Storage Unit Update - Digging through the Forklift Unit bought at the Storage Auction

what's going on everybody reseal rabbit here i am back at the forklift unit it's been a little bit since i bought this unit i did sell the forklift i mentioned on a different video i got four grand for the forklift i paid i think about 2250 bucks for this unit you'll have to go back to get the exact number um and then it was another 1600 to fix the forklift mostly damage that i created um 4 000 is what it sold for which has me i sold it for 4 000 i sold all the tools for like five or six hundred that i pulled out of it so that has me at about break even except i'm not counting the cost to rent this unit which is 200 bucks a month i believe i've rented it for a month because they've given me a couple months free or a couple weeks free so i'm going through and i'm starting to clear it out now just because it's really nice outside so the plan is this palette and then there are four pallets in the back that are wrapped with uh like glassware what is this oh there's a good item um pallets of glassware let's see one two three i think four back there i'm just gonna rent a truck and wheel them right on that way i don't need to de-palletize them but i'm going through i'm not really going through a lot but i'm just trying to load up the truck i don't even have the trailer here i found a couple of things first off this excites me it's an anti-fatigue mat i need to get one of these and i've been pricing them out they're like 60 bucks so right there saves me 60 bucks this is a gun burial tube uh this lid comes off and then there's a watertight lid below it i guess it's for like preppers they can bury their their stuff uh then there's also another item from this company called the sportsman's guide here which is um i looked it up i haven't opened it but it looks like pavers we've got that that fancy cigar case this is kind of nice it's probably never going to be used for its intended purpose but it's a little table here it's kind of dirty you would put your computer tower in there and you've got drawers even if you don't have a computer tower because no one really does anymore it's still kind of a nice little cabinet so i'm just kind of pulling stuff out here um oh there's something else on here i wanted to show you that probably is worth a little bit of money this um i would assume minnesota twins 1991 according to that i could probably get 20 25 bucks for it and i have no idea what this thing is utility tray that means anything to you uh and then you know that's probably worth 10 bucks so i'm just kind of pulling stuff out here and loading up the truck i'm just i don't feel like working today it's so nice out so i figure i'll get something done we got a window ac unit that might be the remote for it down there that's probably about a hundred bucks now it's getting warmer out i'm just pulling stuff out here's another thing from the sportsman's guide company i have no idea what it is this is heavy whatever it is might be a hammock maybe i'm not sure i'm gonna look it up so i just looked up that number there it's a portable folding hammock boy that's going to be tough for me to sell i really want to keep that and i might have to so as of this point i'm about 200 in the hole after considering selling the fix buying the unit fixing the forklift selling the forklift and uh selling the tools we have some dungeons and dragons books usually these are good for 20 to 50 bucks each on ebay uh what do we have here nothing there was a zune in here too i remember last time i went through i couldn't find it i uh we found it i had a buddy here he was digging looking at stuff we found a zune in the box and then i went to show you and i have no idea where it is oh look another propane tank i've got three of these in my house they're just full and i've got nothing that runs on propane until now there was a nice stainless steel grill in here that i bought from the company and brought home of course i gave myself a good deal um we got some baseball cards here you know even these worthless baseball cards this box just the cards i don't know about the other stuff but just these baseball cards basketball cards this box will probably sell for 25 bucks in a local auction um and depending on this mattress looks you know i i like to sell mattresses if i post it for free no one's gonna take it but if i post it for 10 bucks it'll be gone in an hour so as long as it's not like moldy and absolutely gross that's usually what i do with these to avoid having to get rid of them um we got a pressure washer down there now is the time you get to start selling that a heavy bag there were a couple of bikes this one and that one over there nothing too phenomenal but decent um you know just odds and ends there's some good stuff in here some people were saying that as crap it's amazing how many people say this stuff is the stuff that i buy is junk listen guys um let's see 6 500 a month on my warehouse multiple employees salaries clearly i can't be losing money on everything here but anyways this is a great unit i am so excited to see how much i make on it it's not going to be a lot of work to empty out because like i said most of that's on pallets i'm just