Staying at a Japanese Hot Spring Resort 🇯🇵 Aomori, Japan

[Music] hey guys welcome to vlogmas I'm so happy to be doing vlogmas this year so thank you so much for joining me I hope you guys enjoyed the video but we're starting off with a very Christmasy feeling today because today was the first time I saw snow this year he's really freaking cold we're up in Elmarie right now and it was snowing during our drive here so that was really nice it's good to see that because I don't get to see snow every year but I guess up here in northern Japan it's obviously a lot more common so that was nice I'm here with my friend check you haven't seen each other in ages when was the last time in korea in korea would you care to see me in Korea must have been like a year and a half ago so she came up to northern Japan so we're on a little trip and we're actually in my favorite do kinda Japanese hotel of all time so super excited to share it with you guys I've made a video here a couple years back but for those of you that are new to my channel I didn't see that video I hope you enjoy this this is such a good hotel I've stayed it's your first time here is my first yeah I almost feel impressed because with it is your room nice yeah do you have a little bathtub in your room a little some of the rooms have like your own little Tugg in the room mine doesn't I got the cheaper one because the outdoor baths here that everybody the public baths that everyone goes that are so nice later on we're gonna go in the own zone and a couple of minutes we're going to go have a buffet dinner and the food here is the best I think it's probably the reason that I really like this hotel the buffet is just amazing you're really you're really gonna like it yeah I remember them having lots of sweets so that's why I like I'm starving oh my we've been driving yeah so it's the two of us and three of our feds and I hope you guys enjoy the video so let's go get some dinner [Music] [Music] [Music] mr. zones like them so excited for dessert we just get dessert now who look cakes yeah although I'm worried apples yeah no one's touched this I'm kind of marshmallow dessert hot one I know right I want what I be mochi also I really like that at this hotel they label the ingredients of every dish that they have out here so it's really easy to know what's and everything [Music] dessert and apple juice and the selection of all maury apple juices because three different kinds of apples [Music] [Music] apple pie I don't want to you're gonna eat it it looks really good no you're not you're an owl Maria feed apple pie no you do everything how much stuff over yes she's like a full tray here to make that you're young that's very young growing boy it's like freshly squeezed apple juice no real oxygen and we've also got cider from a factory which is a really good apple using your store in El Morya City check it out it's gonna be four really good worry souvenirs I've been there several times it's really impressive they block the signers now gelato spears everything really my god is one of people cheaper than their back that's really soft and squishy really good after dinner we're gonna go to the hometown there's actually an outdoor own side here that's for no good which means mixed guys and girls can go in together but you don't go in naked they provide these like towels bathing suit type things if I remember correctly yeah and then after 8:30 p.m. they closed it off for just girls so you don't want to go in with guys you can wait until later in the evening and go we're all gonna go together [Music] don't want to see me try say it how will the cook and the real gut who said it the best friends I wonder cook just meet the bus it's about seven o'clock and we're gonna head out to the old antenna I think it's about a 15-minute drive it's out in the middle of the forest it's really cool it's beside a waterfall join us we buy a car rental - no keep it oh come on the guy's mouth so this is what we're gonna wear in 2010 they gave us a little pair of shorts and this strange apron thing not the most flattering bathing suit but it will do much better than going in naked with a bunch of guys so can't complain [Music] tell us on hmm how's your face abso get up there you need put it - hopefully it's pretty nice really relaxing yeah got this really cool lantern room and apparently you can sign up for a class - maybe yeah this is the class oh they do it like three times a day and it costs 50 bucks let's do it wanna make one it's like a pear shape that one looks like a ten go you don't know what tender is don't look it up on Wikipedia don't look it up don't look up what a tender is ever [Music] goodnight see you guys in the morning alright let me give you guys a tour of my room so this is the toilet and I haven't looked at the shower yet actually but there's a little sink area here they give you all the little amenities that you need it's pretty awesome face wash and everything - that's cute little shower room woah look at that hair dryer what is that I've never seen anything like this that must be from the 70s at least Wow and this is the bedroom it's a really big room probably could have had a couple friends join me but it's ok not gonna complain about having it all to myself it's a really interesting sofa situation going on here not quite sure what you're supposed to do with this but it's pretty cool it looks really comfy I wish I had something like this in my house you just kind of chill here and relax look out the window there's probably a really nice view outside but it's pitch black so don't think we're gonna see anything nope and then wait this is the best part tada it's a massage chair with speakers for some reason let's try it out I haven't tried it yet boom it's also got a heater you'd be so nice to have one of these in your house they're not that expensive there are actually quite a bit cheaper in Japan than back in Canada anyways but the problem is space I don't really have a space the proofing chair like this or also we love one because my back is always sore alright pause that for that we finished the tour and then I'm gonna go back and enjoy the massage chair so we got a little mirror here where I've been doing my makeup and stuff this is a heater this is an air filter and humidifier TV and the little tea set coffee and green tea oh yeah then they had some little snacks over here jingle a little apple almond Florentine cookies that concludes the tour it's a pretty spacious room really nice size yeah I love this hotel if you guys are looking for a yokan hotel highly recommend this one oh this little fridge - and some tell us alright I think I'm gonna head to sleep it's really early it's only like 9:00 p.m. but we were awake at 6:00 a.m. this morning because we went to the biggest morning market in all of Japan and Hachinohe City there are like 300 stalls selling food and vegetables and crafts all kinds of things it was really fun so if you find yourself away up in Elmarie i do recommend the morning market and how'd she know him it was really cool and that is it for vlogmas day one I'm so excited to be doing this again this year I will try my best to get a video up every day for you guys until Christmas and I hope to see all of you back here again tomorrow thanks for watching guys is gonna [Music] [Music]
