head to the soles of your feet in the name of Jesus let every sickness disintegrates let it die let new life spring forth in the name of Jesus so by your authority I rebuke sicknesses and diseases right now and speak health and life and healing in the bodies of your people in the name of Jesus I pray for those who are facing family challenges of different sorts workplace challenges challenges in the community challenges in the church unemployment those who have become unemployable or God with no source of income they look to you as the end of the made to her mistress and as the eyes of the Seraph unto his master so your people look to you remember us we pray I pray Lord God for those wives with unsaved husbands and are facing challenges because two are not walking in unison because they're not in agreement in many ways I pray for those wives God that you touch them and strengthen them grant that the light will continue to shine in the midst of your family and so by their good works they will ultimately convince the unsaved husbands to surrender to you and I pray for the unsaved husbands that you give them understanding hearts Oh to deal and live with a Christian wife in the name of Jesus Christ and them not to become miserable with them in the name of Jesus grandeur they would be supportive of their Christian faith in a name of Jesus I pray for single women who needs companion oh god they are so many single women across the land in the church who needs companionship I pray that you bless them with good companions so that together they can fulfill the purposes of family as your Bourdain is in this earth in the name of Jesus I pray for Christians everywhere especially my immediate audience and my viewing audiences touch them Lord let this week see miracles of when miracles in their lives let the dark clothes disappear Oh glory let there be no flashing humble eyes let me be no stagnant red lights but that green be their portion give them the bull give them to you I pray for those who may be facing challenges of different sorts at this time financial challenges emotional challenges Oh God and otherwise maybe health-related issues will you touch them Lord and strengthen them and heal them and raise them up grant that these children will have all parents to take care of them no infirmity in the name of Jesus no lack of resources in the name of Jesus so that the needs of the children will be adequately supply in Lord of all I pray that all these young men and women will invite you into their hearts save them by your grace we pray in Jesus name now must I must admit that I was tickled by two things this morning I've moved personally er firstly to when the prayer went up about you no no amber lights but green shall be a portion that that that that movement and then secondly I heard the the choir singing and I thought to myself you know taste and see that the Lord is good blessed is the man who trusts in him so I bring a greetings this morning firstly I apologize on behalf of Robert Miller who has a fun emergency overseas he's a former g2k vice president and some of you would know the caretaker in the constituency in which this church happens to to fall secondly I bring a greetings on behalf of generation 2000 [Applause] we're celebrating 20 years this year and anyone who knows about organizations and life 20 years is really a testament to the grace of God grace has brought us here grace will keep us here I like to commend power of faith Bishop Minister David first thank you for having us commend you on 37 years of services right to the community to be in a light in this age to be in the salt of the earth to be in a place where you can come and feel protected and energized and motivated because you see brethren g2k is about the youth we've been giving you with our voice for 20 years as a young professional affiliate of the Jamaica Labour Party when sister Johnson was carried him to the seats I thought about how far we've come you know we're your lawyers your doctors your utilities your pharmacists your accountants your business persons and we say that you know we're about more than just politics what politics is important to us because politics about people we think about an outreach event the other day where someone had an unfortunate circumstance and was out about house and home and to our organization we were able to provide a person with bathe and groceries to help ease the discomfort they were experiencing and those bearing one another's burdens and fulfilling the law of Christ so it's really a pleasure for us to be here with you today because we also know an anniversary montrose is an annual event and we start with our church service because as the scripture says which I'm sure you all know unless the Lord builds a house they were labor labor in vain the labor right would live by in vain if you know us and build a house so we are here to celebrate with you to worship with you we ask ask your brethren to remember us in your prayers we ask that when you're in your prayer closet you will know the prayer mat please remember us we need it similarly we will pray for you also and as I move to close I just want to encourage a notice of mothers here from grandmothers here I may be seen you know that you know your son probably not acting right you should have come give me like a company to come church this morning and you mean the word about him you won't give up you might say what this but you know were it not for the grace of God I would be like that because just a few years ago my mother would have been praying the same thing for me so don't give a funny me work with him your husband are acting right work with him pretty friend oh don't grow weary in doing good we're encouraging in that respect to keep pressing on to keep performing for the people to keep giving I heard all the prayers this morning of encouragement and to break the bands of discouragement that we similarly