before we ask god we come this morning boldly to the throne of grace that we might find mercy in grace in a time of need we need you right now god we need you in our homes we need you in our communities off we need up and down the dangers of highways and byways so much trouble so much cheating going on god people don't regard human life anymore keep it on respecting church but god we stand in the truth because we are the church we thank you for your grace we thank you for your mercy god search our hearts god if you find anything now please remove it right now come on look down in the corridors of my it was god's grace amen sister marge would like to make a testimony good morning it's so good to see you guys i tell you it's nothing like being in the house with your brothers and sisters in christ and i have really missed it i've got some good church on tv and radio but it's nothing like it's nothing like this i said i want to give a quick testimony and hearing that song of course i don't have to hear a song i don't have to see it hear your sermon i know god's grace i know his grace know when they had my name on the list for prayer it was for me yes but i have to rejoice because my baby son was in an automobile accident not at his not it wasn't his fault someone hit him from behind and his car rolled over six times he still here in that god's grace he said when my daughter-in-law called me she said mama put your clothes on come to get you i said what's wrong and she said derek's been in a terrible accident i've always lost one so i don't i didn't know what to expect but i stopped long enough to say because you know your children be hard-hitted and i say god if you if this is your way of getting derek's attention i praise you because sometimes it takes things like that but we have to understand it's not god being mean it's being healed being merciful and my baby my baby girl told me she's mama i really believe god remembered what you let god already got him through and he just said no i was scared and believe me he's scared but you know what he's giving more reverence to god he's calling me more so if it takes god to do it please don't stop and praise him in the midst of it because he knows what he's doing we might think we know our children but he knows he knows better than we do thank you still satan is trying to deceive our young peoples the bible say man we'll chapter 1 through i'll stop at the fourth verse but i use the whole entire chapter there's a word this morning hey my i hear your bible straight and we're so glad grateful to god amen and it came to pass when jesus had commanded him and commanded 12 disciples he departed dance to teach and to preach in their cities now when john and erdest praise on the work of christ he sent two of his disciples and said unto him are thy he that should come how do we look for another jesus said unto them go show john again those things he which he do here and see thank you the fifth verse the dead are risen up and the poor have the gospel preached unto them from that verse i'm going to use for a topic the assignment the assignment john jesus used the letters he spoke more in the 11th chapter of matthew then he spoke in any other chapter here and there's a lot in this as jesus spoke let me pray before i go any further father god right now in the mighty name of jesus we thank you for your word holy spirit come right now move me out of myself and hide me behind the cross that somebody will look through me and see you mother my my oh god let me only speak what you would have me to speak use me in a magnify way god that i will give you the glory it's not about me it's about you lord i stand selfishly to proclaim your word god because your word is true and we need to let the world know that we serve our true and written savior in the by the name of jesus we pray amen in the capacity of studying this chapter we find john in a larger situation john had told herod about the abuse and adulterous affair that he was lied with his brother's wife and john was in prison during his time when jesus commanded these disciples to go tell john that's what it was all about go tell john they had taken john john slept up on the canopies of heaven john never slept in a bed the sky was a roof he had a girl with campbell here he didn't have living clothes on like we have right now he lived like a caveman passing from one degree to the next but he had an assignment to go tell the world about a man that has come you and i have an assignment we fail that sign man when we keep our mouth closed and refused to go out and tell the world that i know a man named jesus regardless of what it costs us because the bible said jesus said whosoever shall lose his life for my name's sake shall pick it up again knew what he was getting into i don't think he understood that he would lose his life for speaking truth sometimes we've we failed to tell the truth because we don't want to offend anybody and people are going down the road the wrong way simply because we want to keep them in a friendship column then our god they call them so many people are perishing today because somebody won't tell them the truth john knew the difficulties it was of killing men's and women's about jesus but he didn't understand the sincerity of it of his mission because he had an assignment from god john had no earthly father but early