sovereign god of the universe to journey in life with the creator of all and certainly can manage our little miniscule issues in life amen sometimes we just got to get our eyes off of our stuff and get our oh magnify the lord get him big in your life and everything else gets small hallelujah [Music] oh you're here today celebrating the resurrection that's pretty big the jesus came out of the grave victorious over death the enemy of the human of all humankind the greatest enemy jesus defeated and he's well able to manage any of our crises and situations and sicknesses and problems amen when we give it to him and turn to him while we're standing a moment i'd like for us to pray together if we'll take the hand of the one nearest lift up especially those that's impacted by hurricane ida we have very many brothers and sisters in louisiana we have brothers and sister burns has family there and others have family members there that are much impacted homes are lost people have just and incidentally we'll be taking offering here in a few minutes and you may want to prepare but father right now we lift up our brothers and sisters we thank you that have been the name of jesus we have victory the lord adversity comes in this life but lord we turn to you and know that before hope god i faced adversity i went astray but you talked to me you caressed me you corrected me you helped me and thank you lord for every situation we put it into your hands knowing it all works together for good inviting now lord for you to sustain our brothers and sisters provide for them keep them lord nourished and cared for give them shelter meet every need in their lives lord we lift them up lord especially that you intervene with power and encouragement and strength in the inner man let that inner man be strengthened in the lord as well as lord meeting all the needs in our family be your brother echo dean the others lord jesus struggling in time of loss whatever the situation's lord here we are looking to you the author and the finisher of our faith and we're believing lord for your intervention as we pray in jesus name somebody say in jesus name because that is the name above every name that's the name of authority and power and deliverance and healing and victory jesus jesus oh that name turns it around hallelujah amen guiding us into victory praise god praise god praise god victory ahead i see it hallelujah hallelujah in the lord jesus amen amen amen praise god hallelujah i feel such a touch of the lord here today oh what a good good good good god amen as you're preparing to give and offerings and tithe today ushers have envelopes god bless you as you take the envelope or go online five ways to give and just for sherina i got some money here somewhere and so thank you for remembering our kids [Music] with a noisy offering to change lives amen thank you for remembering our children lots of kids activities matter of fact when i came through incidentally i always park on the back outside of the lot i don't park on a lot anywhere close i always park out it's not a bad place to park back there on trabuco just walk right through it's easy you don't have to go digging around for a parking place praise god anyway uh hallelujah came through and there was lots of kids back there in the jumpers i imagine there's some in them right now i don't know i was wondering now how they gonna get all these kids out of here but anyway kids ministry thank you for your support if you want to ride on the envelope hurricane relief we have a we have an endorsed ministry it's entitled reach out america it's connected to the federal government through fema as well as other operatives and uh 100 of the funds go directly to the cause and it also mobilizes our churches our church members i've got reports already from our leadership there in louisiana and circulated it to several people but anyway that it's already on ground moving and mobilized and if you want to be a support in this blessing you can write it on to the envelope hurricane relief as well as we're remembering sheaves for christ she's for christ as the annual missions giving for primarily our young people youth department but it also moves the gospel so i said she's for christ i really mean [Music] move the mission it moves the gospel and provides vehicles for missionaries all of our missionaries worldwide have vehicles motorcycles bicycles cars i've been in numerous of those uh move the mission vehicles and uh we're so grateful for them as well as many many many supplies have provided for our worldwide missionaries through this effort so write that on the envelope or just give it in to the youth fund and it'll be directed in that area as well as this is mission sunday so there's three areas appealing for support and help and god will bless you you're not going to out give the lord just be compassionate be generous take opportunity here to give it's an occasion to give and every time that opens up you you you so sparingly you reap sparingly but when you sow generously you reap generously i read that in the bible he might know that and the next verse talks about the god that supplies with all abundance of grace is going to meet all your needs so you just go right ahead and give and he's going to take care of every need to minister to every need in your family in your life because he is faithful he is faithful you yeah give him