ado, let's play Splatoon. It's gonna be messy, here we go. All right guys, let's start off with what looks like the tutorial of Splatoon. "Hey you, yeah you, wanna be the freshest squid on the block? We'll teach you some funky fresh moves on the way to Inkopolis." Here we go, whoa! Okay, okay, hold on, I know, here we go. Do I actually have to aim with this? Come on. Okay, here we go. Uh, boom. Splat. Okay, here we go, yes. All right, moving with the gamepad's okay, um, here we go. But I can also move
with the R stick, right? A little bit, maybe? All right, I'm getting used to this. All right, yeah, this is good, here we go. This is all me getting
used to the controls here. Splatoon, baby! Oh, reset the camera, that's a great idea. There we go, that's cool. All right, reset the camera, perfect. All right, there you go. I guess I don't have much... woah, what's the squid? Okay, turn into a squid. I can swim in the ink, holy moly, you gotta be kidding me,
I can swim in the ink? All right, that's cool. That's a cool new feature, well, new feature meaning this
game, everything's new, I'm happy about it. This is great. I can swim up walls. All right, let's do it. Nice. All right, swim up the walls. Nice, and jump. There we go. Ooh, how do I do this? "While swimming, press
X to do a dash jump." Aaah! I didn't quite make it, hold on. This is the tutorial guys, hold up. All right, here we go. This is me getting used to the controls. Oh, come on. All right, I gotta figure
this out before it's too late. All right, this gonna
work this time, right? Here we go. Here we go. Yes! Made it. All right, this is all
part of the tutorial, it's all part of me getting
used to the controls, and the mechanics here. Uh, yeah, swim through gates, there we go. I love this. Okay, this is fun. Oh no. " To cover enemy ink with your color. You'll get stuck in ink
that's not your color." Okay. That makes sense, that makes sense to me. We're gonna get rid of the pink ink. No one likes this here, no way. I can swim faster. All right, throw bombs,
whoa, I have bombs? Nice. Low ink though. Oh yeah, you gotta swim, you gotta swim to fill
up your ink, interesting. All right, let's sorta
finish that off, there we go. And then, we're going to,
what are we doing here? What are we doing? Can I splat it all the way up, and then just kinda go up the wall here? I can indeed, perfect. That's what I like to see here. I love it, okay, "All right,
you're ready for action." Press ZL to super jump. Holy moly, where am I going? We're just learning the ropes here, guys. This is a tutorial mode, so to speak. Nintendo! Here we go. Look at these new characters. This is what, Inkopolis or something? All right. Splatoon. "Hold on to your tentacles." "It's Inkopoliis news time." "Let's unveil the current
regular battle stages." "All right." Urchin Underpass. "I think securing the central
area here is the key." " I'd stage my attack from
some of those side alleys." Blackbelly Skatepark. "Judd fell out of a tree
trying to grab a coconut." "Don't worry, he has a
lot of built in cushion." "News flash, news flash." " What is it, what is it?" "Inkopolis's Great Zapfish has vanished." "Wait, seriously?" "If it isn't recovered soon,
are we gonna lose power?" "Oh, I'm sure it'll be fine, probably." "I wonder if it has anything
to do with that UFO crash?" "Sounds likely to me." "Well, that's all for
now, until next time..." "Stay fresh!" All right. I made my character just
like the default for now, I might change her up later. "This is the plaza, where
all the freshest folk come to chill like krill. Most inklings here are obsessed with the hottest sport in
Inkopolis: ink battles. The crazy tall building in
front of you is Inkopolis Tower. It's the city's most famous landmark." All right. "There's a lobby on the first floor of Inkopolis Tower for online battles. This is the Booyah Base,
a shopping mall for all your inkling needs. You can buy all kinds of fresh gear and weapons to use in battle. But check it, the staff in the
shops, can be a snobby bunch. They won't serve you if they don't think you're fresh enough." All right, I hope I'm fresh enough. "Battle Dojo is on the second floor of that building over there. Check it out if you want to battle your friends one on one and
sharpen your skills. You might want to steer
clear of that back alley, smells a little fishy. And next we have, huh? Who's that creepy old dude? He seems like the type who
could get you mixed up in something dangerous." I don't know if I want
to mess with him, then. "Whatever, why don't you
just head to the lobby of Inkopolis Tower, that's where you can get your splat on." All right, let's do it. Game saved. Lots of people just hanging out over here. I kinda wanna check out
the creepy old dude, what's up my friend? Oh, he's hiding away. I could enter that, but
let's do as the game says, what does Donna have to say? Oh wow, level five. Oh boy, I don't know if... get Judd's wet advice. Judd, what is your advice? " Meow. Whoa pal, you've got to work on that positively clawful level. Fur reals, go to the lobby and play some Turf War battles to level up. Once you've done that, try
