hello everybody I'm sneaky today we are in Shinjuku one of our favorite places in this city it's also a great place to walk around especially if you love shopping but what do you do if you get hungry after all that sightseeing or if you need something light to tide you over before a dinner time well today we're gonna show you guys some of our favorite places for snacking let's go so first place is happy lemon it is located the Shinjuku West exit and also its next of Ko departmental store and I got salty cheese you don't see this is Tokyo limited product but the surface is cream cheese isn't it amazing on top of Mt yes Sora teaches it's they added the rock salt on top so it is a little bit too salty that's good it matches with this cream cheese okay I will drink that tea at the bottom Thank You mas flavorful so finally what you have to do is you have to mix this up together so I'm just gonna shake it up like this so that the salted cheese and the oolong tea gets all combined together so here we go oh it's so good who would have thought salted cheese and although tea would go so well together it's kind of like drinking um it's kind of like salted caramel there's like salted caramel and milk tea or something like that and you guys know how much I love milk tea this is kind of like that but maybe with long so isn't that great it's great right aren't you glad you know about it now huh oh my god this is like one of the best milky tea drinks I've had in my life totally recommended now we're gonna walk over to our next spot man this is a perfect day to film because we are starving there are many Baker's here in Tokyo especially in Shinjuku but this is one of my favorite bakeries and it's been around ever since I moved back here in Japan the bakery is called Haku this particular branch is right next to Shinjuku Station and it's right across from southern Terrace and I got two things two of my favorites and this one right here is called the Kentucky and curry bread and basically it is a Kentucky moment which is this red bean and it also has some chestnuts inside this bread I'm gonna break this in half and show you guys how fluffy it is this is some of the best bread you're going to have and if you like beans and chestnut you are going to love love this Thank You Moz [Music] hmm not just 9mm got subtle sweetness of the chestnut and the texture of the chestnuts Khan liked sweet potatoes mmm it's so good the bread is a little bit flaky on the outside so fluffy on the inside a little bit sweet like Japanese bread should be that beam right there my mother loves this particular beam kintoki mama mom check it out I wish you were here to enjoy this with me Shinichi bow to me a hash to the positive Crossin can you see this is Qasim I've never seen this kind of croissant look the backside is like this hmm I understand it's Casa but that top is hash - potato very very interesting itadakimasu Oh hmm cheesy hmm put it away and I maybe them capacity and top it has a nice flavor bread is chewy not so socket Oracle regular callosum it's not dense if this is warm it is much much more delicious I think the next stop is bare Sugar Shack is located the next of shinjuku station south exit and the next all flags building i bought hot oak a pancake look it's interesting idea there are many dollar Pantera sized pancake this is custard cream apple compote Cherokee mas oh look this cute pancake on whipped cream cinnamon gameís mmm now it's tasty apple flavor pancake is really fluffy and the texture oh I found the butter frybo it's nice little bit Authority nice saltiness of butter the fermented butter flavor it's a good point of this job and we wanna eat apple compote mmm still retain the crispiness of the Apple and that's sugar-free Bob it's really good okey-dokey so we just had those pancakes those pictures were actually really nice I really liked them a lot the great thing about Tokyo is that there are tons of choices I mean there are so many restaurants even just in shinjuku guys there are so many places to eat here is it's just so hard to choose for example if you guys like ramen Shinjuku is one of the best places to be there are over 200 ramen shops just in Shinjuku which is why the ramen here is pretty awesome but today it's all about snacking and I hope you guys can see that there are a lot of snack options as well we got to go for something more traditional I think I'm gonna take you guys to probably the best place to get dangle this is my mother's favorite place for dongle I'm gonna go there right now here we are oil walk a jungle where I consider to have the best dongle in the entire city and what and like I said like I mentioned this is my mother's favorite place she swears by this place so if you guys like dango you definitely have to check this place out they have a wide variety of jungle from sweet to savory you can also eat on the inside they have a pretty nice menu of traditional Japanese savory and sweet items so the first item I got is the shimmy Tolga Rasheed uncle so this is basically a dango basted in soy sauce and cover with Jimmy togarashi which is Japanese chili oh well this one has a little bit of Sun shot Sun Shore pepper am it actually has quite a kick it is a little bit spicy hmm but it has so much flavor in here because the steamy togarashi which are which are created by blending seven different herbs and so this is very very complex and taste the soy sauce is not that salty I like this a lot I've never seen this one before maybe because I don't come