praise hallelujah you look at the book of job and you say man what's that book about what's the ancient old question why do bad things happen to good people i mean job was a pretty good guy why do bad things happen to good people and the truth is bad things do happen but the answer to the whole thing is you can't question god god's in charge he's got good reason for it all and you just hold on to him and you and you see the victory that's around the bend brother eckerd you just hang on to him so good to have brother eckerd dean here today would you welcome him god bless him praise the lord amen recently having lost his beloved and brother bill daley's mother sister kim aoki's mother so continuing to lift up the dean family also good to have margarita here this morning for her first time other first-time guests and visitors god bless you all we're happy that you're in the house of the lord praise god everybody say praise the lord job said i'm just going to hang on to god i don't see the victory right now matter of fact i don't see god anywhere right now but he said i know that i know my my redeemer liveth he's out there somewhere and when i'm tried i'm going to come through this i'll come forth as gold god's working the process it's all good so wherever you're at in life today just keep holding on to him hallelujah and congratulations because you have started your week out right you're in the house of the lord turn to somebody near you if you can and congratulate them give them a high five a greeting of some kind and starting their week out right amen the christian sabbath saying i recognize there's a creator hallelujah yeah you can tell them say you really are the smart ones yeah smart ones know that there is creator and the creator is the one that really is sovereign god of this universe praise god you and i are just in the flow with him and so we honor him today he said come into me in this place of mediation and let me honor you as you honor me anybody glad to feel the presence of the lord today hallelujah hallelujah amen let's stand together again the eschews will be waiting on us here in a moment let's pray father now we've covet the blessings of our heavenly fathers we ask while we participate in tithe and offerings just yielding ourselves to covenant with you concerning finance that you do meet every need every situation whether it be need for healing in body heart mind spirit whatever it may be whether it be lord jesus just navigating through the crises of life that wherever we all come from from all the venues and places of life that you interact intersect intervene now lord for us as you have continually now continue to intervene lord to guide us onward through this journey we just want to be faithful to you lord because we know that you're faithful to us and we honor you lord with the first of increase of tithe and as well as offerings as we've prayed for our brothers and sisters in louisiana we want to provide for them financially to help them and see that there's water and food and other supplies and then as well lord our missionaries worldwide being cared for as we do the designated offerings this morning we just pray your blessings over it all and we thank you for the privilege to give even bless someone that doesn't have to give lord that they could give in the future and learn what it is to be in the flow of blessings and we pray for all this and let everybody say in jesus name amen turn to a few folk to move and to hear his voice so let's participate let's show up [Music] amen and today we had you know it's been summer vacation and people have been going here going there some even made it to hawaii and i'm praying over my jealousy i really am i'm giving it to god and asking him to help me but we had a couple go to hawaii and then some came back from hawaii forever changed and that is brother andrew sister tori would you please stand [Applause] so what happened brother andrew what happened you asked tori to marry you amen and she said yes thank you yes we love you guys we're excited for you congratulations amen [Applause] [Music] [Applause] and today because we've got a full schedule and we've got a full day i'm not going to take too much of your time but the lord has directed me into a message to present to the family and so we're going to hear from god we're going to hear his word and then amen and so immediately after service then we will go into the parking lot where the summer festival will begin and so there will be concerts starting at 12 o'clock hopefully we'll be able to start at 12 and then go throughout we will need help cleaning up today after the event so we're working on a cleanup crew and if you'd like to help please just see one of us and say i'd like to help him clean up and that would be a blessing and there's a lot of things to put away amen going to the word of the lord this morning first corinthians chapter 15 first corinthians chapter 15 and verse 58 and then i'm gonna go to psalm chapter 127 and verse one so starting with first corinthians chapter 15 verse 58 and then we'll be going over to psalm chapter 127 and verse 1. [Music] first corinthians 58 says therefore my beloved brethren be ye steadfast unmovable always abounding in the work of the lord for as much as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the lord be steadfast and unmovable in the work that god does through you