going to get a truck with a lift gate and wheel them out with a pallet jack put it right on the truck and most of that's going to go in the next warehouse sale so that'll be fairly easy that could probably go for a couple of bucks maybe the game i don't know but that might be like 10 15 bucks it's really bothering me that i don't know where i set the zune it probably got tossed back in a box somewhere over here i mean right here if this works and it's not in the best condition but i bet i can still get 20 25 bucks on ebay for it don't oh hold on we got another i got a chord for one hanging out oh we got a second one in there now don't quote me on that number because it's been a long time since i've sold gamecube controllers it could be 10 it could be 40. i have no idea but last time i sold them they were about 20 25 bucks um and that's an orange one so it might bring in more then dish set all right i'm gonna start throwing more stuff on the trailer or on the truck so i put on this i just unlatched it i haven't opened it usually this means three things poker chips grill tools or video games like a hint like a psp or a ds it's too light to be poker chips it's too small to be grill tools oh it is poker chips i mean still it's the reason it feels light i think it's missing a bunch but still probably five bucks in an auction remember five bucks i don't need to deal with selling it so oh i got excited for nothing on that uh what else here is a closer look at this pressure washer looks like a pretty nice one it's a honda i think that's a little crooked they might no honda i thought maybe they put a random sticker on it looks like a shampooer vacuum cleaner car ramps i don't know what else is back there we've got a dog crate a couple of fans or purifiers oh is this a watch no empty but these watch boxes can sometimes have some value this has a little weight to it ashtray maybe an ashtray for whatever that company is and probably another ashtray under it not really any value there little desk fan looks like a bob marley cd tin some clothes now the clothes i'm gonna take a close look at because there were some boxes that i thought were just the person's clothes but if you remember this is all like overstock although they did have some personal items in here uh so there could be some new clothes in here there's at least one box there that i thought was just used junky clothes that were gonna go to goodwill and it ended up being all new clothes first aid kit i don't know what that is pogo stick like a kids pogo stick and this is the type of thing you never know when this was from because sometimes this type of stuff toys you know they were selling it for 10 bucks and maybe it was worth 10 bucks at the time but maybe it's been out of production for so long that it's worth more i sold some barbie roller skates for like 80 bucks on ebay uh brand new just because they don't make them anymore i'm trying to find a date here 2001 2003 so this you never know could be a hundred bucks on ebay it could also be 10 bucks in an auction i have no idea but that's the type of stuff you always want to look up we have in here speaker maybe karaoke machine or something like that that's just empty all right i'm just about loaded up here that i'm gonna keep we can always use an extra one of those around the building so this bike is not new you can see some surface rust on there the chain's pretty rusted um i mean it's still worth probably 20 30 bucks this other bike in here i don't know if we can get to it but i showed it in the last video is brand new i can't get all the way to it but that one i looked it up it's nothing spectacular they sell them at walmart for like 250 bucks i could probably get about 150 bucks for it it does not look like it looks like it's just a single speed maybe i don't see any thing on the handlebars to switch gears which is a shame because i want a nicer bike mine is like a five dollar yard sale bike and that's not not what i'm looking for but this this one that i have in the truck you know fill up the tires take it for a ride around the block and see how it feels maybe this will be my new bike and this would be cheaper i can't justify selling that fancy one to myself for 10 bucks but this one i can but this one might be just as crappy as my bike i don't know but i don't want to ride it until the tires are filled up that's what winter does to bike tires all right so i can fit a little bit more here i don't need to worry i'm going to throw a strap over the bike and that's going to hold everything in place i'm not going very fast just surface streets and they'll close the tailgate of course so it's just surface streets to the warehouse i was going the highway would be another story but all right small box i am going to keep this for now um my house if you don't follow the channel i just bought a house the ac is like 35 40 years old and we haven't tested it yet because the middle it was the middle of winter so just in case the ac doesn't work i might borrow that for a couple months until i get my ac replaced it's like a little shelving unit here another shelving unit table or something there all right let's get this load back to the warehouse so i can come back and grab more so i looked this up