what's up everybody I'm sneaky chuckle Z welcome back today we have another street food video for you guys we are in coin G this is one of our favorite places to just chill relax walk around and get some street food Koenji is located just four stops away from shinjuku on the seoul blue line really easy to get to and let's get started so guys the first place we're going to take you is to this place where they sell these amazing deep fried dumplings and to get there we have to walk through a shopping arcade called ginger salt and guy but right now we're walking along this ginger shorting guy Street and as Satoshi knows this is one of my favorite streets in coins you just know you do know right just because they have a really nice baked we'd actually have a couple of good bakeries just on this street alone on there's a place where you can buy bento and there's also mold off which is a used clothing store and that's where about one out one pair of jeans they're for like just three US dollars so once you get to the end of the street you turn left and you will see oh gosh no match oka on my left side this is where you can buy those Japanese candies and cats for a really good price now if you go left on this corner you will find a grocery store you actually find a lot of grocery stores but we want to go right here and this is where you will find those deep fried dumplings in addition to other stuff the other reason why we come here a lot is because this is sort of in our neighborhood well not really but kind of I mean it's walking distance right maybe 20-30 minutes walking distance head we like to come here on a sunny day we got a nice donut shop there we'll be back from front for some donuts later on and then we got like one of our favorite Thai restaurants is also in this place as well and here we are at the fried dumpling store alright guys here is the shawl on ball this is your deep fried dumplings Chinese style and I love these you're so good check them out so we got a four pieces or 400 yen and believe me they are delicious the flue lasers and there is a proper way to how to eat this or a little bit a small hole on top and slap the soup inside Kabri mmm so variable so so nice meat flavor oh wow wow look resided airy that soup very delicious so delicious disappears Wow whoa the Pope Ava is really good it's so juicy and the outside it's more cheery and the bottom is character in the crispy mmm fYI when I come here I usually or a bowl of their noodles because your noodles are fantastic the noodles are handmade they make it in-house and it's really delicious and I also get a side order of these dumplings but today we're doing Street food so yeah anyway I'm really looking forward to this so hungry by the way I completely forgot how to eat this I guess that wasn't really paying attention was i but anyway eat it the proper way like how subtle she showed you guys don't do what I just did but however you eat this this is so delicious so much flavor check out check out that meat there's there's beautiful porky flavor and I think there's some vegetables in here as well the sesame seeds give it added flavor and I love this uh that one side is crispy I love that crispy on one side soft on the other side hmm-hmm-hmm-hmm so we just walked down maybe two minutes down the street and you'll find this crepe shop called honeybee crepe and they serve these beautiful crepes they serve all kind of crepes from savory all the way to sweet it's really up to you if you're in the mood for something savory I suggest a really plain one with butter that one is just delicious but today I decided to go for one of the fancy ones and this one is the much of something great what is the concept of she milked EEMA cha milky matcha crepe and this is 650 yen so it's a little bit on the pricey side but let me tell you it's definitely worth it because these are delicious anyway let's get right into it okay first of all the outside of the crepe is very crispy and this is the biggest difference between the crepes you find out how jakku and the crepes you find here it's not soggy it's not soft it's just very very thin and crispy and that's the way I like my crepes so like your mas this is like something else it's not just simple whipped cream usually the whipped cream inside those Merion crepes are very fluffy and whipped cream II but this is like a decadent thick cream let me take another bite that is delicious that is so so delicious there's strawberry all the way on the inside there's also cream on the inside and there's much a powder sprinkle throughout and here this is my favorite part it's this thin crepe that's crispy this is what I like about this crepe I like to do that I like to dip dip it into my whipped cream this decadent whipped cream those are so good mmm here it's autoshi you're gonna love it I heard the day I'm making this crepe one pot is crispy and one pot is squishy it's isn't it interesting mmm cream is so soft and sweet and the crepe I ate that crispy part it's good I like this the crepe is wrapped around the multiple times so you can enjoy the variety all the texture good maybe the sweetness it's just like see I told you Satoshi I knew you were gonna agree to me that these crepes are really good and let me tell you you know once again 650 yen and not the cheap is great but it's definitely worth it all you need is one because it's so decadent you don't need any more than this mmm-hmm what's so sad swine so