Good evening Chemical Apes and welcome to
another guide for Subnautica. So for this one, I'm gonna be showing you where to
locate the nickel ore within the game. Now it is quite a rarity, it's all they
found in one biome, The Lost River. The lost rivers made up of multiple sub
biomes and there's only so many sub biomes that you're gonna find this. So,
what do we need to go and where do we need to start from? We are currently at the
coral tubes, which is near to the Aurora. If you start from here I can give you
the exact distance and direction to get to the first point. There is another
set over there! Please don't start from there, start from here. And like I said it
will allow me to give you that distance. Right distance, right direction.
We're going to be going two and a half clicks left *sorry!
Two and a half clicks left of West and we're going to be doing this in the seamoth. Now what we're gonna need for this? We're gonna need the depth module MK 3
for the Seamoth. We're going to be going 900 meters plus deep down. Yes!
We gonna need... ideally the perimeter defense system. If you haven't got it don't worry
about it you will need certain and the reinforced diving suits ultra high
capacity sank and ideal it the rebreather finally a fresh pair of
Underpants put but yeah seriously guys now this place is pretty creepy it's
probably the most creepiest biome in the whole of subnautica but let's do it okay
so now this location can be reached with the Cyclops you're not going to be able
to go down in the Cyclops you can do the rest in the prawn suit now as I'm
guessing you're searching for nickel ore you've not come across it as of yet hence best to use to Seemoth first and
then maybe revisit it with the Prawn Suit if you need more. Now we only need thirteen
I think it's 13 pieces in total! of Nickel Ore to create everything required
within the Subnautica game. Now these two locations effectively should give you
the 14. But there are other locations within the Lost River okay so we like I
say two and a half clicks left and west you've got to be careful where you go
with this one you got too far right you'll end up in the dunes and you'll
go slap, bang head-on with a Reaper! But it's not too difficult to miss!
So what you can see here, 740 meters from the starting point or give or take.
Yep, 740... is this channel here. Now this is the blood Kelp Channel.
Sorry "trench" if you like. So is thin. It takes one long path and away you go!
What we're going to find down here our Warpers, Crabsquid,
Amp Eels, River prowlers and possibly a ghost Leviathan juvenile.
Now if you keep to the course I'm showing you you should have it's not
always guaranteed but you should have minimal impacts with these guys what do
you stick close okay so we're now in the Blood Kelp Trench and we're going to be
a right and it's gonna face foot keep heading right
until we reach a wreckage which is further down which I believe is about
600 meters down okay so here we go this is the point. Warpers! Got to be careful
that they don't zap you out. And if they do, just give them a whack with the knife. So
this is the wreckage that gonna come across if you're taking the right path,
followed this video and it's around about 600 meters. So we're just gonna keep
venturing ignore that base but is actually mine that I built it's gonna
read effectively we have two ways now from this wreckage point so the wreckage
is there slightly above us we can either go South East! It is very, very
difficult so we're either gonna go South East or we're gonna follow this
river. So on this note... we're gonna follow the river.
It's really easy to find. Now this stuff is poisonous so you're not gonna be able to
go into it with out the Prawn suit however you're not gonna need so awful so do
follow this keep following it now as I mentioned there are multiple sub biomes
within this Lost River keeps our left because right this moment is gonna be
the boneyard I believe Boneyard initial first room as
your first Crabsquid gets too close just give them all was with the premise
of the phone system get out of town I don't flip disable the
seem off the attack just march on so once it comes to this place keep on the
left-hand-side lots of lots of stuff around here like I say you will want to
sort of come down this way and look at it a little bit more a lot of resource
come down with a prawn suit by all means but I do advise having the jet pack and
you're gonna need that nickel ore for that so here we go guys keep on keep on
it on the left-hand side and just keep on going okay so now they seize the main corridor
it's effectively were a lot of the paths to different entrances lead
but we're going to go down here down this location this is the cold tree sub
biome now the beauty of this you've got to be careful obviously your Seammoth
can only go 900 metres left left keep in the beauty of this reinforce dive in see
the temperatures pretty intense but you can actually swim within this so what
you're gonna find around here it's hopefully quite a lot of Nickel ore.
Now bearing in mind, like I said there's your first one! You're only going to need Second! You're only going to need
effectively 14, 13, 14 pieces for everything in the game that's required and I believe this is a place to do so as you can see quite a lot of stuff this
is a really real estate biome and do by all means go underneath and it's just
pretty much endless small deposits of nickel ah so that's it guys so I'm now
going to take it to the second location and I'll see you in two! Okay guys so we're
now back at the wreckage / start of the Lost River just within the blood
kelp trench so with 600 meters down we're just backtrack slightly from the
wreckage which we can find here is we want to be going southeast so what
you're gonna see there is just an opening now you can always use sonar
which gives you a bit of an indication as well
now this location is particularly useful if you have got the Prawn Suit and you
want to sort of delve down and get more deposits so you've not got enough
deposits so this green stuff here is poisonous the green brine it's cold so
don't do this in the sea glider but you can do it and see them off initially
let's have a look at it so that there is a nickel ore deposit
that will give you a lot of nickel larger deposits around here usually
within this skeletal structure you can find some refining it maybe not on this
occasion but there are lots of large large deposits around here guys so do
you bring that prawn see that drill arm and
you should have luck. So i hope you enjoyed the video guys remember! Subscribe, like,
comment! That's it ...ciao for now! Bye bye