and then going to psalm chapter 127 and verse 1 psalm 127 verse 1 except the lord build the house they labor in vain that built it except the lord keep the city the watchman waketh but in faith and so if you'll permit me just for the next few moments to speak to you on this topic your vain labor your vain labor let's pray lord in jesus name right now god we just thank you for this opportunity to come into this room into this place jesus and we just pray anointing right now god rest upon your word lord rest upon your word as it goes forth jesus be with us today thank you god for calling us lord deeper into relationship and lord greater transformation in our hearts today god thank you lord for working on us jesus and giving us a wonderful day today we give you praise we give you honor we give you glory in jesus name and everyone say amen amen tell somebody you love them as you're seated i love you it's good to see you today i love you as you're seated in the presence of the lord amen just to show that i'm not planning on taking too long i don't have a pulpit i don't even have an ipad this morning okay so some could say that's a problem it may be a problem i mean i may just get long-winded because i don't have anything telling me i have no idea what time it is i mean my phone's in my pocket my watch is covered up by my jacket so but hopefully but the going to keep me on point here today and make sure that i'm doing good that i'm done in about 15 minutes but this monday this last monday god woke me up with this thought that we do have vain labor now we know the passage of scripture that tells us that our labor is not in vain but many times i neglect to realize that there is a preface to that statement and that is whatever i do in the lord is not in vain whatever i do unto god is not in vain when i sow into his kingdom by my finance it is not in vain when i sow into god's kingdom with my time it is not in vain when i sow into the kingdom with my talent it is not in vain anything i do for christ is not in vain but rather it becomes my eternal gain you see so if i work in god's kingdom and i do what god does and i operate let letting god operate through me then i'm walking with him and one day i will walk with him all the way through those gates into his city called heaven but i need to be careful because there are times when i can begin to do the work of god and if i'm not careful about doing the work of god i can begin to do the work of me or even what happens is a lot of times people use we'll use ministry as an excuse to neglect their relationship with god because oh i'm involved in ministry i don't have time to do that i'm having to do this i've got too many responsibilities i can't pray in the altar i gotta tell you something today and that is greater than your ministry is your relationship with god because without relationship you don't have ministry and how can i effectively minister without a relationship how can i know that i'm where i need to be unless i know his voice oh heaven forbid the day where we neglect our prayer life but we stand on the platform and we want to be used oh heaven forbid the day that i neglect my own daily devotion but i'm willing to share the gospel with somebody else i've got to maintain my labor in my relationship with christ i've got to maintain the labor in christ and that is not in vain if you look at the word vain what does vayne mean you've heard it said before you're so vain am i you're so vain and when somebody tells you that it's a bad thing it's like really no anybody ever take that as a compliment you're so vain oh yeah all right that's great man i love that yeah yeah oh me yes no we don't like it when people say that about us because it's our true intent to be selfless it's our true intent not to be vain because the definition of vain is having or showing an excessively high opinion an excessively high opinion of one's appearance abilities or worth i could but i'm not going to tell you to turn to your neighbor and say do you have an excessively high opinion of yourself i wasn't saying do it so here's the thing if i take that definition of vain and apply it to the scripture and the way that i see it then yeah anything that i do for christ is not in vain because it's not an opinion of myself it's not self-elevating but it is elevating christ and so anything i do for christ is not in vain because it doesn't promote me it doesn't bring me glory but it brings him glory but anything that i do for myself neglecting the glory of god then yeah it's vain and i'm lifting myself up i'm self-elevating me and i'm saying oh look at me i'm so amazing oh did you know what i did last week no you didn't do anything it was actually jesus who was doing the work through you and so i talked about on wednesday night how the spirit of the lord was moving i felt impressed to tell people that god is about ready to strategically place you into moments and situations where god will use you in a very mighty way and so in those moments you gotta recognize that it's not you it's not your thoughts it's not your wisdom it's not your ability but it's god operating through you and you're just facilitating what god wants done in that moment even right now when i'm standing on this platform people come to me and say oh pastor that was an amazing message oh pastor best message of the year i'm like all right yeah no no no because