ask that you continue and press on and knowing fully well that faith without works is dead we would like to tangibly contribute to this movement Bishop and we have a made their feet fast in the stocks and at midnight Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises unto God and the prisoners heard them and suddenly there was a great earthquake so that the foundations of the prison were shaken and immediately all the doors were open and everyone's bands were loosed the honor the Word of God thanks be to God put your Bibles down clap your hands for the word of God has been God I want to just quickly get into the theme for us so that you can understand my business here in the pulpit I want to use for a theme when you're midnight strike somebody touched somebody beside you said when your midnight strike and touch yourself and say when my midnight Shrike thank you Jesus we find in the book of Acts and we call it Acts of the Apostles but it is truly acts of the Holy Spirit because we identify in this book the move of the Holy Spirit bringing forth deliverance salvation strength empowerment and also rebuke to those who were not in order in here we find in the particular chapter of Acts the sixteenth chapter bless the Lord Paul and Silas were imprisoned and they were imprisoned as simply because a woman that had at the spirit of divination praised the Lord as she was gaining her master's much money and she did it by suit sane but she followed the Paula and for a great while hallelujah Paul and Silas who are doing the Masters of Business and she was doing her master's business and one thing I want you to understand that if you are doing your master's business that is the Almighty God and somebody else doing somebody else's business both of you cannot cohabit in the same space it is either God or the devil but I want somebody to know today that if you are for God you have no place for the développé you have no place for the enemy you can't make a room for the enemy you can't build a room the back room for the devil and the front room for God if God is your God he must occupy every area of your life every area of your room you can't come to church on worship but when you go in your car if we turn some of your engine or honor the kind of music that is played in your vehicle our God Almighty can I preach here to bring somebody to understand if God be God we may not serve Him somebody says serve Him somebody say another time serve Him so the damsel police with a spirit of divination she met Paul and Silas and she followed them for a while her message was these are men of the Most High God she made the right statement but the spirit behind this statement was wrong hallelujah you have some people making some rights tear mender but if you're Terry for a while you will find out that the Spirit is not good and that's why I'm praying for the church to have discernment of spirits because we are low some people to say some things into our lives now cognizing uh they are the spirit behind them if we are not careful the spirit inhabits osha and sometimes you have some company by the time you leave the company the sium attitude they had in the company you find yourself in the scene where it's a spirit somebody say it's a spirit somebody say it's a spirit hallelujah so you have to watch the company that your keyboard you have to watch the things that you speak about them you have to look at the attitude my sharp you start to do the same thing can I talk to somebody here we must have discernment the spirit to know who is of God from who is of the devil for we have some Devils that is standing around some Christians and because our eyes are shut close we don't know them but I pray that our eyes will be open so we can see the spirit at work I'll be able to address set up in the name of Jesus or somebody to show the praise for a moment [Music] hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah watch this now in the verse 18 of chapter 16 of the book of Acts and this did she many days but Paul being grieved we have to reach a place where we agreed in our spirit of when things know right when something's not right when some spirit not right we have to become griever of a righteous indignation should rise up inside of ahsha Oh God Almighty some of us we play too we compromise too much ah there are some things that we can compromise on but there's something that we should not compromise on when somebody join with us in Prior and I said don't call the name Jesus ah call the Lim gada I'm here to say to somebody you don't know it's God that they wanna shine you to pray with them for if Jesus Christ of Nazareth is not in the mists of your prior you've been elected Honda you better move from the company for the Bible says oh god no man cometh unto the father but by Jesus Christ we want to appease at the devil and that's why we find some later songs that we sing some worship songs and and I pay attention to some of those songs that are being sung none of this some of those songs are don't carry the name Jesus in it you don't really know which god they're addressing when they're singing uh can I talk to you here and I say to my praise and my choirs watch the songs look at this spiritual meaning type of person somebody might dealing with large oh can I talk to you here some of them Seles or never wanna cause you to sing the motive behind the song even it's not of God you're pouring it into the congregation of and before you know it the congregation start the waiver but in the name of Jesus our I decree that this congregation eyes will be open somebody say warmer highs all my eyes [Music] she swallowed Paul she followed Silas but she was not appalled and she was not of Silas she followed for a while but she's not of them she served a different master from Paul and Silas but she followed him she was there with them but she served a different master some of your company yes here with you but