on ebay and no results by looking at the barcode but when i typed it in look someone has one listed for 100 bucks no solds let's try amazon i'm not going to send it to amazon but just to get an idea of pricing uh oh barcode's on the other side no nothing on amazon probably because it's kind of a safety thing but uh you know 100 bucks i'm not gonna put this on ebay for a hundred bucks uh just because look how big it is shipping that would be a nightmare because they did have it listed for 100 free shipping but i could probably send it to an auction it is brand new maybe it'll sell for 30 40 bucks you never know about another sportsman's guide item one of these interlocking patio tiles these are probably the same as what i have on there there's a lot of this brand there's another one aluminum game cart so two boxes of these i think will be enough to do something so someone might pay a little bit for them i think they look really ugly but yeah you never know they might sell this is just an empty box but we've got a couple of mattress protectors there see this looks like all garbage but if you look there's stuff in these boxes yeah here's some piece of furniture another piece of furniture uh looks like a clock over here we've got whatever this aluminum thing is uh stroller never heard of the brand but some bedding um all sorts of stuff there and then this pallet would be interesting to see what's in it this is i don't know what the story is i don't think this is a palette he bought i'm seeing target stuff and that's the old red label priced items that is target also we had a price for a garage sale there's sports cards in it so this could just be like a mismatch of stuff that he threw in this pallet but there's probably some decent value in here um is that an empty box there's one glass in there what about this one [Music] oh this has glasses in it oh these chairs are usually decent money on ebay there's some sort of picture frame or something also back there this is brand new i looked at this last time that's why i know that's brand new all right i know for the third time let's get this stuff to the warehouse finally found the zoom it was in one of the boxes i don't know if it works but we'll get it tested and get it listed on ebay looks like it's got all the paperwork in there box is pretty rough but this thing if i can get it out wow this is really in there look at that all right this is getting annoying there we go it's in fairly nice shape so we should be able to get a few bucks for it i don't know it's been a long time since i sold these i used to be able to be able to get 200 bucks for them but that was like five years ago so we'll find out so this is more than a couple of bucks on ebay there are two sold for about the 45 to 55 range but the only ones listed are all around 100 bucks or more if you want to look it up here so this is going on ebay so i'm here for trip number two i loaded those on and then coming back in here next to it see a patio chair it's actually a pretty nice one nice little wicker i think it's like that plastic material it's made oh no that might be actual wicker i don't know but uh that should go i'd guess at least 40 50 bucks i'm not seeing a match for it it better be better if it was a pair but then down here jumbo jumbo break i have no idea what that is so we'll pull that out we'll pull this heavy bag out so jumbo braid oh it's just a reuse box looks like a bunch of bedding we've got twilight game collection looks like some sheet sets a sofa cover so various soft lines probably 50 bucks in this box and i just realized my flashlight's on while i'm filming uh this box kind of similar type stuff this i'm assuming is a pop-up canopy 12 foot hex diagonal portable gazebo and some more mysterious boxes back there this is probably another one actually this is such a good unit i am so happy so this thing the box is pretty rough there's something in it though it's got a little weight to it let's see i don't see any product information on it though so that's a mystery it looks like you know what it kind of looks like it looks like it might be a canopy for like a boat or something so we'll find out we got a ramp uh looks like for a pet to be able to get in and out of a pool and i think this is like one of those acrylic bar stools probably not going to sell for a lot for just one uh we've got lampshade unique style i don't know what this is aluminum cargo kit oh this goes on a trailer hitch uh so what you would see like a wheelchair or just extra stuff on the back i might actually put this on the truck right now just to bring more stuff that's what it looks like it is super lightweight these are lighter than this but uh you need to put it together i don't have any wrenches or anything so um i'm just gonna put it back in the box and load it up but this is really like really high quality i mean the welds don't look great but it's all aluminum this thing is like nothing as far as weight seriously this bar probably weighs more than both of these put together so nice little handy thing i don't know 50 bucks maybe so back to this mysterious thing this is a government liquidation us military something cover access kit it does say it's broken in some way it's gotta be for a boat