it's not my message it's not my message it's not my thought all i am is the mouthpiece and all i do is open my mouth and that's all he asked me to do is open my mouth and he does the rest you see we are nothing more than just vessels we're nothing more than just facilitators of the work that god is doing within us but that's where i got to make sure my vessel is pure my vessel is clean that's why i can't minister without a relationship i can't get to this platform without spending time in prayer first i can't start my day and begin to minister and move in this world without first of all finding out the direction and the guidelines for the day okay god what do you want me to do what's the map for today jesus i'm not going to know what to do unless i talk to him first because if i'm not prayed up and i'm not ready then he's going to put me in the middle of a situation and i'm not going to know what to do put you in the middle of the situation and you're not going to know what to do your vain labor i'm going to go a little bit over 11 o'clock today i'm sorry but that's just the way it is okay so i can look at my watch but don't look at yours okay because this last week i had a moment where god put me in the middle of a situation and i had no idea what i was doing because i've never done anything like this in all my life it was just like god was leading me every step of the way he was he was giving me functions and preemptions and like okay i need to do this okay i need to do this okay i need to do this and so is anybody ready for my story i've purposely been keeping all the family in suspense with my story today and so if i can have that first picture media team of dave and myself and so we can just have that up there as just in the background so we can see it it's like all weird shaped all right i look like so this last wednesday i decided to finally get back on the bike after my achilles tendonitis and so i put in a quick 20 miles but i didn't leave until about 11 o'clock and you never want to leave at 11 o'clock because if you're going from the beach from here to the beach from here you're going into a headwind and it's usually a pretty strong headwind and if you get on a bike headwind is not your friend okay it makes your work double triple hard okay like you can ride 16 miles an hour into a headwind but with the tailwind you'll be pushing 24 to 25 miles an hour i mean it's like a 10 mile difference almost in terms of miles per hour and so i didn't want to leave too too late but i ended up leaving leighton so i head down to seal beach and i get down to the river's end which is the old restaurant it's now out of business but riverside used to be the rice don't call it rivers end but you the the rivers in restaurant is where we stop because there's a public restroom where we fill up our water bottles use the restroom if we have to and so that's just our normal spot we stop in there every time we ride to the beach no matter if we're going huntington beach newport beach or wherever we always stop at river's end as a way to water up and get ready because you're supposed to go through you're supposed to go through a water bottle every hour one bottle one hour okay so if you're doing an hour ride you got to go through one water bottle so we're always filling up our water bottles so i'm down there and for some strange reason i felt impressed to take my bicycle in the restroom with me which i never do but i was writing by myself i was like okay i'll take the bicycle in with me and so i set it up against the wall and then i'm all done i walk out but i noticed some things while i was in the restroom and that was i noticed that in the stall there was an orange cone on the other side of the stall almost like preventing somebody from going in and i didn't think anything of it i just noticed things are out of place so this orange cone was out of place and i noticed it and i didn't think anything of it and i heard a little bit of rustling over in the stall but i didn't think anything of it and so then i i'm done with the restroom and i walk out and i'm sitting in the first bench closest to the restroom area and i got my water bottle out i'm just enjoying the ocean enjoying the beautiful seal beach and i'm just like oh thank you jesus what a beautiful day thank you lord for this opportunity thank you god i live in southern california thank you jesus for the sunshine thank you lord for the no humidity right now you know and i'm just enjoying myself getting my water and all of a sudden i hear bicycle cleats running now when we ride a bicycle we clip in so we have cleats on the bottom of our shoes we clip in because we can push down and pull up push down pull up and you get a lot of power through your whole legs it's not just always pushing down so you're locked in and you never run in cleats who would want to run in those cleats i sure wouldn't it's impossible but you hear cleats and automatically i'm thinking nobody runs in their cleats nobody so something's happening i don't know all the commotion's behind me i don't know what's happening but i'm going to get on my bike just in case just in case i gotta go quick i'm gonna be on my bike just in case so i was prepared i was on my bike i was rolling around on the beach side of river's in and i was coming around the front and out of nowhere i began to hear hey you stop and a whole bunch of