mother he was of the holy spirit because his mission was to prepare the way for the lord but in preparing that way that would get us right to church because the wall from here to the stop sign down the road we might encounter all different grades encounter people we're gonna encounter people that will look at you and spew you out of their mouth in a second some look at you so mean you're afraid to say anything so many christians are hiding behind a log wall because we're afraid to go out i know they have got dangerous outside and but we dealing with the lord here we keep telling the world the lord got my back but yet we are fearful of killing somebody about a man that can save anybody john had told harrison you're wrong because it's wrong for you to lie with your brother's wife he conveyed unto him and caress her and into his good will to his pleasure sin is good for a season sin is good for ceasar he'll be the last one of us it don't last long in just a season in the past and you get around the corner and say what have i done it was good though for a season but you can't tell god lord i was good for a season seasonal christian is good to me what's good fire is not good to you a lot of us men need to think about the grass on the other side you got a princess and a queen at the house but the grass is greener simply because you have got caught up in the season something about why if you have done the same like-minded thing you got a good man at the house but sin is good for a season he made me feel good i had a a woman my uncle was approaching his man this woman and he kept harassing her to go out with her he kept telling her what he can do for her and make how he can make her feel she said you can make me feel like that why don't you do it in your own life you won't have to leave he put a zipper in his mouth but john john was dedicated to the call of christ john didn't sell jesus out harry could have brought john out with some of his gold pieces of gold bought him a luxurious pad inside the palace and give him a sheet silk the lounge everything but john was committed to the assignment a lot of times we get complacent simply because if you don't watch yourself you get sidetracked and you don't even realize you have gotten sidetracked because satan is trying to throw you off track and we play into his hands by not allowing god to interact for us when you find yourself going on the wrong track stop and say lord redirect my past some of us say we've gone big enough and maddened up i can do whatever i want to do that's true to a certain extent because one day the bible said that all the day will surely come the point an hour might hate when i must stand before my judge and pass that solemn test peter said my record will be there my record is on high and everything i've done in my body anyhow word that i've spoken is recorded in glory and the lord's have your good i wear your bad heaven you shall see but if you're bad so john didn't want that on his resume so john even in prison john was on the assignment he called his disciples together with him and called them to the prison he was peeping out of a wall out of a wounded way the brick was his mattress however you would you look at the new age christian today you go to the church now everybody want that stuff how many of you would live like john live and study praise god john didn't have a cell phone i'll get tickled at my daughter i tell a baby you can't put that phone down she might get married to the phone then i caught myself doing the same like thing i said lord have mercy on me so we have to practice while we preach so john hearing the story and the narrative john say i want you to go to jesus i want you to ask him as he's the one oh she would look for another i want you to you didn't catch something here you never see what john sent his disciples to say go tell jesus to get me out of harold's jail his assignment was to do the will of his father and do the work of the lord your assignment today will do likewise even if it costs you your life you need to be willing to work for the god lord blessed you tremendously look at the clothes you got on and the house you live in and automobile your drive and these cell phones don't come cheap everybody got one watches now that'll talk to you they called you a thousand dollars john didn't have any of that but he was conveyed about the holy spirit he was in in my belief in understanding john will pray god give me the strength to face harris so harry's wife her daughter beautiful they had a feast that night and harry got stupid in his drinking yeah we got drunk and got drank it so much we don't have no crinkles inside the church but we don't have anybody breaking alcohol so we don't have to worry about that john got caught up harry got caught up drinking you know you get rich when you get drunk for a season i have told more lies when i was drinking i might tell the truth at the wall but i was outsmarting myself the lord shot me down the road one day god has a salem has a yield sign but god has a stop sign say it and say be cautious and keep healing to the left go to the right and once in a while but god says stop oh he got so good to it he was looking at no he just lied with his brother's wife now he was looking after the daughter's daughter the wife daughter and he began to think get complacent in his thinking now he was having