some sort of fold down cover for a boat i don't see any other thing that it could be but um you should be able to get something for it i would imagine so we got a fan here and this we've got an iron fancy looking iron [Music] two caddies in one i don't think garbage can maybe some sort of waste basket uh neutrogena so just kind of odds and ends in this box this i'm probably going to get this pallet out before i can move it but it's got some weight to it says it's an ottoman so i'd imagine that's in there light fixture some sort can kenroy home i've sold something like that for decent money on ebay that brand uh this is uh looks like i think that's wood cut outs cutting boards of the us no that's slate that's a slate cutting board and it looks like a whole bunch of them in there so that box i don't know maybe five of them in there that's got to be over 100 bucks for this box [Music] i would imagine get this stuff up wait that's not the us what is that this might be a state kentucky okay maybe not this will definitely be an ebay item so are they all kentucky if it was the u.s it would have done really well yeah i think they're all kentucky three yep they're all kentucky there were five of them four in the box plus this so i mean maybe i can still get 20 25 bucks each that's not crazy um here's what you do you buy one for each state and make a giant slate america all right and then this box let's get this stuff out of the way here and i probably already went through this box initially so we got a halloween costume looks like some apparel new apparel that's target you can already tell there you go they switched to yellow tags a long time ago so this stuff has been sitting for a while uh let's see steve harvey i don't know steve harvey pants worth anything looks like a giants sweatpants and i don't know that all this stuff is new i mean it could have been stuff this person got at a store or something like goodwill or something like that uh let's see what's in that box you can already tell it's not too exciting leaking was this liquid plumber so maybe they'll be sellable depends how bad they're leaking and we get a whole bunch of big stuff along here too it's like a car seat a planter a whole bunch of fun stuff in here all right i've got a little bit of space left on the truck and i don't remember how much space so let's go take a look we're stacking it tall this time uh i can get some narrow stuff here a couple boxes there we'll pack it nice and tight that way i don't need to worry about that pulling over or anything again i'm not driving on highways or anything so let's pack it tight so i don't need to strap it down over here we've got a shark floor steamer broom and dustpan i wonder what's in this big box do you hear that beeping on the video i think somebody has an alarm going off in one of their storage units that's something bigger it looks like that might be a tent maybe i can't really get to it tent missing leg all right so probably not worth a bunch but you get a couple bucks for it we've got some stuff down here fill the gap and sleep better with a mattress wedge and then whatever that is all right load more up that's a nice wolf cut out could probably get 15 20 bucks for that here's that new bike if you wanted to see it ocean side i looked it up it's at walmart um here's the thing though it looks like a nice bike but it has it's one gear i don't know if i really want to ride this i want something with gears for going off-road the uh handlebars need to be tightened but it is a brand new bike so should be it and if there's a bike charge this year like last year maybe i can get three four hundred for it but i don't think i'm gonna wait around to find out i think i'm just gonna sell it now uh looks like no it just slides in there and then here's the other one so it doesn't look broken in any way should be good to go then these i believe were all apparel and bedding some pots and pans so i think this is where i'm going to leave you unless i see anything else noteworthy because this is my last trip here today um got some stuff back it was kind of i wasn't really planning on coming here today i just decided you know what the weather's nice let's do something outside and this is something outside there's a lot of mystery in here i have no idea what's in there yet so this is interesting i thought this was a sleeping bag i wonder hmm this might just be a reused bag uh because that looks like a jacket they wanted a hundred bucks for it looks like did this one have those yeah definitely reused bags i thought maybe they were like trade show displays or something like that looks like a bar stool back here fairly nice bar stool i'm taking some of these soft things and just using them to wedge stuff in here so it doesn't go shift too much while i'm driving all right got a good chunk out of here we're all loaded up here some decent stuff i'm gonna drive slowly but this stuff isn't going anywhere this hold on put that down there this is a little on the edge but it's i made sure i put something heavy on there i think we'll be fine those are all wedged in pretty good nothing's coming off of here what about this i'm gonna wedge something in here just to keep that from moving and we should be good and
