Heavenly Father we rejoice we thank you that this morning we have these are not opportunity to come before your holy word so we come before your word humbly we come before your word respectfully we're coming for your word with excitement and expectation and we rejoice that we are expecting to receive revelation knowledge o God a decree that veils full of your people have built up edified equipped and Jesus is glorified thank you not by the end of this service nobody lives here the same way we came we give you praise and glory for answered prayer in Jesus precious name and every believer sees a powerful amen lift your right hands to heaven let's release our feet to get out you say these words I am born of God I am born of the world the Word of God is my nature I do not struggle to do the world I do the world naturally therefore today I will understand the word of His grace and will be built up by the end of this service I will never be the same never ever be the same again in Jesus on the believers realities in Christ are you excited to be here this morning can we give the Lord Jesus a great shout in the building glory hallelujah you can be seated with your Suites much of glory to God let's get in the world in the first service this morning I began to look at our realities in Christ Jesus a series that our study teaching from last Wednesday now please listen very carefully if you don't want to know the truth if you don't want to know the truth about the gospel and about Jesus and about heaven please stop listening to me right now because what I'm gonna be teaching now is going to destroy a lot of mindsets it's going to go against a lot of religious things that have been taught that are not in the Bible so if you don't want to know the truth this is a time to shut me out quickly because if you listen to me in this service is going to alter a lot of things you have believed before that you taught where in the Bible but we're never in the Bible and the first service has said just because something is popular doesn't make it the truth that everybody is doing it doesn't mean it is right after all in Kadesh Barnea in 11 or 12 spies were sent to spy the land we have that reveals God to us and reveals us to us concerning God there is no other material that is called secret the Bible is called heroes grammar sacred material all set apart writings because it is the only book that we have to know about God and what God says so if you are playing with the Bible you have set up yourself for religious deception if you're playing with your Bible you have just set up yourself to be deceived and used and abused you cannot afford to play with the Bible and you cannot afford to play with the right interpretation there is a right interpretation of the Scriptures and when the Scriptures are not well interpreted a truth is lost when the scriptures are not well interpreted the truth or a truth is lost a vital part of Bible interpretation what we call the science of Bible interpretation or hermeneutics and teaching is the ability to give a defense to give an answer or to answer issues and controversies that arise in the explanation of subjects that are discussed in the Bible so in Bible study or in Bible teaching the job of a Bible teacher is to ensure that he upholds the integrity of the scriptures at no point must a Bible teacher attempt to deviate from what already has been written to extra biblical sources such as experiences this is how I see it the way I see it you are not permitted to have the way you see it in the Bible no you are not permitted because you're not a writer the job of a Bible teacher and the job of the believer is not to see it the way I see it is to go into the mind of the writer to see what was in the mind of the writer and understand the Bible from the mind of the writer because the Bible can never mean today what it never meant when it was first written I repeat the Bible can never mean today what it never meant when it was first written so the job of a Bible teacher or a good Bible student is to go into the mind of the Scriptures because the Bible is a piece of literature therefore the rules of literature applies in reading understanding and interpreting the text of the Bible so you cannot subject the Bible to experiences opinions or feelings how I feel no we don't teach Bible based on feelings your feelings are not needed in Bible teaching because the Bible is not about your feelings the Bible is the message of Christ a key factor understand and be assured of in Bible study is that the Bible does not contradict itself the Bible does not contradict itself there is a perfect harmony to everything in the Bible but when there seems to be contradictions such seeming contradictions are in the mind of the reader the seeming contradictions are in the mind of the reader and not from the Bible a lackadaisical or a lazy or a haphazard approach the Bible study is the model of confusions and the model of contentions or controversies which leads to false teachings and renewals practices where there seems to be a contention on a subject matter keeping that ought to be considered or the ought to be determined and number one is it's written in the books of the Bible that controversy can we find where it is written in black and white in the books of the Bible that is the subject matter it is safe to say that there will be no use examining something that is not written or taught in the Bible is of no use to examine it because it's not even accommodated in the text of the Bible if it was written how was it explained it's not enough to know that something was written for example you read the Bible you see something like love not the world none of the things that are in the world if any man loves the world the love of the father is not in him you read the Bible again you see things like friendship with the world is enmity with God a friend