other things but that was the gist of it hey you stop and i roll out in front and i hear him talking to a guy that was on his left he said this guy just stole my bike and at that point in time i said which way did he go again i never done anything like this in my life which way did he go and at that point in time you where you go park at seal beach you dropped down into the parking lot at that time i saw a guy all wearing all black just cresting that peak of the parking lot and i began to do that push down pull up push down pull up maneuver and i looked at my computer later i hit 26.7 miles an hour within about five seconds so just push down pull up push down pull up push down pull up and so by the time i crested the top of the hill the assailant was making the first left and i was like okay well i'll follow behind him i'll be all right and so i'm following behind this guy he had just stolen a bike he was in the restroom when i was in there he didn't pick on me probably because my bike's a lot smaller but dave he's got a lot bigger bike than i do so he decided to pick on dave so i'm chasing him and he makes a left down the first street and i'm just about about 30 feet behind him and he makes that left and he makes a right zigzagging i'm just zigzagging with him i'm just paying attention and the law enforcement officers in our church the things these talk to me about begin to settle and i begin to think just be a good witness but i have thoughts going should i do a pit maneuver you know get up here but i mean but then i'm like no no but if i do a pit number he's going to fall i could fall then we start fighting i don't want to be no no no no no i'm a good prayer warrior but hey when it comes to fist fights the dear god help us so i'm just like i'll pray for him when he gets down on the ground sure so i decided not to do that no pit maneuvers i'm okay i'll just keep following him as i begin to think be a good witness okay so as a good witness what can i do i can only see his backside because i'm following him and he's on this stolen bike he's not clipped in he doesn't have clips but i do he's not getting away from me so i'm not worried about that so i'm just beginning to process black t-shirt black long baggy pants like ghee pants black shoes black socks the back of his head looks a little buzzed the back of his forearm has a tattoo that's tribal or flamed and so i began to process all this and the last thing that stuck with me which stuck with me the most is whenever you get on these bicycles they're designed to be arrow so they bend you way over so you're like this on these bikes okay and so if you're not wearing bibs okay which is what we all wear bibs it's gonna show off your underwear okay and when you sit on the saddle it pulls the pants down more okay so i'm riding right behind him and the only thing i see is green circles red circles and black background boxers green circle red circle black background boxers i got it boxers red circles green circles black background boxers i got it okay okay so as i'm processing all this i'm familiar with the area he decides to pull into a shopping center so i felt comfortable okay i know the shopping center so at about that time i did a little bit more kick up and pull down at this point i have not called 9-1-1 at this point i've just been following him but i decided to pull up next to him and i'm riding next to him and i said do you want to give it back [Applause] i mean given the benefit of the doubt here i mean no fault no harm no foul i mean you want to give it back now you're good to go right so instead of being the good gentleman he should have been he decided to kick harder and start breaking traffic laws and at that moment oh i was in hot pursuit [Applause] he was jumping medians and i was going around cars and about that time once i got all that mental imagery out of my head i picked up my phone and called 9-1-1 and so here i am chasing this guy down pch and on the phone with dispatch like where are you at i'm heading north on pch okay yeah yeah yeah okay we're sending patrol cars out right now i said okay well now we're getting ready to go west on first street but he broke in front of traffic and i'm stuck i have to wait on the light so just hold on but we made a long west on first street so i'm sitting there waiting for traffic to pass i never got the green light but i went ahead and went when it cleared and so there i see the assailant and he is down in an alley so we're looking to see what i'm gonna do and so then he sees me coming down first street and i'm like yeah we're still going down first street they said where is he now i said well he's in front of me where is he at now well he's making a ride into a mobile home park right now that's where he's headed and so what mobile home park is i said ah the shores seal beach the shores i can see the sinus the shores seal beach and so then then i'm still talking to him but this whole time it's like there's something inside of me just leading me i mean i knew exactly how far to stay behind him i know i knew when to approach him to help him and give them the opportunity to give the bike back and i wouldn't call the cops or anything you know i waited until he decided not to heed my warning to call the cops okay so i was giving the benefit of the doubt you know there's no for no now no condemnation in christ jesus okay so we're all