Stationeers with Capac part deux!

Mars today everyone and welcome back for more station is I've got cut back with me again so hopefully it's gonna be as fun as it was last time cuz I genuinely enjoyed playing this with you is my beard working no you are a bald man no well I wonder if it's savegames specific hmm if you go into the options can you change it now so I think I got the impression a while back that they used to have that big save game specific there we go oh there we go great that suddenly grew OB it actually looks a little bit like e Oh first streamer of our with that notification in the first minute of the stream you're giving an emergency beeping on my spacesuit oh man good job calf suffering from a severe lactose pizza job make sure to have I've got a lightning bolt what does that mean I sent my power yeah that means your powers language we should probably go outside and do some things come on crank it through the door maybe it's made you too big no it could be alright we need some charge for a bunch of things it's turn on that Oh where's my no I gonna remember how to do everything where's my wrench gone I got it so at some point today we should try and get these automated yeah I'll leave that in to get some steel steel because then if we can get a station battery at least we'll have some more secure power and that way we'll have a bit more time to fiddle around with things like well we've got a bit of iron in Chima like a hundred and seventeen iron oh yeah weird um there have been a few updates since we last played there's some small ones but I didn't think there was anything major I think the major ones do to come soonish I didn't know I haven't checked it out I need a refrigerator well we go I have however this morning installed the new space engineers beta on Xbox which unfortunately kept back and I work in a test today but cowpox Xbox has died again again yeah had that previously broken not that one no I did not know this but I had a red ring of death on an old who didn't have that I've earned a lot of consoles in my life and the other one is working again the only ones that have died have been X boxes that that's fair I don't think I've had anything else to either well has a battery charging going so all the ones on the wall are charged so if you shove your battery in there you should be able to get it charged up before the night maybe in at least a little bit I'm just trying to get the room a bit chilled down because it was quite like when we loaded up and I know I'm gonna get distracted so I don't want the plants to wilt so I'm just gonna cool it down even though it's not optimal for the plants yeah we do need to get some solar tracking hooked up everyone but I think I want to do the furnace and get some steel first Oh cap back you may want to update your stream since I think it's still set to seven days to die no I mean that's the same thing right sure let's see information updating that's good don't act in degrees oh I'm so glad this little pressure readouts actually working this time because it wasn't working last time we played it's kind of annoying me yeah my tablet charges empty yeah yeah yeah yeah there are a lot of things we need to do I get this yeah I'm trying to remove anything of them and you're trying to remember how feel like you need a PhD just to play this game yeah I guess I keep giving alt and tab confused jack no no I absolutely like spice engineers more but I'd like to have a bit of variety of my games it's like my food I want to eat various things and I want to play various games playing one thing all the time gets a bit oh this is why the autosave was not on by default let's increase the frequency decrease the frequency of that because that is really stalling the game when it auto-saves right doot-doot-doot what can I do furnace where is the furnace oh wait I am I'm here to make it alright well this battery's dead yeah cuz it's charged oh it's trying to fill your battery because the battery charger is on that's why I've got the airlock on a separate circuit so we can't accidentally deep power the airlock we need just some kind of battery bank that we could make there's a station battery we can make but we need to steal for it same as we need steel to make large batteries what we should be doing right now is trying to get a furnace but we've got no power so we can't actually make the finest that's my power low it just swaps my battery because you probably you probably swapped it for a small battery and the small batteries almost run out what are these medical pills for what oh I'm gonna get some kind of space disease yeah I think it might be like radiation something possibly yeah if I grow an extra arm I don't know how I'm gonna fit in my spacesuit a little bit of stuff in here if we got another empty an empty crate anyway I don't think so Oh compact a few this one's got a few empty spaces yeah but the other ones are all real full I can't uh it's kind of knowing now I fell in a hole well Quebec did manage to rip his suit last time so he may well be the one who dies first given everyone speculating on it at the moment but equally I expected him to have died last time and he didn't so he may well not die it can happen but it's possible oh I can't even remember what I was doing up here oh that's right I wanted to make another staircase you were trying to make like another level so that we could move the solar panels up there and then start building the auto tracking thing yeah uses a lot of materials though yes and we currently don't power or not have enough power to create said materials I