[Music] hey everybody yeah that's me again and I've got another one for you you remember I told you last time that we did these Hobby Lobby tags oh by the way you can also pick him up at Michaels I got him last year from Michaels this year from Hobby Lobby I told you the last time we did these that I had another way this one just might blow your mind let me show you this one real quick I've already got this one prepped and ready to go so I'm just going to show you my dirty place again I'm just gonna go ahead and pick an image down there good I print out the image on these and 2.6 inches wide by four point one inches tall that gives you plenty of room for a bleed only use one little piece of tape and then we go to the press I've got my press set at 350 degrees go ahead and change that time and I want it set at 90 seconds lady okay love this hotronix press thank you all from my group sublimation templates and designs and all things printable or blessing me with such a beautiful piece of equipment all right lay down on there I'm doing it with the image on top make sure you use your cover sheet and we're gonna press for 90 seconds not a medium pressure it's a number three on the fusion okay our time is about up [Music] transfer this over to my cooling area wish I could afford to pay a camera man but oh well I do okay by myself all right this is using my new method again we'll see here yeah what you think pretty darn gorgeous I'd say I'm sure you're all are dying to find out what it is that I've done to these to make them accept the ink so beautifully well I've kept this secret for almost a year not knowing just how to tell you all about it but had a laminate almost all laminate is polyester film tada mind blown and what I do is I use my little laminating machine and I bought a big roll about two big rolls of laminate paper or laminate film and let me cut a piece of it and I'll show you how I do it when you cut your film you need to make sure that it's cut as straight as possible so that when you fold it over on the tag it it matches up when you fold it over because if you run it through the machine with part of the adhesive side exposed it'll hang up in the machine and machine doesn't like it it's not that big a deal it will come out and it's not that bad but the machine does not like it so I just fold it over and then you want to try to get that as close to lined up as you can and hold it as tight as you can so that the bottom edge is good and tight then we move to the laminate machine okay here we are it's actually has turned itself on let's get back up it's got a two settings a three mil and a five mil and since we're this is this is the three mil laminate sheet but it's going through thick because of the metal so we're gonna call it five mil and let's let that heat up okay a little blue lights on that means we're ready to go and you want to make sure that you put it in the folded side down get it just as tight and even as you can just takes a couple of seconds for it to go through now you see this one's gonna be mean to me and it gives me that messy mess the other side's not too bad down to the three mil and see if it'll straighten up any if not we can do it here and it will still work got one good side okay let's try another one really usually don't have much trouble at all with this this time I heeded that just run it through by itself and heated it up first so it's not being cold metal okay got it pulled pretty tight even up getting kind of the same thing it'll still sublimate and I don't think it's gonna make that much difference but they usually come out much cleaner looking than this it doesn't hurt to run it through two or three times flip it over turn it sideways whatever you need to do then we trim up and we sublimate I'm actually going to trim this one that has the obvious mess up to it just to see how well the image takes to it it's basically quick trim I know y'all have noticed it's not on my wrist nothing to be concerned about is a ganglion cyst head doctors look at it I had a friend of mine who's a surgeon take a look at it he told me yes we can take it off but it's a ganglion cyst it'll just come back so I figured well it's not bothering me it doesn't hurt I'm not going to worry about it alright let's take another image we ready to go and we'll go back to the press and do like I said 350 or 90 seconds a sheet moving around in the background I think I've got ghosts 350 for 90 seconds almost ready now remember this is the one that had kind of a little swirl through it where it looked like like it didn't laminate good we'll see what what that does to the image I really don't think it's going to make that big of a difference over to my cooling table and yes I do use my heat gloves y'all sent me I just don't use them a lot I use them for mugs tiles and things that are a little bulkier and it stay hot really hot okay this these are really don't need them for as you can see it didn't really what looked like it wasn't laminated good didn't really do anything to ruin the image let's put this down see if you think it's hard to get a picture in here without shadows there you go that's pretty good so don't worry about the little swirly spots in the laminate when it goes through the machine because it really doesn't make a difference it fixes itself in the heat press oops that's a piece of tape so anyway looks really nice you get a lot of metallic look to everything you still get a little bit of the the pattern of the galvanized look now you can also do this on the heat press and see got another piece okay here's another one got my lamb it cut on the heat press and I'm going to take just a little piece of tape heat tape and go right there on the top fold over just keep that closed because it's gonna want to try to open up use this one always protect your press as you can see sometimes forget and still at 350 but this time I'm only going to do about 15 seconds okay now immediately rub that thing down hold on okay heat globe would come in handy that's hot if you can rub it down or if you have a a brayer roller that would work really good I see still works just doesn't get quite as smooth as as the laminator does but it's but it does work so if you don't want to go spin the 20 bucks on the laminator you can do it in the heat press - you can also order laminate that is made for the heat press let me trim this one up and I'll show you how to how it presses okay another design metal down and before you even ask I have tried this on glass and know it's it's really hard to get eat it without buckles for some reason the glass just doesn't doesn't seem to work one day I'm a perfect it but until then here we go again at 350 degrees 90 seconds pressure o3o hotronix fusion remember this one was done laminated in the heat press [Music] cooling table got one more after this to show you cool off buddy cool off so it's hard to get this without reflections and shadows but I think you can see it does a pretty fine job now it's something else you can do you really really want the white this one I paint it and then laminate it one sides regular one sides white I suggest with this metal that you get something like this this is a engine paint you get it at the auto parts store I think I picked this one up at O'Reilly's I believe it's a little expensive it's probably about six or eight dollars a can versus the two or three dollar I can regular spray paint but it's not bad there's quite a gate in there and you can do a lot of tags with it but this one gives you the white white that a lot of people are looking for you don't want that that metal look to go through let's press this one okay here's the last one oh you can hear the dogs in the background they know they get there five o'clock Crete so you hear mom yelling it's five o'clock somewhere and the dogs responding that one is with the white spray if you don't like the glossy all you gotta do is get you a can of about matte finish and spray it with that and it'll it'll take care of glossiness no problem but but the high heat white doesn't scorch or anything so it works really good whenever you want to do this plus it adheres to metal really well it's made for an engine so go figure alright guys that's it let's see if the flying all four these up to show ya anyway there you go all four of them they come out really nice it's really easy now I've done the ones that I did here are with you roll stuff but I've also done them with this and it works just as good this is just a little bit thicker it says three mil - but I believe it's a little thicker anyway folks there you go always remember to Like comment share subscribe all those neat YouTube terms so so next time y'all just remember think outside the box it's more fun out there [Music]