the server a different master are you have to know in whom they serve who do they put their trust in or do they give their allegiance to or somebody says something to the Lord right now she follows him many days praise God but the first night he says and when her master saw praise God let me backtrack to verse 18 and this she did for many days what Paul being grieved turn and said to the spirit I want to pause just to say this because we have been doing some things wrong we rebuking individuals we point on the physical person but what Paul did was not address the damsel but he address the spirit but if your spiritual highs not all panel you can see spirit up to address spirit er we must understand that is a spirit er inhabiting the body and if the body is not all Lord God Almighty can can it Osprey sure your hair get it especially here hallelujah hallelujah Paul understood spiritual warfare for we understand as a according to the scripture that we wrestle not against flesh we're doing warring with the paneer Baha we're doing wiring with your coworker we're doing warring on siding somebody pick up stones and bottles and mash it up and gone huh I want you to understand that this is a spiritual warfare and if you don't have the back about the holy goes up you don't know how to fight spirit somebody said we need a holy course we'll need a warhorse some of us will become too complacent why simply because in various sections of the church there is not the desire for the Holy Ghost being preached the Holy Ghost has been left out of many service and we find that the preacher self-help you can help yourself that you can advance yourself but I want us to understand this that the only true advancement is when the Holy Ghost come upon you and you have the power come on somebody I need this power Jesus Christ the first chapter he said until you be endued Oh some of your gone preacher in all type of neighborhood then I've been trapped by the enemy power to enter into some vicinity and the clergy thus cries Oh can somebody praise the Lord watch this now chapter one Jesus said don't leave until you be endued with power from an ayah and when you receive the power you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem your vicinity in Samaria roundabout can I talk to you here and to the utmost part of the earth but the central focus is receiving the Holy Ghost for it is through the power of the Holy Ghost so that the church is strong that the church is a force to be reckoned with tough when the hula course is a Pawnee you know whatever somebody said no never somebody said no never no never so let me let me let me let me try to fix some stuff here for you you could clear until you I turn blue you could shoot until you feel like you're gonna faint the power that's gonna move your situation is the Holy Ghost the Holy Ghost power is what's gonna move your situation huh and cause you to get deliver answer oh I know you love to shout oh I know you love to sing Oh know you love to lift your hands and that's all right because that have its place what God is saying after the show there is something that the enemy will after rolling from somebody just the person beside you I said you you have the power somebody else beside you you have the power somebody say I got the power I got a power when you have the power let me give you some blessing huh when you have the power you shall run through troops um I don't care how many the troops are you shall rolling through troops are you shall leap over wall can I talk to somebody here oh great god almighty party when you have the Holy Ghost shop then never will know you will never set up oh I know Jesus and know why because the power someone you can't even sleep into your own bed why because you're set demon better rise up in the Holy Ghost and speak to your conditioner in the name of Jesus I got to rise up a few years ago I was a part of the healing family in the nation team and I was to reach to the service at about 4 o'clock I was a part of the oceans at the time and I was given the assignment to do something in the early morning but I woke up with an excruciating pain in my stomach and I tried to call a few of the ushers to fit in for me because I didn't think or thought that I would have made it based on the type of pain that I was feeling in my body and I didn't get anybody and so the Holy Spirit just gave me a word and he said to me speak to your body by the spirit that is in your body for me that was a Rhema word a word in time for my situation and I said that makes sense because my body is not in control of me but the Spirit of God my body is just an altar vessel for the spirit that inhabits my body and so the Lord said speak to your body by the spirit that is in your body and so I speak to the pain and I say in the name of Jesus I command you to leave this body shock attire bow shock the Holy Spirit three times and I said it three times and I put my clothes on as I'm leaving out of the house and by the time I dress myself I'm ready to leave older I got the cause from all the person who I was trying to get through to hallelujah so they call me and they said they saw the missed call I said don't worry everything is all right I'm on my way when the Holy horse is inside of your and rise up inside of you I don't hear what bull boy I don't care what the enemy says er I don't care what you're feeling up inside of your body you got [Music] [Music] Paul was upset in his spirit grief in his spirit his righteous indignation stepped in and he spoke to the spirit not the person he addressed the spirit that was leading the damsel and the spirit left her body not because of Paul but because of the authority that Paul was carrying if you don't have the authority and the power you could shout and scream all your screamer but it's the power that's going to make an impact and bring the enemy to his knees come buddies I need the power hallelujah Paul address