pleasure thoughts and led water she moved him you know what i'm talking my brother if you can't be moved you know what i'm talking about she razzled and dazzled right now that they hated john they hated john for what john that said you know the world don't like it when you stand up for right you got more people throw stoppers at you than you would throw some amens at you when people sit up and say you think you better than i am simply because i told you the truth i'm not feeling like that so john told us you were wrong but as the story goes the drinking got heavier and heavier that night and she danced and she shook for him and and he lost his compulsion and and she said oh whatever you want and you look down and say whatever them with a dance flow a worthiness dancing and moving moving you know what i'm talking about ladies we ain't been saved all of our lives you do whatever take the move the hand down the road as buddhism got caught up in wrong doing so bad that the required took a man's life she's a reason why i can do fight she's out on the head he loved it john but he was the king and when the king gave his word he had to abide by what he did you are the king's kids so you got to watch what you say when you say it you just can't say anything anything that's pleasant and sound awkward because one day you got to stand before your makeup so john said no no i can't do that remember you gave me your word he didn't realize he got caught up drunk don't come church don't leave out of your house drunk that you go for anything come by cause a lot of men's to see women down the road baby you're looking good and waking at the world don't mean to no good she meant john no good because simply because the assignment had john to tell the truth you go down and tell harris tell him that he's doing it wrong see when you have a call of god on your life you just can't brush it off sin is transitory we live in a transitory moment we live in a transparent moment where we go one day one day see jesus so john here didn't know he lost finn to lose his life but neither did john was concerned about his life he said go tell jesus and go ask jesus are you the one or shall we look for another and after john received the message he said he is he is the one and at the same moment the ashman came in to the person with a long axe in and while the party was still going on they were still drinking their season that ended they were still drinking but the king's season had ended somewhat because he knew what he had done but he had no power to correct it if he had called on god god gave him the direction and told him what to do to get out of satan's trap satan will bait you up in a trap and set you up well you can't get out i can't but you can i can't lord have you ever told yourself this morning to wake up say lord i can't but you can have you ever realized yourself and move yourself on your flesh and say lord i'm struggling i run with the best of them so john gave his life how did he do john's see our tongue can get us in a bunch of trouble john tom calls him to get his head chopped off so what happened it took john they put it out in his mouth they took his tongue and pulled his tongue back and he drove a pig through it as they lay on the platter that he wanted in a good store to go she made a comment saying he won't speak anymore that was sin sin will destroy you we're all living an adulterous affair some of you say i haven't committed adultery in a long time what is he talking about every day we commit adulterous affairs when we go around with other gods when we get complacent and get caught up in ourselves and we get our eyes on god we all arrive with our laws think about it so there's a story go shaking might be fine for a season but it won't get you anywhere that same young lady that had john beheaded later died with a tremendous sadness in that's what paul said in romans 7 and 14 there's no good thing dwell in me so don't get too highly upon yourself yeah because i got this school clothes don't make me a god what make him fit for god's kingdom when you're over yourself to be a servant to be obedient and follow the assignment we all have an assignment go be a fisherman unto the world go make cycle that's your assignment but that's yours i guess your hands are well i'm ready now i'm ready for whatever come my way i know the lord that i served have you ever stepped back and tell the world i know the lord that i serve he's my waymaker he's my day and tomorrow he's my right now he's my will in the middle of a week he's my rock oh god i don't know about you this morning but the store turned in is sad for me because how can this man love god so much that god didn't step in and the holy spirit revealed to me is an assignment we all has an assignment everybody gotta limit out a expiration date that god will call on one day out god got your number down one day uh you might not have to think you got it in your hand but god has it in his head and one day i heard him rather said he gonna read my tops clear and i'm going home to be at risk i'm going on to be with jesus uh i'm tired of this so sinful world church where i won't have to give up the wrong anymore to write anymore for the wrong you look at the world nice sick somebody need a doctor this morning do you need a doctor this morning i've come to tell you about dr jesus he's a waymaker that's