with sin so i'm giving you the opportunity i'm not going to throw a stone okay and so but he decided to keep sitting so what am i going to do you know so i made the call and then he makes that right into the mobile home park and something told me stand here because there's only one entrance and one exit to the mobile home park and if you get in there hey you can get lost and you can get jumped so i just felt led to stay put so i stayed put at the front of the entrance of the mobile home park and about two minutes later seal beach pd rolls in and they begin to ask me questions i begin to tell them all that just happened just what i told you except for i didn't tell them the key fact that i asked him if he'd give the bike back i didn't i didn't tell him that but i tell you so we're going through this whole process and i'm sitting and waiting and it's been about 15 minutes i actually during this time period i called my wife i said may i'm going to be later than usual because normally i'm home in about an hour hour and 15 minutes when i ride to the beach and back up and say maybe later than usual she said what's up i said i'm involved in a crime and she says what'd you do [Applause] it wasn't like what'd you do it was like what'd you do i was like it wasn't me i wasn't involved that way i'm just a witness and i'm just telling the cops everything that i'm telling you right now and so i'm gonna be late and so i'm sitting there waiting and some time goes by and there's this guy that's walking up and down the side of the road of the mobile home park and he's got shorts on and just shorts and shoes shorts shoes no shirt and he's just walking up and down the mulvan park and one of the residents said that's a guy who's got tattoos on him i said that's not the guy but something popped in the back of my mind because if you're gonna commit a crime and you know you're gonna do it you take a change of clothes i learned that key fact this is a time for me to be set free of my sins okay so james chapter two right so i'm going to confess so i can be healed when i was 15 i used to sneak into knott's berry farm and um we you can't do it no more they've changed the places you can't they figure it all out you can't sneak in no more but we used to ch take a change of clothes or at least lay wear layers so you could take them off and the security wouldn't know it was you that was our little tactic as a 15 year old kid so something hit wait a second he probably could have changed clothes but i didn't say nothing i just dismissed that thought and 15-20 minutes go by and i'm sitting there an hour now and finally uh officer walks up and says we have somebody can you id them i said yes i can id them so they get me in the patrol car and i'm riding next to sheriff's deputy and same guy i've been giving my testimony to my witness testimony and we pull up next to the assailant the suspect and i don't recognize the guy i mean all i did was saw his backside i never saw his face i mean i saw his profile when i said do you want to give it back you know when i said that i saw his side profile but i never did see him and didn't really know and i was like man i don't know i said can you have him stand up so they had him stand up i said can you have him turn around so he turned around and i looked at him and i looked at the deputy and said yep those are the red and green circle boxers that's him yeah that's him he'd stashed his t-shirt stashed his baggy pants and is wearing those black shorts and he thought he could get away but you can change your outside all you want but it's what's underneath that'll give you a way it's what underneath that you can't change without some help and so hey i want everything changed so next picture next picture if you guys can and there is the suspect getting arrested and he was a parolee and parole violation he was going back to prison but there is the boxers you can see them in the picture his underwear gave him away i bet you that night he was wishing he would have listened to me and taken the opportunity to give the bike back because now he's on his way back to prison somewhere because the bike he stole was twelve thousand dollars so i was able to recover the bicycle we got the bicycle recovered go back to that first picture and uh there is myself and dave the dave is the owner of the bicycle that black bicycle and the picture is a canyon sl6 a 12 000 bike and i had no idea what i was doing i had no idea they just happened i wasn't even thinking it just happened and this friday dave wants to meet with me and get together and i believe that god allowed that to happen just for this man right here and so you may not know exactly what you're doing in the middle of the situation but if you'll just let god lead you and i gotta tell you it was the lord leading me because like i said i've never done anything like that in my life i've never been a witness before in my life i've never helped somebody get arrested before in my life i've never been on a hot pursuit on my bicycle in my life ever i never felt like i was more part of the police academy than ever before we had the purity conference friday night and jason last the question he says are you a cop not knowing the story or anything well yes i am how'd you know [Applause] civilian arrest here we go but i just sat there waited and let the pd do what they do best and they got the assailant