visiting the weapons shop. Cat-cha later." All right, so this is a brand new game, brand new franchise from Nintendo, I'm excited to be trying it out, what, is this graffiti
important in any way? Doesn't seem so. All right, now I'm going in. "Welcome to the lobby,
this is the place to be for Ink Battles. You can raise your levels and earn that sweet, sweet cash by battling. A higher level will let you
access the freshest gear in the shops, and play all new
battle modes here in the lobby. So get that level up. If you wanna buy weapons and gear, you've gotta earn some cash first. So if you want the freshest gear, you've gotta battle as much as you can. But enough talk, let's
get you started with a regular battle. As your level increases, don't forget to check the shops in the plaza. All right, got get em!" All right, I'm happy
to do a regular battle, "Play Turf War with players
all over the world." Let's try it out. Join a regular battle,
and let's see what this is gonna be all about. We're searching for a battle to join. Here we go. Whoa, we got, indeed,
players all over the world, and I am the lowest level here, so I do not expect a victory. "Turf War, ink the most turf to win!" Okay, I'll do my darndest to try this out. Oh my goodness. We're team orange. Okay, ready, go. I am ready, ink the most
turf, let's do this. Is there gonna be any secret to this? I'm going to ink our area, well, I guess. All right, I'm just trying. Whoa, he has, like, a brush. Okay, low ink? Yes, you gotta get the ink
back up, I can't go under. It's okay. All right, so what's... Agh. I don't even know what's
happening, stop it. Hey. Ugh. What happened to me? Oh, I got splatted. That's gonna be definitely a.... Let's go ahead and spray our home turf as much as possible. Looks like there's a little
bit of a missing area here. This is my intro round. All right, don't worry, we're gonna... splash as much as possible here. I'm gonna even splash the walls. Oh, I don't think I can go up any higher. Oh dear. Well I'm splatting the
turf as much as I can. Someone's got some blue over here, I don't like that. All right, yes, low ink, of course, of course it's low ink. All right, let's try
to cover up this blue. I feel like I'm working alone right now. The music here is crazy weird. Is that an enemy or a friend? Friend or foe? Can't quite tell, yet. Friend. Okay, one minute left. Bubbler? What the heck is that? I don't understand the
concept of the Bubbler yet. No, I tried to splat em! It didn't quite work. Let's go, let's get in here. I like how you can swim across your ink. It's a cool little feature. Ah man, I missed that. Hole moly. I feel like we have a large
portion of this covered. No, agh, no. I got splatted again,
it's like three to zero in terms of splats. All right, I have no idea what my... Oh no, oh no. Gotta get this back. I'm trying to cover it all back in time. Low ink, no. All right, who won that one? No idea. Oh, they did. It's pretty obvious that they won. Yeah. Yeah, I can tell from
the map that they won. Holy moly, I didn't do too well, I'm new at this game, you
can't expect me to be perfect. I'm still level one, I did
the worst on my team as well. Defeat for our team. Still level one, okay. So we have a... what else do we have here? Battle again? Yeah, why not, we've gotta battle again. Here we go, level one, again. Let's see what happens. We're looking for more
people for our team, I'm still the lowest level. It's gonna be battle time. Let's do this. Ink the most turf to win,
this is like a skate park. Maybe I should just blast out of here, and try to go forward, I dunno. I don't know what the
strategy is here yet. I did not play the early releases, so... It's so weird that you
can go back down into your ink and get more ink. That doesn't really make a
lot of sense to me, but... All right, maybe I should
try to splat someone. Low ink, let's swim in it. Here we go. So what does this do? The Bubbler. I don't quite understand
what the Bubbler does. Oh dear. Oh dear. I'm already having problems, like, trying to figure out... Go up, I'm trying to splat
this person, come on. Go! Okay, there we go. I don't like how they're in our turf. All right, probably shouldn't
have focused so much on just, like, individual stuff. Yeah! Oh yeah. Oh, that's so cool. Oh, I got splatted that time. One minute left. No, no. Some sort of crazy bomb just happened. Now I'm trying to figure
out what my thing is, is it just a shield? No. Oh man. Squished by the splat roller. Here we go, let's get this going. Oh. My view. Okay, I have no idea how that turned out. Let's find out. We won, we had to have won
that one, that was awesome. Yes, victory. Which means a lot more points, we're all dancing this time. All right. That was cool. And I had the most points? You've got to be kidding me! Oh my goodness. So, ability upgrade. What is happening, is it random? I don't understand what that is. Battle again? How about no, let's go back,
now that I'm leveled up, they recommended that
I return to the lobby. Uh, so they're the plaza. So let's go back to the