here during the winter but it is strawberry season here in Japan and here we have a strawberry uncle dung go look at that you see the dung go on the bottom these are the the mochi and this is that that beautiful smooth uncle pace and we have one whole strawberry here - strawberry halves right on top like mas mmm well that strawberry is so juicy and sweet once again look at that texture of the mochi it is so soft it's perfect mochi and the smoothness of that red bean paste it's just the right sweetness not too sweet it goes so well with that little bit of tartness of the strawberry how's the steamy togarashi spicy as Liam it's pretty spicy right how's the strawberry sweet sweet right that very nice combination hopefully decide yeah that's Tim you told that I should want it is kind of spicy so if you don't do to always spice maybe avoid that one just get the regular show you don't go it is in the middle of the winter right now so you have done goal you have things like hot noodles for the regular menu but if you come here during the summertime it's great for category they have like the best category in that in the entire city in my opinion so far I haven't had better category than the ones that you get here these are my favorite really sweet the strawberry okay guys so right now we are walking inside Kabukicho cabbage kabukicho is a major red light / entertainment district here in Tokyo a lot of tourists come here it is a tourist destination a lot of good places to eat a lot of good things to see and there's a nice movie theater called Toho cinema one of my favorite theaters and most people when they come here especially tourists they love the Godzilla on top of the building that's the building with Godzilla peeking out you guys see Casilla up there next we're at kavik show Ginga calm this shop is located under the Godzilla today I bought this six pours of takoyaki it is called nagito this is interesting attack working regularly we eat takoyaki as eight years but in this case look this is tend to you the soup or dipping soup or the tempura and it's a grated daikon radish so it means dip this aqua keyboard into this super identity interesting open this temp to you super oh okay it's really template super and this is grated radish mixing the tempura soup okay so that must take one ball with the green onion Japanese Negi and the deeply into this soup Olli sorry I like this soup dipping stock room dumbass it's tasty Japanese and them that way key is a heart the soup is called difference he over this temperature it makes it that mystic we get much more fun look this piece over octopus nice chunky octopus and outside is really socket oh really crispy and inside brackets - Laurine smooth soft you want to eat I know you want to it oh this looks so amazing guys the outside is so crispy you pick it up look it does even in break because the outside is so crispy and I actually never had takoyaki this way before so this is so exciting for me look at that look at that glistening with the sauce Oh hmm I never imagined that takoyaki would be so good with tempura sauce I never imagined I think this works because this takoyaki is actually crispy on the outside it's very similar to the crispness of a tempura batter that is wonderful I know what it tastes even better because we're eating a lot of sweets today so it's nice to break it up with this savory snack Oh yummy I don't know if I like this better or the original one because I do like the original one with that chocolatey sauce that's really good too but this one is equally good hmm another one yes please well that takoyaki man that was really good that just hit the spot for me well we got one more place to go guys one more place to go all right guys last stop this place is located inside the Seibu Shinjuku Station building is the same building as you will find the Shinjuku Prince Hotel and the pet bed department store this place is called keysight and they sell something called yakitori which is roasted chestnuts but these are not just regular chestnuts these are probably some of the biggest some of the fluffiest chestnuts I've had in my entire life check it out guys look at that these are bigger than your normal chestnuts I love these these chestnuts are from Kyoto and these are probably the best chestnuts I've ever put into my mouth this bag right here is the compact size it was about 540 NM belief and there's a three or four five there are eight pieces here so they are a little pricier than the regular ones you get like in Yokohama Chinatown for example but there are a lot better they're so different from the regular ones so let's peel one together shall we very easy to peel because it's already cut for you check that look at that look at that beautiful roasted flavor oh but pops her right out of the shell dr. Moss dr. Moss is spectacular this taste so good this taste of course it tastes like chest number it's like a more intensely flavored chestnut and it's so soft and fluffy it's so hard to describe it's like a fluffy chestnut hmm I could just gobble these up like in five minutes definitely so good I'm gonna just have one now I'm gonna take the rest of it home so that was six of our favorite snack key spots here in Shinjuku of course we have a lot more but we are soul stuff we cannot eat anymore we're completely stuff thank you so much for watching guys we hope you enjoyed it leave your comments down below if you're new we would love it if you subscribe and until next time take care everybody bye bye you