we got the bike back but truthfully the thought that i got out of that was you see he changed everything to change his appearance change his appearance so he wouldn't get caught and i didn't recognize him but it was the one thing underneath that he did not change that got him caught the one thing underneath that nobody sees the one thing that's vain it's all about me my vain labor my vain purpose my vain goals it's the underneath that gets you caught so i don't want to just have the outside of my appearance change and the way i present myself to the world but i want the inside of myself and how i present myself to jesus to change because i'll be honest with you and truthful with you it's not the way that you present yourself to the world that determines who you are and where you will spend eternity but it comes down to how you present yourself to jesus how you present yourself to jesus because i can have all this together and it looks good to you but just because it looks good to you doesn't mean it's good because ultimately it's jesus who sees underneath it's jesus who sees underneath so today the challenge of the family is this whatever you do don't let it be your vain labor but let it be your god labor okay because seriously everything that we do in our life should somehow connect to jesus the bible tells us to do everything whatever we do as we do it unto the lord do it in jesus name that's one of the reasons why we get baptized in jesus name because jesus told us whatever we do do it in his name so we get baptized in jesus name of course he even told us and the apostles gave the example and everybody that got baptized in the bible got baptized in jesus name but the lord tells us to always do things in his name so if i need help cleansing out my inside and changing what's underneath i cannot do it without the help of the lord and his holy spirit helps me change the underneath his holy spirit gets inside of my life and begins to change me from the inside and begin to move in me so i can do this and i can step into relationship by baptism and holy ghost and feeling and god can begin to change what's underneath and in the process the outside will get changed god will help me be a presentation of his love to the world around me amen let's all stand today in this place amen i'm going to pray a dismissal prayer and we're going to go out and enjoy the festivities but a sister debbie bryant brother jesse can you all come forward and um sister debbie whoever is already a part of your ultra working team we have an ultra working seminar coming up september 18th so this team can grow but if you want the holy ghost today i cannot rob you of the opportunity to receive god's spirit in your life and if you want help changing that underneath the holy ghost gives you the power to do god's will and change what's underneath it's the power that helps you experience true transformation and so if you've never received the holy ghost before and you want the holy ghost you want god to enter into your life and bring forth that underneath transformation these people up here will pray with you they're gifted and helping people seek after the holy ghost they will lead you through the process and by the end of this day according to god's purpose you will have god's spirit inside of your heart amen at the closing and when i pray you're welcome to come forward if you want the holy ghost if you want to get baptized today we can baptize you in jesus name for the remission of sins let's pray lord in jesus name right now god lord i pray over this family jesus god i pray peace over this family jesus uh lord god thank you jesus for helping us change what's underneath god thank you lord for helping us jesus change what's underneath god lord that lord whatever i do is not vain jesus lord self-exalting and lifting myself up but god bringing you glory in all that i do jesus lord what i do for you god is not in vain god when you place us in situations lord let your glory fall flow through us jesus lord god when you put us into situations give us the words give us the thoughts give us the direction jesus lord god as you lead and guide us jesus move us where you need us to be god help us to bring transformation to the world around us lord making impact in lives lord that we're connected to jesus lord right now in jesus name god we pray we pray god that you'll reach us god lord help us jesus help us lord change my inside change my inside god lord i don't want to just look the part i want to be the part oh thank you lord for having your way today thank you lord for having your way in this family thank you god for moving in this place thank you god for a great day of fun and fellowship today god and i pray so that your spirit lord will be lifted in this family today through fellowship mighty god i pray new relationships be built but i pray for new connectivity god to be connected in us and through us with each other jesus thank you god for having your way today as we enjoy your presence together of jesus we give you praise we give you honor we give you glory in jesus name in jesus name this altar is open if you want to pray otherwise you're dismissed the summer festival if you want the holy ghost you can come forward we'll pray for you in jesus name believing for the holy ghost and filling oh thank you jesus thank you jesus you need some more work on that inside you can