of the world is an enemy of God now you read the same Bible he says for God so loved the world but he says you should love the world but he is loving the world that seems to be like a contradiction but there's no contradiction there then he also read some Isis you go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature so now it will take care full Bible study to see that there is no contradiction when he says not not the world the world world there in the Greek is the world errands errands errands means the world's way of thinking when he says for God so loved the world the word world in God love in the world is the word cosmos in the Greek cosmos way of the cosmopolitan so God loves the cosmopolitan where human beings are but you do not love the way the man that is not born again things so it will take Bible teaching for you to come to a place of appreciating that there is no contradiction in the Bible if there's any contradiction at all it only exists within the figment of your understanding or the frequent of your of your mind then they taught him to find out the thought in to find out is is it practical now before I go into is it practical there is need to go a step forward hadn't seen it was written in the Bible to examine how it was explained it's not just enough to say that error in the Bible God kill it and God make it alive God kill it and God make it alive it is written yes it is written but what was the explanation to that statement first of all the statement was not made by God or by a prophet it was made by a woman when she had the blessing of a we just mentioned the next thing is to determine if it is what is being taught or explained on that subject matter if it is practical if it is seen in the Bible or practicable in Christian living opposed to Paul addressed our mind to sell and facts every minister of the gospel and every believer must be a attention to and also learn from the book of first Peter chapter three verse number 15 thus Peter chapter 3 verse number 15 but sanctify the Lord in your hearts and be ready always to give an answer if your Bible was mine I will underline an answer to every man always to give an answer to every man that except you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear be always ready to give an answer the word answer was translated from the Greek word apologia it is spelled as AP o el GI a apologia which implies a defence an answer to an opponent apologia is a defense or an answer to an opponent the surface we touch of the three verse 15 in the english standard version it says always to make a defense always prepared to make a defense in first Peter chapter 3 verse 15 the way Mountain New Testament translation of nineteen twelve is always ready to make your defense scriptures good for your health 2nd Timothy 4:16 at my first answer no man stood with me but all men forsook me at my face answer apologia or defense all right so observe closely in the different context of how the word apologia was used it was used as a defense and answer Paul emphatically use it in Philippians 1 7 it says in the defence and confirmation of the gospel so the Bible teacher must be diligent with and very detailed in his analysis of Bible text you must be detailed sometimes when I teach it can get very laborious and it can be so painstaking but that is the only way to understand the Scriptures God doesn't want to be a mystery anymore so God became a man in the person of Jesus walk the face of the earth as a man so that man can know God in Christ then he died and rose and gave us 66 books to know him if you don't know God is by choice and if anybody takes advantage of you and deceives you in the name of God it is your choice because you have a volume of 66 books that unveils God to you clearly and everybody has a copy of that book and everybody have access to the teaching of God's Word just like you're here in this morning now so it's very important the Bible teacher has the responsibility to ensure that the purity and sanctity of the message of the Bible is upheld he must be analytical and never be in a hurry or attempt to gloss over details I do not gloss over details you know some time ago somebody asked me one of our leaders and somebody said she should ask me why don't you a pastor just summarize it must we go through all the nitty gritties that's Bible teaching the moment you start summarizing Bible teaching you are raising a generation of lazy Kristin's there is no laziness to your relationship with God which is eternal you must make up your mind to be a student and you must be studious very intentionally studios so you know got to a point where you relate effectively with God where you're confident in God and where nobody can just rub things on you that don't belong to you ignorance is so expensive a lot of people have gone into a kinds of mess because they have refused to settle down and be taught the Word of God properly there is a teaching of God's Word and a standard teaching of God's Word that must be observed please pay attention now look at look at this instance here whenever Bible the Bible is taught or whenever you read the Bible there is carefulness in paying attention to details you don't gloss over facts you don't because if you gloss over a fact a word or a preposition in a text can change the entire meaning of attacks if it just means a preposition or a word or a phrase if you just miss it it can change the entire you know the entire construction or meaning of that text so that's why a good student of the Bible and a believer and a good Bible teacher or preacher must pay attention to the details for example John chapter 3 verse 3 pay attention John chapter 3 verse 3 to 8 jesus answered and said unto Him verily verily say unto thee except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God next verse Nicodemus said to him how can a man be born when he is old