think Oh what else do you need for steel is it iron and carbon like go home iron and coal which we put into a furnace in the correct ratios and we have to put the volatiles and oxides in the correct ratios to get the right temperature in the furnace yeah it's kind of complicated oh man we don't have any power at the moment so I can't even operate the things that we need to make the furnace well what's when the Sun comes up what's the most important thing to do charge our batteries and you go out and collect some coal coal and iron and oxides and volatile like I said we go about 120 iron over here yes so probably collect a bit of coal and then collect some oxides and volatile or maybe I'll go do that I'm gonna need my drill does my drill have charge high that's good drag time we've both got money belts so we can both get the license and when I put my tablet in my shoes what in a uniform yes I guess I probably want to track a cartridge oh it doesn't have a battery oh yeah dragged on it's all kind of changed since the crashed ship think you now get the land and now the default is this Lander where everything's kind of stuck in it and I think you spawned with the tools the tool belts using my angle grinder I'll steal the battery from there that's not good yeah my power is low so I'm gonna need to focus on powering up my suit yeah - whoo humming day oh we can't really go far from here at the moment I mean I could try digging down and see if I can find some coal you almost certainly won't mmm some alloys are alright to make without a smelter room because things like steel are relatively easy but other alloys yet the only allies I'd probably make without a smelter room would be steel and solder anything else I think is just too much of a hassle speaking of I might cheekily get up the the wiki for station is what that's cheating Casa because you need it in this game surely we've been provided with all the training that we needed before we were delivered here you didn't do any training before you started last time you just jump did blind look just because I snuck onto the capsule instead of the actual astronaut those meds are we coming doesn't mean I didn't quickly flip through the pamphlet on the training program why are we even here all right it's gotta be a reason that's cool watching you without my light off is it meant to be like a colony and we meant to be setting up a colony if we are I don't know how we're gonna get new colonists maybe we're meant to set up the like a beachhead for further colonization attempts perhaps yeah it sure let's let's make a nice habitable space on Mars mm-hmm I'm not sure if I'd call this nice semi habitable yeah I said nice I didn't say we had it already can we make can we make a display that will tell us the atmosphere inside without having to checked it out like tablet for it probably cuz that could be useful but you'll need materials to make that which we don't have well some saw most and we don't have power yeah I'm real low yeah we need we need a power situation fix so I really just want to get a phone as first with a furnace I can make new large batteries even if I don't make a station battery I can make large batteries so that we can have more soup replacement batteries and we can have backup once so these we have to adjust these or manually right right now yes which is annoying I don't know I lost my wrench again Mariners one month dragged on you were sent forth as Mars pioneers to set up the starting colony to carry on humankind and save us from a dying earth you have one month before the new arrivals so get crackin I don't think good month is long enough for us to what the Kraken get cracking all right we got some power coming by the time I've done that I may as well just have them automate it I think because it's not terribly much more difficult to fully automate it all right I'm switching my suit battery out you might want to do the same you charge yours and then all church Brian I still got a little bit of power well there's a fully charged small one in there so you may as well just pop it in and charge yours while you're using up the small one that's why I was saying it okay oh man thrilling gameplay yeah I meant to went to look this up before we played again but I didn't get around to it well you could look it up all the way while I'm doing this if you want to be the one who tries to set it up do i maybe alright let's let's see because if I focus on the furnace and you focus on that that might be a good way to divide up our efforts oh solar tracking station ears there are guides on the wiki that are pretty good oh it's hurting my brain already and I'm just reading the article titles you you deliver proper gas mixes to the furnace but we're just gonna manually do it for now because I've never gotten to the point of setting up a proper gas mixing setup I found some oxide I've just got to find some volatiles now sure you might show me some P crystals 20 percent nitrogen what are you looking at meet Bob is saying oxide isn't pure oxygen it's got other stuff in it too yeah interesting charger and swap one of those batteries into the other one so that you can no try and run the electro print to print off a few things and like senses and the stuff you need for the automation don't go in hole no Oh which one what I need what am i working on automation of the solar panel so that we can actually get it consistent and effective amount of power okay so I need yeah dragged on I thought we had some right next to the base as well but I have not seen it and maybe cat-back did have it but then he put it in