plaza, and see what's what. Cause this is the part that... oh my gosh. All right, so... Let's go to these stores here. I'm confused what these stores are, we're gonna take a full tour. "Jelly Fresh! Thank for bluhhh. A fashion crime is in the progress. Moldy customer is moldy. Jelenze is in the great shock. Level four is being required, you are needing more of
the fresh for the shopping. Play regular battle in
lobby for the freshest, uh, freshness. Yes, then again, visit," okay. He's talking weird. So I'm sorry I went in
here, I wasn't fresh enough. Uh, who has weapons and stuff? Let's go here and find out. All right, someone's talking. "Um, hello, I'm very
sorry, but I'm afraid..." Seems like level four might be the part in which I want to go. "Beat it loser." Come on. Come on, don't insult me. I didn't know. I had no clue. All right, uh... boring squid, yeah. I, um... I'm just curious what all these are. What's this one, is it all gonna be level four like "Whoooaa,
sorry, level four is required." "Yo, squiddo, good to see
you here in Shrimp Kicks. Is what I would be saying
if you weren't so un-fresh, for reals dude, do you even battle? You've gotta have that
level four freshness before I can help you. Sorry, thems the rules." All right guys, so I'm
gonna go back into battle, and get to level four. I think that's gonna be the
only real option for me. I don't fully understand my abilities, uh, if you guys wanna leave any
comments do let me know. You know, "Meow, the vibe meter is in the lobby of the missions," your purformance... okay, yes. You boost your vibe, come up with a solid strategy for... okay. All right, we got it. Well somehow, you know what, doesn't... Oh, thank you. Because he's talking to me. I don't know where the weapon shop is. But we'll get there soon. Let's get to level four. Let's at least try to get to level four by the end of this video, and
then upgrade whatever we can. And, uh... you know last round, I was first place on my team,
which was the winning team, which says to me that
I'm not doing so bad, so let's see what we've got here. I'm level two now, still
the lowest on our team. I think I was... I may have not been the
highest, I don't know, it just seemed like it at the time. Ink the most turf to win,
Blackbelly Skatepark. Here we go, we are team pink. Pink versus green. Here we go, I'm going to be trying to ink all of this area. Yes, here we go. This is crazy. Low ink, well fill me up, captain. I don't know why there has
to be a captain involved, but sure enough. Low ink again, come on. No! Splat em. Oh jeez, I'm gonna try to stay away, holy moly, this is not good. Please aim at them, at them. Aim at them. They're coming into our home turf. Yes! Yes! All right, I am doing good here. Now what exactly does
the Bubbler do again? Is it just protection? Oh dear, ohhh.... got me. Got me for sure. All right, let's see what we got here. We don't want our area splatted that much, of course, but it looks
like we don't have much of a choice, because right
now that's how it is. Oh. Let's go back. Yes... ohh! I was steamrolled though. I took someone out but then
was subsequently steamrolled. All right, we have gotta
do some major work here to. Yes. Take that. All right, we're trying to cover up again. Here we go, let's do a 360 spin around. Yeah, this is good stuff. I am having a little bit
of difficulty aiming, but that's okay. I wish this were not... I might look at the controls
in time for next episode, but, Here we go. No. Okay, I survived. How did we do? Ugh, that's a tough one. Who knows? Ohhh... we lost that one. Such a shame, such a shame. All right, well, uh... defeat. I had the most points on my
team again, quite possibly. Not enough to level four yet, but we're gonna keep going,
I'm gonna keep Splatooning. Yeah, let's battle again, let's do it. Let's see what we got. Level two. Let's see if I end up still
being the lowest on our team. I feel like I'm doing ridiculously well, for being so new at this game. How are we doing? Still low. Come on, come on, one more player is all we need. I had like the highest
score, I can't believe it. All right, still the lowest
on not just the team, the whole entire battle here. Uh, but I've been doing
good score wise, so... you know, thanks for

here we go, let's do this. Got the grenade still, of course. Low ink, swim in it. I know. I'm still splatting everything here. I can't splat that wall, I'm an idiot. Charge, my shield is charged. Gotcha. Take that. All right, this is an
exciting moment here. I think we might win this one, we're kind of getting a lot done. Uh-oh. Oh, he got me. He got me. All right. Hey, let's be sure to splat this area over here, because we can. Looks like we haven't been splatting it, we might want to. One minute left. I like how short some of these are. That's good for me. Here we go. So much left. All right. No, I've already been this way. No, he got me even when I'm underground! So uncool. All right, let's go. You know we wanna do this right. All right, how did we do? Let's find out. Agh, I think they won. Darn, we did not get far enough over. We won, we won! I thought that, oh wow, we won though. There we go, that's pretty cool. And once again, me with the most points. How is this happening? Level three. Fantastic. I can't wait until we're