more he is the little valley the bride and the morning star he's my god he's my god he's my everything up has it been you everything that's small enough has he bought you from somewhere ah and they pick you up and had to turn you around put your feet on solid ground when you was going wrong i had nobody on your side the lord said come on to me all year later resting place and it made me glad he put joy my heart up people clapping in my hand jumping in my feet up i can run a little bit up i can tell the world i have a redeemer i have a redeemer i know his name if your name is jesus mary's baby my bleeding lamb my today and my right now my eyes you go back in your bedroom and you say i don't know why but jesus mary's baby said bring it on up i come to the world i come to die for the world i come that same jesus that same jesus uh one night one friday night they took my lord up they passed sinners on him up and dead was a sinner they let me tell you one thing about jesus he opened his mouth i came to jesus i came to jesus one day i came to the lord with all my line now with all my tricks i came to jesus he made somebody he turned me around up he put my feet up on solid ground he took a line out of a mava he took dancing out of my feet he put running the streets out of me he put a bottle in my hand he said go tell the world the assignment is uh go tell the world i know a man that is able to do all these things they took my lord they took your guard up and it everybody say that they'll be with you peter judas lied to say what he would do peter lied and said what he would do february moment jesus said can you drink from this cup until the time came when it came peter said no lord not me he lied three times not me the assignment is to go out and make disciples of the world but he took jesus i don't want to lose that point they took jesus he was unrecognizable only unto god he and suffered took him to the cross they laid him down and they kneeled into that old rugged force nailing nailed his hand if it had not been for the cross well none of us be safe you can go home right now because salvation will be lost there will be no sanctification no justification no glorification if it had not meant for the cross we acquired all these things they're there for us they took him after they nailed him to the cross put him in a hole by three feet deep the bible said it's a world rocked and real as a drunken man there's a savior hanging on that cross there's a savior that will look beyond all of your fault right now look beyond you he says senators plunge believe the flood to lose all of our guilt and esteem i don't know about you but i came to jesus i was weary i was wounded and i was sad but i found in jesus i love the way was saying in this motto that young man has anointed on his life and songs and in praise god have blessed him god have blessed you don't ever get jealous of somebody else guilt because god is big enough and god enough to give you whatever you need but they took jesus he died he died church he died you listen at a lot of television ministers you don't know what's going on now there's so much crazy stuff going on so many people that is behind the pope it shouldn't even be on the poopy everybody want this stuff that money you can command this and command that you can't command nothing you can't give nobody your anointing pastor bruce came past his anointing to nail one of us up here he come from god everything god give is good god give all good gifts so in my closing this morning i didn't come to stay long but i wanted to pass this to you the assignment is one day you'll see jesus if you don't give up i don't know whether he'll end up with a brutal situation as john did i don't tend to get him worse in john's situation where to cut your head off and pull your tongue back and pin it to a piece of wood to keep you from telling somebody about jesus you know what the world today might do something crazy like that i heard about found some bodies in a dumpster over here church we are in the last age we're in a lotus hearing period where the church say i have need of nothing and want nothing i'm rich and i got everything i need but the holy ghost if you don't have the holy spirit you can't do nothing you don't have the holy spirit you can i don't care how big your church is it's a church that operates without god thank you earlier that sunday morning you got it with all church assignment is so great i'm not going to tell you that the assignment is easy because assignment is not easy you know what the the heart assignment to have is to save those in your own house that's the world's worst thing to do because you got some knuckleheads in here won't let you get forget when you was not in christ go ahead at this time the doors of the church is open know we've been out moonlighting but it's been a long time amen we have another service to go to and we thank god for those that those of the church was open and we say to them israel is not saved jacob shall not lose his reward and at this time those that have already taken a communion as we prepare to have the lord's supper collection i'm sorry moving too fast collection would have a collection and hey man and words that say offerings but it's still the same thing amen how many had a good time this morning did you enjoy the lord today amen not about me it's about the lord amen i
