[Music] [Applause] what's going on YouTube today I kind of wanted to show you a little bit of starfields outpost system and mainly what I was able to do with it here at the beginning of my new game plus one playthrough after putting about 165 hours into my first run through for whatever reason I put the game down right before I beat it now March but late February when I pick it back up beat the game went through New Game Plus well towards the end of that game I started to realize that I scattered my outposts everywhere and I made it as difficult as humanly possible to craft anything for my guns anything for my space suits anything at all unless I was in my ship and obviously your ship has has a finite amount of cargo space so how can you create the most efficient and easiest way to get an absolute metric ton of resources to One Singular Planet so you can land on One Singular planet and craft anything that you would ever need in the game well can't show you everything today but I can give you a quick breakdown and point you in the right direction on how to make this happen now first and foremost do this as early in your game's playthrough as possible I have only rescued Barrett and that was only so I could get Lynn and heler and the reason why you want Lyn and heler is because they offer level three in engineering and management so when you stack those those two people together or split them up you'll get some serious benefits on whatever planet that you need so what I did was boneheaded built this whole complex before even go into the lodge so I made it way more difficult on myself than it needed to be because what I could have did was put Lenn and Herer at two of the first planets that I built that both happen to be the most important planets in this chain that way I could get more aluminum more iron you know more titanium more lead because when you put those guys on a planet you'll get more production and then you can also add robots to that and get even more production you want to hit up the bars inside of all your major settlements and try to find as many Outpost Specialists as you possibly can as you can see I have an outpost management specialist here on charit Abus 2 and essentially all they're doing is they're pumping my production now I generally will put two production people on a planet and then one security guy so I'll have three Cruise stations all together so on charot Bas 2 for instance you know we have our Outpost management specialist we have our security guard and we also have Andromeda Kepler so three people we got one doing engineering the other specialist is in management and we got our security guard so what does that get you like what is the point in doing this well the object is to be able to stand on your Hub planet where I'm at right now and be able to scroll through this stuff and pretty much so build whatever you need on the spot as you can see as I'm scrolling through these in the top left corner I just have an absolute metric ton of materials and it's it's fantastic CU it it carries over to these workbenches too so whether you're trying to beef up your Outpost or you want to beef up your armor or your weapons you just can select whatever you need and have 9999 pluses on essentially everything and if it's not 999 plus you're well into the hundreds so you may see right away now why I'm saying do this as early in a run through as possible because if you do that all that basic gear you're picking up at the very beginning you can easily maximize its potential now I will argue the fact that the game is pretty easy do you really need to do this at the end of the day probably not but if you are somebody that enjoys the Outpost system and enjoyed Fallout 4 settlement system that this definitely can be a worthwhile 20 hours so run through Unity you know get Barrett and Lynn and then immediately just start running your ass over to UC distribution and the two vendors inside of Sedonia the girl out stairs and UC Surplus are the two in Sedonia and just get as much resources as you possibly can to get your first two planets down and then from there once you have your first two planets down that are producing your core resources so in other words this one certainly I'm getting iron alal alkanes and tantalum on this one I'm getting aluminum brillium and helium 3 okay those were the first two planets that I put down and then my third planet was titanium tungsten and Lead so just between these two moons in this planet alone I have 80% of the materials that you need for uh a lot of your crafting and then I added a fourth planet and that is putting me up to my 90% at that point my fourth planet was given me nickel platinum and Cobalt so just these two moons this planet and this Moon I have really everything that I would ever need hard resource wise so your rocks and then all of those planets are pushing to my Hub Planet so every resource that I collect on these I'm getting immediately well not immediately but pretty darn quickly to one planet and you do that through cargo links so at the end of the day I have six planets all pushing resources to my Hub planet and that's how I'm able to enter a bench or The Outpost system and just build whatever the heck I need so in order to get all that rocking and rolling you basically just want to start with the planets that are going to give you the resources to build your other outposts if that makes sense so in other words outposts take a lot of iron they take a lot of aluminum they take a lot of lead a lot of titanium and tungsten try to find those three planets first then lastly you're going to want to find your temperate Planet that's going to give you your green houses and your animal husbandries so now we have five planets in total that are pushing resources to our Hub planet and then after that you can start scouting other planets that that are going to give you some one-off resources for instance this is Florine and tetrafluorides and at the end of the day you end up with something that looks like this just storage bins lined for as far as the eye can see 360° around your compound so it's AB actually acting as a barrier to keep enemies out but it's also a good way allows you to keep on expanding because you can always