fresh enough to be level four. Yeah, battle again. I think I'm doing quite well, here we go. I'm level three. This is fun, Splatoon. And let's see if I once
again am the lowest level. And maybe even highest
scorer of the thing. So, here we go. If I do well enough,
I could be level four. I dunno. Turf war, ink the most turf to win, let's find out if that happens again. We're team blue. Let's do what we gotta do. I'm just gonna go up here. This is almost like, it's
like more than a shooter, it reminds me a little bit of Portal, in the way that there's like these paint based puzzles, I think, the goop based puzzles in Portal. I'm kind of staying on
home turf a little bit. Uh-oh. Make it under, make it
under, let me escape. Their wrath. Come on, get em. Retreat really quick. Got em. Splatted Ken, take that Ken. Oh no, I'm trying to get
out, I'm trying to get out! Oh, I was stuck in the corner, I couldn't. Ohh. I'm trying, though. Splatooned. That would be a cool way
to call it, you know, like, "Hey, you've been Splatooned." You've been Splatooned. Oh no. Low ink. All right, is my thing charged up yet? Oh, he shielded. He shielded before he got me. It's a real shame. Hey, let's not forget to
splat this area over here. And don't forget to do the walls. We got a minute left. Oh dear. Here, we're going to
maybe escape this area. We're going to paint over all of the orange progress that they've
been trying to make here. Yeah, team work right there. Do the walls count? Because I feel like, you know, All right, I splatted somebody, though. Let's see where we end up. Oh-hoh-oh, we won that one big time. Oh, wow. I like that cat. We did it. We did it for sure. And I was not number one that time, I was third place, so that's
a little humbling this time. And I'm not quite yet level four, let's do one more, maybe
we'll be level four then. But I was part of the winning team. "Breaking news! Let's go live to Callie
and Marie in the studio." Let's indeed, let's see
what this is all about. What's the breaking news? All right, I can't read that. "Hold on to your tentacles." "It's Inkopolis news time." "Let's unveil the current

the battles going on?" "Don't know, probably eating

we'll be fresh enough to get some new whatever. And then we'll be done with the video. So regular battle seems good to me. And let's join a new regular battle, and see where we end up with Splatoon. Hopefully you guys are

I fell off the ledge. That's the first time I've done that. Here we go, we've gotta get to the battlefield really quick. Hey, I splatted em. Let's do this. We want clear paths to go... respawn is something I need, I don't want to die that often. Yeah, what is recon? Hold on, info... Allows you to see the opposing team on the map while standing... (mumbling) Recon doesn't seem cool. Decrease amount of ink
consumed by your main weapon... Cold Blooded, shortens the effects of attacks that let enemies
track your position. Man, I don't know, man. Sub-weapon. Main weapon. Okay, let's go with the Ink Saver Main? I don't know. Buy, equip. There we go, I'm looking
really funky fresh. All right. So, again, this is just a
process that I'm going through, to get cool items, uh... All right, let's see what,

the look I've been looking for. The Great Zapfish that powers Inkopolis has been squidnapped. Nobody believes me, but it's the work of the Ocatiarians, I just know it. They want revenge for the Great
Turf War of 100 years ago. I've been keeping an eye on
them this whole time, of course. But they stole the Great
Zapfish right out from under my nose. Please, you gotta help me
rescue the Great Zapfish. So... I'm gonna take

It's like single player stuff going on. All right, this is a good practice to, because these guys uh... Uh-oh, low ink. Oh, I got hit. I got hit. Got em, launchpad ahoy. This is definitely an interesting thing. "You're gonna want that armor." I am indeed. You've gotta have a key to open the vault. All right, that's what
I'll be focused on, then. Here we go. All right Agent 3, make for the vault. Where is this so called vault? Where's the vault? Okay, guys, I need to
know where the vault is, it's not gonna help me just to tell me to go to the vault, because
I don't know where it is. Where's the vault? Is that it right here? This could be the vault. Okay, okay. This is crazy, I'm getting a
lot done, final checkpoint. All right. I feel like this ink
hurts me a little bit. Oh cool, I don't have to
move around, it just happens. Okay, I found another key. Way to be, agent 3, make for the vaultsy. The vault's over here, I think. Uh-oh, whoa, surprise attack. Here we go. Hoo boy. Zapfish. Bust it and grab it. Grabbed it. So that's on zapfish
down, Octotrooper Hideout, Catch That Zapfish, onward. This is a weird mode, for sure. I wanna go back home. I wanna be done for today. Oh my gosh, where am I? Oh my gosh, two more zapfish? I wasn't ready for this. I really wasn't. But, okay, let's be on our way. Can I go back home? All right. Sunken Scrolls. Oh my gosh, I don't even
know what this stuff is. Upgrade gear? Okay, I'll do this later, oh my goodness. Oh man, so much, yes, back to Inkopolis. Maybe we'll do more