walking back to the station you will encounter a donut shop called Floresta and they have these really cute donuts their flavors change every day and right now these are their collaboration specials this one I completely forgot what it's called but look at it check it out guys there's this like donut hole on the top that you can take out like this and I have no idea what kind of animal these are can you guys tell me what kind of animals do you look like please let me know I don't know check it out this guy has a little tail here's a tail in the back oh my god oh gosh that's so cute all right I think I'm gonna start off with the UH the little donut hole guy here go tiger Moss I'm so cute I don't want to eat him mmm well this is it a cake donut it's a simple cake donut but what I like about these donuts is that they're not too sweet and it's really nice I love these Donuts hmm not heavy at all and the flavor I'm not really sure what flavor it is it's a sugar coating it could be much on I'm not sure and the tail at the end was a little piece of nut or something I don't know what it was good stuff hmm so Toshi do you know what animal this is you'll know mm all right here we go mmm-hmm I believe this one is pumpkin flavor let's see if it tastes like pumpkin a little bit pumpkin flavor not so much but even then I don't know why but I love these Donuts once again because they are not sweet and they're not too heavy hmm oh they're pumpkin flavor just pick them it's very very subtle though good stuff one more cute donors with Nick too too too small doughnuts on top of it and the purple yam chocolate and maybe this is the pumpkin chocolate swirl and the price is 490 yen I don't know this character is it chunky appetizer it's a badger maybe I think so where shall I eat I I don't want to eat this because it's so cute but it his head it has a little bit and cakey donor stickers are really nice and the chocolate coating it's peridot it's crispy the arrow but maybe it's the pumpkin turret I really like this chocolate a coating but it's crispy I can taste of slight pumpkin River and the main part this deep fried at all it's really good I love this plate this butter is really good I'm having a blast are you having a good time yeah yeah yeah yeah my crystal nuts me too me too you know once again let me say you know that the flavors are subtle I think the UH non collaboration donuts have a stronger flavor because I usually get those I really like them a lot well that's pop is really good the Dona itself is really good the texture is spot-on and I don't know the flavor of the donut itself is really nice the flavors of the icing not so much it's not bad or anything is just that the flavors are very very subtle on the collaboration go time so my advice is try out their regular flavors here at Floresta so we're walking back towards the station right now and as you can see there are many shops on both sides of the street a lot of grocery stores on my right side and as soon coming up is going to be this bakery one of my favorite bakeries in this area it's it's an individually owned bakery they do really good bread I love this shop so did I just see you buying something at the bakery yes what did you buy I'm gonna breath oh but in the bird I love the banana bread there oh by the way we turn left here and buy this this is one of the side streets in Koenji you guys know how much I like this side street no Street a very nice tree this leads right directly back to the station but in this narrow street there are like food shops on both sides restaurants bars and take away places well of course walking down the side streets it's really hard to resist all the butcher shops and because they're selling these ready-made food I don't like croquettes tonkatsu yakitori so you got ourselves a bag of coal okay men'she katsu oh this is from a sharp cut Ishida it's one of the three butcher shops on this small little side streets leading to the station I got myself a potato croquette this is 80 yen and I love croquettes subtle she loves menchi-katsu so I'm gonna save that one for him die tomorrow so good there's so much flavor this particular cap you don't need to put sauce on it it's seasoned really well and just enough salt just enough pepper to give it an extra kick a really nice lots of potatoes in there bits of ground beef really really yummy potato I love it so much one of my favorite deep-fried stuff is meant she cuddled me menchi-katsu is that that means - means the meat means to me deep-fried means to make it's like a hamburger steak itadakimasu us look at this beautiful beautiful menchi-katsu the mid-river it's so good this is not so warm because this is the sitting on the tray but it's still good it has a nice meat rahiba next place is from place college still coogee Chaya located right near the station it's literally maybe thirty seconds away from koenji station and of course they have their normal taiyaki with uncle inside but we have to get something different this one is the economy kayak 180 yen and it looked like this Paille means red snapper so it's in the shape of a red snapper fish and instead of Uncle red bean paste there are ingredients that's used it to make okonomiyaki so this one should be interesting it smells savory it smells like all naughty I can smell like Oklahoma Aki sauce my mouths watering already okay let's give it a try Thank You boss mmm Oh Oh check it out that's red ginger in there oh my god it's