the container it all evaporated to senses no you only should need one sensor what that as I don't know there was a chat you've been getting a lot of hits in your chat which I've been reading and then trying really it's trying to relate to you if I understand what you're doing but we don't need because we only need east-west tracking we don't need north-south tracking yeah not too much of it anyway we can we will be quite happy with just not with just east-west tracking we'll get more than a cart with that right got some golds you're in the machine printer thing did we just run out of panel yes why because we need to charge those batteries so that we can charge our super batteries again wait wait did you did you just turn on the battery charger yes when I was in the chest as I hit the button to make the center I turned it on a favorite father mm-hmm I mean our other option would be to just spam solar panels so that we have like four in every direction and just coat the real lazy man's I have not even having to use any logic and just have 12 of these in a row and have them all set up what for for morning four for me down for for the evening it would work alright I got a thing good I got a sense or good turn off the printer when you're done with it yeah it uses up power to have it idle you might want to put your suit battery in to get charged super tree um do you want to see if you can make a few more solar panels and a few more iron frames so that we can lay out a bunch more there's a bunch of iron sheets did you take them own sheets yeah there's some frames no so if you make the frames and we lay out more of these solar panels at least we could just have a non tracking one that has a whole lot of power and then whence is tracking it'll be epic power um I can only concentrate on so many things at a time I'm asking you to switch concentration from the thing you were doing that boss is getting anywhere to the thing that I get a summer down but just got a sensor all right all right keep working on that then I probably will need some frame so I built this circuit yes you will which I guess I need some of these I am ingots yeah that'll be in the auto life you'll need to do that frame iron frames so these machines actually hold some like station is solo as I have in space engineers when I play solo but with Quebec I'm definitely enjoying it because his struggles make my struggles feel better don't be yet to taint my struggles that's unusual watch you watch you struggle yeah want to get a nice full battery charger of large batteries and make sure we've got large batteries in all of our area power controls which we will shortly and then I'm gonna get a big station battery hooked up somewhere I'm so confused yes well said dragon on the struggles are really enjoyable to watch but people doing it also enjoy you seeing you come through in the end and have some degree of success yeah we're cat-back has placed this it will block sunlight from the solar panels but eventually the panels are going to be moved to a an elevated position but it shouldn't block the light for these panels not any more than the caption pocket for the next two in the row they would yeah but we can always click skip those two and build another array of four on this side in fact it would make sense have the control circuits be in the middle of the whole array maybe yeah I know I'm not fast okay young happy if you just keep going as you are well you get up working it doesn't really matter as long as it works we'll be better off than we are right now yeah we'll see about that I need one logic memory one logic processor just wait till cat-back has to figure out how to use the screwdriver to set the things on this we had a pair again yes but our batteries over here are charging I could turn off the battery charger temporarily there yeah logic memory can i queue up the next recipe while it's still working no but I can do it on the fly yeah it tipsy mecha max I agree I think any loss from catback obstructing the last few minutes times since I started I'd like to think most of its because we've actually made some real progress and not so much because I cheated with the mining although that does save us a little huge amount of time on resource collection it's always tempting to place this right next to each other but I think it causes problems portable generator portable scrubber solid generator pipe valve sort of can so there's a mod first station is that that changes your how much you get from resources when you mind them so in station ears all of the ORS are in kind of little blobs and each blob usually gives you three or four I think it is bits of material I added a mod that changes that up to 50 because for a stream I didn't want us to be spending the whole day mining yeah and or searching for resources because we've depleted everything nearby so instead of that I added the mod that makes each one give you 50 Oh Suns coming up yeah we need more cable before I can get any power from these new panels oh yes always entertainment first as I was saying earlier for me if we were editing this I'd probably make us suck it up and have to deal with the fact that everything's slow but because we're streaming it's a bit more important to have things move along speaking of moving along yeah making here you're right Marcus cheating for a stream would be us using something that makes it so we don't need to worry about suffocating closing your lockers eh yep I don't want all the stuff falling out cap back I think you need to head off shortly don't you I do so I guess we will since it's only been