can he enter the second time into his mother's womb and be born x-mas jesus answered verily verily I say unto thee except a man be born of water and of the spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God next verse now which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit next verse Marvel not that I said unto thee you must be born again next verse the wind bloweth where it listeth and now here is a sound thereof but canst not tell whence it cometh and whither it goeth so is every one that is born of the Spirit now careless reading careless reading will can make you think that Jesus spoke about two different kinds of God that is being born of water which is different from being born of the Spirit you will arrive at that conclusion because you're reading the Bible carelessly however upon a detailed analysis of the text the following can be observed number one the article the TEG used by the author John was used before the word spirit the spirit only and not before the word water so there is no D water but there is this spirit born of water and of the spirit all right so that word there of the Spirit there is very very important number two born of the Spirit is mentioned twice in verse six and seven showing you emphasis of being born of the Spirit he didn't mention born of water again he only mentioned that once number three the word spirit used four times in that text was more emphasized in context than the word water use just once number four the word off before the spirit born of the Spirit born off before the spirit is italicized it implies it was not in the original manuscript it was just added by the privilege of translators so the absence of the word off indicates the maker of the statement which was Jesus was not discussing two elements but one so the word and translated from the Greek word kai there is what we called a chi rule of Bible interpretation which is in the Greek lexicon can either be used as a conjunction or a further explanation in this context the role it plays is explanatory and not as a conjunction so the implication is that the substantive in the case is the spirit which is preceded by the definite article des is explained by the other substantive which is water which precedes the caplet Eve or the Chi rule so from John three verse five it can better the understood us except a man be born of water that is or which is the spirit born of water which is the spirit in essence Jesus was teaching being born of the Spirit however he use water figuratively in his explanation so that's why he stated categorically in the preceding verses how he was using everything's water to explain heavenly things being born of the Spirit now come with me to John chapter 3 verse 12 John chapter 3 verse number 12 if I have told you earthly things and you believe not how shall you believe if I tell you of heavenly things Jesus in context clearly was not teaching or imposing water baptism rather water in this context was figuratively use figuratively use collaboratively a similar expression will be seen in John 7:37 John chapter 7 verse 37 in the last day that great day of the feast Jesus stood and cried saying if any man thirst let him come unto me and drink that he ate that it he that believeth on me as the scripture has said out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water now to show you that the water is figurative look at verse 39 now in context but this spake he of the Spirit so the water was the spirit that was being communicated in figure of speech which they that believe on him shall receive for the Holy Ghost was not yet given because that Jesus was not yet glorified a perfect example of proper Bible study is seen where Jesus taught for 40 days in Luke chapter 24 that is a proper Bible study notice Jesus's explanation in John 3:12 in context of heavenly things heavenly things was in reference to being born again born anew born of the Spirit born of God or receiving salvation or what we call the indwelling of the Spirit or eternal life of salvation all of those are adjectives to explain what Jesus meant by heavenly things the phrase heavenly things was translated from a Greek word hello please take note of this this very crucial that word heavenly was translated from a Greek word you for Aeneas you can write down it P or you are a an iOS app or on you for any about is not an earthly father is an immaterial father that is it's not a father you can hole and grab with your material hand he says father but he is in the immaterial realm all right so it's important to know how the word heaven is always used in the Bible and I've been dealing with this since when as they toss they infest service and I'm not going to go over I'm just gonna proceed from so officials 1 3 doesn't have places is not in the original it is heavenlies now there's another word they are called spiritual spiritual blessings the word spiritual was translated from a Greek word to the riches of His grace so the forgiveness of sin is one of those blessings in verse 11 of Ephesians chapter one verse 11 of efficience one in whom also we have obtained an inheritance being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his will that is another blessing that we have obtained an inheritance verse 13 of the same chapter one of Ephesians in whom also you trusted after that you heard the word of truth the gospel of your salvation in whom also after that you believed you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise so you're sealed with the Holy Spirit is another blessing you have in Christ and it continues to explain officials of the two verse six Ephesians chapter 2 verse number 6 and as raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly in Christ Jesus so when Jesus raised us up from the dead which is spiritual death and gave us eternal life and made us sit together with him in heaven right now that is a blessing