the spirit and the spirit left the body of the woman because of the authority that was in Paul and the Bible says that her masters saw that their gain was gone what they did was call food for Paul and Silas to be beaten and to because in prison now the authority that Paul and Silas carried we see them subjected themselves to the authority of the the Pharisees hallelujah physically they subjected themselves to the authority they were beaten they were bruised they were cast in prison they were placed in the inner part of the prison they had stocks and chains on their bodies and soldiers guarded them the Bible said that they had they were in the position for a while a short while 11:30 came but they were still in the position hallelujah 11:40 came they were still in the position they were nursing their wounds 11:50 came they were still nursing their wounds 11:55 came they were still nursing their wounds but something happened under change of a day I really don't have the time but I want us to understand this that there is something about a change of day yesterday you may be experiencing some Stoffer but today your situation can change Oh hallelujah yesterday they were beaten yesterday they were cast in prison but at midnight the Bible said that is something unusual [Music] put their physical beaten and bruised they knew something the other sailors did no no God can I talk to somebody here who know their God do you know your got to deal if you know your God just shout of praise unto your car [Music] watch is now at midnight Paul and Silas prayed and there's some praises unto God something powerful happened also that they were making so much noise not knows what sound that the prisoners around them heard something Oh God from the two men they heard of praise they heard a shout they heard a prayer they did not hear a complainer so you get B now your complain you complain too much when problems come aha you complain too much ha where is your place where the play the Holy Ghost with us some of you up in a in similar like situation instead of praising God you're complaining about what they did to you you know what they did to me huh you know what they said about me you know what they dropped my name in the mother for where is your [Applause] experience shout up raise up raise the prisoners hearing them is a witness for somebody must witness when the power rise up inside of you somebody who is not saved need to know that somebody over that house I have the power of God what can I say this to you somebody around you must know what you're carrying who you're carrying when you open your mouth this is something huh we're supposed to come from your mama somebody must know that you're of a different kind [Music] they're late many stripes gossip in prison midnight they prayed number one prior is a communication between ourselves and God it is a dialogue or it should be a dialogue a dialogue is communication between parties a monologue is a communication that is one way and some of us we monologue God what do I mean we pray and before God can respond to us we get up from our knees and we go about our business and if something happened to us we say God you didn't show me where to go I'm gonna say what I want to talk with you all along but you have no time to listen to me God says some of you talk too much more dear I said to you that you're talking too much I say this because the Lord said he wants to talk with you I need your undivided attention up so sometime when you're going your prayer closet huh just say Lord Here I am speak to me from you sometime you have to get into a silent zone because you wanna hear from God you wanna hear what God is saying for your life for your season for your situation ah that you're able to go forward somebody touch somebody beside you I said listen to God [Music] throws your solo watches now the Bible says that they prayed a communication a dialogue and not just that but they sang praises now generally speaking we sing praises when something good has happened or when we anticipate that something good is ago it's going to happen we begin to praise God so when you may get an increase on your on your job and you said I praise God for my increase somebody went to the doctor and they give you a clean bill of health you praise God for the clean bill of health but here the man had nothing to give thanks for except that God was with them and I want you to understand that that's some time we may go through I try period in our lives and where we see like God is not there and we feel like they are taking advantage of you but there is something powerful that you can do in your moment of dryness in your moment of stop you can lift your voice from deep down in the recesses of your being I say I'm gonna praise God because it's still good my condition may not be good but God is still good can we have some people here that will show the praise for the goodness of God praise him for his greater praise him honey for his mercy ISM and your if praise praise praise [Music] they began to praise they prayed and they began to praise God and the Bible said the prisoners heard them the first 26 and suddenly here was a great earthquake so that the foundations of the prison were shaken and immediately all the doors were open and everyone's bodies were loose ah you can never be in a prisoner I there is no prison huh the Holy Ghost cannot get at all cause you to a victory somebody shot for victory right now [Music] option to tender on the verse 19 the Bible says and he shall receive power somebody's a power Oh glory to God Almighty you shall tread upon serpents with this power come on use your feet right now and just make a step and scorpion in those days what would happen is that scorpions and snakes would inhabit the homes because they live for the most part in tents and they would shovel from here to there snakes and scorpions would come under and under and sting and cause
