Split PDF | Free Windows Microsoft Store App | Split PDF Offline Without Adobe Acrobat - No Limits

so i have a pdf with three chapters that i want to split into three separate documents so we've got chapter two and then also chapter three now we're going to do this by using an application that's freely available in the microsoft store so the first thing to do is to open up the microsoft store and you can get to it by searching for it on your taskbar if i click on this little search button it appears here because i've recently used it but if you can't see it just type in microsoft store and then select microsoft store at the top here type pdf merger and you should see a program called pdf merger and splitter click on that and then you need to click on this blue button here install that will start the download and then it will install the application and then once it's done that you can click on open so you have two options here merge and split i've done a video on merging using this application we're going to look at splitting a pdf so we click on this button here click on load pdf and then you need to navigate to the file that you want to split select it and then click on open and it gives you a little preview of each of the pages in your pdf so next we need to decide how we're going to split the document i want to split it by chapter so i'm going to select the pages in the first chapter then click on split pdf down at the bottom right here and you need to browse to where you want to store the new pdf click on select folder and then i would suggest you open the folder and then rename this document so i would call this chapter one and if i double click on this you can see that it's only extracted the pages that i selected the chapter one pages so the next thing i want to do is extract chapter two so untick these two pages select the chat to two pages and then i've got to repeat the process so i click on split pdf select the folder that i want to extract to and then i'd open the folder again and i'd rename that chapter two and so if i double click on this and then have the chapter text within this pdf so for the final chapter i'd have to do exactly the same select all three pages split pdf select the folder open the folder and rename now the other options you have is that you can down here change the output settings so it extracts each selected page as a separate pdf that's not what we want here but if i was to do it it would create seven separate pdfs from each of these pages okay that's all i wanted to cover in this particular video hopefully that's useful if it is please give me a thumbs up and subscribe and i'll see you next video [Music]
