Looks like you got a little
of this and little of that. You have old saws and
a junky old mirror. You know, I wouldn't buy this
if my life depended on it. I'm playing it up
that it's all junk, but I'm betting there's quality
tools in those tool chests. Dave thinks I'm
gonna fall for that? I'm gonna run him up. And what do you say there? How about 300? And 300.
Anybody go 300? Yup. I got 300. How about 3 and a quarter?
- Yeah. AUCTIONEER: And 325.
- Yup. [auctioneer chant] Yeah. And I have now 400. Yup. AUCTIONEER: And 4
and a half and 75. Yup. You got no chance. [auctioneer chant] - Same old game.
- Now 75. And now 500. Yeah. - And 500 and a quarter.
- Yup. - Now 75.
- Yup. Now 600. Yup. Yeah. Rene's in. I'm tagging out. AUCTIONEER: Do I have 650?
- Yup. - [auctioneer chant]
- Yeah. AUCTIONEER: 700
and now a quarter. - Yeah.
- Now 750. Do I have 775? Yeah. 800. [auctioneer chant] Yup. Yeah. AUCTIONEER: Now 8 and a quarter,
and 8 and a half, and 75. Yeah
AUCTIONEER: Now 900. - Yup.
- I have a 9, now a quarter. And 925, 925. Now 900 and a quarter? Uh-uh. Sold it to you, Dave. $900. I like this new auctioneer. But then again, I like
any auctioneer when I win. I spent 900 bucks on what I hope
is a locker filled with tools. You stay right here, girl. OK? I'll see you in bit. [dog whines] We just throw, start throwing
this crap out over here, so we can kind of
dig through it. The first drawer
always tells the story. Damn, Gina. We got about 40
bucks in that drawer. Another 30 bucks here. A lot of Snap-on tools. Another 45 bucks there. Couple air tools. Nice Estwing hammer. I call that one $60
for that drawer. With the tool box and
the tools, just this one is about 400 bucks. About half my money
back, right there. This is another 45 bucks. Sawzall. What do we got here? Ooh. There you go. There's 100 bucks
right there on top. Now we're talking. Got a easy 300 bucks in
air tools right there. Hey, Dave, there's
another one, bud. Damn. And they're all
Snap-ons, look at that. Yup. That's a easy 500. Keep it rolling. Keep it rolling. Let's get all this stuff out. I'm trying to get to
this fancy welder, but it looks like
it's a chainsaw box. Oh no. Even better. It's gonna be a charger. Damn. 150 bucks. It's got the right
name-brand, it's Snap-on. MIG welder. I'm thinking 800 bucks. I just about double my money,
and I haven't even gone through the stuff outside yet. Got a few collector
plates, 5 bucks. $20 worth of clothes. Probably $100 in
stereo equipment here. Oh, look at this here. See, this is why you gotta
look through all these bags. Never know what
you're gonna find. Welding gauges, there's
another 100 bucks right there. Riding gear, I think. You got any idea what that is? Is that, like, a welding
suit, or farming suit, or a, what is it? The jumpsuit, the
motorcycle deal. MAN: I don't know. DAVE: Manufacturer certified. I think that's a flight suit. Maybe it's an astronaut suit. MAN: They're
definitely thermals. These are the
biggest, thickest ass thermals I've ever seen. Wow. Getting 50 below zero,
you're gonna need them. Maybe we'll have to
get this checked out. MAN: Yeah. I don't know exactly
what the suit is, but I do know it's the
cherry on top of this locker. Hey, you guys go ahead
and get this loaded, I'm gonna take the
dog for a walk. [music playing] Looks like the right place. I still don't know if this is a
flight suit or a racing jacket. But I figure, maybe a stuntman
can tell me what it is. Joe, how you doing? JOE: Not bad. How you doing today? Good. So I'm meeting stuntman
Joe [inaudible] from J.E.M. F/X. Talked
about this suit that I have. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
let's check it out. DAVE: How's it going, man?
- I'm not bad. Not bad. DAVE: Well, check it out. Tell me what you think. OK. Well, this is a fire suit. A fire suit. So is it used for welding
or for car racing? This is used primarily to
keep, let's say, drivers safe. So monster drivers,
NASCAR, or stunt people use this thing all the time. Anyone who's on
fire, they're going to be using a suit like this. DAVE: So this would, only
professionals would use this? Yeah. Wear it just to make sure you
don't get, you know, burned. Gotcha. Gotcha. Is this some type of
special fabric or something? Let's see. It's 2013, so it's gonna
be made out of CarbonX. This is the highest quality
stuff you can get at this time. The SFI rating is a 15. That will keep you
alive for about 30 seconds, before you
start really getting the second degree burns. Now, is this something
you use in your industry? Yeah, I use this
all the time when we get prepped for fire burns. So what's it worth? Let's see. It looks brand new. It's got that four layers. This is a great suit. DAVE: Mm-hmm. I'm thinking about two grand. That's not bad. 2,000 bucks for this fire
suit, now that's hot. That's a heck of a find. I already made a lot
of money on the unit. It's almost like
having a fire sale.