so good that ginger is so yummy I love bin saga I love red ginger it's basically a ginger that's pickled in vinegar and the cabbage still retains its crispness what else is in here let's see what it looks like this is what's on the inside okay I see mayonnaise cabbage also see 10 cans - which are deep fried tempura batter total chemos the flavor is really like okonomiyaki I'm eating just like okonomiyaki mmm red ginger means pickled red pickled ginger and the tempura batter and the texture of a cabbage is he hmm it's really like okonomiyaki this is a good combination I will and regularly I eat taiyaki the uncle or cream this is good too so that was yummy I mean I should everything we've eaten so far today is really enhances and I found a little bit meat it's ham and bacon under fire really oh I didn't get the ham part you got the ham part yes was it good yeah okay so um we're going to look for one birthday maybe something for dessert although we've already had donut and crepe you know we had something savory now so you always have to finish with something sweet and I remember there is a shop selling Japanese pudding or German or blonde here on this street right now we are walking in another shopping street called hell and this is how do yeah it's called pottery in Japanese and this this is uh I think this is one of the longest shopping streets and coins you you know you have a game arcades you have a lot of used clothing stores Baskin Robbins a lot of wrestlers a lot of ramen restaurants as well and there is an Akkad booth so you can enjoy your shopping even in the rain yes it's a lot of fun last stop is one of my favorite places for pudding it's called no tamago it's located in the pail shopping street on your right side very very near my village vanguard one of my favorite shops is just explore it's a really funky shop I definitely recommend you guys checking it out but let's get to the food this is what it looks like this is their plane and guys this is trust me this is one of the best pudding your ever put into your mouth in Tokyo Jackie mas can I just take a moment because I'm about to tear up it's so good it is so good it's smooth it's incredibly smooth the egg that they use is special eggs from Chiba Prefecture the eggs are so rich in taste and I just cannot get over how smooth this is and it's so hard for me to believe that oh she's never tried it before which is why today he's gonna be blown away about how good this is check it out guys look there's our caramel sauce on the bottom so after that first bite I like to come mix that caramel sauce into my pudding as you can see it's quite soft oh my god mind blown everytime I eat this mind blown it's so good alright I'm gonna have a bite of the chocolate cuz I never tried the chocolate before sorry correction matcha not chocolate we said get much I instead they also have banana which is a seasonal flavor and that's the reason why we didn't get it because we thought you know eat our banana and if it's like out-of-this-world delicious and by the time you guys come here it might not be available available so uh without you know much since they always have this get this one instead so this is what the matcha one looks like and it's not as green as I thought it would be it's not as yellow as the original flavor so let's see what this one tastes like oh oh okay the color is a little greener on the inside and as you can see there is some caramel sauce or what is that on the bottom I'm not sure maybe that's caramel sauce or Kudo means to we'll see I'll try to put him by itself first oh look at that texture mmm-hmm that's good okay the matcha flavors there and prominent but the pudding doesn't lose to the matcha flavor because the pudding itself is made with that rich a guy was talking about so you can still taste that custard and let's try it with that sauce because I want to know if this is caramel or COMESA oh and I noticed that there's also some much a sauce on the bottom as well okay hmm wait hmm I have no idea what it is I think it's cool meter but kilometres usually thicker maybe they thinned out the kilometer I'm not sure kilometer by the way is Japanese black sugar molasses type of sauce but that much a sauce really gives it that that if you know and if you like much how you're gonna like this if you like if you don't like much uh maybe not so much because it's pretty much ie mmm but I gotta say I'll still probably go for the plain one the original paper is my favorite so pray well first mmm so smooth I love pudding what's up this is not much stop-motion I stopped because it's so good so Simmons and the texture is so smooth and egg egg flavor is so good so nice custard flavor Wow I think this is one of the best pudding I've ever eaten much how am I thought it's green but it's not the surface is not green but inside it's green much ie much I maybe this is more acid chroma - maybe this is Kermit crow meat sauce instead of caramel and it has also the custardy pepper but I I prefer so so good thank you very much in native you are the my stout koenji I've never eaten today's today's street food ever I do not know this is heaven town so guys we come to the end of our coin G Street food tour hope you guys enjoy it did you have a favorite today Satoshi everyone every single one every single one everyone all of it oh yeah oh you know why I do have some favorites I do like every single one we tried just like you said but my favorite one of my