stack crates on top of each other and 360° radius around your compound is a lot of storage crates so what does this look like you seen it through the menus what does it look like in the storage bins so as you can see we just got copper for days just bins and bins of copper and the copper we're actually getting natively here the copper starts up there where he just came from and it ends here so the extractors are pushing in here sending it down the chain up until where we just were and then when I run out of storage bins here I'll just stack another lay on layer on top of it so then we jump up here and this is our first Cargo Link that's given us all of our iron our aluminum our tantalum and our brillium just absolute metric tons of those four resources and it keeps on going too as you can see all of these are green this is all of our brillium iron tantalum and aluminum still and then this Cargo Link is also giving us our alkanes and helium 3 so one Cargo Link is giving us six resources in total and in order to make that happen we have two planets that Cargo Link is connected to this planet this planet is sending its alumin umum buril and helium to this planet so ultimately this planet setting six resources out it's sending this planet's resources and its own resources to my Hub planet and you don't have to do that if you invest in Outpost management because Outpost management is going to to give you more cargo links when I first got these outposts down I did not have that so I only was able to put down three on a planet well if I wanted to receive resources from you know five or six planets on this one I wasn't going to be able to do that so I had to make some cuts and get creative and that is just essentially filtering resources into another planet planet and then that other planet is sending multiple planets resources to your Hub Planet so I mean at the end of the day to make this happen my best advice for you is to find One Singular solar system put all your planets inside of that solar system so you don't have to have a helium 3 link to run that Cargo Link cuz you got two cargo Links at the end of the day that you can use you have your basic Cargo Link which can be used in the same system and no fuel is required for that but then you have your inner system Cargo Link which can go anywhere in the settled systems but in order to run it you have to have helium 3 at both lengths so you're going to have to have helium 3 on two different planets or you're going to have to have a planet sending helium 3 to that planet if it doesn't have it so you can avoid all of that just by finding one good system and putting everything down on that so for me it was The Chariot B system which is the same system that's the uh operation star seed system you can either choose this system which I'll tell you right now it's a pretty freaking good system so I mean at the end of the day I would strongly advise on choosing one system I would do it as early as possible and I would invest in your Outpost perks when you do those three things something like this can be done in as little as 10 hours because not every Outpost needs to be extensive like this this only looks the way it does because I have five cargo links sending in materials and I got to put them somewhere so I just have storage bins absolutely out the yingyang of stuff and then we have this Cargo Link which is all of our nickel Cobalt Platinum just absolute metric tons of crates of nickel Cobalt and platinum that ends in these four large ones from this Cargo Link from this planet so this planet has a Cargo Link on it that's sending all of the resources that are on that planet to my hob Planet specifically this Cargo Link and then you have the same concept over on this one all of these bins here are receiving titanium tungsten in lead through the incoming box linked to these all the way down filling up this m massive wall and ending in these nine large crates so just between those three cargo links we have all of our Rock based resources that you would ever need to build anything in your Outpost or weapons in armor and then our last Cargo Link is just simply where all of our adhesive our sealant just basically our animal husbandry and Greenhouse stuff so we just have loads and loads of your Essentials and that's coming from this planet an abundant tempered Planet so to summarize everything find one solar system all your planets inside that solar system start out with your most crucial planets so your aluminums your irons your thomston your titaniumsalute04 and being sent to your Hub Planet you were pretty much so 90% there after that it's just building up your hug Hub Planet building all the storage you would ever need getting a good crew to run it and really just Scouting For Your miscellaneous uh resources like down here this is just nothing but Tetra fluides and Florine just resources that you don't need all the time but doesn't hurt to have and then you have your five perks that you need your Outpost engineering your planetary habitation zoology and botney so four of the five are in One Tree your science tree now you're going to have to invest but just investing in your space suit and weapon along with your zoology and boty loone that can get you down to tier four and those are parks that you're going to want to have anyways and then you have your Outpost management as your fifth so let me know if this is something that you would want to see into a detailed breakdown because at the end of the day there's a lot of things that go into making this happen but it's way more simple than you would think once you get the core down then it's smooth sailing from there at that point once the core is down and you have your planets it's all in just how much of everything do you want and how much storage are you willing to put in cuz really it all just boils down to how much of it do you really want and you can have three storage bins of everything if you really want or you can have 40 create storage bins of everything it's really just up to you so you know I hope this helped somebody let me know if you want to see more detailed breakdown because really there are a lot of connections that do have to go into this but the Jimmy changa is [Music] out