so heaven is not at last heaven is our reality in Christ right now we are not praying to make heaven the day you receive Jesus all of heaven came on your inside so right now you are in heaven as a reality in Christ well yeah people say my plan that will make it Romek who will make heaven Allah they don't know the Bible there's no such thing in the Bible no opposed to pray that prayer you won't find that context anywhere is just people out of guilt and people out of sin consciousness who coined that statement and it it is doctrinally wrong there's no such prayer they tell you receive heavenly above the skies he didn't say heavenly somewhere in the blue you know so my something lit up so we're beyond a blues beyond the blues somewhere there's no such in the Bible the heavenly is not a geographical location the heaven is a reality you come into in Christ pay attention heavenly in Christ's heavenly in Christ so now Paul was explaining the fact that the believer by identification which is faith in the gospel was raised together and met to sit together with Christ and this is heavily or this is spiritual which is immaterial now look at officials of the three on to the Father we both have access by one spirit so when he said the whole family in heaven he was referring to a spiritual reality which is one of the realities or spiritual blessings that we have in Christ remember John chapter 3 verse 1 if I tell you heavenly things heavenly things all right now observe Jesus his words in John chapter 3 verse 13 John chapter 3 verse 13 pay attention and no man had ascended up to heaven but he that came down from heaven observe even the Son of Man which is in heaven not which was which is what Jesus oh say knees I am in heaven at the same time I am on it I'm operating heaven 8 and that's the way the believer operates immortality mortality immortality mortality no man has ascended except the son of man which is this is the same as John's explanation earlier in John 1:14 observe John 1:14 Jacques Allahabad and the world was made flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory the glory as of the only begotten of the Father full of grace and truth Oh full of grace that is the truth Paul taught the same truth concerning Jesus Jesus is humanity that Jesus became flesh so Jesus is God that God who became a man for the purpose of saving man so Jesus is God in humanity 100% a man as though not God and 100% God as though not man so Jesus is God man the believer is immortality mortality see that's about reality that's what you came into when you got born again that's your reality that is your reality now pay attention 1st Corinthians 15 47 thank you Lord Jesus the first man is of the earth earthy the second man is the Lord from heaven from the immaterial the Lord from heaven James also added in James chapter 1 verse 17 pay attention James 1:17 same thing James spoke about it every good gift and every perfect gift is from above above and cometh down from the Father of lights with whom is no variableness neither shadow of turning therefore the statement ba he that came down from heaven was what John explained earlier in John chapter 1 verse 14 and the Word was made flesh and dwelt the word dwells among us listen carefully in Christianity we don't go to God other religions are trying to go to God they are working hard to go to God in Christianity we don't go to God because man cannot go to God so God has come to us in the person of Jesus in Christianity God has come to us we don't go to him you can't even find him God created both man and everything so man cannot discover God there's no way you can discover God only God can reveal himself to you that is why God must be revealed you can know God by calculation you know God by revelation and the revelation of God can only be accessed in a passing his name is Jesus jesus said no man can come to the Father except by me so Jesus is the exclusive custodian of the Father and Jesus is the sole Revilla of the Father he reveals the father and the father reveals the song and the believer can only come to that revelation by seeing God in the person of Christ if you can't see God in Christ you will never know God because God cannot be known outside Jesus because outside Jesus there is no God anywhere you didn't hear that outside Jesus there is no God anywhere God is only found in the person of Jesus now pay attention another scripture quickly therefore before I read a scripture God who is a spirit John 4:24 God who is a spirit became a man was made flesh the only begotten of the father in John 1:18 no man has seen God at any time the only begotten Son which is in the bosom of the Father he had declared him John 3:16 for God so loved the world that he that is only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life so God who is a spirit in John 4:24 became a man was made flesh the begotten only of the father so clearly this explains why Jesus said concerning himself the Son of Man which is in heaven why the father dwells in Jesus how do we know that John 14 10 John chapter 14 verse number 10 believers now know that I am in the father and the father in me the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself but the father that dwelleth in me he doeth the works the father dwells in Jesus however upon Jesus's resurrection from the dead he brought many songs his nor mother only begotten now he has brought many sons unto glory hebrews chapter 2 verse 10 hebrews chapter 2 verse number 10 for it became him for whom are all things and by whom are all things in bringing many sons unto glory to make the captain of their salvation perfect through suffering so Jesus has brought songs and brought a poor call those songs the family of God in heaven underneath that is our union with God in Christ our union as his children as his family and that is a spiritual reality in this family god abides in all
